A nice place for kids with scoliosis, I had a great physiotherapist when I went there, cheers to Gloria! They also have a nice cafeteria on the top floor, FREE parking for any Shriner patients.

When we found out Isaac had a club foot, we knew we were in trouble. The closest hospital was in Halifax and we live over 4 hours away (non-stop driving which never happens with a newborn) and didn't have a vehicle. After our first trip there, finding out we needed to go weekly (in the winter of January 2015 which was constant snowstorm after snowstorm), the Shriners contacted me and told me they could help. At first, this seemed to good to be true but 18 months later, no one can tell Isaac had any issues with his foot. The hospital staff and environment is amazing. Little things like a snack area for the kids, TV's with disney movies, or receptionists that remember you and take a moment to say hi make a huge difference. Our doctor, Dr.Benaroch is fantastic. He always takes a second to say hi to Isaac before looking at his foot and even after all the manipulations, casts, braces, etc., Isaac isn't afraid of having his foot touched. When you hear that your unborn baby has some complications, it's terrifying. When you realize that the treatment turns you into a medical planner for your child, not a parent, it's emotionally and physically draining but you do what you have to do. The Shriners Hospital let me be a mom again and I am forever thankful and grateful. Thank you!

Best hospital ever I have been, very human oriented, patient-caring, today,actually it’s my first time here with my daughter. We always went to St Justin because of the distance, but frankly, st Justin is disgusting, full of pride and prejudice. I normally don’t expect too much on hospitals, well you know, crowds, waiting time, confusing signs! But but shriners they care about you, no matter you speaks English or French, they welcome you. The system is well organized, always with number, and one patient one file to hold all the way, no messy. Parking, they’ve always considered it, exchange you a pink ticket, free of charge for parking!! For Registration and hospital card, they don’t want you go up and down, back and forth, at the entrance, all Registration is done one time. Nice job and keep going!!!????

Everyone that is giving this hospital 1 star reviews is referring to the montreal children's hospital. Not the Shriners. As the Shriners has no emergency and is strictly an orthopaedic hospital. Anyways, I had 3 surgeries at the Shriners for my scoliosis when I was a teenager. Best hospital ever!

The worst hospital in the history of life Shriners Hospital for Children. My wife and I spent over 8hrs with our daughter in emergency to put a dose of medication on my 6 month old daughter that she needed urgently. There I found a father with his daughter who had more than 12hrs with his little daughter with high fever and no attention. Conclusion A new hospital for nothing.

I was put under the care of this AMAZING HOSPITAL and STAFF in 1960 at age 4 1/2 and stayed there for 39 months, where I was cared for and learned how to walk. I have great memories of this hospital, and staff, I have just turned 60 and will soon celebrate 52 yrs of walking, I just watched tv show that talked about Shriners and it reminded me of all my challenges that I overcame with the help of this hospital. I have been back to Montreal to stop and see the hospital twice since I left in 1977. FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, THANK YOU SHRINERS FOR MY WALKING ABILITIES. although Life has been challenging for me I will always be Grateful to Shriners. Respectfully Bruce Griffiths. Vancouver BC.
