Extremely poor service in the name of free healthcare. Not a single doctor in sight for more than 12 hours straight. They keep me waiting rooms. The nurses are extremely rude and arrogant. It feels like they take advantage of being the only hospital in town. It’s better to go summerside hospital if you’ve severe pain rather than coming to this place and waiting over here. 12 hours in waiting room and still waiting...

Just got home from emergency I have 2 prolapses. The doctor I saw sent me away with a laxative didn’t allow me to explain what was going on with my body. Didn’t even assess one of them. Didn’t tell me I couldn’t lift anything over 5lbs (which is extremely important with my problem) when I asked as he was heading out the door he said “good question, don’t lift anything you couldn’t with your arm”. I go To the gym on a regular basis I can lift a decent amount ! He simply did not care !!! Didn’t even refer me to a specialist without me asking to be referred. He told me he “doesn’t think they do the surgery I had before” referring to the surgery I got in Edmonton Alberta. If you get Dr. Sampson be ready to be very disappointed and not have any help. He will give you about 4 minutes of your time and interrupt you while you are trying to explain your health problems and hurry you put the door as fast as he can. What can I say I’m not surprised

If I could give no stars I would. Came in early morning to the emergency department with symptoms that were indicative of internal bleeding and sat in a waiting room for over 8 hours, after a few hours of waiting all of the folks that had arrived before me had been seen and they began calling individuals that had arrived long after I had been there. I understand that there are more “emergent” people that can come in after you but the wait time became unacceptable, I believe this hospital truly risked my life. After about 7 hours I went to the nurse to calmly ask her if I would be seen anytime soon and she simply said there were still many people to be seen before me (although all the people in the wait room at that point had arrived hours after me) I will never go there ever again. Terrible.

I wish i could give them no star because they dont deserve a single star. They are doing nothing it seems like park for employees keep chating and eat their stuff. That’s all. Spending 10 hrs here without eating or drinking. Seems like i m in hell
