The Roof Hospital was recommended by my insurance company. This company is registered with Alberta Allied Roofing Association. Dusty the owner provided a quote. Manager Jon followed up later and was quick to respond to my emails. I only had to send him a couple. :) Jon also turned out to be just as friendly in person. Jon's crew was very quick to get the job done just as he had advised. I trust that The Roof Hospital did a very good job reshingling my roof.

Roof Hospital came out to inspect a leak in the roof within 24 hours of being called. They identified the problem, discussed what needed to be done. Within 30 minutes the repair had been completed and problem solved. Jesse was Affable, Reverent and very knowledgeable. Without hesitation Roof Hospital would be my first call, should I have any other problems.

No stars This company came to our building. Never contacted back the manager and waited long time to address the eaves in the building. Then one day the owner or whomever came to the manager office mentioning he was in Australia. Nice! In the mean time we were left out in the wind....

The Roof Hospital completed two roofing projects for us in 2011; one our residence and the other our in-laws' home. We remain pleased with the quality of work evident in both jobs. While our adjustor wished to direct us to his "preferred" contractor, we are also satisfied that we insisted instead on giving the Roof Hospital our business. While there were of course a few hiccups along the way, what impressed us the most was Eric Gilbert's speedy response to any issues that came up and for his client-centered approach to business.

These guys came recommended but I'm not sure why. Supposedly quick and organized but not in my experience. I loose several shingles before XMas so I waited until Calgary returned to the office. I visit their website for their number but they suggest using the online form. No response for 1.5 weeks. I call around 4:15 pm on afternoon. A lady on her own who didn't know if they service my area answered but she still books an appointment. Get a call the next morning, "we're gonna have to move this appointment because it was "inconvenient." I've had my roof exposed for 3 weeks now so I said that I'd rather stick to the schedule. He says, "Is it leaking? If it's not leaking it's not an emergency." I say, "It's an emergency for me ... there's a single shingle in the SE corner missing plus we've lost several others recently." I get another snooty call later that day. "The roof was covered in snow and I can't see through snow!" Is this guy for real? He was surprised to find snow in winter? He says, "Can't you wait until spring?" WTF? "I'll just take the quote, thanks." Two days and no word so I text him and he's like "Oh no, the server's down but I'll just give a quote of $1600 for the front of the house." I ask him to add the shingle in SE, like I mentioned. No word for 2 days. I text him. No word for 3 days but then I get a call. "Sorry, I had a sore back. Where's this other shingle?" I say, "it's in the SE corner." He says, "east side or south side?" I say, "East side." He raises his voice, "Hey, I need a visual. I can't send a guy out and have him spend 2-3 hours shovelling off the roof!" I respond, "Listen, if it's too **inconvenient** for you then I'll find someone else." They may be named the Roof Hospital but I fear that's it's more of a psychiatric hospital.

Crews are incredibly unprofessional. Can be observed doing nothing on mon-fri. You wont have your weekends peaceful and the jobs will stretch for months on end. If asked to move their equipment for residents of the complex to move, workers are likely to swear and scream at you. They jump from complex to complex, it's been a month and not a single one of the 10 town house complexes is completed. Workers park in fire lanes and personal drive ways. Negative 5 stars.

I have dealt with numerous roofing companies over the years and I have found that Roof Hospital is the most professional and organized company I have ever come across. The difference with them compared to most others is that they actually care and don't want to just "color it shingled" like the majority of companies. When there is a problem or service issue with a roof, they don't pressure you, but give you your options and let you decide which way you want to handle it. Eric is a great guy in person as well as in video on their website and leads an amazing team of associates, from the office staff to the field! By being proactive, I can keep an eye out for problems that may arise and have Eric's team maintain them before they become a major issue. Keep up the great work!

I am amending my review a bit - although I still think the roof hospital is a good company - I spoke with the President Eric asking to be cc'd on the repair report that was apparently sent to my Board and was told that it was "illegal" for him to send it to me - which is bunk. I need it for my records because last year - the Board chose not to fully repair my roof - resulting in the extra damages now. I understand that my Board is the client and that the Roof Hospital doesn't want to get "fired" but as the actual home owner who is dealing with this crap for a second year running - I should be privy to the report as well. I do hear what Eric is saying - his hands are tied but the fact that he got quite defensive with me was not professional (I felt belittled). He even threw it "in my face" that his guys came out in the middle of the night and went on my roof in the dark "blah blah" which as you can read in my review below - I was extremely grateful for - I did not take that for granted. I am going to chalk this up to Eric maybe having a bad day - all I want this year is to be kept in the loop about the repairs to my roof. Once my roof is fixed properly - perhaps I will amend this again to reflect the work done. I have now used The Roof Hospital twice and both times I have received the ultimate in professionalism and expertise in roofing repair. From speaking directly with the Owner Eric to dealing with the actual roofers - (Joe) - it was a great experience from beginning to end. My call last night for after hours work had two roofers here within the hour, they located the leak from my roof through my attic and then went onto my roof at 11:00 pm in the dark to temporarily seal it until an actual repair can be done. They were awesome to deal with, explained everything in detail so I knew exactly what the issue was and what they were doing about it and the gave me piece of mind that it was being taken care of. I highly recommend The Roof Hospital. They obviously hire only the best tradesmen to work for them and it clearly shows. Thanks guys! Stellar work!

The crews have done great work but chasing the office for 3 to 4 months to figure out where the job is at due to a staff turnover is not my idea of a fun time. Crew was suposed to come in October nobody came. Nobody called and nobody returned my calls. My project manager vanished. Acusing my wife of sending the crew away when they never even came to start with and telling me I put the job on hold when you had no staff to look after and do the job. No discounts were offered nothing. They just keep saying sorry and continue to mess up. Its January 16 3 months later still trying to get an eves done. I recieved an email offer of a $500 discount only if I remove my bad reviews. I have reported them to BBB

Last winter, I noticed there are stains on my bedroom’s ceiling. Calgary Roof Hospital’s technician Joe came to check this issue. After checked the roof and attic, they sent a detailed report and pictures specified that problem is not with the roof, but rather with the insulation. And also they gave the recommendations to tell me how to fix this problem. Last Month I started to plan to fix this problem. I contacted the roof hospital to schedule this project. During this period. I found Roof Hospital has a very good project management and communication system. John(Director of business Development) and Tom(Project Leader) were always available when I had any questions or concerns. They sent me a email to tell me the timetable of this project. Last Monday, their technicians(Joel and Eric) came to install the insulation in the attic. They were very professional, dedicated and thorough. At the end, they did a detailed cleaning up. Thanks, Roof Hospital team. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends. Thanks a lot, John, Tom, Joel, Eric and Joe!
