You will see the reviews of people like you who purchased the products of Queen Elizabeth Health Complex (Hospital) in Côte-Saint-Luc (Canada).
Now this firm has a score of 2.3 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is really insufficient, and it's based on a large number of scores, so we can say that the valuation is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Hospital corresponds to the category of Medical Center.
I have been to the Urgent Care facility about 3x now and was able to follow-up with the same doctor, Dr. Hobeika who is extremely efficient and thorough. She had referred me to several specialists to clarify my conditions which gives me peace of mind, while I still wait for over a year now to be assigned a family doctor. I do not mind the long wait time for a great doctor! Always a good experience when I come here.
Everything is bad there, doctors, appointments , treatment the worst are the nurses. After 2 month of waiting the results. They give you an appointment to see the doctor.. you are there and the docotor asks: why are you here? !!!!!!! This medical center is a waste of tax money no more.
Rudest staff I have even seen in any clinic
30 years at the Roper clinic and QE family medicine. With multiple medical issues I was told 6 months ago my doctor was on a sabbatical and to try again in a month. After a month was told he was still away and to try again later.. Operator suggested I contact administrator. After leaving 2 messages I had no response. Now received a condescending letter saying the doctor was no longer practicing and I had to register for a new GP. The wait list has 800000 people on it. I'll probably die before getting a new GP. and to try again later in the month.
Old receptionist with short hair and glasses is really evil. She is so rude insensitive and has poor manners. Has made me cry on more than one occasion.
Extremely long wait times and very run down hospital. Dr Clark says that he is head of teaching at the emergency. Hopefully he is not teaching bedside manner as he has no empathy at all for patients.
I've been coming to this clinic with my daughter since she was a baby, they are really hit or miss. Sometimes they are fantastic, and sometimes I've had the receptionists be so incredibly rude to me. Recently though, I went at 5:30 on a Friday, and was told they were no longer accepting patients. That's totally understandable, but maybe it would be helpful to say that the clinic doesn't accept patients after a certain time so people don't waste their time getting there. Very frustrating.
I have just left the Queen E Complex. I needed a blood test. I was there at about 9:05 am.today, Sept. 21. There were several people waiting and had been left there for about 15 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes. There was a sign on the door saying 'back in a moment'. Someone went to check with a security guard who said she sometimes doesn't show up. This is not free and this is shoddy service at the Queen E ??? And 1 technician????. I had to fast and I would have gone to the CLSC Benny had I been there earlier or another private place. This type of service is grossly unacceptable. Several people , myself including left. If one doesn't want to work then perhaps it would be better to find personnel who do.
I went there with my son because he had a possible arm fracture. We got through triage, consultation, x-rays & consultation in under 3 hours (9:15-12:00), despite it being crowded and a Friday. (I compare this to the Children's and LaSalle hospital where I've had to wait 6+ hours in the few times I've gone.) Everyone was really polite and helpful. Dr. Birdi was very sweet and took my number so she could call me with the x-ray results instead of having us wait all day. I think the staff did their best.
I work in the health care field and only have good things to about my experience this morning. The staff was very polite and the physician was very kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I was out within 2 hours.
Read a lot of negative reviews before going so I thought I'd share my two cents. I had a relatively decent experience over all. Took 15 minutes to get checked in, and another 15 to see the nurse, go through general procedure and take a number. From there the wait was rather long (about 3 hours) but I just signed up for the their text notification service, went home and came back at the appropriate time. I found the staff to be pleasant and friendly, and the whole process was reasonably organized given the amount of patients. Not a bad time at all.
If i could give a 0 star i would the front desk ladies seem like they dont like their jobs. Very rude
I took my 8 year old daughter to the walk in clinic because her left hand was grotesquely swollen, i explained to the doctor (an older indian looking man), that she has an allergy to mosquitos (diagnosed by her family doctor) and always requires antibiotics when bitten as it swells so largely. Well needless to say, on top of waiting HOURS to be seen he added insult to injury by barely looking at her hand then stating he wont give antibiotics, "just put a warm rag on it" .The next morning it was even more swollen so I took her to force medic clinic who looked at her hand and sent us straight to the children's hospital emergency with a referral. Thank God we waited less than 2 minutes before being called into a room and my daughter had to be on i.v antibiotics for 3 days and then oral antibiotics for 5 days AND now requires an epipen. NEVER GOING BACK TO THE QUEEN ELIZABETH WALK IN CLINIC!!!!
FAMILY MEDICINE NEVER ANSWERS THE DAMN PHONE OR RETURN MESSAGES!! WHO'S ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL AT THIS FACILITY??!!!! Anyone who gives this place any sort of high rating are in cahoots with this place!!
WORST service ever. Very disrespectful, and absolutely no empathy. Was in front of my phone 10:30 for a 11:00 consultation, phoned them back at 11:25 to know when would the doctor call, made for wait for 15min to finally tell me I missed my spot cause they called me at 10:00, mentioning the doctors always calls 1 hour earlier, all that, very disrespectfully. The receptionist was ok, but the nurse had a serious lack of empathy and was very disrespectful saying all this. Will never return again.
Absolutely awful experience from beginning to end. I arrived at the clinic in the morning and was triaged quickly, after waiting for around an hour I decided to pay for the service that they text you telling how close to your turn you are so you don't need to just sit there for hours. I left to grab food, since I'm 6 months pregnant and really needed to be fed. All of sudden I get the 3 texts about my turn all at once (they tell you you're supposed to get 3 different ones as your turn approaches, 7, 4 and 2 patients away). I run to back to clinic, speak to the receptionist and she giggled and acts like this is something that always happens. So basically they are aware of an issue and they let people in pain engage with that without doing anything about it? IT GETS WORSE! I finally get called again then the real issue happens, the doctor was unprofessional in different levels. First he acts like me going to see a doctor for a sore throat and cold was unacceptable and acts really dismissive. I explain to him that I normally wouldn't but the fact that I am pregnant combined with extreme fatigue got me worried. I tell him I would just like some advice on how to proceed to make sure I get well being mindful of the baby. He literally tells me there's nothing I can do (???). I tell kindly tell him it's my first pregnancy and would like to know about specific things (like teas, how much time should I rest, etc) that could help me with the extreme sore throat and fatigue. He starts talking about how back pain is common in pregnancy and it is what it is and I should exercise (????) I NEVER at any point mentioned a back pain and I should exercise while I clearly have a cold? After basically begging for some sort of medical advice he tells me "Fine if you want something go get this"... He tells me to go to the pharmacy to get steroids and the pharmacist tells me that this is a medication to treat allergies - which I don't have and never mentioned anything about it, in fact when I was triaged, I said no to allergies. I left the clinic more stressed and in more pain than I when I got there and without any real guidance, not mentioned feeling like my condition didn't matter at all.
Absolutely disgusting human being of a nurse that is receiving people today. Tall bald African American man., poorly bilingual and obnoxiously agressive in nature in his approach to people. Not only was he interrupting as I was asking questions it, he then proceeded to walk away. YOU ARE THE MEDICARE SYSTEM’S PROBLEM , people like you. I call to complain about said individual and am given the same attitude by another answering the phone calls. You all deserve to be fired. You chose to HELP people then you dismiss them and sit on your high horse. I WILL BE ESCALATING THIS TO YOUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MY GOAL IS YOUR JOB TO BE TAKEN FRON YOU. The health of individuals is in your hands and your audacity is appalling. I pray you never know what it is like to worry about anything medical.
Ignore the negative reviews: they must have listened and reorganized their staff because my experience was nothing like what I was expecting. First of all the receptionists must have changed because both of them were young and very pleasant. My wait time was a couple hours (which is reasonable for a Sunday morning) but my time with the doctor was efficient and I was ready with a proper prescription within 10 minutes. I believe her name was Dr. Tremblay, she was very kind and professional and really listened to me as described my symptoms. I do remember years back that this place did have a reputation for rude receptionists and hit-or-miss doctors so I'm happy that the Queen E responded to the feedback and changed staff!
Just came here at 7:10pm, they close at 8pm and had the secretary plastered a sign right in my face saying that they're not taking anymore patients for the night when there was only ONE person sitting in the waiting room and continued on with her work. How or why do they just have one doctor working?!
(Translated) I think that the neurologist and especially his assistant could not fool me anymore :) After 3 years of waiting for a consultation in neuro, it is special to come across as much indifference. In fact, the neurologist was faithful to the reputation of MD specialists: expeditious and not interested in the symptoms if the tests reveal nothing. The assistant, a block of ice that does not like her work anymore. Pity... Dommage...
Worst place to go. They treat you like you're a sub-animal.
So far I am unable to see these people since more then a month and you cannot ever get somebody on the phone when you call... If they call you... good luck with that... Terrible place that makes it clear they aint there to assist the people.
Fast and efficient service the last 3 times I went.
(Translated) Rotten service. 4 hours of waiting. Unpleasant staff. Unpleasant welcome. Unable to get the test result over the phone. To be absolutely avoided. (Original) Service pourri. 4 heures d’attentes. Personnel désagréable. Accueil désagréable. Impossible d’avoir le résultat d’examen au téléphone. À Éviter absolument.
The Staff at this Clinic are very nice. It's a 5 mins. Walk from the Metro Vendome. theres a Parking at the back of the clinic.T open at 8:a.m. as soon as you're there take a number and then the staff will call you base on the number you have. They accept RAMQ for sure but they don't accept Private Insurance. I locked myself inside the bathroom and the fellow patient who are waiting in the waiting area Helped me, someone called the security to open the batroom door. I did say thank you but Once again I would like to thank the Security/Staff and the People who was there to helped me. You're all very kind. Thank you and God bless.
I had hives. I booked a phone consultation. A secretary and a nurse/assistant called me first. They were very kind. They asked me to send pictures of my skin to an email address so that the doctor could read before talking with me. Then the doctor was 1-hour late. I asked her if she had seen my email. Apparently she hadn't. She hung up the phone and went to read it. After a while she called back and started telling me what medicine she would prescribe, nothing else. It seemed that she wanted to end the consultation as soon as possible. I asked a few questions but according her answers it was clear that she didn't read the email but only looked at the pictures. I was diagnosed as having ringworm, but how could fungus infections be so sensitive to Loratadine? Also my pictures clearly showed that the symptoms were by no means like ringworm. Later the pharmacy called me to confirm the prescribed medicine, but they told me that they had difficulties preparing the medicine and needed to confirm with the doctor. Now it's the next day, I haven't received any follow-up call from the pharmacy.
It''s busy at the walk in clinic. wait times can be maddening. Call.back services sometimes don't work. But the staff does it's best, the doctors are terrific. The parking lot across the street is another story. Today I paid $16 for less than 5 minutes. This is callous, shameless thievery. That place should be shut down and meters put in. Be warned ! Walk, take the metro, get a lift...and take a cab as a last resort...chances are it'll still be cheaper than parking at this on-going robbery scene.
Fastest clinic I have been too. The doctors here are amazing.
Had to visit clinic twice in three weeks. Both times I was processed in 2 hrs. Profession, polite, and efficient, and open on Saturdays.
Called the contact number and selected all the options. Phone rang over 30 times and no one answered nor was there a recorded info of any kind. This was at 2 pm this afternoon. Closed? Open? Anybody there ?
Friendly staff but long waiting times (as usual in the public service). The doctor was kind, but ignored the problem. We had to see a second doctor in a private clinic to receive some medication.
Very confusing layout - and no legend or maps anywhere.
Mean and rude front desk staff in the imaging front desk. Especially the blondie ewwww!
I thought the experience was fine. Went in on Sunday morning and was in and out in 2 hours. The receptionist, nurse and doctor were all friendly if a bit rushed but that was what I'd expect for a walk in clinic. I left with a prescription and a get well soon, so I'm happy.
My personal experience was an impeccable one (given everything that’s going on right now especially). Nurse Angela and her assistant Felipe was most caring, kind, patient and understanding with me. They were thorough and detailed. I may have lucked out with these two kind MPs. When my appointment ended, I was lost and a kind Asian ethnicity staff who was leaving saw me and guided me. She was also friendly and warm. Grateful for all the kind people working here.
This post is about the walk-in clinic and radiology Appointments for mammograms are available 7 days a week; you can also get bone density x-rays. There's free wifi while you wait, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There's 2 nearby bathrooms and a snack bar too your right as you enter the clinic on Marlowe. The walk-in clinic on the other hand is a long day of waiting. After providing your reason for being there the first wait to see the doctor could possibly have you waiting for 4 hours, then once you get into the examination room, there's at least another 30 minutes before the doctor appears. The clinics itself, isn't that clean, and it had a very tired look about the place and it's understaffed. The building houses doctors in various fields of medicine, as well as specialists. I should add that when I last visited the clinic 5 years ago, the QEHC had a paging service. So that once you took a number, you could go home, and then receive a text, when you're number was close to being called. I'm not sure if a fee was involved.
Great Medical Center and great Doctors!!! Easy to get to.The staff at thr front desk are polite and very helpful., this also includes thes Lab they are great as well
I went in for an X-ray, it took less then 15 mins and the staff were friendly.
CLINIC FROM HELL. I used to go to this clinic often because it was close to home. I do not have a family dr. And so I put my wellbeing and health in the hands of the few that work here in this hell hole. No one likes hospitals, but I was dealing with a throat infection for the better part of 2 months without a proper diagnoses. After being given antibiotics and blood tests from 3 different Dr's the last one i saw yesterday said "i don't know whats wrong with you, im sorry" and shewed me out of her office after waiting for 5 hrs to see her. Im currently sitting in the Clinic on the corner of Guy and Sherbrooke, hoping for a better answer. I cant describe the feeling when a professional who deals with your health, says they give up on you..
The worst clinic in Montreal and I don’t know why Québec sante doesn’t do anything about this place or does not check them, They are rude and not responsible and they think they work in NASA
I'm just shocked by the doctors of this clinic, they are complitely unprofessional; sometimes I think they are just mocking people.
not a place for vulnerable sick people.
I called and asked if they handle CCST cases and they told me yes. I went the next morning, waited one hour to register only to find out that they don't!
(Translated) I called the hospital and a receptionist answered me, I asked to have an appointment for a nutritionist and she said nothing and transferred to another receptionist at the walk-in clinic. I ask her to make an appointment and she tells me that "this is not where we make an appointment for that". I ask her for the number or to have me transferred again, but I reply "I don't have the number ma'am" in a stupid tone and scraped the line in my face. This is unacceptable. I call back and another receptionist answers me and she gives me the number as soon as I ask her nicely. I call the right number and surprise another dumb receptionist and I am given no choice on the date. I'm given a date and time and that's it! Oh and my date is TWO MONTHS away. I sincerely think that I am getting back on the list for another hospital because the service is unacceptable. The only bright spot is my doctor Dr. Mortezai who is a rare find.
Rude receptionist at the specialist clinic. Mocks you in-front of everyone.
Saw Dr. Jamieson Clark (#04168) at the walk-in clinic. He is extremely aggressive and abusive. Even the student doctor was scared and shocked by his outbursts. Look him up on Rate my M.D. (originally from Vancouver) - he has a pattern of dark, manic, angry behavior with patients. I would like to know how it is that he remains employed, as I read that there are several complaints against him at the Collège des médecins.
Theoretically, I have a family doctor here. In reality, I have nothing. I have been trying to see her since May 2017. It is impossible to reach a human at the telephone number. I leave messages, no one returns them. Now the latest is I've been getting a busy tone. A busy tone...in 2017. They simply do not answer the phone nor return calls. I managed to finally get an appointment for September in August. The day of the appointment I got a call from the receptionist saying they had to cancel! It has been 6 months and I am unable to make human contact. No on cares and it is impossible to get an appointment. As for the walk in clinic, I've gone several times, its usually a wait of 4-6 hours, with no updates or timeline given.
A good clean center, a very friendly staff. Our appointment was on Sunday so we didn't have a long waiting time . You have to be lucky to find a street parking , try the parallel streets There is a 2 hours free parking Indigo parking lot is on front of the center, and you can find a spot there
I don't think it's the staff's fault, the place actually looks understaffed. Still, not pointing out an issue won't make it go away. I arrived at 7:20AM in a Tuesday and left 11:30AM. Got a 2-3 minute examination and a x-ray. All just to be told to get Advil. Before someone points out "if it wasn't serious, why did you go?", I did call 811 the day before and they told me to go. Conflicting info from both parties.
Unorganized and rude staff working at the reception. Only good thing about this clinic is that it offers the option to pay $4.00 + tx in order to leave the clinic and receive notifications as to when your turn will be coming up. and even after that, be prepared to wait another hour or two. If you can, I would suggest you go somewhere else!
Unreliable for musculoskeletal issues. Went there a couple times and doctors seemed content with simply prescribing meds while not even attempting basic shoulder tests. Tried the meds then went back for follow up. 2nd time was simply told to go to some physio center. No attempt at a diagnoses. When I specifically asked the Dr. "Yes, but how do I get a diagnoses so that the physio knows how to treat me?" the Dr. looked at me blankly, shrugged her shoulders and handed me some printouts. Useless... My medicare doesn't even provide me the service of a diagnoses anymore.
(Translated) Bad customer service. (Original) Mauvaise service à la clientèle.
Wonderful, supportive women nurses and doctors who were very kind, helpful and sympathetic to women's issues, can't thank you enough.
Good
After reading all the reviews I was very skeptical about going there but it turned out much better than expected. Walked in on a Saturday at 10am and the place was empty. The nurse was super friendly and we were joking around. It took about 10min before they started taking my x-ray. The only negative thing was the comment the guy made that took my x-ray, saying 'it's too late for that' after wishing him a good day while leaving. :p Overall I went in and out in half an hour and got my chest X-ray done so I can't complain!
Rude staff.
Fast and friendly walk-in clinic. They also have an app to check-in and track your number.
We went there on a weekend for my daughter, the waiting is about an hour , the nurse assessed my daughter really well and the Doctor was so nice and good with kids . I would recommend this place for walk in and sans rdv appointments
I went for a chest xray on Friday. Didnt wait long. That was great. But once the nurse called my name to come change...I was not impressed. I am sick. All week...lack of sleep...and when she told me to change from the waste up...I repeated to make sure I understood and she repeated in a slow very demeaning manner syllable by syllable like I was a complet idiot. And also asked me to tie my hair up higher. I changed and forgot to put up my hair. I sat in the hallway with a few other ptes. She comes out with another nurse and says to her coworker, loud and clear for all to hear..." You see that lady down there. I asked her to put up her hair..and you she didnt do it" As other ptes turned to look...I was the only lady there with my hair not tied up. Bravo on being discreet lady. I shut my mouth and fixed my hair....once she called me for my xray...asked me questions...laughed at my answer..then continued to give me the third degree on smoking. I couldnt wait to get out. I ask her co worker her name and I was told Bonnie. Shes an older..short lady. Frizzy dark hair. A bit of a limp in her walk. Rude and no compassion no clue on how to treat people...not discreet....Shes like an adult bully!! Shes needs to be educated on how to deal with ptes. Perhaps its time she retire. Clearly missing the patients to deal with people. I only wish I had the curage to tell her to her face. I never felt so uncomfortable before. Thanks
Awful. I’ve been on the line for an hour trying to get someone to take an appointment with my family doctor. No one is answering. I tried their online portal and there was no confirmation that my appointment had been registered. This is the worst clinic by far and a huge downgrade from Opus C’onic Where my doctor used to be.
This Clinique offer the worse service. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. And don’t bring the excuse that their job is difficult. If you work in healthcare you know what you have signed for. I would like somebody to get in touch with me because I would like to file a formal complaint against one of the staffs there.
The nurse was super efficient and friendly but the doctor was terrible. Spent five minutes with me, prescribed antibiotics when she should have sent me straight to the hospital. Do not recommend attending the walk in clinic here on a Sunday.
I keep calling this place for whole day, like 20 times, and it always goes to voice message, that says if I leave a message, they will call me back. Which is not happening. I don’t know how I can even make an appointment. I’m calling this hospital only because Jewish hospital told me it’s the only hospital that does the certain kind of operation.
I have lived in NDG for 10 years now and this is my emergency clinic. Yes, the wait can be long, but as another person stated, this clinic has excellent opening hours and the doctors do see a large volume of patients. The nurses and doctors are very good. The reception staff can be a little cold at times but they are not unprofessional. I am happy we have this clinic in our neighbourhood.
NOTE: It depends of who is the doctor you see... What is bad: - Once, I went on my appointment day and the doctor was in vacation. - Waiting about 4 hours for less than 5 min consultation. (although I do understand, when nothing is given after that wait.. no result, it's a disappointment) - No medication prescription given for high blood pressure. Over 140 and while the previous doctor and media said it will be risky to stop medication. The client was on medication and ran out, so came back for more. Nope. It's suppose to be normal to be this high at that age (said the doctor. Maybe but it was said to be a high blood pressure. The client already got stroke before and it was explained.) so come back after 6 months with a record.... Today the client heart race is risen up to 180 :( Needs to go hospital for medication. - The client explained the situation, and the doctor didn't wanted to believe. Later, after an X-ray, the doctor did see what the client was having. (not enough trust given by the doctor) What is good: - The doctors are most of the time kind and gentle. :) - Takes X-ray scan. - They do give a proper follow-up (depends who is the doctor) - Give prescription that can help. Conclusion: I would go back if I need to. But only if it is worth waiting 4 hours.
Excellent experience. Arrived at 10:30 on Saturday. Nurse saw me after 5 minutes. I then paid five dollars and registered to their notification system. I left the clinic and went about my day. Later in the afternoon around 5pm got notified by text message that there are two patients ahead of me. I headed to the clinic and was examined by the doctor. Done.
I only went because of a condition that once you've had once, is easy to have again in your life. I've had it a few times, and knew immediately what it was, so I simply needed a prescription antibiotic to treat it. Still, I was willing to provide the bio-proof, and here's where it begins. I was told to take my urine sample in the waiting room bathroom. There's only one. I went in, locked the door, and, while taking my sample, I hear a knock. I say loudly, "Someone's in here!" and hear no reply, so I continue trying to take my sample. Then, suddenly, I hear the DOOR UNLOCKING. Someone was just barging in anyway! I yelled at him to get out and he did. My guess is it was some aloof janitor, but it still felt horrible to sit in the waiting room just holding my pee cup with all the other patients looking at me, knowing what just happened. Everything else went alright, the clerk was nice and all, but the doc was patronizing, and talked down to me as if I didn't understand my own symptoms or what I had. Aside from that, the place looks like it could use some updating. On the plus side, I arrived later in the day and was worried if they'd have room or time to see me at all. But they did, and I was in and out pretty fast, so I'm grateful for that.
I usually go to a different clinic but couldn’t get a last minute appointment and came here instead. This clinic has always been my last resort and it will stay that way or I may never return. The front desk support is quite rude. What customer service?! The facility is old and dirty! For a place that’s suppose to be a health facility it shows not much care goes into it. Makes you feel like you’ll be leaving more sick than you came in. I would just stay away and if you really need urgent care seek elsewhere to go.
Friendly staffs and good doctors ...
Waited 6 hours and had to leave. Staff was nice but this system is terrible.
I went to this hospital on July 17 because I don't have a family doctor. 2 persons with small health problems were admitted before me. When it was my turn, the person who talked to me coud hardly speak French. Even so, I explained my health problem in French and then he refused to receive me. He just gave me a card with a website url and told "Prenez rdv en ligne". The hospîtal was empty, with just medical doctors and nurses in the building so I wanted to take an appointment in that hospital and he told me " faites le en ligne". If you are a French speaker, find another clinic !
Possibly the worst receptionists ever, all miserable and very mean. No smiles anywhere, this clinic won’t be around for much longer with this type of service. If i could give 0 stars I would
Just a warning, if you want any kind of decent care, go anywhere but this dirty hole. I was shuffled to this dingy excuse for a clinic from the Glen Site because I wasn't considered a priority. I had a triage referral, waited maybe 25 or 35 minutes to see the intake nurse, was told to give urine but not blood. I would assume that someone who's been bleeding for almost 3 weeks straight would need their blood iron levels to be checked, no? Waited another 40 mins or so to see the doctor, Dr. Clark (?) apparently, younger Asian guy, fairly tall. Spoke to me maybe 30 seconds before asking me to lay on the table to prod my stomach a bit, ignoring that I was wincing in pain each time. Didn't bother to press the stethoscope to my chest or back for 3 or more seconds. Cut me off mid sentence every second sentence. I asked if it was possible to write me a prescription for a new birth control, and he argued that I shouldn't be changing and just to wait it out, this wasn't that bad and I don't have to worry. Info Sante told me 2 weeks of pain, lightheaded-ness, and exhaustion warrants a hospital visit, and I trust their judgement since the nurse actually heard me out instead of being as rude and dismissive as possible. I was told they have a women's clinic there as well but I shouldn't try to see anyone there yet and just wait maybe 3 or 4 months. I tried to tell the doctor my family doctor is too far away for me to see more than once every 6 months, if that, when I should be seeing him more often for other ongoing issues and the doctor walked out of the room as I was speaking. I was left for 5 minutes, he walked back in with the prescription he had just refused to write me (????). When I asked about the women's clinic he just repeated that I should see my family doctor while opening the door to the room. I started to ask if they needed to take blood or if I needed to wait for the results of my urine test and he walked away again, this time for good. Dr. Clark or however you spell it is clearly in the wrong profession if this is how he intends to treat his patients. Building is disgusting with the ceiling tiles literally taped together to keep them from falling in and the walls covered in dirty marks, splashes, handprints.
It is a long wait but I get the best care here
I met one of the doctors in emergency for two times, I can’t believe how rude and nervous a doctor can be!!! He is not willing to answer any questions, reacting so rude. I told him I have a question. He said you are talking inappropriately , I asked why? He answered: You have to say can I ask a question please? Or do you have time to answer my question please? I said good bye and leave ????????????
I have never seen such rude staffs in the administration. I speak to a staff and she was unable to provide me information for blood test. She tried to get rid of my call. I had to insist and she passed me on to her boss. The boss is even more rude. She gave you information that you didnt even ask for. She doesnt listen to the question, and disconnected the phone on my face. They have no human touch or notion of how to talk to people. These staffs like this in administration are portraying very bad image of the clinic whereas all the I have met there, are understanding, polite and answer you questions patiently. I felt insulted and slapped on face how the administration staff was rude, disconnected on my face without letting me speak! Please train them how to speak to humans!
one receptionist was rude. Though, friendly Doctor
I was recently assigned a family doctor downtown (where i live, which was perfect as the clinic was a fifteen minutes from my place). Unfortunately, after a few months, my brand new doctor transferred to this Queen Elizabeth, which is much further and rather inconvenient for me to get to (when you're sick, the last thing you want to do is spend 30-45 minutes in the public transit system). However, I figured I'd make do with it until I tried calling the place to ask a simple question. Over the course of three days of trying, I spent at least 90 minutes on hold. Twice, I managed to talk to a rather rude receptionist and left her a message with my question. I was told I would be called back the next day. I was not. I tried calling repeatedly, to no avail. I reached out to the administration (after making a complaint on the Complex's Facebook page) to inquire about the quasi impossibility to communicate with the reception. I never heard back from them either, in spite of being told by the person who replied to me on Facebook that they take complaints "very seriously". Clearly, this person needs to look up the term "seriously". That same person suggested I try getting in touch with them online, which I did. But guess what? When I clicked on the "contact us" tab, I was taken to a map. I tried over a bunch more times thinking this was maybe a bug; it's not. It seems this place doesn't have an email address. So there you have it. A "clinic" that you can't communicate with, either on the phone, or online. In 2018, this makes no sense whatsoever. The only good thing about this place is the person in charge of responding to the online complaints: they're very fast, and very apologetic. I guess I'll go back on the waiting list for a new family doctor as I do not want anything to do with this poor excuse for a "clinic".
Especially, don't use the Patient in line service they promote. They charge you monthly and you will never be able to unsubscribe.
From the receptionists to the doctor everyone was very unprofessional. After dealing with the rude triage nurse, the doctor looked me over for 2 minutes and claimed she was 100% sure that I had strep. I told her my throat was not sore at all and she said there was a strep going around without sore throat and prescribed me antibiotics to take immediately since the strep test results wouldn't be in for 2 days. 2 days later I called the clinic to be told that the results were not in, then later that they were in but not processed, then again later that they were not in. When i questioned the mixed information, and why the results were not in after 2 days like promised, I was shouted at and hung up on. 3 days later I get a call and the results came back negative, so I should stop taking the antibiotics immediately.
THIS IS FOR THE URGENT CARE CLINIC. I wish I could rate this place a -5 I waited for 6 hours yesterday in the walk-in urgent care clinic only to be rushed through a pointless exam by a condescending doctor who told me to exercise more to heal "ligament problems" in my foot, as he so aptly put it. He barely spent 30 seconds examining me and just said, "you'll be fine", based off of what exactly, and left. No background, no questions, no bedside manner.. nothing. He did not care at all. Not only was I rushed through and NOT examined, but the waiting room was full of distraught people and rightly so, as their "number" system was malfunctioning so no one knew what number they were on. As frustrated patients calmly walked over to the receptionist and tried to explain that there was no number showing anywhere, they were greeted with an extremely rude "it's on the screen, calm down and go sit down!". Well there was no number, it was being blocked by a dialogue box on their computers that they couldn't fix on their own. Once they realized their mistake, do you think they apologized? Nope. Did they bother to update the patients on the number being currently served. Nope. Instead they went and hid in their glassed in cubicle and put up neon signs that said "no more patients today". Next to the aggressive sign that read "WE DON'T KNOW THE WAIT TIMES SO DON'T ASK US" Finally, the waiting room was DISGUSTING. There was no soap in the ladies bathroom, the chairs, floor, children's toys and bathrooms were all covered in filth and grime. Come on guys... A hospital that doesn't have soap in the bathrooms? A hospital that treats its patients like second class citizens? A hospital with super rude and aggressive receptionists? A hospital with only ONE DOCTOR ON STAFF. What a monumental disappointment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. (Oh and parking is 16$) *as you can see by the reply below, blaming the patient for their own downfalls seems to be the way they want to play this. 1. it was an emergency. Not a "pre-existing" condition, and I would have appreciated more than a 30 second check-up. It turns out I had a fractured ankle. 2. you did not address the case of the rude staff. 3. there is no excuse for unsanitary conditions in a clinic or hospital. 4. This was my closest clinic, so I went there. Do not tell me I shouldn't have come, that is appalling. 5. you did not address the fact that the ENTIRE waiting room was frustrated with the staff who refused to give a simple update on the number being served. Just that would have brightened all of our experiences. 6. 2.9 stars says it all, and most of the reviews are for the urgent-care clinic. Maybe they should address the complaints and take them seriously. thanks and have a good day. I will take your advice and find a different location to be treated in the future since it is clear by your response that patients should choose elsewhere.
The Triage person is really rude to me, pretty much every time I go. It's stressful to deal with....
Second time here - as bad as the last. They need more doctors. Staff generally seems to be overwhelmed and I think that contributes to a curt, dismissive, and unhelpful atmosphere from the doctors, nurses, and receptionists. Been waiting 3 hours having arrived exactly when it opened at 8am. So disappointed I actually decided to write my first review :P
The receptionists are always unprofessional. The doctors don’t seem to want to help and just speed through the consultation to get on with the next patient. Don’t waste your time coming here.
Nothing negative yo say. The people were atentive and professional. It did not wait for my Ray-X. I had no apoitment but in 30 min everything was done.
So dissapointed with the walk in clinic. I went an asked for help on a couple things that ive been putting off for awhile because the issues have gotten bigger and lo g story short I got told the x-ray didnt give them any indication and I wasted my whole day to be told to take tylenol. I want to heal not just take Tylenol for the rest of my life. When I wake up with my wrist throbbing I just remember that stubby old sad excuse for a doctor and how little she helped me and how she deserves her job even less (long, silver/blonde hair, maybe 50 yrs old, around 5'2") i told my girlfriend about her and she got the same lackluster service a couple years back so this review is mostly to warn you about her , generally to warn you about the lack of professionalism at this establishment.
I would say avoid the walk-in clinic but the reality is if you're going there you don't have much choice. I've actually been going to this place for a while since they closed down the Reddy Memorial. Yeah. Long time. I don't like the long wait times but normally the doctors would at least show some professionalism. Dr. Tong's go to medical advice is "go see your family doctor." I agree in some cases patients go there when it's not an emergency. However, she seems to say that to most everyone and expects them to diagnose themselves. I know this because she's loud and doesn't care who's listening. She doesn't seem to understand that most people that go there don't have family doctors and if they could wait a few months for an appointment, they undoubtedly would if the other option is to see her, which is certainly my case. My situation was an emergency and I did not wait 3 hours from 7:30 in the morning to be met with an incredibly rude, irritable and impatient doctor who just finished yelling at a previous patient. Still annoyed, she rushed through an angry 1 min pelvic exam. Not the most fun considering you're laid out on your back with your legs in the air. She ended the traumatic experience with "I don't know" when she clearly meant "I don't care." Should not be working with patients.
After 1&1/2 hours for waiting time even I had appointment, finally I saw doctor. He seems to know nothing. I understand many bad reviews about this hospital because all staff are very aggressive, they act more like the staff at a Dépanneur.
Very experienced staff and very friendly.
Friendly staff but I got here at 10am, registered for the alarm service, they let me know 2 people were ahead of me at 1:36pm, it is now 3:10 and I have yet to see a doctor. I’m with my 3 year old son who’s been anxious to see a doctor and I’m running out of energy and patience. ADDITIONALLY: They NEVER suggested that we go elsewhere and it turns out they only had 1 doctor on call. My 3 year old and I would have went elsewhere instead of waiting 6 hours to see someone. I paid for their alerting service for NOTHING because I still waited 2 hours after my final alert. Also, turns out not everyone is friendly there. I expressed that my son and I had been waiting for an extensive amount of time and I was met with “be a patient patient” in the most smug manner. Then the doctor finally sees us. When she returns with his prescription, I was on the phone and told my mother to hold on, by the time I said that the doctor walked away from me (WITHOUT explanation). I then understood she went to check test results and came back but still... Awful service. (Except for this one SUPER sweet nurse, she was of a deep brown skin complection, in hopes that she doesn’t get in any mess over this)

I went today and took a day off of work to get diagnosed on my foot and why im in so much pain that i can't even walk on it at all. It's stopping me from performing my job properly. I tried to show him where on my foot it hurt and he barely touched my foot and diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. I asked if i should give my feet a rest, stay off my feet and explained to him that i average 10,000 steps a day at work and he told me it wont make it worse to walk. I told him that i can hardly walk and he didnt reply, he didnt even say bye, just walked out and that was it. I stayed in the room for a couple minutes to see if he would return, nothing!. Ive asked others who had this and all their DRs told them to stay off their feet as much as possible. I lost a day at work and now have to go get a second opinion. Never again!
WARNING TO ANYONE wanting to go to this place. Most of the staff are awful and rude, will make it difficult for you to transfer your files to other clinic, and loose your medical file and CONSTANTLY lie and have a doctor appear drunk and spoke in MUMBLES. Not fun 6 month follow up on a shoulder injury that never recovered. NEVER RECEIVED MRI scan even though they claim they requested one, They Lost my follow up document (HOW!?!), non professional check up and incoherent write up for cnesst! and when i start to transfer my check up to another clinic they they screwed with my paper out of spite and made it difficult for the next clinic and slow their procedure down, in what i could have had instantly took 2 more weeks to get access to the services for the next clinic. Even had referenced to the Urgence Physio (private company) Downstairs and got physios and ergo. The ergo therapist seem nice enough but the main problems was one of the phone operators and the physio therapist. The problem with the phone operator (think it was the owner of the Private business) . I had to cancel an appointment AT THEIR DESK one day before the appointed time . their was other urgent matter need tending, but i get a rude awkening call in the morning yelling "YOU MISSED THE APPOINTMENT YOUR RUINING OUR BUSINESS" and " we can easily replace you with someone else" and " If you don't come to this this is going to look bad on your Cnesst." Their not nice. The physiotherapist start out nice when their job is easy, If they know it's it's not getting better they start to tell you story about cases where "Cnesst stop supporting a person be cause short oversold her injury" and like other stuff to discourage people in saying what they truly felt. I have A doctor write up for depression in the new clinic just because of my experience dealing with this awful clinic which took me awhile to even figured out i had. So yea.
Very fast and the doctors were nice but the secretaries are terrible, one of them was really rude and she yells at people instead of talking.
Just horrible, if you are sick don't get there anyway, acording to what I have seen this hospital is not clean and passion consuming. Be aware.
Unorganized and unprofessional people at the reception !
Incompetent, unprofessional, and rude nurses on the phone. I had a similar experience to one of the other patients who had made a review. The audacity to ask if I had receive the Covid vaccination and the REASON for it. That is a PERSONAL QUESTION. You DO NOT ask someone if they had received it or not. Beware of this place!!! They seem to only care if you have or have had Covid- nothing else. Unbelievable!
Receptionist very rude. Administrative staff careless.
(Translated) Very well (Original) Très bien
Was 10 minutes early for appointment and waited 3 hours to see optomolgist. Also, the place is very dirty.
Takes longer time than usual. Well mannered and good service.
I’ve never seen such lack of empathy towards patients. One of the nurses was rude and also ironic, absolutely no need to treat people like this. Another one “recommended” me that I should personally strangulate the minister of Health (what…?). I’m a health care professional and I’m really impressed how they do not care about one’s health and well-being. Why working in this sector if you lack respect for people, especially when they are most vulnerable?
Receptionist with blond hair at the emergency walk-in clinic very rude! I understand you are busy, but your rudeness won't make your job go faster!!!! But overall, very good clinic and health professionals!
I don't understand why the patient still were waiting outside and all these doctors like standing around did nothing, thanks for this excellent medical system, you need to wait over 6 hours for just treat a flu
Some of the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. I called and spoke to a doctor who approved me to come in for the very simple procedure of having my ring cut off. I waited an hour in the exam room even though I was seemingly the only person there. I listened while the staff chatted and gossiped for an hour before finally asking how long it was going to be. After I asked, someone finally came in which gave me the impression I had been forgotten about. The nurse that came in (a middle-aged Black man who never introduced himself by name) had some of the worst beside manner I've ever experienced. He made one cut in the ring, made a weak attempt to pry it off, and then told me I would have to remove it myself. (Hey genius, if I could remove it myself, I wouldn't be here!) I kindly suggested he cut the ring again so it would be in two pieces and fall off. He then snarkily asked what I was going to do with the ring broken in two pieces. When I responded that the jeweller had assured me they could put it back together, his response was "oh, but they couldn't cut it off?" When I told him they weren't allowed to due to COVID-19, he responded "Oh, but we can?" I told him to take it up with the doctor who approved me to come in, to which he had no response. When he finally got the ring off, I was bleeding. He made no move to clean the wound and told me to leave. Needless to say, I will not be back.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Unacceptable service by receptionists through phone. Terribly rude
The best Healthcare center in Montreal. Good staff, good doctors. The walk in clinic is very well run and processes an incredible number of patients on a daily basis with limited resources and funding. Sadly this is also an indictment of the poor state of Healthcare in Montreal. With no available doctors, that catastrophe that is the Super Hospital and the inefficient CLSC system the province needs more places like this that provide good old fashioned Healthcare.
I suffer from GAD and depression. This center "forgot" to fax over my prescription to the pharmacist for renewal and dose increase. They not only deny responsibility, they told me to go back to Info-Santé, schedule a new appointment with a doctor, so that I can get a revised renewal. In the meantime I run out of medication tonight. You would think the center would have a greater sensitivity and avoid provoking anxious states in those that can least afford it.
I have been reluctant to.go anywhere else than my doctor's office regardless how I felt. It's Sunday morning. Wondering if I should wait until tomorrow or go to a clinic for congestion that has kept me up for 2 nights. Went to the Queen Elizabeth. From start to finish everyone was friendly and efficient. Dr. Jenny Wu was thorough gave me a barrage of tests and xrays and diagnosed bronchitis. She took the time to sit and explain all her findings and what I should do to follow up. I was in and out in 2.5 hours with a prescription. Thank you to Dr. Jenny Wu and her team. I was quite impressed with the courtesy and professionalism I experienced.
(Translated) Very cold medical staff, no empathy and poor customer service. The doctor who saw me is Christina. She treats clients in a very cold manner and is super insolent, does the consultations in 1 minute and gives no advice. Her empathy is not present, she represents very badly the type of service you claim to offer. Having worked in the medical field, I can say that your customer service is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place to anyone, if I could put -5 stars, I would without hesitation.
Took six months to make a copy of my charts. OMG! I called them a ridiculous amount of times. Sometimes spoke to someone, sometimes left a message and no one would call back. Also tried sending them multiple faxes. Tried email too but they are not there yet. I don't believe people are that busy or forgetful... I do not recommend the QEHC.
Second time going here. Never again. First time, absolutely refused to give me a simple prescription, ended up going to another clinic in saint Michel where my prescription was given instantly. Second time. Doctor was so sure it was strep throat that she didn’t need to do the swab test. Turns out it wasn’t strep, took meds for nothing, got very sick and had to return to the hospital two more times (Royal Vic) to finally get treated. Over confident, not professional. Ps paid for the text your position in line. No change in position for 4 hrs, get all three messages within 10 minutes that I am 7th, 5th, 2nd in line. Waste of time, rather go to the east end
I would like to start by saying that I am a health care professional and I would not imagine treating anyone the way I have been treated at this place. I came to do an endovaginal ultrasound, which is in itself an uncomfortable procedure. I was greeted by the staff with a "Yes?" They looked like they hate their existence, the receptionist was literally talking to someone and saying that she is "sick of all this". They asked me to drink 1L of water before the procedure, which I did, but they were over 1h late and I tortured myself holding it in, worrying about peeing myself. I was finally called by the technician and accepted to have the resident assist him as I support learning. Worst mistake. She treated me like an object, commenting on the ultrasound, at some point shouting a diagnosis "It's clearly THIS, IT'S CLEARLY THAT". I was laying their uncomfortable, feeling like an experiment, holding my tears. When the ultrasound was done, I asked her to clarify what she was seeing and told her that I am a nurse. She looked surprised and immediately uncomfortable. Refused to give me more information as she said she is just a resident and kept looking at the technician for support. I am truly disappointed with how much she lacked professionalism and how this technician didn't intervene. I might be an interesting "case" for her, but health care employees need to remember that they are there to help people. I came out of there crying, with a possible diagnosis I had no information on and no resources for.
I am sorry to say that. If something happened to any take your bed with you because you are gonna wait all your live and in the last you get a doctor which gonna say to you, ok then ok then ok and another appointment. Which break in your body will never back by this situation.
My shingles with severe headaches came back after five months after being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Health Centre. I phoned today, October 4, 2021 and I told them that I had to have a renewal prescription or I need to see a doctor as soon as possible. I was screamed at over and over again that I had to go to a clinic near me. I told them that I have been going to them for years and it is close for me. I cannot get an emergency appointment in Brossard. The lady continued to scream at me saying that this is what the government wants. My file has been there for over 15 years and suddenly I cannot go or have a doctor phone me. My severe headaches continue.
Some of the women at the reception in the family clinic need to just stop being rude and treating patients like an inconvenience. We pay taxes so we have access to care. Have the grace to facilitate that access with compassion for those who suffer.
Good by all means Building is old Staff are nice
The receptions are horrible, they need to retire. Everytime I had a concern they would yell at me to sit down. I'd much rather drop dead than visit this awful clinic again. Please hire people who actually care about the well weing of others and not two old bags who are wasting their time and everyone elsese.
I was assigned a family doctor in a clinic in downtown, there I could make an appointment just by making a call, straightforward. My family doctor is now moved to this horrible clinic. There is absolutely no way to make an appointment with my doctor. Whenever I call, no matter what time of the day, they keep me holding for a few minutes and then my call is transferred to voice message. Unable to talk to a real person. Trying to book an appointment online, there is no available appointments, I don't understand what it means, no available appointment even in a month or so? This is the worst clinic in Montreal, I have to change my family doctor!
Very disrespectful staff, horrible service, horrible clinic. Never go.
(Translated) Very good health complex especially in family medicine! (Original) Très bon complexe de santé surtout en médecine familiale !
3 hours of my life wasted. Made it to triage and couldn't bear to wait any longer. What's the point of having clinics if the wait is as long as emergency
My family doctor is wonderful. Family Clinic. The reception staff is another story, although one older lady is quite nice. There used to be a young black girl there who seemed to care more about her appearance than helping. She is horrible at reception. Look at the family clinic picture of the 2 young receptionists. The one on the right is her and the other isn't much better.
For 5 years they have been the worse staff I have ever met always in a rush and very rude including the doctors with their holy then anyone attitude. If you want to be in health care please realize you are there to help people not demoralize them.
(Translated) Total incompetence! I had a phone appointment at 3:00 p.m. and the doctor never called me. The next day the receptionist told me, the doctor called you at 3:15 p.m. and you didn't take the call. I know it's impossible, I waited for the call until 9:00 p.m. and I got the caller ID ... so the doctor was paid for a consultation he never did, c 'unacceptable.
Be aware of rude nurses at urgent clinic specifically a nurse named "Helen". Not only they are rude, they will also yell and try to act like they are the boss , i think they are taking out frustration of not being able to become doctors from the patients. Feeling sorry for them thats for sure. Avoid this hospital/joke at all costs.
I have visited the health centre many times over the years and have always been pleased with the service. The triage nurse today was wonderful and Dr Clark was terrific. The wait was not long and I was in and out with pain meds and advice to ice in no time.
If Queen Elizabeth II came to this place to see a doctor she would have already sent the administrators to the Tower of London to be beheaded. I took my father to the emergency room on a Sunday morning, the room was packed and they had only one doctor on duty, we waited for 4 hours to see a doctor, my father was vomiting in the bathroom, and we decided to go home without seeing the doctor, my dad probably had a virus or something and it cleared off the next day... come at your own risk
Great service with the nurse and doctor Kudrina but horrible service with receptionist Condescending, arrogant, rude, accusatory, using threats, This is not a professional work etiquette at any standard.
(Translated) Complete incompetence and very bad experience every time I go, the doctors don't even give the time to explain to you that they treat you like you come to beg. They don't even call you to give you the test results and when you call they tell you that if they don't call you it's because you have nothing and when I went to check it turned out that in the analysis they did not come out with nothing as they say.
(Translated) A hospital center where nobody knows anything. I ask several people or clinics on the ground floor and nobody knows anything. The two receptionists at the emergency clinic on the ground floor are stupid, unpleasant, answered me as if I were disturbing them in their discussion. I politely ask "excuse me, I'm looking for information." They answer me "take a number ... it's not here ... I'm looking elsewhere" ... old naughty ... After that there are signs saying not to insult the receptionists. They cannot welcome or respond to customers.
The indian doctor was incredibly rude and condescending. Do not go here! They will not help
My mom went in at 10 am, 8 hours later (not their fault as the place was packed) she finally saw the doctor and she was so incompetent, it's scary. She kept joking she'll check with Dr.Google everytime my mom asked a question and then she'd check the computer and say "hmmm, well it doesn't say, so I don't think so". That was her answer to all the questions. Yes she was young, and maybe this was her first solo run, but how is this person allowed to treat people? All this time waiting for her to google stuff.
finally i successfully booked an appointment with the super clinic the address is 2111 avenue northcliffe. i been asked to write down my personal information, and i did as being told. then the rude and bad-memory receptionist told me i need also write the name of pharmacy. i told her i dont have any specific pharmacy, and she get angry, keeping say" which pharmacy is near your house" i answered "i dont know", and i have no idea what its for and she dont bother to explain to me, then she probably search using her own system, and said"xxx pharmacy near you?" , (execcuse me? i already told her i dont know any pharmacy particularly, normally i just passed by the pharmacy near hospital or clinic i just visited, its completely random"), so i said i dont know, she got more angry and impatient, then i said, just choose whichever you just found, i dont mind".(why should i mind? btw? i still dont know what it for until that moment), then she use a very rude and descending tone said"go sit and wait". and then when i been called by nurse , i asked why i been forced to know something i dont know( the pharmacy close to me), the nurse clearly just same kind of rude people as others. and keep saying, "why u angry for this?", i said, i am not angry, i just dont understand why its a big deal and why its become my fault that i dont know the pharmacy near my house. " This nurse said "you should use google search a pharmacy near you and then give the name to the receptionist",(Hello, who told you i have data with my phone? and if this is just for fax the prescription of doctor which it's unnessary for me, coz i can just bring the paper prescription to any pharmacy i will pass by later to get my medication, btw. i got the paper prescription from the doctor after). Anyway, long story short, bunch of rude and rigid mind ladies work in the receptionist , that's a shame, lots of caring kind people can replace them easily . i dont understand how they not been fired by acting super rude and condescending.
Worse place ever; I had a severe injury, first radiology people where very nice (only good point) but after they gave me my radiology on a CD that computer nowadays can't read... I really needed to see my radio so I came back but they just didn't care they just left me with a CD no one can read. Then I had to go to the emergency care; I came and the guy just yelled at me for no reason because I wanted to sit while waiting cause I was in pain but he did not care; Then even though I was crying because I was exhausted with all the pain and everything I had to wait 45 minutes in a small room for the doctor without anyone telling me what was going on; Ice and the cake, I ask for a certificate which they gave to me, and then the lady ask me for 20$ withtout telling me before...I'll never go back to that place for sure!
I went to the Walk in Clinic this am an had the worst experience of my life. I arrived at 6:30 am to get an early spot as I was in great pain. The doctor, at first was ok, but he asked me to get up on the table to be examined and put the small stool in front of the table. Now I am 72 yrs old and I have tremors so I am very shaky and there was nothing to hold on to so I told him that I couldn't get up. He answered quite abruptly "I can't help you. You need to exercise" I felt humiliated by his lack of empathy and never has a doctor refused to offer a hand to steady me to step up. I told him he'd have to examine my shoulder while I was standing. I explained that I have been in pain going on 4 months and would need a cortisone shot like I had been given in the past. He tested my movement of my arm and said I will write a prescription for physiotherapy. Since I had been doing physio exercises (from the internet on YouTube)already for over 2 months and the problem persisted. I felt that this wasn't an ideal solution so I put my coat on and started to leave saying that I didn't want more physio. Also I am a senior on a limited budget and physiotherapy is very expensive and beyond my means. At that point he started raising his voice loudly saying "Are you DEMANDING that I treat you" I started walking out and he rudely repeated his question. As I was in pain and wanted to get out of there I told him that he was ignorant and I left. He followed me into the hall again yelling his accusation to me . He said he was my doctors boss and he was going to report my behaviour to my family doctor. This I took as a threat. What was he going to do as the overseer of my doctor.....thwart me any time I went to my doctor for a consultation!! I turned to him and asked and to whom can I report YOUR behaviour. I left feeling like I had been beaten up by this doctor with a God complex. His threats were uncalled for; as was the way he first approached me. I tried to contact the Doctor in charge but was given the bums rush by the lady in administration that I had called. This should fall under elder abuse because the doctor didn't seem to care to understand the situation but started insulting me right away. This is a shock to me because I love the Queen Elizabeth Health Centre and have always found them so professional and caring.
Excellent staff, very knowledgable!! The waiting time is next to nothing so I would't see myself going anywhere else unless it is a life or death emergency.
Apparently the staff n doctors are more worried about their ratings than treating the patients.
This place should be closed down. Went in a couple of days ago with my wife who had a low grade fever. She was assigned number 87, and the counter on the wall showed number 45. The receptionist told her to get a lunch because she would not be seen soon. It was 11:30 in the morning. We waited until 4:30 and the counter had only gotten to 55. when she asked at the desk how much longer, this receptionist was at least honest and told her it would be a while. Why could the first one not simply have told her that it would probably be a 4-5 hour wait, and we could have left and gone to another clinic. Disgraceful the way they treat their patients. Never again will they see me there. I gave this place 1 star since I could not give them no star, but they truly deserve being closed down.
Unorganised, rude, irresponsible staff Group of uneducated people working over there Dont have sense to talk Not picking up calls All they need is money I dont know why people still going there
There is an older lady with curly hair at the reception, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I believe she needs to be more considerate and compassionate it is a clinic not a bar! But my doctors were great!
I have been calling them on a constant basis for 3 weeks now and no answer! They don’t call you back and NEVER pick up the phone! That is totally unacceptable. Our family doctor, which is great, practices there and I just wanted to confirm a change of appointment as well as get some information on my child’s vaccination shots. I’ve been calling in the morning, in the afternoon, at lunch, during different hours EVERY SINGLE DAY and no one ever picks up the phone! I also left 2 messages and no one called back. We are in 2017, we have all the available technology to be able to answer simple phone calls. The administrative service there is absolutely awful. There is also one receptionist at the walk-in clinic, the old lady with curly hair and glasses, wow! A prison guard will give better service. She yells at you for no reason, leaves her spot, doesn’t answer simple questions. Last time we had to go to the walk in, it was faster getting to see the nurse at the triage and the doctor then registering with that receptionnist. She hates her job and makes it clear to everyone. On the other hand, the doctors and nurses we saw there so far were all very good. This clinic’s main problem is their administrative service and organization. Their medical staff is good.
The nurse in the walk-in clinic was the worst I have seen in this city. Other things were good; however, not great.
The walk in clinic nurse is very rude and unrespect,I am a student here and I got a terrible throat infection,so I cannot speck quickly,it makes the nurse yelling and angry.she tells me I am wasting her time, she is very busy. Then she went to tell the reception that do not let people who can't speak fast in the hospital.anyway, the doctor is good, but I never go there again
I went in today.....no appt.... for X-Rays ...and didn't have to wait long at all. The receptionist was sooo nice...she even complimented me on my bracelets. I recognized her as having been there for many years. I couldn't be happier with this clinic. The x-ray technician was also very reassuring and professional.
(Translated) Unable to communicate with the clinic without an appointment by phone. They put you on hold for an indefinite period (Original) Impossible de communiquer avec la clinic sans RDV par téléphone. Ils vous mettent en attente pour une durée indeterminée
No super clinic! -Would not recommend especially with cardiovascular clinic. Staff left message to set up appointment. Returned their call, had to leave message. Did not hear back. Left messages for 3 weeks. When they did call back, no appointments available and said they would call when new schedule was available. No apologies provided. Why should patients suffer for bad internal practices.
I invited a lady to my apartment today from the streets, because she was assaulted by a stranger and wanted an in-person visit to a clinic to collect bodily evidence and take a statement. The lady didn't want to go to ER for fear of 10+ hours of coronavirus exposure, and the police refused to send a cop car to take her to a police station, and so she called this clinic for help. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there are not supposed to be any in-person visits at Queen Elizabeth Health Complex, and they only take appointments. This lady called the clinic and the receptionist was incredibly rude and cruel. The lady merely wanted to know what she could do that could warrant a visit with a clinician today, and if she had other options. The clinician told the lady "not to guilt her" with her assault story and refused to help or be courteous. I did not appreciate the way the receptionist treated her, and I understand that everyone is stressed at this time because of the pandemic, but this lady was a literal victim of a crime today and did not deserve to be cast away by a person whose literal job is to assist her.
I tried to call 5 time today in a hour no one picking up and I am calling the reception. Can someone make sure the receptionist answer phone calls? I understand once or twice but 5 time in one hours there something wrong there.....
Good doctors, impossible to reach via telephone as there is no queuing system (its 2017). 2018 UPDATE: Still no improvement to their queuing system. Extremely unprofessional.
Thought this place would be horrible because of all the negative comments but I tried it out and was pleasantly surprised to find out I was in and out in three hours. It's your standard clsc, take a number and wait kind of place.
Love that place, i go there to see Dr Birdi. She is the best! Always find free parking on streets.
Got to the clinic 30 minutes early and was excited to be only the 6th in line thinking it would go smoothly. I gave my paper work and still ended up waiting over an hour, then when the receptionist called my name they told me they couldn't do my tests and I had to go elsewhere. I'm furious that they couldn't have told me this when I gave my paperwork in instead of making me way over an hour for nothing. Unacceptable!!
Thank you Quennie - clinic without appointment ! They helped me so many times when I was sick...I respect them a lot.
(Translated) Very good medical assistance. On-site imaging center, as needed. (Original) Très bonne assistance médicale. Centre d'imagerie sur place, au besoin.
Horrible. Doctor is of no help and you leave the room without any assistance and even more discouraged. You feel worst than when you walked in. At the end of his questioning and no-help the doctor leaves the room while saying "that's it", goes and hides in his office and you never see him again and then the nurses have to deal with your disbeliefs. Horrible doctor. Horrible experience. Never again.
The walk-in clinic is always packed and screams for renovation. It's quite chaotic, the table that sells hats and earnings right in the corridor always makes me smile. Overall, the wait time is extremely long, yet in Queen Elizabeth they will always see you the day you came in. Contrary to many walk-ins that would tell you ''sorry we are packed for today''. So if your goal is to get a prescription/ticket for further tests, this place is quite ok.
This is by far the worst walk-in clinic I have ever been to and I don't even know where to begin... Went with my 5 year old nephew. Right from the start, the receptionist was awful and incompetent (older woman with a very arrogant attitude). Did not listen to a word I told her. I had to tell her 3 times that I was here with my nephew and NOT with my son and that I myself did not need to see a doctor only my nephew. Shamed me for not having his medicare card on hand (had proof of medicare card with a photo and confirmation texts from both his parents) and shamed the parents for not being the ones present at the clinic. What does it matter if it's the parents or the aunt? The point is that a 5 year old child will be seen by a doctor. It doesn't matter who brings him. I'm not a stranger, he is my nephew. I'm simply bringing him to the clinic why is it so complicated? I tried to explain to her that the reason why I did not have his medicare card in my hands was because we were very rushed and that I was not planning on coming to this clinic at first but rather, a private one where the medicare card is not necessary. She could not even interact with me properly or explain anything with a minimum of respect. Waited 15 minutes just to speak to her, no one was in front of me. She was simply doing "paper work" for 15 minutes while I was waiting right in front of her. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!! The whole staff seems incompetent to be honest. I changed receptionist because I could not tolerate her foolishness. I waited 45 minutes at the reception and 3.5 hours in the waiting room and then another 40 minutes in another room for a 5 minute visit with the doctor. The employees were on their phones, texting and answering calls that had nothing to do with work, talking amongst each other about anything and everything, eating in the halls, looking like complete fools. Just a complete mess no wonder the reviews are horrible. Who is even supervising this clinic?? WE ARE PAYING FOR THIS NONSENSE THROUGH OUR TAXES!!! I am so ashamed of our public health system but especially this clinic. One doctor was complaining about private clinics to another patient, saying that she would never work at one and that she doesn't believe in that (she was also being rude to the patient she was discussing this about) but seriously, no wonder people go to private clinics? At least there you don't wait ridiculous hours, people are competent and priorities and respect are met. I am all for public clinics but NOT this one. There are far better public clinics than this one. Do not waste your time. If I could have taken a video of everything I saw that day I swear, it would have made headlines.
I don't understand all the very negative reviews about this clinic. Was the wait long? Absolutely. But where else can you find a clinic open everyday of the year and you don't need an appointment?? The nurses were very friendly and concerned. The doctor was amazing! Very thorough, professional, and really listened. My daughter got more help there today than she's had in years and we left feeling grateful. Thank you so much to all the staff, we will definitely go to this clinic again!
Horrible horrible service! I had a fever and they left me in a waiting to see a doctor and I asked for a blanket because I was shivering. The nurse LAUGHED at me and said “this is walk in clinic and not a hospital”. Inconsiderate, rude nurses. Never again!!!’
I went for an x-ray; waited for one hour and a half finally the secretary calls me and tells me to wait in a second waiting room that had at least 10 people there already! I left amd went somewhere else. I suggest that if you need an x-ray dont go there and even if you have a referral for there, take it and go somewhere else
Why is this clinic still operating ? Helen Reese the nurse is just awful. To all the elders beware. I will never ever return to this clinic. I will not rant about what they did because the truth is they didn't do ANYTHING. NO MEDS, NO SOLUTION,NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, NO EMPATHY. POOR JUST POOR. AND GOD FORBID YOU START SPEAKING FRENCH TO HELEN.
(Translated) Horrible !!!! Impossible to discuss, listen to nothing at all, answer you pre-written sentences ... (Original) Horrible !!!! Impossible de discuter, n'ecoute rien du tout, vous reponde des phrases pre ecrites...
Very upset from the service, I was referred to this clinic by the royal Victoria hospital , first while registering I saw the person working on the first computer on the right hand side while standing to register, she was watching a hockey game on her cell phone that she placed right on the desk under the screen of the computer, she was more watching the game than working. Secondly, a nurse asked me to sit and wait until they call me for evaluation, she was very rude. After being evaluated another nurse told me to register with the automated service w 4.6$ and to leave the clinic until they send me an SMS. Although I was referred to the clinic by the royal Victoria, I waited around 4 hours and didn't get any SMS. I went back to the clinic to see whats going on. The nurse was very rude telling me that my case is not urgent and that I have to wait, since 7pm yesterday till now 2h40 pm the second day. No doctors saw me between the royal Victoria hospital and the clinique queen Elizabeth. And finally I'm back to the royal Victoria, I have never seen such a bad service like this. Awful clinic
Arrived at 7:45 am and by 10:45 had not seen the doctor yet. Paid 170.00 since relative was from outside the country.
Horrible, rude, disorganized staff and departments. I waited over a year to get blood results and follow up for blood work- they never called me back for anything despite me calling constantly. Allergist 0. Walk in Clinic did not have my doctor prescriptions on file and told me i had to come back for a visit because of this. Not recommended. Good luck getting anyone knowledgeable or helpful n the phone. I would give zero stars if i could.
FOR WALK-IN CLINIC: I have been coming to this clinic for quite some time and have been usually generally satisfied with the staff I have encountered. However, my most recent visit to the clinic left my opinion of it quite tainted. As I returned to have my x-ray read by the doctor, I was seated by the secretaries besides the reception and triage room. Boy, did I witness a lot... How do you guys think it is acceptable to allow a nurse to call patients "idiots" and "nitwits"? Or to shout at patients to get out of her way and to go wait elsewhere? A few noteworthy lines were: "I don't care if she's the queen of England", "Come on, I don't have all day", "If you don't like it here, then leave". My wait beside her station was actually more painful than my injury. Professionalism? What's "professionalism"?
I used to give a five star for this place, not anymore. I went to the clinic for headaches with negative COVID test result + vaccination certificate. They just simply turned me away since headache is a symptom of COVID, even though I am clearly COVID-free (fully vaccinated + negative PCR result). This place is just using COVID as an excuse for its laziness and selfishness. It’s heart-breaking to see people use this pandemic as an excuse to cut down services. Next time I would just go to a private clinic then!
Friendly staff and very convenient location; right beside Vendome metro!
(Translated) Bad service. Wait more 1 hour and we are answered 2 things opposite with appointments and without appointment. I was out for a jog, slipped on a wet leaf & fell. I thought I sprained my ankle badly. Waited until the next morning but it was super swollen so I decided to go to the Queen E since they have an xray machine & I suspected a fracture. I called and was given an appointment. Got there, there were only 2 other people waiting. After an hour and a half the dr sent me for xrays. No one at the xray center (apparently the receptionist/technician had gone for a smoke). He comes back, does the xray. I wait another half hour & the dr gives me a prescription for a walking boot & crutches, along with pain meds. I asked him twice if it was fractured, he kept beating around the bush, not giving me an answer. He said if it doesn't get better go see your family dr. 3 days later I got the call from my dr, yes it was a fracture. The Dr at this clinic couldn't even admit that he didn't know. Don't waste your time, go to a real clinic.
HORRIBLE RECEPTION, TWO OLD LADIES WHO ARE THE MOST IMPOLITE, INSENSITIVE PEOPLE I HAVE MET MY WHOLE LIFE. THEY WOULD SCREAM AT YOUR FACE AND TREAT YOU AS YOU WERE COMING TO BEG FOR CHARITY. WHEN I WENT LAST WEEK, THERE WAS NO NUMBERS AND WE WERE ALREADY 10 PEOPLE. WE MANAGED TO KNOW EACH OTHER NUMBERS BUT GUESS WHAT, 20 PEOPLE CAME BY AND STILL NO NUMBERS AVAILABLE WHEN NUMBERS CAME IN, PEOPLE WERE JUMPING ON THEM LIKE SAVAGES AND INSTEAD OF 10TH, I WAS16TH THIS CLINIC'S SERVICE IS NOT CONFORM TO A FIRST WORLD COUNTRY STANDARDS, I WOULD SAY NOT EVEN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY STANDARD COMPLETE DISASTER #YOUMADEMEEVENSICKER
Waiting time at the radiology department just to make an appointment is just too ridiculously long for nothing. It's just an appointment
I have been a physician for 30 years and have seen at times unprofessional behavior at times. This place gets first prize. I went for a simple Xray a few days ago. I was confronted by the rudest receptionist who could not have appeared less interested. She ordered me to do sit in a corner and wait. After 1 hour of waiting politely asked for an update from the other receptionist who almost bit my head off. Then she stated there was no requisition for my test and started badmouthing my physician. I left and checked with my physician who showed me proof that he had send them the requisition which they lost. AVOID this place at all costs!
I go to this health center for my son cause while patients wait to see specialists he continues to be sick and needs to see a doctor. I understand that people are tired after a busy day cause i work 50 hours a week myself as an educater in child care but there's no excuses for how rude, unprofessional and aggressive the behavior of the nurses and the rest of the staff is. Not everyone should have to stand for their abusive behavior cause they are having a bad day. As a good mother thats already worried for my child's health, i don't need their bullshit! Next time i'll have the same kind of attitude has them and see how they like it!!! SUPER JERKS!
They are so rude. Never ever I go there .
Very pleased!!! Brought my daughter in for what I thought might be a sprained wrist...she was seen within 10 minutes and wrapped in a bandage and out the door within 40 minutes. Amazing team of people!!! Thank you
It is hard to read the bad/sad reviews on here I feel like I am going to a different clinic when I see the comments. I have been going to the Emergency clinic on and off for years but in the past year more so, I have had one bad experience with one particular doctor that is it. From the great reception team to the nurses and I include the Radiology Dept. my experience has bee a very good one and I want to Thank all who work there.
Went to renew a prescription. No tests needed or anything. I just needed a signature to renew annually my prescription. After going through triage I waited 6 hours to spend 6 seconds with the doctor. Getting his coffee takes more time then that.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. There was a classically long wait time, but it was the doctor I saw that shocked me with unprofessional-ism. I came in because I had a horrible cough for 3 months. I also happen to have a very visible skin condition (vitiligo). As soon as the doctor saw me, I told him I was there for a chronic cough and issues breathing. He began to examine my arms and skin coloration, demanding to know how long I had the condition, who in my family had it, if I had seen a dermatologist etc. I politely answered his questions and tried to redirect the conversation, but he continued to focus on my skin. He then told me that I probably had low iron as I was so pale, and I had to awkwardly remind him that as my skin has absolutely no pigment...that was why I was pale. In addition to this I do happen to have some self harm scars. The doctor asked me if I was "over that" and I had to inform him that you do not simply "get over" severe depression. I had to insist on an x ray. When the results came back showing I had pneumonia he said he was "surprised that pneumonia was found, but that's what the radiologist says so..." and rather begrudgingly gave me a prescription. Honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had, and I am no stranger to poor comments made by medical professionals.
Terrible service over the phone; the staff member was incredibly rude. Despite being busy, there is no excuse to treat someone (especially with health concerns) poorly simply because you feel you can or because you are having a bad day.
Visited for a suture procedure after an accident. Everyone was so nice. Nurse Samantha Oliver did a terrific job greeting us and helping me . Dr. Mark Roper also did a great job. We walked out of this clinic completely happy after spending 6. Hrs in emergency at the Montreal General being totally ignored and no service.
I feel like staff are overwhelmed and overworked at the walk in clinic. I’ve come in a few times and always feel like a burden to the staff. However, The mental health clinic is excellent.
Even ER doctors, who are swarmed and have very little time to give, aren't as dismissive and don't treat you like dirt on their shoes.
If I could put zero I would put worst service ever I really regret having a family doctor for my son I was trying to take an appointment for my son on online it's not working plus called them so many times no one is taking my call whats the point to have a pedritician if you can't even have an appointment
Very bad service at the reception , not professional at all, very bad!!!

Family care the best walk in clinic the best physio and ergo therapies downstairs go elsewhere not whatthey use to be, very disapointed
Very horrible clinic ...I went last Sunday morning about my right rib in side pain. I explain everything nurse about my physical problem she lesson to me nicely .but when doctor came she didn’t lesson to me...no Check my body...roots behave..she told me I don’t have time to lessons to u ..go family doctor. For the pain take Tylenol..I told her i have no family doctor right now....I feel too much physical problems she no lesson to me..and she out from the room...
I saw a so-called "doctor" here about my migraines. He thought that I was lying, so he cut me off before I even finished talking, MOCKED me to my face, accused me of wasting his time, and then he called SECURITY on me (believe it or not!!!) as I sat there in total astonishment… And as if that wasn't traumatizing enough, I later found out he's the boss there too!!!! "Doctors" these days man, let me tell ya... makes you wonder if they give out doctors licenses on the Douglas street corner or something.
They don't care about the patients,I went there for my kid and after 4 hours waiting,we visited the doctor. My Daughter was so sick and had sore throat , couch and infection more than one week. But the doctor told us she doesn't need to any medication just give her Tylenol. (as usual). They forget to care the patients, attention to the patients and medical oath...Our medical system is broken.
They are liers and scammers who cover up for each other! A disgusting place. If you go there, demand a written proof for everything they do, otherwise they'll gaslight you later. Beware!
Horrible RUDE Unprofessional staff! NEVER again!
Horrible.
The walk in clinic is the only place where o can go and be seen in a reasonable time, if you need further tests they do it.
(Translated) On the phone, the clerk answered "first come, first served" to the question if I can see a MD today. I go there, see a nurse who does not show up, reason to visit, tension, etc. She gives me a number without any details ... replies that they call me by my name. After 2 hours, I see a number on one of the TVs: 40 people left before me? The beast clerk answers me that we are sorted as in the emergency ... Ask him why we don't say it, no empathy and say one it's like that and to complain to the nurse .... "First come, first served" Ah good! I haven't even gone to the walk-in clinic yet, I just called to ask a simple question about the services they offer (just wondering if my injury was something they call help me with) and the person who answered the phone loudly sighed and gave me attitude that was completely unnecessary. Exceptionally POOR customer service on the phone and didn't let me complete my sentence and just said thank you and hung up. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I at least got a "thank you" at all...
Worst clinic ever!! Doctors are rude, unsympathetic and have completely given up on their profession. They do not listen and try to dismiss you as fast as they can. I had a throat infection and the doctor barely checked my throat and told me that I LOOKED HEALTHY and nothing was wrong with me. I could barely eat, sleep or even swallow my own saliva without my throat hurting. How is me looking healthy a proper diagnosis!!!! I went home and looked in my throat with a flashlight and saw that I clearly had an infection. I could not stand it as it was so painful. So I went to the ER at the Royal Victoria Hospital. I waited 4 hours and finally the doctor prescribed me penicillin. I'm telling you these incompetent doctors are contributing to our already horrible healthcare system. I took the spot of someone who potentially needed more urgent care when I could have just received penicillin from the clinic to begin with. It doesn't make any sense!!! Seriously doctors, please change careers immediately because you have huge responsibilities on people's health. If you feel unmotivated or unwilling to help, please do us a favour and QUIT!
(Translated) The worst Center to communicate or make an appointment in Montreal. The board of directors is incompetent (Original) Le pire Centre pour communiquer ou prendre un rendez-vous à Montréal. Le conseil d'administration est incompétent
A sad shadow of its former self, the Queen E Health Complex is a fading building in desperate need of a revamp, renovation, or better yet, a complete rebuild. Half-hearted attempts at revitalizing include two spanking new elevators (but the two older ones date back to the civil war). The best that can be said about the place is that the rent is really, really cheap.
Avoid at all costs. Terrible organization, corruption left and right. The phone message states that patients should not present themselves personally at the clinic due to pandemic, as they operate only through the telemedicine at the moment. However when my husband was forced to actually go there, since the appointment registration website did not work and we were trying to get an appointment for 3 days for a baby, there were people coming as usual for walk-in, without appointment. Receptionist service rude, threatens people to call security while do the opposite of what they advertise. When my husband told them, he will have to call police for an investigation a manager came in and an appointment was discussed. Shady organization. However our family doctor is amazing. But the clinic is the worst in Canada.
I have no problem with my family doctor but clearly the receptionist is not working! I have been trying to get an appointment for two weeks and nobody answers. I am put on hold for 5 minutes to then be told to leave a message. I have already left 3 in the past two weeks with no news! What's the point of finally having a family doctor when you can't even reach the reception to get an appointment?? :(
(Translated) Staff of doctors pleasant, but wait time too long. I'm used to clinics and this one holds the record time I spent in the waiting room. Doctors, this is your luck. Some are very good, understanding and take the time to reassure you. Others don't really listen to what you say and prescribe a little anything to get you going. Right now I was going there as a last resort when I had little stuff, but if I had something serious it would probably be among the last I would think of.
Terrible! If you get assigned a family Dr there, run for your life! You are just better off going to a walk-in clinic!
It sounds like experiences at the Queen Elizabeth Urgent Care Clinic can be quite varied. My experience was very positive: I arrived on a Sunday around 4pm. The triage nurse called my name within 5 minutes of arriving, and after asking about the problem, took my blood pressure and was able to flag down the doctor to sign off on having X-rays taken. The X-ray clinician saw me promptly and took the X-rays, and I was sent back to the waiting room. Within 30-40 minutes, I was called again and the doctor debriefed me on the X-ray results and next steps, and answered a couple of questions I had. Within about an hour and twenty minutes of arriving, I was out the door with prescriptions in hand. The nurse and doctor were quite courteous and helpful. The receptionist seemed distracted at first by a cell phone; I don't know if it was work-related or not.
had a follow up at the specialty clinic, fifth floor, registered ok.,but never called to the case room
Was called to confirm my appointment the next day at 1:30 pm. I showed up on time and after speaking with 6 different people in 3 locations I was never able to get my appointment. Disorganized and a complete mess. To top it all off there are counterfeit goods being sold in front of the elevators. Apparently the foundation is accepting "donations" from the people selling the goods. Confirmed by the accountant in the administration.
I was sick with fever and cough. My ribs where injured from the coughing. I waiting 5 hours in pain. Then they put me in a exam table. I screamed in pain when I coughed. 30 minutes later I saw the doctor. He was Ok. But those 5 hours of waiting were very Hard.
2. NOT EVEN "5" Don't you think it's time that you stop saying "Apoligies this has been forwarded to the management" & actually DO SOMETHING to fix the problem, this isn't a local repair shop, we are talking about people's health here, maybe it is time somebody actually does something about this dire situation??? If management received half these comments & still hasn't done anything you need to simply CLOSE!!!
If I could have given a zero I would have. Have been going to this hospital for years. My primary family doctor closed her practice. I am left all alone to fend for myself. They have staff working with the offices bare,No one is interested in helping you. Couldn't be bothered. Went to see if I can see someone at the emergency clinic the receptionist was more worried that I was over the line when waiting to ask a question. No wonder so many doctors are leaving this place pretty dispicable. Dr. Roper you had a fabulous family medicine set up there, I've known you since I was a patient of yours at the MGH. I will never step foot in this place again. Hope you get shut down, your staff has no empathy, they are rude, not professional at all. But let's blame this all on COVID.hope none of you need any medical care.Karma
The walk-in clinic at Queen Elizabeth is absurd. They have two old ladies at reception who take turns being nasty to people. Someone should record a hidden video, because it really is unbelievable. And that is Quebec for you. No accountability at all.
More than two months to get an appointment with family doctor I.Serwadda...... The appointment was re-schedule (advance hour) less than 24 hours without notice .... Incompetency (diagnostic), disorganized (Customer management), not listening the Customer...Not professional and the worst not competent. The Urgence is much better.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Service is rude and some staff have no regards for people’s time. The nurse who took charge of me (I believe her name is Lise) was extremely unprofessional. Nowhere does it say online you have to book an appointment prior so I had to come back later in the day and the nurse mentioned above gave me a specific time. I come back and the same nurse who gave me the time pushes my appointment by 40 mins without acknowledging she messed up the time of the first appointment!! No sorry or nothing. She also had the audacity to justify herself by saying: « oh well we’re booked right now » as if that was my problem… Horrible system and organisation. This clinic should really think about hiring younger people, these people working there now look stressed and purely miserable .
Worst walk-in clinic ever. The old lady at reception is just surly and argumentative, needs to be put out to pasture because not doing anyone any good. After asking to speak to someone else I still couldn't get a straight answer about getting treatment there, was handed a card with a website address on it and told someone would call me, still not sure how that works. Went immediately to St. Mary's and got treated there with no problems apart from having to wait. This happened twice in one month: disappointment at QE, hop a bus to St. Mary's. And the one doctor I did see at QE a couple years ago, I think his name was Roper, total burn out case, one of the worst doctors I've seen. They use a lot of new doctors here so you might have luck but basically not worth the trip. Avoid this clinic. They also do triage even though it's a clinic and not an ER, so you can enjoy watching new arrivals go ahead of you as you wait. They get nothing right here. Intake nurse takes frequent smoke breaks, demoralized staff, as bad as it gets.
(Translated) Deplorable service. . I called to have an appointment to have some thread removed due to stitches. I was told to make an appointment with Rendez vous sante Quebec at 4 p.m. (?) . I went to the site indicated at 4 p.m. and only telephone appointments are granted during the covid. . I call the clinic who tells me that they only consult face-to-face if we have an appointment and I have to take it on Rendez-vous Sante Quebec. . I explain the situation to him by telling him that I am fine but that I cannot make a face-to-face appointment online. She hangs up on me when I was not even unpleasant with her in addition. In summary: Deplorable service, I am always taken with my sons. (Original) Service déplorable. .
Our family has deeply appreciated the services of several doctors at this Complex. However, the walk-in clinic probably doesn't deserve having Queen Elizabeth's name. Pro: Much faster than the emergency room. Once I had a reaction to something and was prescribed an anti-histamine and another time I went for strep throat and was treated quickly. Con: As described by others, don't go here unless the diagnosis is simple. I hurt my heal two summers ago. When I went here, the doctor told me "Nothing is broken, just give it time to heal. Take it easy." Now I have tried a variety of things like osteopath, stretching, and orthopedics. My ankle still hurts when I wear boots and the muscles in my leg are usually tense (hence the osteopath). In the most recent visit the doctor told me to take my socks off. Then she looked at my ankle and squeezed my foot one time. She said "You are over 30 years old. Your body is falling apart. You have to build it up again." She told me 3x to join a yoga class. I asked if there was any way she could make a diagnosis of why I have the tense muscles and my ankle doesn't have the normal range of movement. She said, "Whatever it is, the treatment is the same, stretching and exercise."
