Beautiful landmark!!! HOWEVER if you are coming here for pictures it currently has some construction of some sort happening behind it with bright orange fences set up. The view on either side of the ruins is also not very pleasant. One side is very industrial with a bus depot just kiddie corner to the ruins and some flat empty lot. The other has an odd blue run down building of some sort that is weirdly close to the ruins? Will need to probably edit the background of photos taken at this location however the ruins themselves are beautiful.

Lots of history to see here! This is the site of an old burned down building where a part of the ruins are still standing. Many people come here to take instagram photos. If you are in east village this place is worth a visit.

Rendell ruins is a beautiful piece of history situated at stamp Ede park. It is popular with Photographers and is kept clean and safe.

Really interesting to happen upon some unmarked ruins in the middle of Calgary. Took some photos, had an odd creepy feeling. Turns out it's the remnants of a hospital! Cool back story.

Neat little place beside the Stampede Grounds with a bit of Calgary History. There is an old ruin of a sandstone structure that once stood here and a sandstone Sun dial. Has some benches and bit of a park area that is a good place to explore or just hang out and have a picnic or something.

It is great to have such a site near Calgary. Looking at the information, it is found that this is the earliest hospital and sandstone building in Calgary. It reflects Calgary’s protection of heritage from the side.

Wife loves to bring her clients here for photos. We did family photos here as well. If you are early enough you tend to have the place to yourself. Later in the day there's usually a few people here. AVOID AT GRADUATION TIME. Super busy, limousines all over. General chaos.
