This island is very nice and beautiful. I really like it and recommend to visit this peaceful place. They have plenty of things to spend nice time, you can do cycling, swimming visiting cities, plenty of restaurants. Sadly, The only drawback is the price to cross the bridge.

The staff here are highly knowledgeable about the local area and the entire island. If you are just arriving to the Cavendish area stop in and utilize this resource. Maps and brochures (along with computers and free WiFi) are available for your own personal research. I found the recommendations from the staff are bang on when it comes to dining and day excursions.

All things Anne!!! If you love Anne of Green Gables you will love this place. There is a wonderful display on the life of Lucy Maude Montgomery. Interactive displays. A Green Gables house to walk through. Trails through the property.

Here we were a bit disappointed. For one thing, our contact person seemed little motivated and he also could not really help us. (Original) “Durchschnittliche Hilfsbereitschaft und Beratung” Wir haben während unserem Besuch in Neufundland und Nova Scotia viele sehr, sehr gute Visitor Centers erlebt. Mit sehr hilfsbereiten und sehr kompetenten Mitarbeitern. Hier waren wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Zum einen schien unser Ansprechpartner wenig motiviert und zudem konnte er uns auch nicht wirklich weiterhelfen.
