Awful staff with the exception of one outstanding doctor.
Unsympathetic, patronising, and frequently cancelling appointments without contacting you.
Honestly with the exception of the one doctor, probably worse than a very average walk in clinic.
I get injections that are the only thing that allow me to function without extreme exhaustion, and with my regular doctor away I had to painstakingly wait a week to see someone else, and after driving 40 minutes to the clinic, they tell me the other doctor refuses to give me the shot.
I ask them to ask the other doctors, but an unsympathetic secretary insists the other doctors won't do it (but she refuses to actually ask).
Instead of doing what I requested and actually checking with other doctors she takes me to the office of the one who won't, who then prattles on about how she won't do it. I'm not sure what the point of this was except to aggravate me more. This lady doesn't seem very smart, and seems to be just wasting my time, so eventually I just stand up and walk out.
I ask for my medication back (this is medication that I bought that my doctor held there on my behalf) and they claim they can't find it.
I describe how bad I'm feeling and how I've basically been suffering for a week waiting for this appointment, and they have no interest in making sure I get it or helping me find another doctor - they LITERALLY RECOMMEND I WALK DOWN THE STREET TO THE FREE WALK IN CLINIC AND TRY TO GET HELP THERE.
This is what you're paying for - a bunch of time-wasting, unsympathetic jerks who just dump you to solve the problem they caused.
This is not the first problem I've had with them, either - once I broke my tailbone and couldn't get in to see my regular doctor, but I was in constant pain and needed help. They booked me in with a nurse practitioner who basically acted like I was a drug addict and refused to give me anything for the pain even though clearly taking max dosages of Tylenol and Advil were barely doing anything. Completely wasted my time - had me come in, confirmed my tailbone was broken, then just sent me away. (If you've never had a broken tailbone let me assure you, driving a manual car 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back when you have to constantly use the clutch isn't fun.)
The women in my family have all gotten very very severe menstrual cramps, and I've seen probably half a dozen doctors about it, and they basically just determined it's genetic. So we deal with them by having pain killers 2 days a month that allow me to not be uselessly in the fetal position for 48h. Once I ran out while my doctor was away, and they were going to have a nurse practitioner represcribe them for me, but once again, she dismissively told me I shouldn't have cramps that bad and should probably talk to a doctor about it, and acted like I was a drug addict (over TWO DAYS of light pain killers) and refused to help, just leaving me in pain.
The ironic thing is that if I wanted drugs, I literally work in an industry where I could have virtually anything illegally in less than 15 minutes. So to act like this over petty things is extra ridiculous.
Save your money, and your time unless you enjoy being condescended to, treated like a drug addict, and generally not being helped when you're suffering.
