Monday August 23rd 3pm. I finally met in person the rotten apple at the reception, she was sitting next to Christina, has dark hair, dark circles under her eyes, she doesn't look happy to be there. I tend to treat people the way they treat me. She doesn't give her first name, most likely to cover up her demeanor. My first complaint was sent by email over a month ago but never got a reply. Christina was there and witness her blowout to the point she did not want to talk to me anymore. Said: talk to Christina, ''i'm done with you''. How it started, i had a blood test paper, so i ask how does it work and she answers AS YOU CAN SEE the office is closed, the light is off, i answer well i don't know that i don't work here! Then she gave me attitude (on google reviews others feel the same way, Mom also got a taste of that), she became irritated, angry, because i was exposing her behavior, telling her even if you have to tell me 10 times the same thing, you still have to do it, it's your job to answer questions and repeat yourself if people don't understand you. Told her your suppose to learn to de-escalate things, not make them worse, her demeanor got nasty and gave me a lecture. She doesn't show empathy, or compassion, a cold person to deal with. I won't name any names but other good receptionists told me they know all about her and suggested: if i want to make a complaint, do it by email. We go to see a doctor when we have a problem, when we're not feeling well, so sometimes we arrive stressed out, scared to find out bad news about our health, so receptionists try to be patient, don't get upset if you have to repeat yourself and show some empathy towards patients you will be seeing again... Unfortunately for the first time, i was given an unfriendly doctor, who lectured me on the valid reasons to book an appointment at the urgent care clinic, i wrote down the 3 reasons i was there, he did not like the first reason, so i gave him my main reason, explained that i waited 4-5 weeks before booking an appointment, told him i called 811 service on Friday and the nurse said to see a doctor asap, that"s why i booked for Monday, i did not want to bother the ER for this. Then he proceeded to give me the service but said to see my doctor for other things. Some people are passionate about their work and some can't offer a human touch experience. No point in sending a 2nd complaint, since the first was not investigated. Hope Dr Buch who has been kind to me, takes action to better things. Besides this second incident, I find other receptionists and doctors pleasant to deal with.

I’m told to return to my appointment at 11:30 am, that’s fine, I return at 11:30 am only to wait another hour, that’s fine, I get called to go into room C where a doctor enters and is fully prepared to hear me out. I advise the doctor I’ve been here before but he is unable to find me in the system, he goes out to the reception and locates my file and asks one of the receptionist to merge files and then vanishes.. My experience with the clinic was far beyond what I expected, especially for a first time visit. I very easily made my appointment online yesterday in the afternoon and there was two spots available for the morning, so I grabbed one. Received email confirmation right away. I arrived a little early, the clinic was quiet and clean. The doctor that I saw was very thorough and kind, and honestly, it was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a clinic.

J'ai attendu 2 heures pour rien et mon médecin m'a accuser d'être en retard. Il a failli pas pouvoir me passer. Quand je me suis plain on m'a dit que si je n'étais pas contant d'aller ailleurs et il ne sont même pas excusé. De plus, les secrétaires se sont misent en équipe contre moi pour presque m'intimider. Par contre pour les médecins cest une très bonne clinique en ce qui me concerne. Même presque là meilleur que j'ai vu. C'est pour cette raison que j'ai mis trois étoile au lieu de zéro.

My family doctor here is amazing. I would recommend dr. Monahan to anyone. However, this review is for the clinic at large, more specifically the receptionist service. I've had multiple experiences of the receptionists being completely unprofessional, rude, or downright mean. For example when I was calling about a mental health issue. Funnily enough, I was also asked to change my review here because of this. Their online booking system DOES NOT WORK. I've currently been caller #2 for 2 for 15 minutes. How is this possible? This is in addition to limiting their hrs to a couple of hrs a day. I believe this is definitely purposeful so that they limit appointments to clients.

Amazing experience! First time going to a clinic since moving to Montreal and was nervous of what to expect as my French is still not strong. Receptionists were all incredibly helpful and spoke English with me and did not wait very long to see the doctor (I pre booked an appt online in the morning). This review is not about the clinic itself but rather about their process to make an appointment for the walk-in. Since they’ve changed it to12 hrs for the time slots to appear in the system, it became almost impossible to catch an appointment. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get an appointment at later time (around 5pm) and there’s always nothing available. I can’t do mornings / afternoons because of my work. I was hoping to get it on the weekend, but checked on Friday night - there were no appointments. Not sure how to get an appointment there now. This is beyond frustrating.

My family and I all go to this clinic since it opened. The clinic is clean and well organised. Appointments are done with a phone app, so no need to wait there for hours on end, like at other clinics. Very civilized! There is a CDL lab on site if you want to have blood tests done privately, which is convenient, and nurse Jackson is really friendly and good with needles. The clinic provides masks for coughing patients and recommends boot removal in winter, but people are not very compliant. That is a shame! Negatives: Lack of adjacent parking; you must find a spot on nearby streets.

Awful bedside manner from one of their physicians. being a woman and a racial minority, he completely disregarded my background and didn't listen to my concerns for my care. Paternalism was high - and you could tell he didn't believe in a reciprocal relationship between the patient and physician. I left the office feeling extremely uncomfortable. Not every patient fits exactly in a cookie cutter med school textbook example. However I can vouch for Dr.Jonathan Simons, he's great, not often you can find a Dr. with good bedside manners. Keep up the good work.

Efficient and helpful. And coughing up the 10 bucks for Chronometriq helped save time, though having to pay in order not to spend several hours in the waiting room seems a bit cheeky.

Advice: Go during a snowstorm. I went for the walk-in hours and it was almost empty. It was a breeze - I was in and out in 20 minutes! The staff is friendly if you chat them up and Dr. Simons has a good sense of humour. The clinic was tidy and modern and there's free wifi if you ask for the password. The location is pretty easy to get to by metro too - just a five-minute walk from Métro de la Savane. The entrance is a little tricky to find though; go into the main doors and turn left at the lobby and left again.

Worst clinic ever. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. Pathetic staff, who like to gossip and don't care about patients. Had to wait for an hour for a scheduled appointment to ultimately know that the dr wasn't at the clinic to begin with. 0 stars.

Very unpleasant reception . Refusal to send your medical result & tests by e -mail even though all personal files and data in that Clinique are paper free/fully computerized. Asking to go there personally and for payment per page . No proper follow up from your "doctor" . Mistakes in diagnosis ,negligence . .. DO NOT recommend and will be looking to find my way out of this " health " care provider ASAP. Better without family doctor that with a doctor and a "health care " facility like this. And last but not least-bad location,no parking place and not a clear guidance- as they basically DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU - how to get there and where or how to park. Look else where . Giving 1 star as I can not give 0-google review does not give me that option.....

I had infection on my left ear and someone who call himself dr.Scheefer told me that my ear need to be washed, but nurse said there are infection on the ear and she can not wash them off.she consulted another doctor and she saved my ear to being washed otherwise water pressure could blew up the ear drum as female dr said, then she perscribed antibiotics drops.has to be mentioned that she was wondering while nurse told her that washing was dr.Scheer's suggestion. We have experienced unprofessional, rude, and condescending receptionists during my wife's prenatal care. Staff won't be available for any questions. On the off-chance you do connect with someone, you will be met with poor customer service and shocking rudeness. One receptionist even brought my wife to tears. On another occasion, the doctor sat on potentially dangerous blood results without informing us of any issue for over 6-weeks. We will be transferring to a different clinic to finish out the rest of the pregnancy.

I have been coming to this clinic since it first opened a d can tell you that the service is excellent. The staff and doctors are thorough and professional. Appointments are fast and wait times are kept to a minimum. I highly recommend this clinic! One visit and you will see what i mean.

Horrible services from the receptionist. Sadly I have a family doctor there. Normally, they don't take appointments by phone but their website told me to call the clinic since for some reason, the system didn't recognize my file. I called and told the receptionist what the system told me and she was extremely rude to me after I mentioned the website told me to call. And I also wanted to inform the receptionist that the clinic/doctor did not call me back for a past recent appointment phone call. The receptionist was still rude and told me I should've informed them about the missed appointment, hello?!!! Aren't I informing the clinic about this? Don't know why the receptionist was rude but she's lucky I didn't ask for her name. You should all monitor your receptionists, a nice clinic should not have this many receptionist complaints!

There was even a person who had been there since 4:30 am and his appointment was at 4:15 am ... I got tired and left (not the only one by the way) Finally, I would recommend against this place if you want to take a quick test. Il y a plusieurs dans lesquelles j'ai été déçu: 1- C'est une clinique qui faut payer 100$ pour avoir un rendez-vous "expres" (il n'y a que des rdv expres) 2- Lorsque je suis rentré, il y avait plein de personnes collé les unes contre les autres, et tout ça pour se faire tester pour la Covid. Les mesures n'étaient pas vraiment respectées 3- Le niveau administratif était mal gérer, il était difficile de comprendre où aller. Par ailleurs, il y avait juste 1 secrétaire pour un lign up de 20 personnes... 4- Quand l'infirmière est finalement arrivé, une personne lui a demandé l'heure d'attente qui restait et elle a rétorqué de façon bête: We'll talk later in private 5- Et dernièrement, j'ai attendu jusqu'à 6h15 pour un rendez-vous qui était du à 5h.. Il y avait même une personne qui était là depuis 4h30 et son rdv était à 4h15... Je me suis tanné et suis parti (pas le seul d'ailleurs) Finalement, je déconseille cette endroit si vous voulez passer un test rapide.

Management is horrible. They removed the 30 min doctor appointments! Now every appointment, even your annual checkup is only 15 minutes! Also, the concept of requiring an appointment for a WALK-IN clinic is nonsense.

I am very disappointed with this clinic. I was received by doctor Bush as his patient. Then when I tried to take another appointment I've found out that I am not in the system as his patient. My file was not signed. I was postponed with the promise that he will take me as patient. I rejected two other clinics that called me to offer me a family doctor. Today my appointment was cancelled again: they told me that doctor Bush never promised me to take me as his patient. Total lack of professionalism, a huge waste of time for me considering that now I have to search again a family doctor. I totally don't recommend this clinic.

I had cough and High fever which lasted more than 10 days and doctor advised me to wait for couple of more weeks and come back if doesn’t go away and sent me out within 2 mins without even prescribing any medicine! wow! This is a nice friendly and clean clinic compared to many others I have been to, and my family doctor is respectful and attentive. I would normally give 5 stars, but I had a terrible experience with the secretary today when I called. I was phoning to explaing that my family doctor had told me, during my telephone appointment last week, that she would be emailing me some paperwork. The secretary kept rudely interupting me saying doctors don't email patients, I kept trying to explain to her that this is what my doctor told me but she did not give me a chance to speak. Despite me remaining polite she quickly grew irate and hung up the phone on me. I understand these are stressful times and volumes can be considerably higher than normal, but this is not an excuse to lack such basic manners and be rude to this extent. Unfortunately I could not get her name, but if anyone cares to follow-up on this the call was answered today around 11:30am. By the looks of some of the other reviews, it sounds like it could be the same person (and for a while now). Should there not be a bit more courtesy and professionalism as the liason between patient and doctor?

It was a hassle free experience, although they don’t have an eye doctor, the doctor who saw me Dr. Gasse was very accommodating. She did necessary tests like visual acuity, fundoscopy, anything that can be done while im there at the clinic. She referred me to an optometrist and eventually to an ophthalmologist. Er here in Quebec and other walkin clinic will let you wait 7hrs for nothing. It’s the process i know but they can do better than that. The appointment system is also efficient and they are answering emails if you can’t get through phone calls. It’s way better than other clinics. Keep it up.

While my experiences with the doctors here have mostly all been great, the receptionists are repeatedly rude to me. I have never been disrespectful but when I chose to stand up and address the nasty tone the receptionist used with me, I was interrupted, gaslit, and “politely” hung up on. This creates an atmosphere that I do not feel safe or respected in. It’s disappointing to see grown adults behave this way rather than apologizing and taking responsibility for the tone in which they speak to patients. The only reason I return here is because there is short wait times and the doctors themselves are mostly professional. I don’t expect anyone to be overly friendly but it’s highly unpleasant to always be spoken down to. The lack of respect reflects poorly on the clinic as a whole as the receptionists are likely the first interactions patients will have.

I love this clinic! The staff at reception are friendly and efficient, and Dr. Barbara Monaghan is an absolute treasure. She is extremely competent, thorough, and takes time to listen to my concerns. I do not find parking to be a challenge- there is $5 underground parking next door, which is cheaper and easier than parking at my previous clinic in Westmount. The Tap Medical system for making appointments is brilliant. I feel very fortunate to be a patient at this clinic, and will also use it for walk-in should the need arise.

If I could give this clinic 10 stars I would. I came on the site to write a positive review after spending time with the team today booking follow-up appointments for my family. After reading the negative review below I am very glad I did. My whole family is followed at this clinic, including my two month old son and my husband's elderly (and coincidentally immigrant) grandmother. The quality of the service we receive every step of the way is top-notch. The receptionists are extremely polite, accommodating and regularly go out of their way to help us. Our physicians and nurses are kind, empathetic, incredibly up-to-date and knowledgeable. Despite being incredibly busy, the clinic runs very smoothly and is a clean and positive environment. In fact, my husband's grandmother is over-the-moon when she has the opportunity to run into the clinic's manager who always makes her feel welcome and cared for. Thank you all so much!

I would like to know why this clinic doesn't give their patients the right to make informed decisions about their potential family physicians I met with Dr Craig Smith in December 2018for a walk in appointment for a prescription renewal. Dr Smith offered to take me on as a patient and walked me through all the appropriate paperwork, which I handed over to the reception. The receptionist took the application and failed to give me the choice to make the informed decision that this doctor was being investigated for taking in appropriate photos of female patients from 2 incidents in April 2018. No one gave me the information surrounding these allegations and there was no transparency for me to make an informed decision. Every further visit I had , dr Smith was joined by an "assistant" which I had the plwasure of finding out from THE NEWSPAPER was a chaperone and not an "assistant". I was supposed to go for a pap test this April which I THANKFULLY cancelled and still this joke of a clinic just told me it would be done with a nurse and evaluated by the doctor. Not only was I not given my RIGHT to information , but you people continued to protext this doctor and let him take on new , young female patients. Your lack of transparency is disgusting. Especially when I called last week and was told " oh yes, dr Smith no longer works here but he is taking all his patients with him and someone will contact you soon" which is hilarious because he had been in suspension of work since March 28th. It is now April 10 and I've basically been thrown aside and no one had contacted me, no one even reached out to Dr sSmiths patients to see if they were okay and to inform them of this information. It's disgusting to find this out through local media. It's even more disgusting that you don't seem to care to do any damage control. I am now going to have to find another family doctor because you people did not give your patients the right to make an informed decision for my care. Edited to add: I am sure this google review is a good place for this review as I don't want to make this complaint under the table, and this platform is in place precisely to get experiences to the public. I also HAVE called your reception was basically told that the clinic did not feel they had any responsibility to inform patients and that *I* am responsible to decide if I want to keep my doctor and so I have very little faith in what can be accomplished by keeping this to emails alone . The clinic as a whole also aided this doctor to keep working by providing him "assistants" (chaperones) to keep working while under supervision -directly implying that the situation was known. As well as having nurses do his Pap tests, without additional information .the entire clinic knew he should not be doing these tests so absolutely this review goes for the clinic as a whole .Sorry that you want me to keep it quiet .

The clinic is great. The first time I went there was little wait time & my concerns were addressed. But today I can't say the same. If you don't use the paid service to avoid the wait times, forget about seeing a doctor under 2 hours. I got so frustrated that I left before seeing a doctor & I was told there were quite a few ahead of me. Out of the 3 at reception, the young lady in grey scrubs was most polite & apologetic. Not so much for the other 2 especially the blondie.

My wife and I have known this lady for many years and she always shows respect and concern to everyone, including immigrants. This is a terrible accusation and we know for a fact, it is untrue. On the day of the appointment nobody called so I reached out to them and they were like :''oh you were supposed to come in person. oh it's our mistake''. I have never been there but last week I get sick I googled and find this clinic. I called at 9 am and the clerk was so polite I explained my problem and she told me Dr will call you 15/20 min later (I had an emergency problem). Dr called me she was so kind and patient. This is in response to the complaint of ESTEFANIA MORALES. I have worked for over 16 years with the person in question , in an area that served mostly immigrants and she was always nothing but professional and courteous and always went above and beyond for every patient. Your complaint is clearly slanderous probably just because she stated you a fact on how long doctors have to fill out forms and you DIDN'T LIKE THE ANSWER!! I have worked 20+ years in medical clinics and see this on a daily basis. A patient brings in a form and wants it ready the next day because it is "urgent", not thinking that most doctors have over 2000 patients and receive about 50 forms a WEEK and are all deemed URGENT by patients. What is the doctor and staff suppose to do in this instant?!! What's is worst is that in 90% of cases patients get the forms in advance and bring them in 2 days before they are due!! I am also a patient at this clinic along with my entire family and can state as a FACT that everyone working there is exceptional!! You should definitely remove your false complaint.

I had a stable and friendly family doctor for years and was super satisfied. However a few weeks ago they changed their appointment scheduling service, and I'm not recognized as having a family doctor there and cannot book appointments anymore. Sad because I always found this clinic friendly, helpful, and well ran. (Original) Aujourd’hui le 26 mars 2019 j’ai appris en lisant le journal de Montreal a la page 9 que Dr Craig Smith qui travaille à la clinique santé Mont Royal risquait une radiation du college des medecins pour avoir photographié sa patiente nue durant un examen. J’ai communiqué avec la clinique pour savoir si mon dossier medical pouvait être transféré à un autre médecin. La rêceptioniste n’était pas au courant de la situation mais m’a dit que la gérante me rappellerait. Apres 3 appels logés a la clinique aujourd’hui par mon conjoint et moi-meme, personne n’a jugé important de nous rappeler! Nous sommes abasourdis de cette situation!

Wound have given -10!!! Very misleading. The reception is very nice to speak but it just too much misleading information. We got info from pharmacist as my little daughter got some allergy. We called yesterday around noon and was told it’s full for the day but we can set up profile online and book appointment for next day and the first appointment is only open at 10pm I.e. 12 hours before they open on Sunday. We made sure to set up the profile and logged in online at 9:55pm and at 10am we hit submit to book appointment - no availability! Tried many many times still not working. Wakes up in the mid night and tried again, still no!!! Called this morning and only until then she told me that patients that are registered already have priorities and can book over phone and then told me it’s all full today again! Well she could have told me all such info when I called yesterday so that we can search info for other alternatives!!! And apparently yesterday she probably already knew they already got full appointments today. But instead she told me firmly that: “oh, you won’t seek availability now because you can only see it at 10pm tonight!” I mean this is really JOKE!!! This is for urgency appointment - not for a haircut or for a dentist cleaning appointment!!! They should have been more clear and honest about how it works and what was the situation!!! Instead they told me that maybe just wanted me to fill in a possibly last minute cancellation and didn’t want to tell me so that I won’t search for other clinics or book appointment with others!!!! This is really BAD!!!!

The receptionists are very rude. The woman at the front desk was rude, hostile, and disrespectful. It is better to mention them that they are just receptionist , and not a boss

Receptionists have always been extremely rude and non-receptive. I was running late for an appointment during a snowstorm, called to check if I can still make it, they confirmed it was ok and when I arrived to the clinic they all pretended that no one spoke to me and that I lost my appointment. I don't mind loosing the appointment it is just the lack of honesty and values of the receptionists that really bothered me. Additionally, parking there is a total mess and hard to find. I love my family doctor that currently practices there but I am completely disengaged of going back to deal with those receptionists.
