I don’t ever write reviews but I think it’s worth writing one for Dr. Seguin and her team! We had a whirlwind weekend with our kitty and Dr. Seguin came in to perform surgery on her day off and kept such a great eye on him. I have been coming here for years even after our move to Kitchener. We are so grateful for all of their help and genuine care for our critters :)

My Blue Healer "Maddie" went for an eye infection, or atleast looked that way and was being treated. Three visits in, no change, blood work was done came back with an all clear 48 hours later she had passed away. I went into the office told reception my name and Maddie's name and that she had passed, also sent an email re: her passing. I had thought that I would have at least the very least recieved a call to hear or ask what went sideways for her. I guess that when the patient is gone and no more money to be made, I was dead to them as well. Service was great very friendly, helpful at first but after this......

Each pet always received/receives such great care, both for their yearly check ups and when there are problems. One of my cats has some major health issues which are always treated quickly with both his health and my own worries given genuine care and compassion. The entire team is great!

This team of amazing people helped me through the loss of my dog who unfortunately passed from health complications. They were there every step of the way and even made a donation in her name, sent us flowers and loving letters plus there genuine compassion is outstanding. I will start by saying that in the past this clinic has been good to us. We've had no complaints until recently. I feel like typically one incident does NOT warrant a bad review. However, when one such incident is a big one it does. I had called one morning back in April with an emergency. We woke up and our dog wasn't peeing. She was convulsing and shaking and straining to pee. From the sudden look of her I knew it was an emergency. I waited the 15 minutes until you opened to call to have her in. I explained to the person on the phone that I know this is an emergency and we could NOT wait. We needed to see someone immediately. She told me she had nothing for over a week. I told her I didn't have a week. She reiterated that she Infact had nothing. She suggested I find somewhere else to go. We picked your office because we trust you and when we are severely in need we are turned away. I didn't want to go elsewhere. But I had no choice. Our dog was in bad shape. I found a vet clinic that would take her in. Not only did they take us immediately but they cleared their entire day to give a life saving operation to our dog. Without that she would not have made it to the end of the day. So as a result, We; as well as the rest of my family who have pets in your care, have decided we are switching to a vet clinic that is willing to help in extreme cases. Like I said,we've had no issues in the past and you've always been good to us, but I can't risk another issue arising and having to rely on you guys to help.

We have been going to BVC for over 20 years. We have had 3 cats who received amazing care there. We now have another cat and we are very pleased with the care she receives. Yes, there are happy times and there are sad times but throughout all of them, the staff are there to offer advice and comfort whenever it is needed. We will continue to go to BVC in the future.

Dr. Seguin is truly a gift from god. I cannot express my heartfelt gratitude enough for what she and her team did for my cat today. Having a feral cat has been very hard to earn trust, within this year having him we've never been able to see inside his mouth. It was bad. My sweet boy " Charley " was in agony, distress, just an awful mess. I had much difficulty finding ANY clinic in our area and beyond to see him today. Brantford Veterinary Clinic found a way to not only get us in, but perform emergency dental surgery. The care my cat received was exceptional. I felt it easy to put all my trust and faith into Dr. Seguins hands. I truly handed her my heart when I left my cat in her care. She explained everything so I could understand. Her prices, extremely fair. What's more important than money is my Charley is now pain free and will live a much happier pain free life. I cannot thank you enough for being there for us today. We have been taking our Golden Doodle, Lillian to Brantford Veterinary Clinic since she was 8 weeks, she is now 6 years old. They have all been most attentive and caring right from the start. They take the time to explain things to us and never get frustrated with our repeated questions. They are all so patient with Lillian and love her exuberance. Lillian required delicate surgery last spring and Dr. Seguin was wonderful with all of us. They all clearly love what they do and take their jobs very seriously. I have recommended BVC to a number of pet owners in the area some of which already take their pet there and also rave about them. I would never consider take my girl anywhere else. Thank you!

Most recently of a few weeks ago, my cat Buddy, became very sick. Long story short--we took him first thing on the Monday and saw Dr. Natalie. She immediately gave him an iv bag and then took blood work. She gave him medication that he needed. She gave us recovery food to force feed him as he wouldn't eat anything. We returned on Wednesday to find out from the blood work that he had been poisoned. Another iv bag which Dr Cathy gave him. He had his complete 2nd examination. He was so sick and his eye were sunken, and had lost 2 pounds in a few days. I was prepared to let him go, as I thought he was suffering. They gave us recovery food to force feed him and we did. Friday we returned to yet another iv bag, as he was so dehydrated. But Dr. Cathy said, he was better as his eyes were returning to normal. We took more blood. We returned the following Wednesday for the results, which were all good. The fast action from Dr. Natalie and the follow up from Dr. Cathy, saved his life. We believe, that Buddy ate part of a dead mouse that had been poisoned. Due to the quick action of the whole team---getting us in immediately---both Doctors and the vet staff, Buddy is alive and well. He is back to normal. He is 12 yrs old and we hope he will be with us for many more years. We will do blood work when he goes for his yearly check up just to make sure everything is ok. We can't thank you enough for all that you did---he had the best care possible---Cliff and Mary Bingleman
