It seems the emergency capacity is 2 person per hour! 10 people waiting, you will be there at least for 5 hours. Avoid this place if you can.

Emergency room wait times are appalling

Krystle Raymond

Left twenty mins after the "estimated wait time to see a doctor" elapsed because I had only been registered, not assessed, not treated, never got out of the front waiting area and nowhere near seeing a Dr. My concern is deep vein thrombosis which can be fatal... Godspeed Also Emerg is filthy. Never saw a housekeeper on shift. Shameful

Went in early in the morning to the ER . Was not too busy, so got in fairly quick. Still had a long waiting time between multiple tests but each member of the staff was polite, caring and courteous. Made my nervous self feel much more at ease.

The nurses were nice and I understand the wait times, but the doctor couldn't care less and told me they wouldn't operate based on him moving my knee around a little. I know I am just another injury to him, but this guy had zero interest. In the end, all they really did was tell me to go somewhere else, a sports injury clinic which told me almost immediately I would need surgery. Thanks Doc.

This review is for Dr. P and Nurse K from the ER. I recall both of your names but want to preserve confidentiality. Thank you for being kind and patient to my dad and myself today. Thank you Dr. P for going far above and beyond. You went out of your way to try to alleviate my dad's concern, the extra effort you put in means a lot to me. Thank you Nurse K who attended to my dad's concern as soon as he brought it up. It takes patience to deal with my dad and I and you had an abundance of it! Thank you guys both for still being kind and patient even when my dad (and perhaps myself as well) became a bit upset towards the end of his stay.(I wish we reciprocated your guy's kindness instead) I truly appreciate the effort you guys puth forth and cannot even begin to fathom the stressful situations that you guys are facing regularly. My dad should have taken your advice and he realizes this now. I think you guys are both a great representation of how hard working and dedicated health care professionals in this province and in this nation are. I truly and sincerely appreciate you guys, keep up the amazing work yo!

I'm sure the medical staff are either extremely overworked or non-existent, because we didn't get to see them after waiting for 6 hours.

Terrible Terrible Experiences in Emerge. Rocky View or Sheldon Schumer way better

Krystle Raymond, The ER is for EMERGENCIES, not CONCERNS. Unless you have a cold, blue ,pulseless leg, go to your GP for a CONCERN. You were triaged before being registered and given a level of acuity. You were probably bumped by that pesky major car accident patient that came in and took 15 staff to try and save their life.

I went into ER the other day and had a really good experience! I was nervous to go to the ER with COVID, but went anyway. The wait time was not very long and the nurses and doctors were extremely kind. Thank you for taking good care of me, and I will for sure come back if I need!

When I admit at the emergency, there were only 22 people ahead of me but the waiting time is 10 hours. I just don’t know what the entire team doing at the emergency. It is totally ….

They saved my husband’s life. He came in on an ambulance and they immediately took him to CT, diagnosed a brainstem stroke and then quickly performed thrombectomy. My husband is now recovering very well. Thank you, Dr. Peters and team!

the male nurse from check in emergency department named ERIC with a beard was very rude and unprofessional. He will look at you and ask you questions and make you feel like you are just acting. We wont come to your department in the middle of the night if my companion is not sick! He is only wearing a feel at home loose t shirt instead of scrub suit. He act like he is sick and tired of doing his job. No sign of care or whatsoever with this man. he is rough during assesment. Do you have a problem bro?? you are not fit to be in health department. The rest of the team were excellent from admitting section to the RN's Doctor inside.

Staff was rude to me. Came with an ankle injury, was not offered pain killers, ice, or to elevate my ankle until I demanded it from the nurses. No apology or sign of empathy. I also waited for three hours even though the displayed wait time was 30 min. Worst hospital experience of my life.

Lorry Nurcombe

No one answering the emergency phone line. Goes straight to recording.

I wish I could give them 0 stars!!To think you go to a hospital to get help and they make you feel worse with how they treat/talk to you. They have signs about verbal abuse is not tolerated but the workers are the rudest I have ever encountered in a hospital. If your hospital has 2.2 stars don't you think you guys should address the situation?

Peter Chang

Went here 1am with severe stomach pain. The staff were rude, and clearly not in a hurry of any sort. The displayed time was 4 hours, and I waited there for over 6 hours before leaving because they started calling in people who showed up hours after me.
