You will be able to see the feddbacks of people who consumed the services and products of Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre (Hospital) in Calgary (Canada).
At present this business has a score of 4 over 5 and that rating has been based on 67 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is really positive, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we can conclude that the evaluation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Hospital corresponds to the category of Medical clinic.
Positive experience
Audiology reception seems to have a problem with a 17 year old coming for an appointment on her own. Poor attitude and customer service. Go somewhere else if you can.
Very nice, welcoming, unintimidating building and decorated with many plants etc unlike a hospital. The building lay out is easy since it was once the Children's Hospital! We are very comfortable at all my appointments with the wonderful Rheumatologist there.
Love coming to this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The building is extremely clean and the navigation is great. Super calm and quiet environment. Great place to come for your health needs and services. Very positive experience.
I recently went to this clinic to be seen by Dr. C. Barber for possible diagnosis of Rheumatoid arthritis. Not only did she go out of her way to check me and to make sure everything was alright with me but she went above and beyond to help me with everything I was struggling with at the current time. She was incredibly professional and caring, I would 100% recommend this diagnostic and treatment Centre to anyone. She is an amazing doctor and even the front staff was beyond nice! Thank you again for being such wonderful people and truly listening and caring about your patients!
Normally extremely happy but today was stuck waiting for 45 after appointment initially started. DR.Hazzelwood was great but the doctor working with him was extremely stand offish for no reason, and at the end of the appointment he was downright rude. I don’t recall his name but DR.Hazzelwood is my doctor and I’m extremely lucky for that but I’m not the patient of this other guy and I never wanna see his face again.
They cant even take a covid test throat swap without messing it up. Dont get tested here as they will screw up and you will have to be re-tested.
Honestly I've never been here since it's been a diagnostic centre but when I was a kid and it was the Alberta children's hospital the doctors here saved my life. Lots of memories. 5 stars and a thousand hugs.
Parking is very expensive and lots of times full, sometimes when my legs allow it you can park about two blocks behind it. But on days like today when I'm walking with a cane I have to bite the bullet and just pay the money. This doesn't apply to only this hospital but every hospital and medical center that charges for parking for patients is utterly ridiculous. I don't have a choice, especially when I can't walk. Otherwise inside it's fine, the people washing you down and providing a new mask are pleasant and it's clean everywhere.
All staff were nice and always ready to help! Outdoor parking lot is free, you just have to register inside. Took us 10mins to get our booster vaccine!
You wouldn't know it from the outside, but this is a gorgeous building with multitudinous public washrooms, oodles of parking and a clean and peaceful feeling. Every hallway is punctuated with comfortable seating and the main visiting/relaxation area has a distinct Mad Men sort of vibe. The parking IS fairly expensive and I would take a star off but I am learning MOST parking lot prices in Calgary are equivalent to a small car payment... annnnnnnd multiple time frames are offered. You must use a credit card or have exact change. The building is well marked and has many services ranging from Rheumatology and Pain Clinics to a Grief Support Program. There is an aptly named Point of View Cafeteria that overlooks Calgary beautifully. I haven't had a chance to sample the menu but it is a peaceful spot to study or take a break.
I recently needed several procedures done and as an immunocompromised person I felt safe and well cared for at Richmond. The front staff led me straight to my room and I only had exposure to my one nurse and each technician. The entire space was spotless and all staff go above and beyond safety protocol. As someone who has left my home 6 times since March, my anxiety was brought way down by each staff members demeanour and each request of consent before and contact or procedure. THANK YOU TEAM! My 2hrs with you was fantastic because of each wonderful staff member. I will be booking all my tests and procedures there always : D
Very nice people, covid testing here was good and quick!
COVID-19 testing was easy and as efficient as can be expected. The person testing us was cheerful and professional. Everything was done carefully and explained clearly.
Worst experience that how tge government want us to get vaccine if they give an appointment and make me drive 1 hour to get here and they do not have vaccine Im not taking my vaccine because you offer the worst service
If you have trouble walking a great distance you need to bring someone with you to push a wheel chair. This place is not disability friendly at all. The parking fees are outrageous. You should not be charged for parking for at least the first hour. The Lab is grossly overstaffed and yet they are 1 hour behind the scheduled appointments. There is no place to sit in the lab as there are so many people waiting for their scheduled appointment that is an hour or more over due. Why do they have so many people at the intake desk milling arround.???? Avoid this place for labs unless you have a lot of time and money to waste...
Fantastic!!!
Don't like giving bad reviews but need to just send feedback as to how confusing to the COVID testing portion of this place is. There is no information online regarding drop-in. Only found info on outdated news articles from June which said it's open til 7pm. So after driving up there, we found that it's only open until 4:30. We drove up to the rapid testing part, which you need an appointment for but had to drive up and speak to someone to find this out - an appointment only sign by the entrance would surely resolve any confusion there? So the guy directed us to the drop-in centre, with a different entrance, but didn't even tell us it's closed. Finding out vital information about testing really shouldn't be this difficult.
Janet/Jennette (not sure the correct spelling of her name) who works in Dr.Syommond's endocrinology clinic needs to work on her phone manner, improve her sympathetic level toward patients, and most importantly, know how to pick up the phone and return the call when the voice message is left urgent. Assuming her role is about customer service, if she can't think from patients' perspective, she is not doing her job right and also hurting their feelings.
If i could give dr weiss a negative i would. Worthless pos. Dr hazelwood is awesome however very systematic Dr weasel needs to learn a thing or too. Go back to trying to learn basic humanity .
I was there on June 1, 2020 for an ultrasound. This is the week after the CDC in the US finally put out a report that this COVID flu has a death rate that's much lower than season flu, at .26 percent (in other words, 2/10ths of one percent). So, I had to go through being treated like a six year old and wear and mask and wash my hands twice in the same three minute time period. What I object to is the elite, who wander around the place without a mask. They're the special people, I guess. Quite the scary place in that regard. Now, I'm a Crohn's person and have been "in the system" for 53 years. I had a technician this time (I've done lot of these "tests" in my lifetime, been poked and prodded all my life) that brought an attitude with her and ordered me around, and when I suggested perhaps a "please" or "thank you," went right through the roof and just wanted to argue about it. I guess I was brought up differently. It got a lot worse from there. Even Dr. Wilson attempted to get into an argument with me over the contents and findings of the CDC report that she apparently hadn't even read! They added on procedures I had not been told about and offered absolutely no explanation. In the end, they wanted to keep me even longer to do an additional test "out of the blue" that would require twice the amount of time and putting in an IV. Again, no explanation as to why. I gave up and left. Second worst experience I've had in the Canadian medical system over the 53 years I've been in it. Such hypocrisy regarding the masks. They have no idea how to treat people. I felt like a side of beef.
The staff are friendly, professional and got my procedures done as quickly and comfortably as possible.
Linda (I think) in diagnostic imaging (books RFA) is the sweetest lady. She's so kind and always takes care of me and does all she can to help me get my appointments. Couldn't be nicer! Dr. Joshi & Hu are some of the friendliest, kindest, and caring Drs I've ever encountered. The staff who assists them are also incredibly nice
got blood work done and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. i don’t remember the name of the nurse/doctor who did it, but she was young with blonde hair and really nice
Lisa at Calgary Lab Services was extremely helpful. Thanks for making a positive difference!
Dr. Stuart Wiber is the best.
Great staff, very clean facility
Went here for a blood test. Everything went smooth. I wish there was free parking underground.
Have been trying to contact Dr. Martin's office. Phone number listed is for an employee that is no longer there. Dialed 0 for operator- operator never answers Some Internet phone numbers are incomplete
Dermatology clinic was wonderful. It would have been nice if AHS had signage at the front entrance on March 11, 2020 when I arrived at 7:50 am with my elderly mom, to advise people that COV-19 assessments were being conducted. The two women in front of us, were there for the assessment clinic. Scary!!!!!!!!!
Had my first CT scan ever there today, and honestly the staff was AMAZING. So unbelievably grateful for there patience and how comfortable they made me feel with all my anxieties. I can't stress enough how great the staff was!
I waited 3 years to get into the Chronic Pain Clinic, I went to the Explaining Pain and Goals Workshops which were 2 hours long each. At these required group intro shops we were told that we could go forward in group sessions or we could do one on one appointments going forward. I really am not much of a people person and decided I wanted to proceed with one on one. I met the occupational therapist first, she is absolutley wonderful and her tips and tricks to help make my Fibromyalgia and chronic pain are helpful. Then I had an appointment with one of the Dr's there, Dr.Findlay and my experience took a downfall fast! His first words out of his mouth were you wouldn't be allowed to even come to the pain clinic if you lived in the states until you quit smoking! Well thank god I don't live there! Then he went on to argue with me about some xray results that I had gotten from my DR. and physio therapist(I was in a car accident in February), and asked me why I continue to go to chiro, massage and physio if it only helps for a few days. Im his opinion if you aren't cured in 6 visits you are just wasting your time! At this point I was just about finished with him and my blood was boiling! I also have pinched nerves in both my elbows and my Doc is sending me for more tests, he said this was also useless and stupid as we already know what's wrong and I should just stop resting my elbows on tables and stuff(which isn't something I do by the way)! He also informed me that I will have to go to 3 of the 4 other 2 hr group workshops on an ongoing basis, even after I was originally told I could do it one on one. I am not comfortable inn group settings and I will not be doing this either! A hour later we finally came to an end of this "Dr.'s' rant putting me and basically everything that's being done to help me down. I got up from my chair and didn't even say goodbye to this man! I left there feeling very angry and if this is the way he treats all his patients he is in the wrong profession! We struggle with depression as it is, and I feel for some others that may have had to deal with Dr.Findlay and got upset and crying instead of the reaction I had which was ANGER! If they try to book me another appointment with Dr.Findlay I will not be returning to this clinic, there may be other people in this clinic such as my occupational therapist who are very helpful BUT it's not worth going through one more second with this DR.Findlay!
Very professional
I always got flu shot from here.
Excellent care at this location
I use many of the offices here, it's a great place, always clean and welcoming. Internal med/Dermo reception is very kind, the cafeteria offers an amazing view of NW Calgary and Downtown and makes pretty great food and great people. Close to buses and easy to get to. There is a very friendly reception desk here midway through the first floor that are always happy and cheerful and willing to answer any of your questions as well as all the nearby bus scheduales available on a rack right next to it. The signs are easy to follow as well, all in all its a really great facility.
Dr Mosher and all the staff surrounding are the absolute best. Life is 100x better since the first day visiting this facility 4 years ago. Thank You to Dr Mosher and all staff at the Richmond Diagnosis Centre for being competent and professional. ????????????
Awesome hospital!
DR.RUDMIK (E.N.T) Dr. Rudmik boasts incredible compassion, knowledge and skill that determine the most effective course of treatment for each individual patient. His professionalism and unique ability to be present in every moment builds substantial trust and confidence with his patients. Post surgery I noticed incredible improvements to my overall health- specifically in my sinus/nasal function. Dr. Rudmik put simply is an incredible surgeon with an ethical approach to medicine and stellar patient care. This is further exemplified by his constant persuit of education, willingness to listen to his patients and in his many success stories. I am extremely happy with the care that I recieved from Dr. Rudmik and his staff.
My mother was a brief patient at the chronic pain clinic. After hearing about her experience I was absolutely disgusted with how she was treated. Yelling at patients is never necessary, berating patients is unacceptable. Dr Becker and his nurse need to take a lesson in human decency. Could not be more disgusted with how she was treated by the pair of them. What a joke.
