Staff is extremely friendly. The reason I am giving them a 1 star is because I brought up an issue with my cat several times and it was always brushed aside. He had blood in his urine and I was asked to give a stoll sample. Which I did. My poor little guys suffered from a ruptured bladder and passed away because of this. I saw two different vets at this location. Would not recommend

I have tried ALL of the vet clinics in the area over the last 7 years, and after hearing many glowing reviews of Burlington Animal Hospital, I decided to give them a try, despite the extra travel time to get there from Hamilton. It was such a great experience, and I'm so happy to say that I've found a vet that I trust with my pet's life. Every single staff member there is friendly and professional, and the vet we saw was thorough, personable, and clearly loves animals, which is surprisingly NOT always the case. They strive to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both the pets and the owners. I know it sounds crazy, but my dog actually gets excited when we pull into their parking lot. She has not had a single bad experience there, plus she gets along terrifically with the resident dog there, I believe his name is "Dude". A top-notch clinic in every way,Burlington Animal Hospital is the answer to every paranoid pet owner's prayers.

All staff members at the Burlington Animal Hospital are professional, competent and compassionate. The vets have personally called me to follow up on the status of my pet's health, which shows their level of caring and commitment to the animal's well-being. The front staff greet me by name and recently showed such compassion and support when I had to make the difficult decision to have my cat euthanized. The entire team makes every visit a positive experience, and I wouldn't entrust my pets' care to anyone else!

I have been bringing my dog here for almost 2 years now, and I am always blown away by how caring and accommodating the staff is. Both me and my dog get very nervous about trips to the vet, and the staff make accommodations for us every single appointment to make sure we are at ease, and everything always runs smoothly. They really, genuinely care about their clients/patients. The vets themselves are so nice and knowledgeable, and I take comfort with knowing my dog's health is in their hands. If you are dog-crazy like me, and want nothing but the best for your pet, this is the place to go.

The prices are comparable to other clinics I've visited in the past, and I feel that for the level of care my pets receive, it's a real bargain. The current Covid restrictions make the appointments a little different, however the protocols that have been put in place are very good, and the communication is great. The SMS reminders they send for appointments are invaluable. The doctor's and technicians are all animal lovers who don't rush during your appointments. I'm confident leaving my cat Tokes in their care. They didn't mind when I sat and waited for the ultrasound to be finished (pre-covid). They don't rush you out. Such a positive experience.

My kitty Zane has become a new patient of the clinic. As a pet owner I knew what to expect but I was blown away at how the clinic treated me as a client. I’ve been bringing my dogs to this clinic for 12 years and have always been happy until today when they have let me and my old girl down miserably, she is in discomfort, has diarrhea with blood in it and all I get is our system is down, we’re fully booked, we can’t slot you in at the end of the day, they use to be accommodating and helpful now it just feels like they want your money as long as it’s on there terms. I will be using a different vet and definitely not a VCA one!

For over 55 years , I and my entire extended families have experienced the best of Pet care and the deepest compassion with each illness , emergency or with the passing of each pet.. They have always treated our pets as though they are human. I smile when I recall the early days with Dr. Vivian who always had a joke or story to tell and who had such a marvellous way with animals. Of course Dr.s Martin and Coultes were just as special. As they gradually retired , I moved away for a period of 5 years, flitting from one strange vet to another during that time. When I returned to Burlington, I was somewhat reluctant to return to the fully new staff. But , I have been extremely pleased that the newer,younger Vets and assistants are just as concerned and thorough. The last time I went on holiday , I boarded my Kitties with them and received an email midweek,complete with photos of my kitties enjoying their cat tree and toys. She was willing and able to juggle other appointments to be able to serve our pressing need. The support staff were also very caring and professional. In our time of need, VCA staff were the only bright spot during a very difficult and heartbreaking experience. Four weeks ago we made the very difficult decision to have our precious dog, Jesse, put down. He was a big boy, almost 13 years old and the old back legs just did not want to work anymore. He was not able to do all the things he loved to do. We decided to have him put to sleep at home in the living room where he loved to spend so much of his day. His place always needed to be near the front door and the big living room window and it was only fitting that he left this world as peacefully as possible in a place where he felt safe. I can only say from the doctors, to the assisting staff to the front desk staff, everybody was nothing but caring, helpful and compassionate. When we made the decision, we requested it be done that same day and they even went so far as to reschedule appointments for us so that it could be done at the end of the day and our daughter could get home to see him. We stayed with him and comforted him while he left this world and the doctor and staff explained the whole process as it went along and gave us as much time as we needed. I would like to say thank you to every single member of the Burlington Animal Hospital. You helped us through a very difficult time and for that we will be forever grateful. Thank you.

They have provided excellent care for all our pets throughout all the stages of their lives. We have found them to be knowledgeable, thorough and also know when it was necessary to refer to other veterinarians/clinics. They have been responsible over the years, only recommending necessary treatments and tests. They have been extremely supportive and compassionate when our cat and dog became ill and we had to make the difficult decision to let them go in peace. Early this year we moved to Etobicoke, yet we continue to bring our pets back to the Burlington Animal Hospital for their excellent care.

These guys are by far the best vet clinic I’ve ever been too. I’m not one for writing reviews but I feel obligated with how great they’ve been to my little family. Had many little health issues with our puppy Lilo and tried many different vets to get to the bottom of it. After our first visit they gave us everything we needed to get on track and Lilos health improved immediately. There customer service is also amazing and they are very good at making you feel at home. I highly recommend anyone with a pet in the area to come here.

Money hungry!!. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing. But they are not the reason for my 1 star review. As a first time dog owner and after doing much research in vets near me, this one came recommended. However, I do not know how. The male vet barely introduced himself and got right to tending to my new puppy. As a first time owner, I had some questions in which he answered in a way that made me feel completely embarrassed and so small and as if I shouldn’t even have a puppy, he almost laughed at some of them and I felt shamed for asking such a “stupid” question as what he made it seem to be. They took my pup into a room while I was waiting in another and they did a whole bunch of stuff….I was not aware of any of it and just assumed it was the free first time check-up (heart rhythms, nail clipping…) as what I booked the appointment to be. However they decided to run some non-necessary tests without my consent. I was shocked by the lack of communication as well as the extremely high cost of everything (mainly because the most expensive part was the test that wasn’t necessary but they decided to make the call to run it)

The staff Burlington Animal Hospital are awesome...front reception are the friendliest people around! The vets take time to listen to my concerns with my dog (which are many usually) and are not condescending or in a hurry. Definitely recommend. They may be expensive but what vet isn't. Can't think of a reason to give them less than 5 stars.

This place used to be great but we are leaving now. We used to have confidence in the vets but now they seem very inexperienced. Last straw was with Dr Terri who misdiagnosed our cat once again. Thank goodness we went elsewhere for a second opinion. She is very much a salesperson and seems to only care about the money - maybe paid on commission? Pet owner beware and think twice.
