My husband was very ill this past weekend and we needed to bring him to the Mission Hospital emergency room. He remained for over 24 hours while they cared for him. It was a little scary and from the beginning the staff were all so kind and professional. I called twice as I could not stay and was given clear and kind communication from the emergency room nurses. My husband got great medical care and we were able to return home. Thank you so much to the admin, nurses and doctors.

SO impressed by the staff here. From the moment I was greeted at the door by Trevor (screener) to all the nurses helping me out. Very welcomed not like any hospital I've ever been to. Very refreshing and made my experience a lot less stressful.

My partner and I just went to the hospital for an emergency, she tore her meniscus we later found out. There were a few nice people there but the majority of nurses there were extremely rude and the radiologist was also quite rude to me and my girlfriend. From what I could see it was quite busy however, being kind can go a long way. I’m simply asking valid questions to the nurse like what she’s putting into my girlfriend and she is extremely condescending about it and non-descript. I’m asking what it is, obviously I know it’s to relieve her pain. The actual physician was pretty nice, the nurses there were just awful and rude. I would recommend going somewhere else as they all seemed overwhelmed by simple valid questions. We also waited for 5 hours to see the doctor and he saw us for literally 10 seconds, then we waited another 45 minutes to receive the medication. Just take the time to go somewhere else if you can.

This place is a joke. If you actually need help go to Abby, or better yet just drive straight to Vancouver and get out of Fraser health.

I don't usually write reviews but this was so unreal. I have my 4 hernia came out had a really bad pain went to the hospital(because that's what the told me if i have a bad pain to come back) and was seen by the dr Welsh in the Mission ER this doctor has no compassion to u he was asking me what im doing here and what do i want from him he think the only thing I want is the pain killers. No the only thing I want is to be pain free because last two years is the hell for me. I always think that the are thinking that's the only thing i want. He was thinking that I'm drug user this is because i have needle marks on my arm from previous blood works this is the first time that anybody told me that. Even if you think that take a look you can see the difference and don't say it to the patient. Yes i have a health problems but i never was a user off drugs. After i showed him my frustration with him he want to show me his compassion and start to blame the medical system. Are you for real. The only reason I give two stars it's because of the nurses the were really compassion and understanding

Went in at 9.45 and took a number. Last number called was 37. My number was 38. 1 number next to be called. That was mine. Many online res. were called. I waited 45 min before I asked the desk why she hadn't called any numbers in 45 min. She kinda smirked and said it could take 3 hours. REALLY? COME ON. She finally woke up and called the next number. Me. At the time there were 2 desk clerks, 1 lab tech and another one doing off lab tech. Waited 15 min. after registering at the desk. My tern. 2 min. to take 1 vial of blood. Mission hospital lab is not efficient. Maybe they should work ICU and find out how to work.

Transported her via ambulance for a badly injured ankle. ER staff were great, quickly got Dr W and Dr S to relocate a dislocated ankle before transporting to a surgeon. Dr W's work was complimented by our ortho surgeon, and his care likely was responsible for reducing the damage and reducing the amount of after intervention. His dry humour and calm manner and kindness to my wife was appreciated on that terrible day. Hopefully will not be back, but nice to know they are there.

Nice, but small. I used to work at Mission Memorial Hospital and my opinion it is a very nice community hospital. Building a bit outdated and patients rooms kind of small and crowded, but the staff is very good, dedicated and compassionate. Yes, I agree with Alex, some doctors have old-style "I am the God" attitude towards patients and staff, but most of them are knowledgeable and caring.

Worst hospital in British Columbia i have ever seen, there is no rule like, person come first didn’t get first turn. Even, the check-in staff is very rude. Not showing politeness while giving any instruction.

COVID-19 clinic is very well run, clean and efficient. This is a great facility from this base on which to build. The Hospital itself is in need of funding and upgrades.

My son had gotten a very high fever in a short period of time and I went to the hospital and I was very impressed with how fast they had got us in. I am very happy with the way the nurses had treated us and helped my son. This hospital is small and they do seem short staffed but I had a very great first experience and appreciate how amazing they were with my son. Everyone will have a bad experience somewhere at least once, but these nurses were clearly trying their best with the patients they had in the emergency and I am very impressed and grateful for the attentiveness and their kindness towards my son and I.

Had to unfortunately go to emergency this week. I had to leave a review, I don't remember the doctors name but he was a real gem. His bedside manner was amazing, and he really made you feel like he cared and wanted to help you get better. Younger doctor, had some nice soccer style puma shoes on (black and red) I sincerely thank you.

Worst hospital ever. The doctor I had was useless. Nurses were okay...but not very helpful either. Food is disgusting. I never felt like they were there to help me. I would not come back here even if I was dying.

Spent well over two hours waiting with a friend of mine who had kidney stones and in excruciating pain! She moaned and groaned, threw-up several times; she was in terrible pain and should have been attended to right away with pain killers and "iv", but there we sat and waited. They took their "sweet time". A prisoner with injuries was deemed more of a priority than my lady friend. There was only one Doctor on duty and all the beds were full, yet Mission continues to grow population wise and the Fraser Health Board has given priority to the Abbotsford Hospital. Another example of "incompetency at its finest"! Shame on you!

Horrendous experience here in the E.R. Two ladies by the names of Pavla and Heather were the snarkiest pieces of work I have ever dealt with. They will literally make fun of patients right in front of you and demean your needs. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL LIKE THE PLAGUE.

After a previous trip to Abbotsford hospital a few days ago, where I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience, so bad that I had to file a complaint with Fraser health...i went to mission hospital for fallow up and second opinion and had probably the best experience one could have in an emergency room. Not only was I very promptly dealt with, but all the staff were amazing! And i left there with a proper diagnosis and feeling better about my health concern! In my opinion, mission hospital offers the best and most thorough health care! 5 stars all the way!

I would have given a higher rating because the doctors and nurses were great, however the wait time for iv fluids was 9 hours and the next day the staff out front in the entrance were vqpery rude and sarcastic. going to abbotsford from now on.

The front EMERGENCY TRIAGE nurse (with tattoos on her arms) is spoiling the image of the otherwise nice hospital. I can't forget the night of 18th July when, because of that nurse's attitude, I was forced to wait for 4 hours for my known medical issues with the doctors, she was acting as she own that HOSPITAL I was so much frustrated, I just can't forget my horrible experience about that MMH.

Absolutely nothing good to say about this place! Nurses are rude! Doctors are clearly just there for the pay check! Oh and when you actually have a problem they just ship you off to Abbotsford Hospital and tell you they don't have the services to help you! Why are they even there waste of tax paying dollars! More of a 24hr walk in clinic. Because of the service that they did provide me tonight and the rude nurse that clearly did not take in any of her training with interpersonal skills I will never go back! This place is a joke and I will be making a formal complaint to the Hospital! Completely overwhelmed with disappointment!

The staff are generally friendly enough..I was cared for well. However, I found the intake nurse to be quite loud and unprofessional as to keeping discreetness to others privacy and their situations. She even made fun of a young man who was clearly in alot of pain on his backside. This hospital is too small for the amount of growth in this town I waited 5 hours to see a Dr. And the waiting room was still packed when I left at 10pm. I hope there in plans in place for a new hospital how can anyone expect staff to be running ragged everyday and get people hey care they need.

Went there today for my son after having a walk in doctor tell me to go get him a CT scan. The front desk lady smerked at me and said it was going to be a long wait. The tone of voice giving the impression it wasn’t worth their time and I was a idiot for being there. Very unprofessional. I only went because the walk in doctor told me to. After waiting two hours with out even making it passed the first desk we left and went to Surrey. We were seen right away and my son diagnosed with a concussion.

Was at mission hospital this morning. Got to front desk Lady says need to take your blood pressure. I said just to get a cast off. She said yes. What you here for to get cast off you should have that information on my file. Then i went and sat back down. And i heard her say sir your going to be waiting long time and chuckled about it. This is not how you treat people If i had my way she would be fired.

I've been here 3 times and every time I had a bad experience. Improper care for wounds. Staff does not listen to you and avoids questions. Last experience left me in tears from frustration and lack of consideration.

I've been there a couple times in the last month with various family members. It is definitely short staffed, but at least they don't treat you like a walking wallet like at the privately owned Abbotsford Hospital.

I went to this hospital for the first time a week ago and I thought it was pretty good, despite the reviews I read beforehand. There were 2 ladies screening for Covid at the entrance, they were very friendly - I went inside to the x-ray/ultrasound desk and I found the staff very pleasant and they gave clear direction. The technician who did my ultrasound was super-nice, seemed very knowledgeable and put me at ease. Thank you to all of the staff there :)

Worst experience of my life !! Spent 10 hours with getting no help the doctors and nurses just put me to side and left me in pain I had to take out my own IV needle after asking to have it removed over and over so I could seek emergency help right away. I went to Abbotsford and got help right away to find out i had a collapse lung.
