I would just love to say that the food was absolutely divine, just like my grandmother's homemade cooking, you got your own room, the mattresses were thick and you got your own sink and radio in the room. I like their idea of six meals a day, breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and evening snack before bed. The showers were warm as opposed to cold like RDP, infact, they're really warm. They have a barber shop, a great assortment of board games and magazines and a comfortable TV room with a flat screen TV, great sound. They have an art therapy room, a computer room, a gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor garden, basketball court and massive football field. The staff are caring, compassionate and attentive. The only down side was that I never got to try out the pool, you can't smoke inside or even outside in the yard and they got rid of the canteen, but overall, a good experience in a four ???? hotel for bad guys. I would've given it five, but four is more accurate to what I thought of the place. Excellent security measures with the sealed and fortified windows in the rooms to prevent patients from jumping or climbing to the roof and the key in the elevator to make patient escape to another floor, even harder. One of the female interns was so pretty there, with the blonde hair, that used to come in and pop all my back zits and apply ointment and how Pierre would watch TV in the living room and hang out with the guys and throw us a can of axe to rid the room of ratchet BO. Kudos and props to the quality of care at The Pinel and also, they even ordered Chinese food for us one day. Michael John Franklin of Dorval and United States Marine Corps Approved and Accredited. Thanks for the excellent care and attention I received on the H4 ward for the two weeks I was there, back in November of 2013. Very Professional and courteous and respectful to patient's needs.
