Showed up at 11:30 am needing an xray on my hand. Waited until 2:30 to get taken to a room. No one ever showed back up. Left at 5:30. Pretty sure they forgot about me.

It’s a small town I know but. As a truck driver cross Canada by far this is the Worst hospital ever been to. There was a woman who had a stroke and she waited for seven hrs. Then she had enough she walked out. disgrace. If you’re coming here you are going to be waiting 5hrs minimum. Just continue to Winnipeg if you want a better faster service

The health center is going through a major change at the moment. If u havent been in a while u might notice the hard non slip floors in the atrium. Pexi glass safety windows around the upper stairs and walkways. The large childs floor on 500 is being transofrmed into a modern medical floor. The new smaller and much nicer childs ward will be located on the back half of 200. With many interactive toys and a hard "carpet" mosaice tile floors. The labs building is now complete and is moved out of the cast clinic. Cant wait!

(Translated) Our daughter was born here, very nice nurse and doctor. (Original) Hier wurde unsere Tochter geboren, sehr nette Krankenschwester und Ärzte.

LONG STORY SHORT (HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE) I went to the emergency room because something was growing inside my right eye. The receptionist lady at the emergency station said it was nothing she could take care of me. So she start touching my face and my eye without even washing her hand. I told her many time I felt really uncomfortable and to please wash her hands. Also I spend 4h at the waiting room.

I've been a patient at Brandon clinic for All my life. Excellent staff and knowledgeable doctors.

Most of the staff don't care about the patients. No empathy and humanity, is sad bad true.

Hospital Doctors and nurses have been doing a good job since the Covid-19 pandemic first began. Also without the support personal from nurses aids, security personnel, cleaning staff and maintenance professionals the daily demands and needs of all who come through the BGH doors would not be possible.

The wait in the emerg was kinda long but not a bad 8 hours come on people it's 2021 normalize all day wait times it's the new 2 hour wait and i liked that the docs were informally straight forward and non patronizing like so many others are but they don't got time to mess around here at Prairie mountain overall a great experience. No im not being sarcastic.

Long wait in emergency. Overall the staff is pretty good here. Though some have the tenancy to not listen to people or get them the help they need (mentally ill/addictions).

I specifically wish to comment on Brandon's Covid Vaccination Site at the Keystone Centre. This marvellous group of dedicated health professionals. So organized, efficient, polite respectful and, above else, professional! Brandon is blessed to have you .

Usually have great experiences when I'm here but if I were ever to give birth again, I would drive to Winnipeg and have my baby there. Worst experience ever in the maternity ward. At a time when I should be happy about the birth of my baby, a nurse named Bonnie who worked in the maternity ward ruined it for me. I wish I complained about it at the time.

waited alone in emerg bed for 5 hours for simple foot injury, didnt even take out stick that was in there didnt believe me there was something in my foot. wouldnt give me water in case i needed anesthesia. r u kidding me. it finally came out after two weeks of missing work not being able to walk. all they gave me was pain meds and antibiotics poison that i will never take. all i wanted was a proper dr to use tweezers for a deep foot wound. no social distancing btw.

Emergency room staff doesn’t care what’s happening in the emergency room and their wait time board is a lie, ignored my seizure and then it took about an hour before anyone would acknowledge me when trying to get information on my sibling who was taken to the er. The only good thing is at least the doctor my sibling had was knowledgeable and pleasant.

This 5 star rating is for the nurses at Brandon Health Center! I went in this morning at 1:30 am (Aug 2nd 2018) with my almost 2 year old son. He had a distended abdomen and a fever, and had been whimpering for an hour or so before I brought him in. The triage nurses were wonderful and blew bubbles to try and distract him from their exam (unsuccessfully, he was quite upset still). We were brought into the examination area about 20 mins later to wait in a bed for the Dr. Our nurse that came in was Jennifer. She was absolutely fantastic with my son and actually was able to keep him calm the entire time. She really took her time with him getting comfortable with the stethoscope (he’s never liked them for some reason) and the other equipment. We ended up leaving 3 hours later as we had not yet been seen by the Doctor and he appeared to be feeling better and was back to his normal adventurous self. Thank you to all the nurses on this morning that were so good to my son! It means the world. PS - I had my son at this hospital two years ago and the maternity ward nurses were also amazing!

Nurses are rude and couldn't wait for me to leave, I felt that they were trying to rush me out and they seemed impatient...not going there again.

Poor medical treatment.

Was in for day surgery on Halloween great experience right to the lady that I had to check in with. Special thanks to pat on her first day on the 2nd floor thank you for making me feel comfortable while wating and for the hug when I needed it. Thanks to Dr Parr and her surgical team for making me feel relaxed just before going to sleep and thanks to the nurse that held my hand in the operating room just before I feel asleep. Great people work there that really care for their patients. You guys deserve a gold medal ????

I've got nothing but good things to say about the maternity ward. The nurses/nursing students were very friendly and knowledgeable. They very clearly loved being around the babies and were genuinely interested in their patients. Dr. Akintola was also fantastic; even though he's probably delivered a million babies, he made us feel like ours was very special. Since we weren't allowed visitors, the hospital staff all signed a page for us and wished us well etc. Great experience

I've spent more time in hospital in the past 3 years than I ever imagined would happen. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about all of the staff including in the ICU unit, the Drs and nurses. Even the housekeeping staff were pleasant and cheerful. I've found it to be the same in the emergency department. Very caring people through some of the busiest times, that I've seen. I'm so grateful to all of them for my life.

This is the worst hospitaI I have been at. They ignore call bells and keep turning them off at the nurses desk. They don't show respect to us patients and your not guaranteed a wash or even a shower/bath. It seems the staff is just there for the money.

Overall more positive dealings with hospital than not. The nurses in outpatient care are excellent. Best possible kind of staff to deal with. The other wards are okay but because they are so busy and often overworked, they have a tendency to be short on patience as well, particularly on the 300 surgical floor. Emergency is efficient and has excellent staff. I just wonder if a urgent care unit would be beneficial to the hospital. Emergency is extremely busy and most times people are like me, they need urgent care but it's not a true emergency. Hence you wait for long periods of time and it's often easier just to leave than to stay. Overall pleased with Brandon's hospital and thankful for the care I received and much thanks to the doctors and nurses that have been involved in my care over time.

My Wife was transfered from Winnipeg HSC for and operation on a broken ankle. She is 74 years old with slight dementia and memory loss and I found the visitation privliges very unfair and upsetting. Winnipeg hospitals have visitation from 8am to 8 pm. Brandon region was 3pm to 8pm. My Wife also had not been in a hospital for over 45 years, so she found this all upsetting. Brandon Regional would not let me her husband of 52 years to be with her outside of this restrictive hours. Very uncompassionate. I was not impressed with their staff in charge of these visitation lines at all

Normally, this place is a good place to go but since covid 19 they have gotten careless. My grandmother isn't in the greatest health at the moment, but having a covid patient put in the same room as her could make it worse. I don't know what they were thinking. Not having covid was the one good thing she had going for her. I hope this opens everyone's eyes and i hope the situation is settled.

Thank you to all the nurses on yesterday morning that were so good to us

The maternity ward. A female worker wearing a green sweater with blonde/grey hair and glasses was the most rudest worker in the building! She approached us in a very hostile way, in the presence of 2 of my children. She told us to go home (we live 2 hours away) or go to the patients home to wait (patient lived an hour away). We had travelled hours away to be in the presence of a birth and was spoken to like she we were nothing. She could have asked nicely but she was blatant and rude. She works on a ward where children are coming into this world and she has the most ugliest attitude ever! My advice to women out there; have your baby somewhere else besides here. She will treat your family with hostility and disrespect.

My recent experience as an inpatient, following surgery, was a great experience. The surgeon, two anesthetists, OR staff, and ward staff on 300 East were all wonderful, caring people. Thank you all so much for your care and compassion at a time when you all are under such stress.

Went for a test. Awesome tech and great interaction. Horrible way to have to pay for parking ahead of time. Knew ahead to have change available but you can never predict how long something in a hospital will take. I know I paid for longer than I was there. Hope this is only temporary. Very inconvenient.

Katia Guzzardi

If I could give this awful place, because it’s most certainly not a hospital a negative score I would. I almost died during my two week stay because of doctor’s negligence and refusal to do life saving tests. They either wouldn’t listen to reason or weren’t capable of dealing with multi blood clots in my lungs, though they claimed to have the doctors and facilities to do so. It was only once I pushed to be discharged and made the two hour drive to Winnipeg where the doctors in Winnipeg saved my life.

So I had a person Into the emergency yesterday and we encountered a RN named Amy who was absolutely spectacular wonderfully mannered and very professional she treated us superbly and with dignity. But even more than that I had no choice but to overhear how she dealt with the person immediately next to us who I have to describe as one of the most difficult people that I’ve encountered in my 20 years In the healthcare industry and she handled that extremely difficult person with the utmost respect and dignity and professionalism even though it was almost impossible to do so Hats off to her she’s a hero! Nurse Amy way to go!

Worst experience I've ever had in a hospital. The doctor on call was condescending and judgmental. I came in with severe back pain and because I have a history of depression (well managed for over 20 years) he would not give me any help or medication with the pain, saying I'd probably overdose and he didn't want that on his record.

Derp Derpinson

Came in with my girlfriend because she is pregnant, they tried to induce her right away without much notice, then they had an on call resident doctor do the induction even though he was not specialized in maternity area, and messed up the induction big time, costing us lots of time and resources, and delaying the pregnancy. Nurses and doctors are not on the same page, one group of nurses will say they will do one thing, then a different group comes in and does the opposite. Their covid protocols are decent, but they say one person per visit, yet I am here watching couples walk in while others are told one person per household, and you best believe the couple's allowed in are white/East Indian. Can't cover it up and say couples are allowed for serious issues only because I just watched a few couples walk in for just "seeing the doctor."

It is Hollible hospital, emergency department is worse waited over 12 hours without follow up ,They made my sickness worse instead of going ther better drive to Winnipeg. This hospital need attention from government. My baby was almost dying bse of neglecting him and I ended up dri ing midnight to Winnipeg at health sciences center is where my baby got a help .worse hospital in canadian history.

Della Compton
