I have had a lot of support and help from the staff here for mental health problems, and I highly recommend going here if you are feeling suicidal and need help❤ If you live too far away from here, the Misercordia emergency room was equal in help, support, kindness, and bed side manner.

I was driven to emergency by friends when I was 16 and you denied me medical care. I had obvious head trauma(bleeding from my nose and head), obviously intoxicated and you sent me home to sleep it off. I had headaches for a week, my coordination was compromised and I couldn't sleep. How is this possible?

22-24th January 2018: A very comforting zone when you are in trouble, physically, mentally and emotionally. The staff is so understanding, helping, patient and environment so soothing that half of your illness evaporated by itself. May God bless them all, Doctors, paramedics and Volunteers. Thank you all

I came in for an arm injury. Considering that it wasn't life threatening the wait time was reasonable and the staff were amazing!

There was a night shift nurse name Jae or Jeo, I don't remember exactly. Short, around 24, dark complexion, probably a Philippina. She was incredibly rude, to the point that every interaction with her was like a slap in the face. In any different situation I would have got up and left but in ER I had no choice- I was waiting for important test results (and she knew it). So she could keep being arrogant and "putting people in their place" with no consequences. I would not go there again. If needs be, I would try University next time. Best of luck Jeo. Or Jae.

Had 1 month old baby in emergency. Baby kept on crying for 4 hours but no one came to help other than just me waiting there trying to calm my baby and panicking. Worst service. People who came after me were called in before me. This is how they value a new mother who was alone with a month old baby there. Would not even give 1 star.

Very rude front desk staff don’t know the name early morning at 2am on oct 18 !!telling mom that feed new born baby in front of everyone at emergency!!

I will give zero star to this hospital Worst experience of my life Do not go there for any concern of your life.. Doctor and nurse are not co operative and they do not care about your health. Discharged too soon that we have to go to emergency again within 8 hours.. They are over confident in their treatment and they do not even verify their own work resulting in your health risk. They will put you in more risk than your current condition. Please please do not go to this hospital.. if you need advise please reply this message..i will contact you back...

It's as good as it gets for emerg people, let's be realistic... what ER is perfect...

Pretty decent. I mean, it's an emergency room, how awesome can that be? Ha!

Yesterday morning, I had 2 episodes of soft black stool followed by mild to severe abdominal pain. The pain started around noon then started to get worst so I went to emergency department. I reach around 3 30 pm. I had to get a wheelchair, however someone push me cause I couldn't walk due to the pain. I cried in the waiting area from around 4 30 straight to about 8 30 when my name was called and they wheeled me to see a doctor. They ordered morphine and graval, I told them I hallucinate with graval they change order to IV buscopan . I was poked 9 times and still no iv access, I cried out all my tears, then I beg them to call doctor and requested the morphine IM, I finally got it around 9 30 pm and I slept til around 11 pm. I am saddened by the unconcerned attitude of the nurses and I allude this all to covid and it allies but I thank God the pain is gone. I did no ultrasound, and they did not address my black stool and severe distended abdomen, they only treated my symptoms. Please if u are sick and its not covid stay home and pray to God

Not covid friendly. I wonder who is in charge of making sure that the emergency department is a finely tuned. I got triaged in order to get triaged. Like wow. People standing everywhere. People sitting next to each other. Witnessed several issues. Left after an hour and went to another hospital where I was treated promptly. (I required stitches).

This 5 star is specially dedicated to Nurses in early pregnancy loss program. My heartfelt thanks to your team in grey nuns hospital. I was supported emotionally, guided throughout those tough situations. Without all your guidance, I don't think I would be able to get over my grief, and take all that happened positively. I was often checked , educated on what I should expect and how to overcome the loss. All my concerns were answered patiently, I was also given an opportunity to vent out my self... I felt so safe and grateful qhile I was under your care and supervision. Thank you very much. You people are the angels on the earth. My prayers for all of you. Thank you very much again. God bless you all.

I was trying to explain things to a nurse for my boyfriend at the triage. The nurse asked me if my boyfriend could speak English in a sarcastic way. He also said my boyfriend had to tell his symptoms on his own when he sees doctors. However, I’m sure doctors have ways to assess patients who are unable to speak. Also I’m sure he won’t ask us the same question if we are white

With my 22-month-old daughter, I went to the Grey Nuns emergency room. Her ear ache was causing her to cry. Everything is alright, according to the doctor, and you are free to go. She was irritated and had not slept properly. Her ear was dripping with blood. She was diagnosed at the Strollery Hospital. Grey Nuns Emergency Hospital is never recommended for children.

Triage nurses are very rude here, give you no help but like to snap at you when you ask how much longer it will be when you have been there for 3hrs already. Are they not supposed to be caring not, if your unhappy go somewhere else to work or quit your job, people don't need that.

I went to ER on Monday 20th September 2021 at around 5:30 am. The upfront staff - i dont know the name of the receptionist but she was very rude. I was dying of pain. At that point i didnr know that i was having deadly pain due to ectopic pregnancy. I threw up right in front of the counter but she was busy in cleaning the surface rather sttending me…finally after an hour they got me in to dictor and they took like 4 hours to diagnose. Its fine as they have to get to the root of the pain in my lower abdomen and to stomach. Later on doctors took good care of me. But the EPL team didnt follow up for my pregnancy loss. Doctors were really nice and took care of mine however the receptionist that day was very rude and unprofessional. They should have sympathy and they should be taking care of patients as soon as possible..thats why they are in the nursing profession to take care of people and help them anytime possible.

Was admitted after having a heart attack recently. Can't thank them enough for their professionalism and knowledge on rehab. Excellent level of care with absolutely no issues.

Very very very very slow

If you have an emergency, do NOT go here unless it's the last possible option, you'll probably die in the waiting room after some nurse tells you to stop ...not recommended.

pragna patel

Nice,co-operating, they know what they r doing.

Robby Singh

Front desk nurses are awful to deal with. They don’t understand your emergency, too my wife there at 1:30 am due to emergency reasons and they had her waited for 45 minutes, and only got her in after me yelling at them for a few times. Won’t recommend at all for emergency cases.

wilfred mathew

I've been there in emenrgency on 17 June 2020 at 0900 with worse pain. Front desk staff at entrance is really unprofessional and rude. When I voiced I'm in real pain she responded very rude and stated " that's why you are here" and teasing with male costaff and stated" trying to be smarter " " > I don't know how they can behave like criminals .. Very unperofessionals...
