I have been there twice in the last 2 months, and I understand all the low reviews now. First visit was to see a doctor for my car crash. I waited 4 hours, and another 20 minutes in the office to have a doctor mostly look at my knee and POKE IT and in less than 5 minutes of talking to her, she gave me anti-inflammatory prescription and a note to see a physiotherapist.
My second visit I came by to drop off insurance documents for that same doctor to sign. I was asked to sign my section and to leave it with them and that the doctor would look at it. I waited 3 hours just to be told that that specific doctor was not in, and wouldn't be in the rest of the day.
The day after, which is today, I called to find out if the doctor was in. I was told to call back in 15 minutes. I call back to ask if the document was signed, and I was HUNG UP on. I called again to be told that the doctor was not in AGAIN today, and they refused to tell me when the doctor would be in next. I informed them that this was a legal insurance document that needed to be done within a week, and I asked to know if this would be possible. I was again told that they could not give me an answer.
To any of the hospital staff from the emergency section reading this, you are a selfish, un-caring staff that should not be allowed to work with other human beings if this is how you "treat" them. If you can't even give someone some assurance, or even some idea of when an important matter may be resolved than you should not be in a position where you are. I recommend that this hospital should be avoided at all cost until changes are made. Preferably more humane staff.
