Don't be mistaken as lots of people are, this is not a walk in hospital. It's a residence for veteran's and seniors. It's a very nice veterans hospital and elderly home. The staff I have met are all very nice and make it a great place for the residences.

I am trying to reach the Department of Social Work at Ste. Anne's Veterans Hospital. After 4 efforts at dialing the number, then pressing 9, saying "services sociales" - because the automated system does not accept English at this point... and waiting, a real person actually picked up the phone. Before I finished my second sentence explaining ( en français.. what I needed) she abruptly said, " Vous avez la mauvaise numéro "...and hung up. Helping veterans....please !

(Translated) Rotten psychiatric staff. Ask for a pee test to find out if you have taken drugs. Example: cannabis, opioid ....!? It's funny, I don't know of any other hospital that requires this kind of test. I take opioids and medical cannabis a few `` days '' a year. I am refused psychiatric treatment. after refusing the pee test. Frankly, I have prescriptions for this medication, prescribed by a real professional. I have severe pain caused by severe osteoarthritis. I endure my ailments until I am no longer able to think, to function, I sweat a lot, before going to opioids and medical cannabis. So I would have to risk my heart dropping. (Original) Personnel en psychiatrie pourrie. Demande un test de pipi, pour savoir si on a pris des drogues.Exemple:cannabis , opioide....!? C'est drole je ne connais pas d'autre hôpitaux qui exige c genre de test.Je prend des opioideset du cannabis medicale quelque ``jours`par annee.On m' a refuser les traitementsde psy. apres avoir refuser les test pipi. Franchement,j'ai des prescriptions pour c'est medicament, prescrit par de vrai professionnel.J'ai de forte douleur causer par de l'arthrose severe. J'endure mes maux jusqu'à ne plus etre capable de penser, de fonctionner,je transpire enormement, avant de me rendre aux opioïdes et au cannabis medicale.Faudrait que j'endure mes maux pour avoir droit au service de psy. Donc, faudrais que je risque que mon cœur me lache.

Best long term care for elderly you will find. My dad is a veteran and has been there since 2016 and everything about this place is 5 star! The staff, doctors, nurses, orderlies and volunteers are just amazing and very dedicated. The care they receive is the best I’ve ever seen. The activities are plentiful and the food is excellent! During the pandemic, the level of service never decreased and the measures put in place to keep everyone safe was exemplary! I can’t say enough good things about Ste-Anne’s Hospital.
