They're a small hospital with a big heart. I think there is only 35 beds, but the staff are attentive and ready to help you during their busy schedule. Two family member stayed at the hospital, and another 4 were serviced at the ER. Great little hosital!

After waiting five a half hours, still have to see doctor in EMERG. This is typical for this hospital. Inpatient care is great, but outpatient care is practically nonexistent.

Canada has 3 major problems: 1. not enough doctors. 2. not enough doctors. 3. not enough doctors; meanwhile setting the bar of becoming a doctor extremely high, both intellectually and financially.

Horrible wait times. Our outpatient and emergency departments are a joke. Seriously, I had better healthcare in prison. Instead of worrying so much about a new hospital maybe its time we hired actual nurses that can help you and doctors that can actually see the patients.

Worst emergency hospital. Waiter for 4 hours and still they say your emergency is not that serious so people behind you will serve first. If you want to waste time you can come here.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Outpatients is a joke. I was told waiting time would be 2-3 hours and was waiting beyond that time. People who came a while after me with less serious issues were able to be seen before me. If you need to be seen right away you'll probably have to call an ambulance just to get them to see you immediately or just stay away from this place all together. There really should be a walk-in in Montague. This is just pathetic.

A man onced approached this building with pains in his chest. As an acting security guard is always directed to meet anyone who approaches the doors first, they did so. He then got the patients diagnoses of pains in his chest and rushed to the nurses station where he was told tell him they were closed and he had to go to charlottetown hospital. The acting security officer refused to return and tell the man this until that they diagnosed him professionally, and only then did a nurse agree to go and help this man. He was immediately put into the emergy room and was diagnosed with having a heart attack. 2 hours later he was in halifax having open heart surgery. Since then (perhaps 7 years now) I hear they've dropped security all together in favor of the engineers in the boiler room serving as security now... I really hope that level of neglect is being watched more closely now.

Pathetic display of public health service. 4.5hr wait to see a doctor with no one else coming in with breathing or bleeding problems. Just unnecessary waiting for the apparently one doctor on staff for the day. Unbelievable!
