DESCRIPTION

You will see all the reviews of people who buy the services and products of Pierre-Le Gardeur Hospital (Hospital) in Beloeil (Canada).

At this moment this firm gets a rating of 2.4 out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.

You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is quite low, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we can think that the score is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well, it works.

As you know, we don't usually bother to put reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Hospital is included in the category of Medical clinic.

Went there with a horrible stomach pain, all i saw was the nurse 2 times and was offered Tylenol, waited 7 hours and saw no dr, went and see the receptionist to ask what is going on and that the pain that i was feeling is unbearable. I told her i would like to see the nurse but she said i had to wait about 2 hours in the triage line so i told her i will go home in pain and call 911 to go to a new hospital...this was done and i was brought to a new hospital where i was said i had a blown appendix and got surgery right away. This is the second time i go to this place for an injury and both times were a bad experiences. Dignity and respect in todays medical services would be well appreciated especially with all the contributions we make to the government.

How is possible that to see a doctor we have to wait 12hours !!!! Plus they will just give u tylenol?????? I had to go to a private clinic at the end to get to solve my problem ! I pay taxes for nothing !!! This service is the worse ever!

Vesko Petkov

They left my girlfriend in terrible labour pain for almost 48 hours. A doctor couldn't see her because they were "overloaded". This is what my tax dollars are paying for. Disgraceful.

(Translated) I gave birth in this hospital. The staff are very friendly, but even if there is a little complication, they cannot manage. I had very poor follow-up and had to go to other clinics and see other specialists because they were unable to care for me. In no case would I return to this hospital. ????????

(Translated) As everywhere in Quebec, accessibility to care is a challenge worthy of a comic strip. I am sure that in Ethiopia we would have easier access to these basic services. That said, once inside the machine, the care and follow-up is up to modern medicine. Friendly specialists (general practitioner, emergency doctor, urologist, nurses).

waited 24 hours, was so sick for 3 days, fever, pain etc... after a few tests told me all was well, perhaps anti-depressants(as I cried when they had no answers)& sent me home, still coughing up green stuff & from my sinuses, pain in my lungs & this was after my surgery 6 months ago, in which I was supposed to stay 3 days but was put in a hallway with rude understaffed people that wouldn't even help me go to the washroom etc.... the kicker is I still get mail asking for donations! Start actually helping people & perhaps I will donate ....

(Translated) Complication after prostate biopsy at the CHUM. After a phone call to the help center of this hospital, I was strongly suggested to go to the emergency hospital closest to my home. So I went to the emergency center of the Pierre Le Gardeur hospital. Everyone at the hospital, starting with the front desk officers early on, has been great. The nurses at triage and assessment and the ladies at registration were most kind, respectful and efficient. The doctors James Tu and his boss followed by the specialist Dr. Despres listened to my explanations, emphatic, respectful - respectful and with great kindness answered all my questions. The ailments have been properly identified, treated and medicated. It would be easy to write that it took a long time to wait. I'm not complaining about it here because I don't think it's a problem with the people who work in the hospital. It works with what the governments we elect give them. All the people at the hospital that I had to deal with were very, very good to me. Thank you to each of you for everything!

My cousin has been waiting to be checked out since approximately 8 at night, it is now 6:41 in the morning and she's in a more worse condition then she was last night. The doctor that checked her said he'd be back in an hour and has still not given her any results, avoid this hospital at all costs the only way you'll ever get checked is if you're either gravely injured or have a tiny cold and even at that you'll probably still have to wait hours on end. It's a shame that this is what my money gets, slow aid and delayed results.

Yasser Canada

Funny emergency, one doctor for everybody,a waiting average of 8 hours minimum...better have to die at home close to lovely family...poor canadian medical system, you're too far from europe, even Cuba

(Translated) (sorry for my French) Honestly, it was the worst, but the worst hospital in the emergency psychiatrist section! I had finally agreed to seek treatment after the number of times my friends, family, spouse, and school recommended me because I was starting to feel bad and wanted to kill myself due to xyz reasons for my depression. The 1st night, I had not received my prescription (my meds) because the doctor forgot to prescribe me, so I had a big sleepless night with 100% stress on the mat. In short, panic attack and after that, I was transferred to the psychiatrist's room and I JUUR YOU, the nurses were not understanding and when I wanted help, that is to say to talk about it morally because that a person with depression also needs to talk about it. Anyway, I went to see the nurse to say that I was not feeling well. I needed help and the nurses thought I wanted meds and they cut me off to say they didn't have time for me shouting at me and at that point I'm starting to regret to seek treatment and my thoughts of suicide were higher than usual. Most importantly, I was about to self-injure myself with a plastic knife, you'll laugh about it, but plastic knives have teeth, so I could self-injure myself based on cutting crowd quickly. So there you have it, I don't recommend going there.

My father was in Paliative care and they say they provide support and compassion. Well there was NO support. My Mom was left alone after he passed and all the nurse said was ‘oh he has no more pulse, my condolences’ and she walked away leaving my mom alone. Luckily i arrived and we spent the night with him and not once did they come back to see us. I am disgusted on the staff who work in this department....very disappointed.

(Translated) Tuesday October 5, 2021 9:15 AM I went to the walk-in with my request for RX at Medical Imaging. The lady at the reception of this department behaved really inadequately towards me but also towards the lady before me! I give her my request and she replies that I will have to wait for hours I tell her that I understand and that I would have preferred not to clutter the waiting room but that I will wait, that's okay. She starts to raise her tone on me…. Yeah, you could have gone somewhere else there So I ask him Well or !? My request is entered. I can still go to the hospital !? Well yes let's see (I barely hear the rest of what she says to me) I told him can you write me the address or the place I don't want to disturb! She repeats to me what she said (I'm not sure I heard correctly so I lean down to hear better and suddenly) She screams the address really loud ???? I left immediately and went to get a complaint form and it hadn't been able to I asked the reasonable person and wouldn't provide it! The worst part is that this is not the first situation I have experienced at this establishment! I hope they will make some changes because to be treated insi is no i abide by all the health rules and i am welcomed insi ... ..

(Translated) Very disappointing and unacceptable experience within the "day surgery" department of this hospital !!! - At first, no parking space available, we had to park far from the enclosure. - Subsequently, an endless and useless wait !! I was asked to arrive by 11 a.m. as my surgery was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. To make sure I wasn't going to be late, I arrived at 10:30 a.m. and finally got back on board at 4:30 p.m. or 6 hours later ... In the meantime, after all the hours of waiting, I I had nevertheless been transferred to the OR to stay there for an hour, under stress, cold, fatigue, hunger and dehydration, having been fasting for more than 19 hours. I saw a lot of people pass in front of me, imagine my frustration ... Having said that, I don't know how they manage their priorities, but a lot of older people have walked past me for minimal surgeries. While no one deserves to wait unnecessarily, I find it disrespectful to put patients through this. My partner and I not only lost time but also a day's work. In short, all this time wasted due to poor management and overloaded planning. So, stop scheduling multiple surgeries when you know that in the end you will have to return people to their homes after several hours of waiting ... it's scandalous and above all very disrespectful !!

(Translated) Day surgery: second stay in this department and frankly it's very ordinary !! Nurses are dumb (most of them at least). My first stay was for a miscarriage ... and no (but NONE !!) compassion! as if I was there for an ingrown nail! Moreover, they call it an abortion. It would be better to use the term miscarriage, which takes away the voluntary side of the thing !!!! Second stay: laying tubes for my son. I asked to warm up my son's bottle, I had to call a nurse 3 times while I was near her but she was on her computer. She never looked up !!!! Then she came to take my son's temperature and her colleague joined her to criticize another nurse in front of us ... Ladies, please keep your criticisms and states of mind between you, it is inappropriate and we are crazy !!! Do not even think about going to this hospital. People bring pillows and blankets because the wait times are horrendous. Sadly enough nothing gets done. Forget about getting there by ambulance and thinking that will make you advance in line as it will not be the case. The one line that worked for me was, "I think that we will go home now because it has been over 12 hours and we have not died yet." This was after having a heart rate of over 150 bpm and bruises all over my body... long story, but you should see the other guys...

Meanwhile in the ER there was 5 people waiting between 1am and 5am and no one was called. I've been at this hospital several times in recent years for different reasons and this is a good hospital once you get passed triage. It's the ER that offers a terrible service with unacceptable waiting times to see a dr.

(Translated) I was hospitalized for 12 days with peritonitis. I was very worried about the pandemic as well as the dire shortage of staff. I can assure you that I received excellent care from the doctors, nurses and attendants. I was lucky to have an excellent surgeon Dr Bourbonnais, I cannot thank him enough for operating on me so quickly. Beyond his skills, he had a benevolent, reassuring, human side and when I asked him to return home, he explained to me that if there were any complications at home, I should go back to the emergency room. and start the same process again. I imagined myself in a cubicle again and feeling guilty for ringing the doorbell for a phone to reassure my partner when the staff were running endlessly to treat the most patients. My surgeon could have accepted my request and the bed would have been available for another sick person, but he was keen to return me home healthy. On days off, he left me with a caring doctor like him. I have been home since October 15th and am now in perfect health. I remember dedicated people, an attendant who bought combs to untangle the hair of her patients. A nurse who cleaned me up and put bonus cream on me for irritation as there were only two very busy attendants that night. The smiling "ray of sunshine" nurse who introduced herself telling me that she liked my name very much, she was in gradual return and I would have liked to have her on my two worst days because she was happy and m did good, I felt she loved her job. A smiling maintenance worker who sanitized everything. In addition, I ate very well 3-course meals, butter chicken better than in a restaurant, tender meat that melted in my mouth, a fillet of salmon with dill sauce, exquisite desserts, all this good food has helped me gain strength. I do not wish to be hospitalized anymore but I now know how it works. I know I can go get fresh water at any time, I can walk as long as I want in the hallway to stretch my legs, my favorite is the one who has seen the interior gardens. Thank you to everyone who makes a difference by taking care of us.

I was suffering from an uncontrollable head and neck pain and went to a clinic. The Dr. who examined me gave told me that it was urgent and I should go to the hospital immediately, wrote his findings on a prescription and told me to give at the hospital. They did not care, told me it was a migraine, gave me tylenol, and said I was code 3 and would not be too long and if anything changed to go and see them, After 2 hours the pain escalated, waited to see a nurse for 1 1/2 hours. Again she said nothing she can do and another 2 tylenol. She said my file was already sent and it should not be too long. I arrived at 4 pm. At 2 am, I was in unbearable pain. I saw the nurse, who told me to wait for another evaluation 1/2 later still no one. I went to the admissions and ask how long before I see a Dr. He told me my file was still a the triage. I told him that If I could not see a Dr. shortly I would leave and he said ok you can leave. I asked for my hospital card back and as well the Dr's note and I called someone to pick me up because at that point was no longer to walk let alone drive. I went home for a few hours to rest and went elsewhere. Last year I spent 24 hour at this same hospital with my 82 yr old mom. Despite me asking several times when she would see the Dr and getting an answer, we don't really know, 24 hrs later I was told they forgot about her????seriously. sta

Worst hospital I have ever been at. I went to the emergencies and felt discriminated over my ethnicity (Latin American) because I was very ill and I saw a LOT of looking-healthy people coming in and being served before me. I asked the nurse why it was like that and she told me that they have a priorization system etc. and that, after having waited for 4 hours, I should expect to wait for another 7 hours. I didn't see a reason why I was passed after people just coming in and who were visibly in better condition so I asked if it was not because my last name is not from around here, the answer was "no" as expected. I decided to buy lots of tylenol and wait until the next day to see a doctor from the private sector (best decision I did at the time). I have heard bad stories about this hospital so I suggest to avoid going there and more if you are from a visible minority (even if you are not the hospital is badly organized).

(Translated) Never seen such a slow and poorly organized hospital. It's been more than 24 hours of waiting in 3 days for my wife who has severe pain in her stomach. Instead of making us pass all the tests at once, the doctor asks us for 1 urine test for 3 hours, then a blood test for 3 hours then an ultrasound another 3 hours, then an x-ray scan then another 3 hours of waiting (without count registration, waiting in the main emergency room) ... All this spread over 3 days !!! Not only does it never end, but we still don't know what my wife is suffering from !!! Instead of making him pass all the tests at once and settle it in 1 day ... they do it one step at a time and you have to wait at least 3 to 6 hours in any case ... We hear them talking and have fun while we wait in the waiting room ... at the moment we've been waiting for the doctor for over two hours (his name has been called and normally it shouldn't take more than 30 min before let the doctor come). My wife and I slept 7 hours in 3 days ... I recommend you go elsewhere unless you are very very patient! (Translated) If only I could go to the negative. Where to start, I went to the emergency room, because my girlfriend is extremely depressed and anxious with suicidal thoughts. First the doctor told us that he would go see a psychiatry to see if there was a place for both of us (because she was really anxious about sleeping alone in a hospital) when he knew very well that he neither had no visitors at night (doctor Tu). Then when we heard the news with a lot of arrogance from them we tried to leave and come back in the morning but they locked us in the consultation room while my girlfriend was having an acute panic attack. They gave her medicine supposedly to make her sleep, but actually made her obey everything they said and even hallucinate her. Everything was done to bring him by force to the psychiatric wing (in a small 2 meter by 3 meter room without a window). The doctor told me, her mother and herself that during the night if she needed someone to talk to they would be there. All night she asked for someone to come and reassure her but no one came, so she only slept for 1-2 hours and spent the rest of the night thinking. For someone with suicidal thoughts and very anxiousness who has just been brought against their will to this room it can destroy them from within. Then during the night we called and they told us that we could come at 8 am to see her in the end they did not let us in. End of story my girlfriend is completely traumatized from this experience with the liar and manipulative doctors with my girlfriend as with us, her relatives. And how can I forget the nurses who judge my girlfriend when she tries to explain them, who take no account of her needs, and who, you will laugh, breaks professional secrecy. In fact I advise anyone if you do not want your human rights to be violated. Go for a problem and you will come out with your problem and trauma. Doctor Tu, don't be fooled, he particularly likes lying to his patients and their worried loved ones. They are not human, absolutely not.

Worst hospital in Quebec I sent something to the lab to get tested and they never got back to me .The emergency room is ridiculous unless you are literally dying on seen you have to wait minimum 9 hours before you see a doctor it's a shame a modern hospital has such idiots working there. I had gone in for chest pains the nurse told me to go home because it was probably anxiety I waited to see the doctor and was diagnosed with inflammation around the heart good thing I didn't listen to the nurse.

Kaitlynn W

If I could rate this hospital a 0, I would. The wait time for the ER is terrible. Seems like there’s only one doctor on call. I’ve waited many hours, and they won’t even help you much with pain management. And the nurses need to find some bedside manner… no advocacy and just rude! Avoid this hospital if you can.

Horrible experience, waited 6 hours to see a nurse at triage and was told that it would be at least 12 hours before I see a doctor... Was treated like a second class citizen because I wasn't French. We went twice to the emergency ward and both times we waited only about 6 hours and both these times were on the weekend (Good Friday and Mothers Day) when I think they may have less staff.
