My wife took me to Emergency after 10pm. There were 3 people in the line waiting for "triage" admission but with ambulance & police arrivals we waited for an hour to be admitted. There is a true triage receptionist during the day but apparently not at night. In retrospect I should have called an ambulance. After admission the service was 5 stars plus. The nurses, techs and physicians were exceptional. Explanations were given during treatment. Requisitions for subsequent processes were given to me which the hospital fulfilled within 2 days along with a referral back to Emerge for explanations and future specialist appointments. The facility is sanitized frequently. Medical masks are given to all entering and distancing is mandatory with seating appropriately spaced. A huge THANK YOU to the staff!

Really this isn't the place to go to when your not well. Emergency services as well is very poor. My brother got left alone for 2 hrs in a hallway, as they couldn't where he was. There was no apology for their mistake. We ended up after 3 days of neglect & him close to dying transferring him to Abbottsford Hospital, where he remained for 2 & 1/2 weeks. This place scares me. The emergency room is more like an assumption room where it's assumed you're just being dramatic about your health. Everyone seems to be very slow and systematic, like everyone forgot there is emergencies that can happen to people. I don't care how upset or how a person is really when they come into the emergency they are sick and in pain there is no need I escalate things by being negative in anyway back at the person.

Where do I start. The impark staff are rude. I think that impark needs to remove themselves from hospitals especially. they love to hover and wait and if you are one minute over they will slam you with a ticket. The tickets they give you have no value and they don't go against your license.

I believe when attending a hospital a person shouldn't have to pay to park yet they charge here. There is ample parking but be absolutely certain you leave nothing in plain sight in your vehicle. This location is well known for car break ins and even theft of vehicles

Horrible experience. 2nd mamogram ever. Hard to understand directions outside & inside hospital (even with Google and reading how to find parking & radiology). Rude tech. It's an impersonal procedure. Prior to entering room, it's self directed. Noone to ask info. Read instructions yourself. Decipher. Then have tech rudely tell you to come out of change room and be "available". She said, Are you ready? Answer yes. Comment, "Be outside so we know". Thought: I just GOT ready. I had to read instructions. Figure stuff out. Worry about tying up gown (not necessary as you remove it immediately anyway) but I DID NOT KNOW THAT. Horrible experience. I am so happy however to have the test done that could potentially prolong my life. We have a great health system.

I was visiting a friend of mine who was in the hospital. The price of parking was fair enough I guess and it was really nice not to have to circle around the block a bunch of times hoping that someone is going to leave so you can get their spot. If you can afford to pay for parking, I suggest doing it, unless it's at a time that it's not busy and finding a place to park isn't too hard.

At 5 in the morning I went into the hospital and waited 3 hours to see a nurse after I saw her she had me remain there for 45 minutes longer than I needed to. She then told me I was okay to leave without any paperwork and she wasted my time I left in a bit of a Huff and she threw out my ultrasound my doctor didn't even see it submitted. The staff there always pretends to seem so stressed but everybody is all happy hanging out, sitting around with big giant coffee cups all night long hard at work provoking and wasting your time.

As busy as the doctors and nurses are, they have attended to my mom's needs both in emergency and hospital quarentine needs professionaly and in a kindly loving approach while in CGH for a month +. Also hands on cleaning staff friendly and thorough cleaning the room. Today almost 93 mom is still with us. I have to think with Gods help over the staff attending to the patient. Blessings to you all.

Triage is generally really slow. Even when it’s not busy, expect to wait in line for a bit. Bathrooms are closed in the triage area and when they are open, they are generally not very clean.

First... The doctor and nurses, once called in where great, but... 6 hours waiting to get in is rediculous. We got there at 9:15pm and left at almost 4am. It wasn't even that busy and for what I could see, no real emergencies. So. The doctor and nurses service I give a 5 but the wait time trumps that so I give a 1.

The hospital is good But the parking is very limited and the company impark are totally unforgiving. I have seen where people have just lost a loved one , then they come out to impark writing up a ticket. Even after explaining what had happened , the impark employee did not care.

They have free wifi, so I connected to it. The blonde grouchy secretary told me no pictures are allowed. My phone beeped cause of a game. However before she was so rude!! She sat there talking to the ambulance guy all about non hospital stuff for a min of 20 mins.. I thought they was getting paid to work not socialize!!!!! No wonder people complain!! So the nurses where polite kind patient and the dr was good yes the waiting would have been a lit less if I was seem to. As for waiting in the waiting room it wasnt as long as I expected.

Minus the few bad apples you find at every hospital the staff here are incredible . Compassionate and thourough and they care about what they do . And it shows . Thank-you to the Frontline workers that take the time to be compassionate and thorough. There are many of us out there that truly appreciate your time and effort to make hard times a little bit easier .

While I get that you don't want people parking at the hospital for days at a time, especially in a busy downtown corridor, there has to be an exception process for family who are required to be at the hospital due to a family member who is critically or terminally ill. At that point, the parking stops being necessary and becomes insult to injury.

Emergency room staff should learn some bedside manner if they are planning a long career where people are at their most vulnerable. They are rude, have no manners and treat people whom they perceive as lower class with no respect and no compassion. I've witnessed judgemental medical personnel who are rude and uncaring to certain people while treating others with special care and attention. They seem to pick and choose who they treat with dignity and who they just couldn't be bothered with. I'm actually disgusted at the lEvel of care within the emergency room. I would drive for an hour while in medical distress Rather than attend Chilliwack for help any day of the week.

PLACED OVERTIME PARKING TICKET ON Vehicle 10 minutes before expiry time, while waiting to complete a delayed ophthalmologist in the building, phoned them and as I do not use credit cards for such services due to risk of hacking they insisted I owed them a $10.00 service charge for processing a cancellation of PARKING ticket they would not assist. This was then followed by a transfer to collections notice for the entire ticket! They are a corrupt and dishonest corporate organization and should be investigated and disbarred from corporate registration!
