My husbsnd arrived for his morning appointment and was told he did not have one. He left and I told him to go back. He then was told his appointment was the day earlier..... I said absolutely not! He went back oh!!!! They found it but it is at 2:45. Nooo it is this morning at 8:30... They apologized but refused to take him. We have other medical appointments in the afternoon thus the reason his was scheduled for this morning.... The very rude secretary told me well call us back you will have to wait 2 months... Rude and unprofessional. This is my husbands clinic for his arm and this experience was awful and uncomfortable.

DO NOT GO HERE. I have to say, in the interest of fairness that my first experience was good. I have severe anxiety and after an attempt at an MRI elsewhere, realised I am claustrophobic when it comes to MRI's. Sedative medication also has a bad effect on me. The first time I went the technician was lovely, very understanding, tried a lot of techniques to calm me down and after a freak-out (and asking all the questions to make sure it's safe) he allowed my husband to hold my leg through the procedure. Upon second return, technician/doctor was terrible. Would not let my husband into room, but more than that, his manner was very rude, brusque and scary for a person with anxiety. He said that the other guy who allowed it was very bad and implied he would get into big trouble. Honestly, it's just so disappointing. You pay a lot of money for a service that bills itself as being patient friendly, especially for those who have severe anxiety and fear around MRI's. They even have a 'creed' type thing on the wall that talks about respecting and treating patients with anxiety with gentleness. So It's so disappointing to know there are staff who work there like the one I encountered. If you have anxiety around doctors, it's probably because you've had a terrible experience, so you know the type of doctor, I mean, he was just like all those old, nasty, judgemental doctors who don't seem to have an ounce of empathy or kindness and cannot understand those with mental illness. Since you never know what technician you will get, I cannot recommend here for those with severe anxiety. I thank the front desk staff for apologising, but because of this technician I am now stuck trying to find another MRI place and with a newly added dread and fear of an appointment in the way of my wellness.

On m'a offert un rendez-vous selon une plage horaire où je ne pouvais pas me déplacer. J'ai demandé un rendez-vous plus tôt le matin ou en soirée (en me fiant sur les heures d'ouverture sur le site) et on m'a dit que c'était impossible. J'ai mentionné que ça ne me dérangeait pas de prendre mon rendez-vous quelques semaines plus tard pour avoir une plage qui me convenait et on me répond que ces plages (début de matinée et fin de journée) sont bookées pour les douze prochains mois. J'ai un peu de mal à le croire.... Le ton était très sec et il n'y a eu aucun effort pour essayer de m'accommoder. J'ai tout simplement dis que je ferais affaire avec une autre clinique, ce qui n'a pas eu l'air de lui faire un pli.

Trying to help my young adult son navigate the system to get an MRI appointment and don’t find it normal he’s been waiting two weeks to hear back from the clinic for an appointment. What is a normal response time? Follow up: though we never got a call back from the clinic after having waited 45 min on line Friday night and finally leaving a message, following this response we called again and were told the dr failed to send in the requisition. So I retract my one star and edit it to 4 star fir having provided us with a personal and quick response to this post.

UPDATE: December 31st problem fixed immediately at opening hours. Had a problem making an appointment but was treated very well once the mistake was brought to the attention of the clinic and the problem was fixed right away. I was told by the receptionist that it was an exception that this happened to me and that it did not reflect the standards at this business. As my first experience here went very smoothly, I do believe that this was a one-time thing and likely due to the confusion of the Christmas holidays. I greatly appreciate the speed at which this problem was handled and the politeness both on the phone and in email correspondences. This was my initial Google Review made December 29th: Second time here. The first time it was easier to get an appointment, although the appointment was for over a month after the initial doctors appointment and not ideal. This time my experience has been horrible. I dropped off a referral for an ultrasound in person on December 19th, where the receptionist told me that I would be called the following day to make an appointment. It is now December 29th and I have yet to be called. I tried calling and was left on hold without talking to a living person for a half an hour.

Fantastic experience for my pregnancy ultrasounds. The only issue is they didn’t send the results to my midwife. I had to call after finding out at my appointments that she didn’t receive the results. I assumed the issue was fixed after I called the first time but in the end they had put the wrong fax # in the system and didn’t update it when I called, so the issue happened again.

I have gone to IRM Sud-Ouest several times during the past year and and every time has been an absolute pleasure. I have always been nervous going to medical institutions but the staff has always put my nerves to rest. The waiting time has always been at a minimum. I have never waited more than 20 minutes to be seen. The facility is very clean and all of the staff is extremely friendly. After only a couple of visits the staff at the front desk has come to know me by my first name. I have been seen by Dr Rehany during my visits and I have found him to be friendly, curtious, professional, thorough, and very clear at explaining every step of the process, as well as of the evaluation. This is the only location that I will go to for my Imaging needs. I would recommend the IRM Sud-Ouest to everyone.

The worst medical experience attended so ever . As a first timer had no briefings nor educated on expectations- was taken to a room and before I realized was pour a cold uncomfortable substance to my back, I complained & in trying to inquire what it was, was injected at the back and when I inquire why the injections , all he said was to be steady & not agitate - a stand by attendant said not to worry “ce juste un colourant” ... My later readings and findings made me understand it was a dye substance which has its own side effects especially to the kidneys ... I expected atleast to be educated or kidney testing before such administrations. I felt as a guinea pig ... should have been educated & right to opinion sorted for alternative opinion: such go without the dyeing as finding indicates. It’s only after days I’m realizing from personal findings that I should have taken enough water after the dyeing to flush my system/kidneys. Moreover, the constant fire alarm going on & off for about the whole time there created so much panic especially when into the MRI machine...

Really incredible and caring service. Dr Benabu was so knowledgeable, confident and actioned immediately what needed to be done. The clinic is easy to find and has everything needed in the same place. I got an ultrasound, diagnosis and treatment in the same visit and Dr. Benabu even asked the Physio in the building to fit me in that very same day. While with the Physio he came to check on me. I cannot say enough at how wonderful this clinic is and how grateful I am. I am on the way to recovery of a frozen shoulder after months of pain. I fully recommend both the clinic and Dr Benabu!

I wasn't impress, like others that did the review the reception desk wasn't to accountable for their mistake; I sent my information through their site and I found out they didn't call the right number, I had to call them to know, no apology. Then when I went to the hospital for my follow up my doctor told me they haven't received the report after a week and a half. Remember this is a private clinic.

Dr. Yves Benabu left me in tears... tears of JOY!! Over the last 20 years I have endured a total of 7 trigger-finger-release and carpal-tunnel-release surgeries, along with countless cortisone injections, occupational therapy appointments and physiotherapy sessions, all culminating in varying degrees of success. Unfortunately the surgeries (19 and 20 years ago) on my index fingers left them locked in a flexed position throughout all that time. I asked a plastic surgeon if he could straighten these fingers since I am a guitar player. He cautioned me that it would result in me not being able to bend them again... so my guitar playing days would surely be over. Time to think out of the box!! Dr. Yves Benabu used ultrasound to pinpoint exactly where the tendons of these digits were being trapped and (with a local anesthetic) to guide him in detaching the lesions. He then instructed me to wear a finger splint for a couple of weeks and to do extension and flexion stretches, which I still continue to do today. I am now back to playing the guitar, an important activity in my retirement!

After a failed calcific barbotage in early 2019, almost by accident, I found myself at this clinic. Within minutes of the first treatment, the pain was miraculously gone. After having a horrible experience at the hospital, I made an appointment with IRM Sud-Ouest and I was extremely pleased overall. The place was very clean and I there was no wait time The receptionist, Nathalie, was extremely kind and understanding and she was able to give me a relatively fast appointment. The ultrasound technician Jeffrey was amazing. Not only was he calm and professional, he also talked to me throughout the entire appointment to ease my anxiousness. Had major pain and a complete frozen shoulder …dr benabu took care of it …. He is excellent , professional and extremely knowledgeable. I was told this procedure to remove calcium from the shoulder was very painful however I felt nothing with this doctor. A must see if you have issues , he is a miracle worker ! Highly recommend!!

It was a very nice open bore machine. My head was actually out of the machine for my lower back MRI. I would certainly recommend this clinic to anyone who is claustrophobic. The staff was also very helpful. I am from Ontario and needed directions to the clinic as my GPS was not finding the location. A staff member stayed on the phone with me for 10 minutes to help me and my wife get there. The clinic is fairly clean.

My husband had a very poor customer service experience. Because this is a Private clinic, you have to deal with very rude people and also pay 600$ per exam. In our case it was 1200$ (2 exams) Don't waste your money there's at least 7 private MRI clinics in Montreal.
