(Translated) Wow ... No one has ever spoken to me so rudely and with such arrogance on the phone ... We understand that when we call over there is that there is something and not to offer to sell cookies! And from what I read there are several stupid ones. If you aren't empathetic enough to help answer a simple question over the phone without being pushy and making the other feel bad, what are you doing in health care? You should instead go to work in a back-hall office without contact! (Original) Wow....
I’m alive thanks to the Doctors and staff, amazing work
Operated for a knee replacement the operation was a success, the care given was outstanding thank’s to Dr. Malo and his team. Very attentive nurses, supporting staff was efficient and well mannered, I would strongly recommend this hospital. The only reason I did not give a 5 Stars is because the building need some TLC. Merci beaucoup a toute l’équipe. ????
Paid 500$+ for a x-ray a few months ago... never got the x-ray, never talked to a doctor, no contact from hospital afterwards. Money down the drain.
(Translated) A big thank you to the entire emergency team for the care provided during my hospitalization. Despite all the constraints in the health system, I have had outstanding care. The rudest staff, the longest waiting time, and the worst human humiliation. Coming here was the worst mistake
(Translated) After an operation (ostomy) we are 3 floor. When we call the staff (bell) they do not come, it takes them 15-20 min. We can die of pain. But the chatting in the corridor is going very well, sometimes even on a cell phone. What are the managers doing? managers? put on your panties. !!! this is unacceptable! We ring, we ring. What are they doing???? They laugh loudly, speak loudly at night, they tell their stories. We can't even sleep! We're sick! a little respect please. My father couldn't take the pain anymore and they don't come, he can't get up and then he calls you aggressive at the slightest gesture that my poor father was still able to make. !!! c'Est inacceptable! On sonnes, On sonnes. Triste
(Translated) I was afraid since the story of the beginning of covid-19 it was 2 years I had not made an appointment with mets specialist who follow me for my accident was it was time that I think over my fear .. ... never in my life since the time I go to hospitals, we can say a real regular for 20 years even with appointments I had never come close to calling the time of my appointment always hours late ....... The story of covid-19 to you just brought bad but on the contrary good finally I just had time to smear in the waiting room and it was the first time since the dawn of time I came back not finally it happened they called me at the exact time of my appointment (Original) J'avais peur depuis l'histoire du commencement du covid-19 ça faisait 2 ans j'avais pas pris mets rendez-vous avec mets spécialiste qui me suivent pour mon accident était il était temps que je pense par-dessus ma peur..... jamais dans ma vie depuis le temps que vais dans les hôpitaux, on peut dire une vraie habitué depuis 20 ans même avec des rendez-vous j'avais jamais passer proche de faire appeler l'heure de mon rendez-vous toujours des heures de retard....... I can't even give this a one star. After brain surgery, I was unable to walk and was in ICU for 24hrs. The treatment I got there was horrendous. The nurses were rude and backbiting me the whole night. And they were trying to make me believe …
Beautiful hospital with very friendly people!

Heartless staffs I've ever seen..a friend had her pregnancy visit at plein Ciel clinic they told her no heartbeat from her baby and transferred her to coeur sacre hospital we waited 7hrs to get an ultrasound and end up sending her home to come back in the morning knowing exactly that the baby died in her womb.

(Translated) I will never set foot in this hospital again for a childbirth. I had my baby there in April 2020, it was the most traumatic experience of my life, I was deprived of the happiness that comes with being when you first become a mom. The mother and child unity is a real disaster.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was in a hurry and chose ones of the nearest hospitals. I should have read the reviews because this hospital service is horrible. The staff are not friendly at all, they do not care about their patients. I got a blood test after 6 am after being there at 3am. I then was told he’s later that I was next in line. That’s been 2hrs of me waiting and still not served. I told the nurse that I am going to leave because my child and I have been sleeping on the chairs and it’s uncomfortable and the wait is too long. She shrugged her shoulders and said that’s your choice mam. I stayed another 2hrs and still not served. 10+ hrs there and I left.
Worst hospital ever. After 6 hours waiting, just told me there are only 2 doctors available. They still don't call me. Please don't come for an emergency!!!!
The food is disgusting
(Translated) I would like to draw the attention of the management of client services at Hôpital Sacré-Coeur to the fact that the washrooms where we must go to collect our urine samples are not fitted with a hook to hang handbag and coat. November 2017 I have no choice but to carry out this operation without keeping my winter coat on my back. The management team that ensures at least rudimentary "comfort" for patients should try the experiment to understand the total discomfort of this exercise. I describe it to you: Personally, I had to hang my purse on the small button on the door lock and invoke the sky that my bag does not fall to the ground on the soiled floor. Then, very uncomfortable with my winter coat slipped on as if I was going to go outside since I had no hooks either on the door or on the wall I proceeded to the required steps: The pants lowered to the knees, urinate in a very small glass of very poor quality plastic before meticulously pouring a small amount of urine into a tube whose opening is barely as large as a 10 sous. When I removed the small plastic glass that had broken further while I was doing so uncomfortably, urine spilled through the plastic slit on my underwear and pants, not to mention the floor that drank just as much. The tube transfer operation was another adventure that I would have done well. HORROR, WHAT! Just because the management team that has to make it easier for us has failed to THINK A LITTLE BIT ON PATIENT COMFORT. Do they expect us to have urine samples taken absolutely accompanied by a second person who will waste all this time strictly to ensure our coat and our handbag while only one hook on each door would have been enough? And winter is just beginning! How many other people will have this bad experience during the coat season ?????? I hated this experience which certainly increased my pressure because of the anger felt at the time against members of management who do not know how to put themselves in the place of patients, i.e. adopt an emphatic behavior. How much does a hook on each bathroom door cost? Tell me and I assure you that it will be my pleasure to send you a donation of $ 100.00 for this purpose. I promise you !

Very good hospital . My wife gave birth to us a baby boy 2 days ago by c-section , staff was amazing , doctors were amazing , nurses ext .. everything was perfect . Only thing rooms were old , but you can’t have everything .
I had a panick attack (first time in my life) and I was not feeling well at all. I felt scared cause I did not know what a panick attack was, I was worried to not make it. I went hospital 5 p.m. and it was only the next morning around 9 a.m. that the doctor took me. LIKE?? IF you know your patient will not see its doctor before the next day, at least tell them so they will not spend all night in the waiting room, not sleeping at all. This is ridiculous. So, take care of yourself cause hospitals do not care.
Personnel were fantastacular !! In general I was impressed by all around aspect.
(Translated) I have always had excellent service especially when it is urgent. When they diagnosed me with breast cancer in 2004. I at the same had a biopsy on December 23 pm It was urgent I had an operation on January 4 or 5. I unfortunately had 7 cellulitis in my left arm again very recently on April 14 Saturday pm operation they brought in a doctor, I thought it was the flesh-eating bacteria due to the pain. luckily it wasn't that but everything was there to think so and severe rash. I have the impression that the Lord was looking for me as I went along. All this to tell you that when there is an emergency the teams are there and if you wait it is the reason that there is someone who needs urgent care. Keeping track of your file and asking questions is important. good luck and thank you to the emergency team and the hospital service. Quite fast, staff is absolutely a joy and professional.
Worst hospital by far, it's unimaginable how they are unwilling to accommodate any of their patients or actually care about their well being, did I mention they do not speak a word of English! How is this even possible or acceptable in this country! Thank goodness for my parents that I was there for them if not they would treat them like animals. At first when I saw all the 1 star reviews I thought maybe people were exagerating, but oh boy was I wrong! Stay away from this place! Go to the Jewish instead.

For a broken hand (with bone misplaced) , 3 appointments at 1030 external clinic at Sacré Cœur hospital. The first one, the doc wanted to wait before surgery, the second one one week later was just a joke. Just before the appointment, they allés me to tell em the appointment would not be in person, and so I had to argue I needed an x-ray, so I needed also a face to face appointment. They finally told me it was a mistake with my file.. Si I went to my appointment. After waiting more than one hour for yh x-ray, I couldn't see the doctor because he left the hospital, and they proposed me another appointment 10 days later... So I had to object because I didn't want to wait that long..and they gave me an appointment for the next day with another doctor. The appointment was at 9.30, it's 10.15 and I'm still waiting even though they don't see people from emergency.. It's not really a big deal because it's just a broken hand, but I was wondering if it was more serious.. Would the service be the same?

I think this hospital has the worst emergency section I've ever seen with the most uncaring nurses , uncaring doctors and uncaring receptionists... They couldn't care if you're alive or dead , it almost seems like a burden for them to help you... The worst hospital I've ever seen.
Came in with my Dad at 12:20pm he had and appointment with specialist at 1:20 and now its 3pm... I'm still waiting it's ridiculous imagine waitting that long with someone who's 80 years old and just want to go back home ... Worst hospital ever!

(Translated) Frankly bad bad bad experience in this hospital I spent more than 2 weeks there. When you call the nurses they take at least 20min before arriving in your room you even have time to die before they arrive. In any case, to see a doctor during my entire stay it was complicated, to have certain medications that I was already taking at home, it was complicated, I was told all the time we waited for the boss's agreement ????. Even to take my shower I needed a doctor's permission. I took my shower there on day 13. In any case, I don't think I'll set foot there again ???? Waiting time is super long. Secretaries very rude. Doctors/nurses chitchat even though there is a huge lineup. My appointment was at 9:30, was not able to get to see the doctor even thought it has been 4h. This is crazy. Lack of professionalism Doctors arrived even later than my appointment, and start to chitchat, taking his time. This waiting time situation could be so easily improved if professionals stop chitchatting during work hours and start focusing on their patients instead.

We are so grateful for the care we have received at this hospital after my husband suffered a stroke. Everyone was so nice, efficient and helpful. We always felt we were in very good hands.
This doesn’t deserve to be hospital, Unhuman, heartless doctors who values money than a life of a patient. You pay and wait for the doctor from the morning until 4pm.????

I recently spent 24 consecutive hours at the Emergency, accompanying my mom. It was quite an experience. Waiting there can quickly get boring, so I had no choice but to observe all the staff, at various levels, doing what they usually do. After a few hours you start noticing little unremarkable things that they do, and soon you realize how everything works in perfect harmony. I saw many patients getting impatient and easily irritated at relatively small things. It's quite human, they needed medical help, and I felt bad for them. And at the same time I saw how all the staff did their absolute best to remain respectful, polite and human, even in face of difficult situations. I am amazed at what I witnessed. I highly recommend this hospital for emergency. Their staff is nice and helpful, throughout all the 24 hours per day.

20 hours wait before we could leave. Low priority I guess but still. Saturday March 17 2018 4p.m till Sunday March 18 7a.m. to see a doctor. And we are not done yet. Are we in Siberia? -70 rated service? And Couillard Gov., is giving 1.5 billion to his specialists friends, and the services are getting worse. Hail Cesar.
Wonderful place to stay.

waited too long, my wife is in an emergency because she is about to lose her baby. we were there at 4pm in the afternoon we finished at midnight. he's asking us to go back to the hospital at 9am as an appointment. we have arrived but in expectation of the same. I understand that there are other patients, but each section they made us wait. every time we ask for staff there they send us anywhere just to avoid us. my wife ended up picking up in the urgent room around 4 p.m. she lost the baby and stayed in hospital overnight. during the day he gives the doctor a hospital leave and doesn't even come to see her. she asked to reverse her stoppage paper, nurse gives her a number for her to call the doctor. the next day she calls but the hospital staff transfer her everywhere and he says he will call her back but it never happened. I am really disappointed with the personal service there.
If I can, I will give this hospital a zero star. The worst hospital I have ever seen ????
I wish if there was minus stars so I can give this hospital. One of the worst hospitals in history The waiting time is forever You probably die before someone sees you I think it's there strategy, either you leave because you decide that your life doesn't worth this amount of waiting or die waiting so they don't have to see you then. Both ways go with them. And actually, I don't know who is worse, the staff (doctors & nurses) or the hospital system. With BP > 175 for more than 5hrs on a patient has usually BP of 120, they didn't even bother themselves for ECG or blood test. They wanted to give incision for the pain IV, they couldn't open the veins after 3 tries, It never happened with the patient before. In conclusion, dying at home is better than going to this hospital.
Worst hospital experience of my life .... If I could give them -1 star I would love giving that to this hospital emergency staff and specially to nursing staff ... I visited this hospital with my swollen ankle in emergency after a week of my road accident... The nurse check me up at 11 30 am and ask me to wait in waiting room outside at 5 pm they call me again and this time nurse check me again ask same questions .. I told her I have been waiting out for around 5 hours and she proffesoinly replied maybe it can couple more hours and only thing she can do is that she can give me appointment of some expensive clinic in downtown MTL if I like ... But as I wasn't insured and it was road accident the clinic can't attend me ... So I got to wait like for 10 hours with my swollen ankle .. Even after SAAQ was covering my med bills in this hospital, but they just want me to see doctor in clinic which SAAQ won't cover ... So I have to wait in waiting room for 10 hrs mayb jus because medical proffesoin is started getting into color of money ... Pls if u Hav choice don't get inside of this hospital

In 2017 While at the window "girlfriend" was looking at outfits online then came over to the window loudly slurping on a McDonald drink. Then she spelled my maiden name wrong which was clearly on my Ohip card. I guess they are only rude to English speaking visitors. Absolutely rediculous. As far as cleanliness that's another issue (very dirty). #justsaying #miduntalk Emergency room Inscription staff extremely rude to English speaking people! Some form of Language segregation! I don't get it, it's 2017. People working with the public should be bilingual or have a translator! Visited 2 times! Not impressed. The waits may be long in emergency, but if you are really ill, this is the best place to be. The doctors and nurses are superior both in knowledge and bedside manner to any other hospital I have dealt with. The facility is old, but clean and well equipped with pretty well every specialist possible. The communication and protocol procedures that are in place are top tier. The preposes are just okay, overall. Some are amazing while others have found a way to work the system and should be fired.
Good service and best doctor. I’m happy this hospit staff.
Super long wait, staff actually misplaced my file and if i didnt go see the nurse myslef would still be waiting! First and last time.

I arrived at 4:45 p.m. At 6:15 p.m. we had a patient who had an appointment at 6:00 p.m. I left, because I was in too much pain and after 1h30 with a mask in a small cubicle of 6X7 feet (for 4 people) where a woman coughed constantly, it was too much. In addition, I just saw on the Quebec health record that the person wrote that I was clostrophobic; while it is wrong. (That without speaking to me) wow. Worst service I ever had. Waited 8 hours and the doctor was not even friendly they all treated me like I was a burden to them and like I did not have any problems I just came to lose my time there.

Paid 500$+ for a x-ray a few months ago... never got the x-ray, never talked to a doctor, no contact from hospital afterwards. Money down the drain.
Went there during the night. I found it to be quick considering there are fewer doctors at this hour. You can also go eat at the famous fast food Paulo & Suzanne right in front to pass time. It’s 24 hours and it’s really good . The doctors were caring and compassionate. This an old hospital and I find it really pretty. Depending on the time you go there, you can find parking on the streets.
Very bad experience. Rooms are not good. Asked for private and not available even though I was ready to pay. Supervisor are rude and will not allow to go to hospital canteen to have our taste food and they will not buy and give to us eventhough we pay. By standers food are very worse. Everytime one egg or cheese sandwich. My stomach was upset by eating the food they serve to our room. We were in 2nd floor with our new born baby. Room are not airconditioned and too hot. Providing fan for some rooms and some rooms not and not even asking whether we needed a fan or not. Our baby was crying due to hot. Our 2 days stay was like 2 months. Horrible. We were not having other option, so we selected this hospital as it was near to our house. Most of the staffs are loving, kind and cooperative. Some are rude thinking that they are the director of the hospital. Some staffs attending late when emergency button pressed. Please advising the management team to make hospital admission and stay as homely feeling.
I am so grateful for all care I received. I was always very hesitant with conventional medicine but after my experience at sacre cour after my accident, I am in trust. Thank you for the best surgeons, nurses and staff. The compassion and expertise is wonderful.

If there was a 0 star option, I would choose it. I just had emergency gallbladder surgery, and I was screaming and crying in the ER because of the obvious pain. This is the second time in the last 36 hours that I'm in this hospital, for the same reason being the gallstones that I have are killing me. The first time, I get morphine and no follow up, no referral, no prescription, nothing. They discharged me around three in the morning, with no jacket, no wallet and a near dead phone. I'm intoxicated by the morphine still and I have no ride home. Keep in mind, I am a minor and a girl. They tell me to call a taxi. They let an underaged, clearly intoxicated young girl with no proper clothing, get into a strangers car at three in the morning. The second time, thirteen hours later, I was seen by a nurse, and then told to go to the waiting room. She told me that a room would be available in a few minutes, as they are cleaning it (covid precautions), and my name would be called in less than ten minutes. I understood this and toughened it out for thirty minutes, but still no room. Again, my gallbladder is in rough shape at this point and I'm crying and trying my best not to scream in a waiting room filled with people. Four hours--four agonizing hours--go by, and still nothing. I'm begging my dad to go talk to the receptionist or someone, because at this point, I'm in horrifying amounts of pain. The nurse we'd seen earlier tells us a lie, saying she had told us to go into the room, not wait for it. I was in extreme pain and after getting into a smaller waiting room, I still didn't get any pain meds. Five hours in, no pain meds, haven't been seen, and I'm considered an emergent patient by the nurses by the files they put in, and by this point I'm throwing up from the pain, that's how bad it is. When I'm finally seen, I'm exhausted, still in pain, borderline about to pass out and generally not having a great time. I get my blood work done, and an ultrasound, and I have gallstones. I've known this for months, but there's limited inflammation. They keep me for the night because there's signs of blockage. That's fine, I'm on the meds now and I've calmed down. I need an MRI the next day, which is fine. I haven't eaten for 24 hours, and then the MRI gets pushed back another 24hours, so 48 hours with no food. More blood work, more ultrasounds, more exams with the gastrointestinal guys, all signs point to a blockage. Morning of the MRI, I wake up in a lot of pain. Keep in mind, I've been poked and prodded for the last few days, and hard too, so I'm feeling generally terrible. I don't let the surgeon touch me during the 3rd consultation because of this pain and instead of understanding that I've been through a lot the past few days, and I'm probably in a lot of pain, still they send in a psych evaluation with no need for it. I'm absolutely livid at this point, as I don't feel like talking about whatever anxiety disorder I have. I'm here for my gallbladder, not my anxiety. I wasn't anxious, I was in pain. This concept is a far one for doctors at this hospital, apparently. Even better. I am not told by the doctor that I will be having emergency surgery. I am told by the psychiatrist that I will be having surgery, and he is surprised no one's told me anything either. I get moved to a private room for the surgery, and I'm in pain still. It takes the nurses in between 20 to 45 minutes to reply to a call button and by that point, the pain has been elevated and they blame me for it getting so bad. I'm not allowed to eat for another two days, and when the surgery finally happens, I'm abandoned in the hall beforehand because they can't find someone to transport. The surgery staff was phenomenal. I have no complaints about how the surgery was done or the actual staff of the OR, but I'm disgusted that this happened to me and has probably happened to others. I'm seventeen years old, I shouldn't have gone through this. Just because its a level 1 trauma centre doesn't make it a good hospital. Do not go to this hospital should you have a choice
Longest wait time ever, no joke, came here twice and both times were 9 hours +... finally when i got to see the doctor, i thought it was a joke.. he looked like he came out the looney bin, one eye looking up and the other looking down , i couldn’t tell if i was watching a cartoon or a human being who seemed to find his phd in a cereal box or was it because of the astronomical wait time. He barely spoke a few syllables either but at that point i didnt care i was happy for some human interaction after waitting so long. On top of that the rest of the staff were the rudest ever ! Especially the nurses and at the inscription, there was one black male nurse who was friendly thought. I told him 5 times after the other encounters, ive had better customer service at mcdonalds.
(Translated) It is a good place to undergo day surgery and other treatments. However some specialists would be interested in better communicating with their patients. We have the right to be well served and to have answers to our questions.
Please I repeat please do not bring yourself or your loved ones to this emergency or hospital. The staff here is rude both nurses and doctors & are incompetent. They always give you bad attitude when try to visit your loved ones in the room. No human dignity!!!
(Translated) My opinion only concerns the radiology department I dealt with: A SHAME !!! The lady who answers the radiology phone (# 7 on the phone line) is very rude and that every time I call I can't even quickly express my request because she NEVER has time to listen to me and never let me express myself. Cuts words constantly, is contemptuous and has no compassion or professionalism. She seems exhausted that we ask her a simple question of medical follow-up, it is unacceptable to be treated like this! I don't wish her to have health problems and to be treated like she does to patients. CHANGE JOBS IF IT CONSTANTLY GETS YOU TO DO IT EVERYDAY !!!! Regarding the examination appointment on site, Dr. Chevrier was very professional and pleasant.
(Translated) We are in the midst of a global pandemic, access to drinking troughs, no disinfection of chairs, access to toilets, not all employees have their protective glasses and no temperature measurement at the entrance .... people take their masks themselves- even at the entrance .... super practical for the kind of little man with yellow fingers that even 10L of purel would not disinfect his hands ... it affects a lot of masks at once. The information is not even guiding you properly. You expect cleanliness to be top notch, especially in hospitals. I imagine the lack of staff has no impact on this .... XRay department(door 6) staff rate ZERO!! ???? I came with my mom to have her knee XRay-ed, after waiting awhile on the line up, I present DR’s paper with the medical card, the receptionist without even double checking she says rudely that it’s the wrong dept so she sends us to another one. After waiting in another line up, the receptionist there checks the paper and tells us that we have to go to the XRay dept!!!! So we go back, this time I present the paper to the colleague of the rude XRay receptionist, and they realised that they gave me the wrong information. The worst part is that they start chatting in front of me that it’s Monday and that people tend to not be in the mood!!! Oh really?? Well, first of all...have some respect towards your patients, Second of all, do your jobs correctly and The most important double check before you pass your important information so people won’t waste their time going back and fourth from a dept to another. Oh!! and after she finished her paper work she gave us a label and told us to wait in front of door 5, I realised after waiting, that i should present the paper to the door and not wait like the lady told us earlier, Wow!

I went to the emergency yesterday.. I needed to be seen by a doctor, from my experience,I know the waiting time is too long ..there was some miscommunication too.after doing the echograph on the first floor..they sent me back to the emergency where I had to wait another few hours instead of being seen directly by the doctor.i was frustrated, the nurses apologized for the delay ,admitted their mistake for not sending me directly to the triage.anyway, the staff overall were doing a good job I must say,but what bothered me the most is the gentleman who works at the registration counter beside the triage..he insisted on speaking in French to me even though he spoke to me in English the day before,I found that ridiculous and unacceptable ,he should leave his bad attitude at home and be willing to serve patients in both languages ,if he has a problem with that, then he should leave his job to someone else .in Canada we all have rights and we should all be equal.

You are professional, friendly and very competent people. Thanks for saving my life! Thank you 1000 times to the nurses, the cardiologists and the paramedics who were in connection with my operation. You took very good care of me. You all deserve to be loved and given due praise, it is remarkable what you do. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you ... G. L., engineer. (Original) Bonjour. Despite any short comings of our health system in QC, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Sacré-Coeur Hospital are among the best in the world. We are fortunate to have them.
(Translated) Hospital that is dilapidated as a whole for medium and long stays. For against their trauma center (accident etc.) at the support to the emergency is seamless. Like any hospital in Quebec it has good assets and strong flaws.
(Translated) Friendly and respectful welcome and staff. Waiting time in the emergency very correct in my case.
Some staff either rude or standoffish while others are very helpful. Typical older hospital. Quite large. Very nice, large chapel. Oasis is the cafeteria on the second floor and I went there fairly often since the meals offered in the rooms was typical terrible hospital food-bland, and often over cooked. Does have a small medical library but used more often by nurses and doctors.
(Translated) I sincerely think this is the worst hospital especially the emergency room. I came there at 12:30 p.m. and left at 10:50 p.m. It is a serious shame on their part. Yet the Sacré-Coeur clinic is a thousand times better than the hospital (Original) Je pense sincèrement que c’est la pire hôpital surtout les urgences. experienced doctors who are not afraid to trust!
You don't get immediate attention after you pushed the emergency button, you have to wait until the orderly decide to service you. You feel abandoned
The most worse place you can find. My kid was cut and it was urgent. They only searched for documents and papers without first helping the 3 year old kid. The sum was very high. and they cared only about the pc system not the people.

The worst experience I have ever had, in the emergency, waiting for hours and we were only three patients waiting and very rude nurses.
(Translated) I share with you our experience me and my spouse during her delivery, from our arrival until departure. If you are giving birth soon in this hospital, you are reading the right comment to find out how your stay would be. First you should enter through the official entrance and not the emergency one. There is a bus station just nearby for non-motorized people. If you are motorized, parking is free for 2 hours, after that it's $10 for 24 hours, and you can only pay cash or credit (there is has an ATM to withdraw but it's 4$ fee). As we had arrived for our appointment early in the morning, we were taken care of after 1h30 of waiting, then we were selected a room for some diagnosis and we stayed there for 4h30. Then we were put in the delivery room. During this slow period we met good people, extraordinary nurses, at the height of kindness and very competent. After the birth we were moved to a private room, one bed only (luckily) because generally the rooms are doubles. My spouse was very comfortable and very well treated. She received since our arrival, 3 meals a day, I will put a photo to give you an idea. As for me, I received it only once one morning and that's it. I encourage dads to bring their own food, and take note that there is no hot water or microwave access. I buy snacks and I drink coffee for 3 days. Surely bad staff are everywhere, but the good hearts of many nurses, residents and doctors coated this experience with good memories. Notes: - Try to bring an extension cord to charge your cell phone near you, because sometimes access is far away. - for dad, bring back your throw and pillow. You would have one pillow here anyway, but sometimes having two is more comfortable. -for the dad, the retractable sofa can be entirely horizontal, I will also put photos for that. Finally, good luck and happy birth.

They work so slowly and in purpose, they are rude, long waiting and not caring at all.
If you need medical assistance go somewhere where they will serve you like a human even if you're not a French Canadian
Took my 66 y.o. mother to the ER following a consultation via videoconference. The doctor had said that we needed to have her examined in a physical clinic within 72 hours. The earliest appointment we were able to find was in 6 days so we decided to try the ER. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long before we got to see the doctor. He walked in without her medical file, barely asked any questions (the triage nurse went into more depth than he did), wasn’t even going to examine her until I told him that she felt some discomforts on the left side of her abdomen and he did it looking annoyed. When he took a look at the other doctor’s reference letter to have her examined and I told him of the time urgency, he basically said: “Your mother took 4 months to see a doctor about her condition. Whether she waits another week to get examined won’t make a difference. The doctor that told you this alarmed you for nothing.”?And he chuckled. He didn’t even go into what may be causing my mother’s condition. He basically walked in and told us to go somewhere else.
I am so thankful of dr.Febrer ( Vascular Surgeon) hope to spell the name correctly. I had in pain for many months and no one diagnosed my body issues. He was the only doctor who followed it up and looked after it. After many months with taking some medications I sleep well. Thanks

First time going to this hospital, Good services, friendly staffs, although the wait was pretty long but they warned me beforehand; cons: parking pretty expensive. Overall nice hospital
i bit slow service
(Translated) First and very bad experience in the emergency room. I went there for my 7 month old son, waiting more than 4 hours with my 6 year old daughter under my arms to finally get an appointment in clinic the next day after being insulted by the nursing staff (Accuse me of using my children to receive preferential treatment, they will certainly not open a nursery for my care ...). Aggressive, sly, nothing to do with you. I was outrageously shocked, I would never set foot there again (Original) Premiere et très mauvaise expérience aux urgences.
My wife had an orthopedic surgery on her foot there three years back. The doctors and nurses took care of her very well. Thanks
This is by far the worst hospital I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t even compare to the Jewish hospital. I came with my wife at about 8.50 pm Friday night. They said that she needed to see a doctor urgently. They said code 2, that she would pass before others. By 1am they called us to the room no 6. We are still waiting in that room. It is almost 4 am and no doctor showed up. And when we got tired of waiting we asked the nurse ! Where’s the doctor if there’s one available. Her answer was he was about to come see us in room 6 , but an ambulance showed up. WHAT A JOKE THIS HOSPITAL IS. In the mean time the nurses are in the back yapping away about there personal life. And the worst is they blame the government not enough staff. It’s not staff missing !! It’s mostly the employees that take advantage. Anyways I hate this place. And hope I never need them.
(Translated) Really very well treated, reassured ... What a great team, really great care! We are fortunate to have access to these services.

I had to take a phone call to them cause my doctor sent me to this place for x-rays and the lady who spoke to me was very rude… I don’t know how things works I’m just trying my best… and she was not nice with me on the phone on the point she declined on my face just for a question… very disappointed. My grand parents went there and they were also not treated well…
All I have to say is that the radiology department are all bunch of incompetent, that's all.
I'm in awe with this hopsital. I've had my share of health issues this year and have spent more time that I care to count in six different hopsitals. I am currently undergoing HBOT at sacre-coeur, thus go to the hopsital daily. I keep telling to all that will listen how friendly and helpful the staff is here. They say hi to each other in the hallways, help each other out, hold elevator doors... I was mindlessly going up the stairs while on my phone and kind of blocked a dr from going down... I appologized and he quickly stopped me from doing so.. said, how about I wish you a good day instead and ask how you are doing? This positive attitude is not one that I have witnessed anywhere else, and it is refreshing! The treatment room and unit that I go to is so insightful and foresee my needs before I do. They offered me a monthly parking pass and helped me with the process. Really I only have positive things to say!
Old hospital, the surgery at the 3rd floor is pretty bad. The nurses lack experience with surgery patients and they are lazy.

(Translated) Hello I sincerely want to thank all the staff who received me last Thursday August 14, 2017 around 11:55 am following a heart attack. You served me in an exemplary professional manner and in the operating room right away I felt confident and my fear has faded and I can't believe it yet. that you have half heart to get me back in shape. I saw men and women passionate about their job who put their heart into carrying out their task and this morning I am in great shape and very happy to see the light of day with the only handicap of being forced to take pills but which is probably part of the life I led before with my trucker job which I too have lived with passion. Beautiful hospital with very friendly people!
My moms there for intestinal issues, and the nurses and helpers have been anything but helpful. Telling her she is being dramatic, getting her some water to drink is too much for them, I saw first hand that they yelled at her because she was crying because she was in pain, after telling her that she had to wait an hour for more meds, and then telling her to stop calling for help through the night for water or pain. Poor service, and no patience for their patients. Disgusting.
Very rude service by telephone: I call, Receptionist: "what are you calling for" Me "I have an appointment for my ba-" Her: "But why are you calling" Me:"...I want to confirm my appointment for my ba-" Her: "I'll put you on hold." ...I went through this 3 times with 3 different receptionists who kept putting me on hold with attitude and finally, the last one hung up on me while she was gathering my info... I still couldn't confirm my appointment..so I guess I wont go..
(Translated) Too bad. (Original) C’est dommage.
Worst hospital! I have an emergency ultrasound for my gallbladder, the receptionist refused to schedule me because i cant speak french. It is clearly written on request that is its URGENCE MEDICAL, but she refused to schedule me. How inhumane.
Long waiting is real issue in this hospital.....
(Translated) Wait 12 hours for a doctor in the emergency room to give me a long speech that my problem is not urgent (while the old woman I couldn't breathe well). Plus, all along he tried to make me feel bad for wasting his time. Lack of empathy and no respect for his patients. Also, there was an elderly lady asking for help from an emergency nurse and this is what she said: You can do it on your own.

Over the years i have been here twice and my husband once as well. Great triage système at the emergency. Both nurses and doctors are very thorough and humaine, also really appreciated the follow up call next day. I feel very confident and in good hands when I come here
Emergency centre: very slow service and doctors are not fast. Not clean at night.
(Translated) I just wanted to share my experience, I went to the maternity ward to do some blood tests, it is true that the wait was not very slow, but the girl who took the blood from me was more than unpleasant, not only no smile on her face any more I assure you that for the two blood tests in two different days she took the sample from me and stuck me a kind of paper on the point which was bleeding without anything else, no bandage or nothing and she was gone the paper fell to the floor as soon as I got up and I kept bleeding and my jacket stuck to my arm because of that and I don't even tell you the way to take the sample which was terrible.
Excellent place. Haven't wait that long as i had a lot of test to do. The only thing is that i stayed all night but they didnt plug me on monitors... for someone nervous and all... it was weird. But other then that the staff was nice.

Been to other places this one needs a major upgrade but staff is great and always there
I was extremely pleased with their service. I was worried by some reviews about not welcoming English speakers. But everyone was nice and polite at the E.R. they annouce you in both languages. I went back to the hospital to do more exams next day, everyone was polite and had no problem explaining in English to me.
I wouldn't go here if I was dying. Spent a night in the ER and spent the whole night hearing the staff running around and laughing. Also don't try to speak English.
If I could give 0 stars - believe me I would. For anything less than life or death emergency, expect 8-10 hours+ wait in the ER without a blip about seeing a doctor. Triage nurse staff was very quick at first to identify issues when you walk in, asking questions and very attentive, but when it comes to actually seeing the doctor - nothing. Let alone the fact that after seeing the doctor for the 1st time you need to wait again to get the results of whatever test they order and whatnot so in reality expect 12-14 hours. This is verified when speaking with other patients in the waiting room as well - some hadn't seen any of the doctors for over 16 hours god bless their poor souls. After patiently and frustratingly enduring this treatment for hours and realizing that many patients had waited much longer and also had their triage times played with, (your place on the triage list bounces higher and lower than the stock market) I went to the receptionists to ask how many doctors were present that day: 2 doctors present and a filled room of people waiting abysmal times. When I asked a follow-up question to the reception whether I will actually see a doctor that day; they wouldn't give me a straight answer and instead told me that I'm not seeing what's going on the in back with the ambulances, giving me attitude stating that I don't understand the priority of emergency and that it was a "bad day" to come to the doctors. I decided that I had enough and decided to leave, if people had been waiting 14+ hours with a makeshift cast on their children's arms hearing them wallow in pain I'm sure they'd consider me even lesser. Again, IF YOU COME TO THIS HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM EXPECT TO WAIT AT LEAST 10+ HOURS BEFORE SEEING THE DOCTOR FOR THE 1ST TIME - MAKE SURE TO BRING FOOD AND CHARGER FOR YOUR PHONE. Expect people that came 3 hours after you to walk in 20 min after they take their seat in the waiting room as well; it's all smoke and mirrors. Make sure your health waits for when its convenient for them to come see you as they can have "bad days" to visit the hospital. If you can, please go somewhere else, or make sure to stab yourself somewhere safe in order for them to maybe take you seriously and treat you the same day if you're lucky.

I went to the Emergency Department as I was suffering of back pain. Worst experience with a hospital. Security guys and the nurse at the gate are friendly and nice. The lady in the administration was very tough, unprofessional very slow in doing her work. She made me wait for more than half an hour just to fill forms, and photocopy documents. I had my international insurance document with me, but she informed me that I have to pay1000 $ to see a doctor as I am a tourist! She was upset from the very beginning because I told her that I don't speak French! Never expected such treatment at a hospital, of course I left without seeing a doctor for it is unbelievable To pay 1000$ to see a doctor even while having medical insurance

Very, very disorganised staff with no communications ! Extremely upset. I have never experienced that at any other hospital like the Jewish or the Glen. My father was taken to the closest hospital by ambulance after suffering a serious head injury and was confused. I would now refuse anyone in my family to be brought there. The staff kept on playing games with me in the sense that I was never allowed to see him? I kept trying for 7 hours and staff kept on telling me, "just wait and you will see him soon".... no updates, they did not even take any of his contact information. It's like I was not even there.

So I was on my way to join my sister in the room and she closed my door door to the nose I tried to open and I saw that it was a door with a button so I went from the other side and when I came back into the room she said madam go out, I told her no why she answered me so come out, and persisted with me until this time tell me you do not see quia enough people here. I wanted to see my sister at all costs, she did not let me back despite that we can be 2 person with 1 patient (sign very clear) and a woman had just arrived with 5 people from her family and another person was accompanied by 3 people. then the only veiled woman was pointed out while I was not wrong. (Translated) WORST HOSPITAL, My 24 year old daughter was a baby at this hospital and it was a horror story. She was admitted the same morning with a labor behind her that had started 48 hours ago. They provoked her and at that moment her doctor told her that we would not leave her like that until 5 p.m. At midnight my daughter had still been pushing for 2 hours and was told she would go for a cesarean. She said she was exhausted and didn't feel the baby working. The epidural no longer works either. The operating room was busy and the nurses came back to see her to continue growing her while he waited, even though he knew it wasn't working. Finally, she entered the operating room and they opened her stomach A COLD because the doctor Dre Vachon, did not believe that the epidural was no longer having an effect, it was only when my daughter c he started screaming that we decided to put him to sleep. The next day, my daughter was holding her baby in her arms and the little one started to convulse, the nurses said no. My daughter is herself a nurse so she knew very well what it was. So they took the little one to the nursery to come back a few HOURS later and tell her that the little one must be transferred urgently to the Children's Hospital because she was convulsing non-stop. The little one has finally all the left side of the brain affected and a little on the right side of the inflammation lacks blood to the brain. She had to be intubated to receive stronger Medoc because even the doctors were unable to control her. The worst part of all of this is that my little girl is at risk of having motor problems. My daughter was told that it was due to an infection she got pregnant, but on the other hand, the Children's Hospital had a placenta biopsy done and NOT ANY INFECTION. We are trying to cover up a VERY SERIOUS MEDICAL MISTAKE. We waited far too long to have a cesarean.

Today it was pitiful, it is as if all personnel were just hired with no experience, to keep a patient for six hours and not able to treat him / her, that is unquestionable. It is a pity we live in an environment like this, if we were able to have law suits then the doctors and or nurses would not chance in making the wrong judgments or letting the patient leave untreated.
Worst hospital ever!!! You need to have a cardiac arrest if you want to see an emergency doctor in less than 3 hours !!! With pain level 10/10 nobody cares... You are left to die !!! Very rude people.
This is literally the worst place ever! We came in and waited in the emergency room for almost 7 hours and the place wasnt busy at all. Then they took us to another room and the nurse stopped showing up. We waited there for almost 4 hours. That's ridiculous! The services are really bad here! I seriously dont recommend this hospital to anyone!
Great experience, meet a doctor surprisingly quick and the staff was VERY friendly they listen to you and care. Best hospital in Montreal. Thank you ????????
(Translated) 0 service. As if the hospital is closed or maintained by one or two people. My doctor must have sent a request twice, because the first time they confirmed it was received but simply lost me between faxing and registering in their system. And in 6 weeks, I managed to speak to only one person who couldn't help me. If possible, I don't go. (Original) 0 service.
I've been going on and off in the day clinic for about 6myths the staff are professionals and kind for which I'm greatfull now the blood technicans are inept took everyone three or four times to get blood at one point yesterday I had to show one that the place on my arm that she was trying to get blood that I've never had or seen anyone get blood from that location and I'm a LPN!!, I'm so mad in my mind I think she deliberately hurt me for her kicks. I will not be going back anytime soon staff at Jewish was more proficient!
Very long wait (more than 7 hours). There was no doctor in the hospital.
Stayed for 3 days in Emergency's Corridor as there were no rooms!!!

(Translated) It has been 7 months since I gave birth to my daughter and I am still as frustrated with the treatment as I experienced in the Mother-Child Unit. The noise (day and night), the lack of respect: it arrives in the room without knocking, without announcing itself. No respect for privacy, defective curtain and staff who NEVER close the door behind them. I was refused a second person to help me (although it was registered that I was entitled to it on the site) to leave me alone (fluid and catheter after the cesarean) and a wartime bed which is handled with a crank at the end. Not talking about the attitude I was entitled to when I rang for help. It could take 20 minutes for a glass of ice to arrive when I finally saw that the table with the water pitchers was right next to my room. I think I had 2-3 decent people. I left against medical advice because there was no way I was going to spend an extra night in this henhouse. My baby was not evaluated by a pediatrician until more than 24 hours after birth and when I notified that I was leaving I was threatened to call the DYP. Imagine the cruelty of those rats who dare to do that to a person who has just had a cesarean, who has just given birth. They stole my first moments with my baby. The incompetent and heartless.

On the third day we waited for almost a day for the urologist to finally see him at 4 p.m. But the result is good. He gave us a satisfactory medication. The wait is understandable because there are a lot of people waiting. They had more sick people than doctors. How can a person who suffuring can pass 3 houres on waitting?! This is not normal ....!????
they literally asked us to sleep with our patient in the room for the night because THE NURSE IS ON A VACATION. We definitely wouldn't mind staying the night there but at the same time, it's not acceptable not to have someone to replace her shift (as we can't really do the work she's able to do). Far from that, during our patient's stay, we have had multiple critical situations where the nurses had to be right next to our patient the whole time (this is how it usually have to be in the intensive care), and again, no one was there and we had to shout in the corridor and call the receptionist to have someone to come AFTER 15 MINUTES. We were finally able to take our patient to a better hospital where he can be taken care of. PS: Our case is a matter of life and death and even at this point their service was so bad.
Worst experience ever, the way the treat people in terms of waiting time is very inhumane and unacceptable, it's a shame that a developed province like Quebec has the poorest medical care ever. They make you wait for hours and hours before able to see the doctor in emergency, when they called you in a room for your turn to visit the doctor, you again wait for hours inside the room but doctor still not there, doctor attend you for 10minutes, send you to do blood exams and again waiting for 5 more hours before they give you a result, according to the nurse my blood results was ready but I had to wait for 5 hours for the doctor to explain me the result, so discouraging and bad experience ever. It's a pity to see what sick people need to endure in-order to receive medical service. High rate of diseases and death from sickness will always be ongoing with this rubbish medical system in Quebec who kept discouraging people from coming, makes life difficult. WE NEED A CHANGE IN THIS RUBBISH MEDICAL SYSTEM OF CANADA!!!!

Worst hospital in Montreal. Wait time in ER is about 8-10 hours if you are very lucky.
every experience has been amazing great care and surprisingly quick
This hospital reminds me of concentration camps (especially the upper floors). They would leave a cancer patient in agonizing pain for hours, when all they have to do is to give him/her a pill or an injection. I admit that many nurses there are nice and professional, but it takes just a few bad experiences to make you wish to die. I've been there for many days to take care of a patient who was a close relative of mine, and it's there where I've decided to start looking for an euthanasia medicine to end my life at home in case I get severely ill, because I don't want to be under the mercy of a neglectful heartless nurse.
(Translated) I had hip surgery. I had to wait 5 hours fasting in the recovery room due to lack of bed. Admission placed me in a neuro chamber whose staff had no knowledge of orthopedic protocols. No chair to have the hips at least higher than the knees, no toilet in my room and the corridor was inadequate, too small to enter with my machete and a fight for the same entrance with a solute post. No curtain for privacy to urinate in the container provided for this purpose because my bed was located near the door. My foldable orthopedic bed could not fold up perfectly horizontally so I could not sit on the side. I made a complaint to the complaints commission but according to everything was normal.

(Translated) I call the appointment center for follow-up of my breast surgery, which is starting to get infected. A certain Francesca answers me, no arrangements for July and I do not have the doctor's arrangements for the month of August. I explain calmly, that it gets infected and to wait until August is not logical. She answers me in a provocative tone: Bein go to the emergency room, I can't invent a doctor for you! Is it normal that we answer that at a hospital? Or even to answer a patient with this lack of politeness?
This is by far the best hospital. Yes its old, needs alot of updates (lighting, paint, repairs) but put that aside, this hospital has A1 care for its patients. They do a fantastic job on each floor. A big thank you to sacre ceour for years of support to the community.

I visited the hospital several times before, "BUT" at my last visit on august the 6th. I was impressed from the staff at the emergency room. thank you MR. Youssef, Mr. Mathew and others I cant remember their names. and especially Dr. E. Gravel for taking good care of my daughter Mary Olscamp.
the staff is extremely friendly and helpful - I felt my mother was very well treated - will definitely recommend this place
Orthopedics department is very bad, you are better off going somewhere else.
(Translated) The worst hospital in Montreal. I suggest you go elsewhere if possible. When you get to the ER they greet you quickly and then take you to a messy, poorly maintained floor that they call an emergency overflow. In fact this is done to show that THE EMERGENCY WAITING ROOM is empty. From around 2005 to this day, I don't know what happened at this hospital, but the quality of care given in the emergency room has completely deteriorated. I am originally from Montreal in the Ahuntsic district and I can assure you that emergency management is deficient. Again, I suggest you go elsewhere.
If you want to risk your life or your baby's life, go there. I have been looking into suing this hospital as I almost lost my baby because of the lack of competence and the "no care" attitude of their staff. It's been two years now and I am still traumatized by my delivery experience at that hospital. The worst of the worst in medicine are part of their staff. Do yourself a favor and don't go there.

(Translated) A big ZERO out of 5 for Sacred Heart hospital ..... I arrived last night at 21h and there were 5 people before me ..... I was really happy and I thought for once the wait would not be long but I was wrong .... It is 7:45 in the morning and all they did is pass my card and have me evaluated by nurse TWO times but as according to them my case was not a priority and the policy of the hospital states that it is in order of priority my file did not cease to be put back behind patients priority ... When I am tanned and that I I asked the host girl for the eighth time how many patients arrived after me they were still gone, she replied that it was like that here and that as long as there are more urgent cases I was going to wait .... I got my camp and I'm going to make sure that a complaint will be lodged as early as Monday morning ....... No, but how many people leave without seeing a med ecin you think ??? They certainly will not tear up their claims for the RAMQ so I'll make sure to call the RAMQ to notify them that no doctor has seen me ...... Really they lack judgments to this hospital and I find it sad to have to seek private care in addition to paying the government for the health system; who is the cellar ?? We poor Quebecers !!!! Ahhh yes and I forgot .... the most shocking is the handcuffed inmate arrived 2 hours after me with 2 policemen who came out 1h later with a prescription telling us; it's going faster ben with bracelets eh ??? Awoyyyyyyyyye but we live on what planet when it is made that criminals are better treated than we payers, are we here for real ??? Alles get you treated privately if you do not want to experience the same frustrations as me, it's bad for the health of this hospital and all the others as to me ..... The $ 90 to the private is well invested, believe me!!!!!!!
Staff are very humane, kind and compassionate. The waiting time is well is well respected.

This was just ridiculous ... waiting 11hrs with a torn Achilles in their so called ER ... sent on a goose chase when I asked for an ice-pack ... yelled @ when I asked for my medical file or a receipt indicating my visit arguing that they only have 2 doctors and unless I'm seen by one of them I wouldn't get anything. Really really awful experience. left the hospital around 3 am with my unattended torn Achilles.
This hospital is the worst I’ve been so far. Some nurses are rude and the people at the entrance are not welcoming at all. They’re the ones taking care of the patients so they should be offering help as much as possible. Overheard on the phone that someone is rushing to go home so she wanted my mom to take the pill right away, even though my mom was trying to ask her questions about the new medication she’s about to take. I thought nurses are supposed to care about their patients. Would rate this hospital a negative if it was possible????

Worst hospital experience of my life. The girl,Tamara at the inscription yelled at patients that she doesn't have time to register them. Then when I told her she can't talk to patients that way, she told me to go work there and then I should judge!!!! Walked out after 9 1/2 hours without being seen by a doctor! 2 thumbs up for medical system I in Quebec!

negative stars. Very rude and condescending staff. The audacity to not treat my grandmother who is 90 years old, who presented as a trauma alert, as quickly as others solely because she does not speak french is absurd and mockery of the healthcare system. I have been asked for my father's information, I inform them that he is deceased, she replies with a haughty air: "Death or not it doesn't matter. "I've never seen this in my life. And I was refused a consultation because and I quote "I was not dying". If you want to be a nurse, you choose to help people. If from the first report you disrespect them, change careers. It’s not for you.
Never visit this place, Actually I went there last year. It was an emergency and then I went straight up to reception. There were two nurses who did small check up. Meanwhile, they gave me two Tylenols and after 15 min I started feeling good. I never met doctor and now they are charging me for no reason. Am receiving calls from group solution collect to pay bill of over 700 dollars just for two Tylenol. Such a bad experience.
(Translated) I had to take my mother to the emergency room on June 1st. She was no longer eating and had a very yellow complexion. He was greeted with the greatest security measures regarding COVID and after only 2 hours of investigation, he was discovered 2 large stones in his gallbladder. He was hospitalized just long enough for his extraction and his recovery. I had to go back with her, about 1 month later, for a follow-up scan, and then for the removal of a temporary prosthesis that had been installed temporarily to the gallstone. We kept her overnight as a precaution. It was September 16 and 17. She was treated with the utmost care and I am very impressed with the security measures regarding COVID. Whether in the emergency room during the 1st admission, in the external service for the scan or on the 3rd floor D Wing, all the staff are competent, human and friendly. They were able to transform an agonizing and stressful situation into a positive experience thanks to their efficiency. Congratulations and I hope that we will know how to keep your ways of doing things and take your example.

(Translated) Worst hospital. The nurses were on strike one night in July 2021, I was abandoned in my room, I rang the bell for someone to come, no one came. I made a mess (saddle) I slipped in, I almost hit my head on the sink I had to get up alone because no one came to help me I was soiled for hours in at night until morning. I told the whole thing to a nurse in the morning crying and he told me that he apologized but that they had to go on strike because it no longer made sense their working condition, I understand but I no longer set foot there to be hospitalized. I signed for a voluntary departure in the morning, the cardiologist threatened me, the nurse told me that I was not allowed to leave without the doctor's agreement ... I showed him that I knew my rights . And I left. I am traumatized for life from this hospital. The real gestapo since the covid is worse.
(Translated) One day operation (Tuesday Oct 24th) which was unfortunately canceled but I put 4 * for a very special thank you to Lise (nurse) and Guillaume (nurse) who took great care of me while I was waiting in their room for day surgery, especially since the emergency overflowed in their department which should not be obvious as a climate.

I came in with a dog bite from a small dog on my hand, was worried because I haven't taken a shot for tetanus since I was a child. The male nurse that work there (arms full of tattoos) told me to go back to the waiting room while he finds me another clinic because my priority was low. After 30-40 minutes I ask him about the clinic and he forgot he even talked to me. When I finally saw the doctor, some nurses came in the office laughing and took pictures of my hand that I bandaged, they thought it was funny because it was from a small dog. Very unprofessional.
Excellent Hospital ! caring staff and i got an excellent doctor at the Er (Lepage) who really was attentive and took very good care of me and all her patients . I am very happy there is still doctors like this around . 5 stars Sacre Cœur
(Translated) Very satisfied with the orthopedic clinic, the staff is very pleasant and responds well to our requests, even by phone ... I have always had the right answer and sometimes even the orthopedist speaks to us. By very very disappointed account of the physiotherapy service ... it is poor physiotherapists do not take the time to read the notes of the orthopedist .... while they are in the same hospital!, And it is the patient who gets the pain ... the physiotherapists do not really care about the recommendations of the doctors .... and it is not worth fighting! it is better to go elsewhere .... rehabilitation takes a lot of energy .... we should be treated as it should be. Very good hospital . My wife gave birth to our baby girl 2 days ago by c-section , staff was amazing , doctors were amazing , nurses ext .. everything was perfect . Only thing rooms were old , but you can’t have everything .
Generally very slow

went in for a quick procedure - the floor of the room was littered with blood spots, bloody pads and used feminine hygiene products - absolutely sickening
The reason i give this hospital 2 stars is simply because of the lack of management they have to process patients in the emergency room. They currently have only one doctor working at night and 2 in the day for the last decade(litteraly), i've been sitting here since 2am and it is now 7:30am, and im expected to wait, possibly another 4-6hours before they call my name. If. If you are going to an emergency center i would recommend the jewish general, they always have 2 doctors at night and up to 3-4 doctors in the day.
If you can avoid going to this hospital, please do so. The staff there treats you like a number and does not take your symptoms description seriously. A person I know mentioned to the nurse at the ER how she's been trying to handle her pain for the last two months and got in return ''well if you handled it for two months, you can handle it another two.'' I've had another friend who had abnormal blood discharges and got told by the doctor how she just wasted his time. Don't you guys take an oath to do no harm and protect your patients? I understand these are difficult times, but don't get into the field if you can't live up to your oath at all times.
(Translated) I understand Ms. Pascale Tremblay very well! I had part of my right foot amputated and my experience was very correct as to the attractiveness of my surgery and I had to go through a magnetic raissonence and again everything was ok too. The medical staff and without contradicting very nice also for the dop room and for the magnetic reasoning. After the dop room, they took me down to the third floor where everything is going wrong The problem is that in the evening the employees turn into lougarou. Bad service, laughter disturbs, insults to patients who are not able to answer and they made fun of the patients by speaking Creole ... I ring and they come to turn off the light that serves as an emergency bell and I ring again and it was super important it was about my medication and they were doing the same stratagem to turn off the light outside the room and they left once again. Finally, I slipped into my wheelchair to go to the nurses' station, to be told to return to my room and nothing was moving, no nurses or attendants available !!! I had my slap. During the day, no problem, model employees. So, Ms. Pascale Tremblay experienced things similar to what I experienced myself and I understand her to be angry because I too am. I hope that these comments will ring a bell because we must take our comments seriously, and I have complained myself for bad service. Thank you for reading me !!!

Not to mention the contempt of many, who refuse to explain anything to their unfortunate patients ... Contempt to hide incompetence? The staff was extremely friendly. I was very happy with how I was treated, and how I had various health care professionals take a look at my injuries. They were very open about what was happening, and very clear about what the next steps to my recovery were. Special thanks/shoutout to William who helped bandage me up and reassure me that everything was fine. Merci à toute l'équipe!

(Translated) following a serious accident, I was hospitalized at Sacré-Coeur for a period of 11 days. Not all, but most of the staff there have nothing to do with patients. Following my arrival I was covered with blood, and 3 days later I still had not washed, they were my visitors who had to do .. Moreover, the bell that we give when we have need help is strictly for nothing since they come when they want. I used what they call a "basin" to do my needs. When I was done with it, I rang and I waited for at least 20 minutes in my pee ... not too much for irritation. It does not matter if it is 8:00 AM or 4:00 AM, the staff speak so loud next to the room, as if there is nobody. I had my period there and we agree that in the middle of the night, nobody can bring me to the hospital .. so they gave me a diaper and told me that it would do the trick ..... I was without words! Not to mention the doctor who did my surgery ... I never did it during my stay (11 days), he never came to follow up. Following an "epidemic" on the floor, I was put in the corridor on a stretcher for 6 hours, and I was pee in the basin before everyone in the corridor and they forgot my meal .. .. In short, this hospital really leaves to desired, a chance that there are still some people who take their work to heart and who could understand me through all that. Oh yes and last thing, if you have appointments with your doctor after your stay, plan more time because I had an appointment at 13:45 and I spent at 16:30 .. ..
Some of the stuff are rude and few are good and the rest they really don’t care about you or your situation so if you have another option don’t go there ????????????
where to even start
Very rude nurses. Negligent. Forgot to give full medication for a procedure that required 2 different forms of sedation, so had to suffer through the discomfort. Gives attitude when you ask questions. …

Frequently short staffed, esp. emergency. Inconvenient for staff taking public transit as bus stops are far. At the end of the evening shift, buses are infrequent and you often end up taking the last metro if it hasn't already left. Racist or ignorant comments in break rooms are commonplace.

Worst hospital ever, is it normal that my husband reached at 12:30 am with a heart Attack syndrome and keep him in the waiting room for more than 4 hours!!!! And the waiting room is full and no one is meeting any doctor!! Don’t you feel shame on how your hospital dealing with patients!? However, I believe that the least is to say how grateful I am to Sacred Heart Hospital for saving my father's life by carrying out an operation that was considered difficult and risky. Given the low chances of success of the operation, I was waiting for the end of the operation, thinking of probably having last spoken to my father a few minutes before the operation. The hospital staff was very courteous, humane and kind. The operation took 7 hours longer than expected, and I do not know how I would have done without the sincere help and compassion of your host staff. Worst hospital ever
Just simply avoid!
The worst experience ever, staff lack empathy and care for the sick, I waited dawn till dusk, and still couldn’t see a doctor! They kept on moving my number down the list on the screen, when they eventually called me to see a doctor I went into the examination room, changed to the hospital outfit and waited for almost two hours and nobody came to see me, I went out to ask question as to why I still haven’t seen a doctor, but the lady at the front desk was really rude and mean! She said I should keep on waiting, so I went back to the examination room to wait, but I eventually left after I realized I had bled all over my clothes! They never called back to ask why I left! Avoid this place by all means! If this is the last ER in Montreal, I’d rather die at home.

As if we were not persecuted enough in our own country by war, hunger, poverty, torture and death and now we are trying to start our lives all over again. My wife and I came to this hospital to gare (gyneco-obstetrique) and the Nurse is talking in French to my wife she does not speak French so I tried to translate for her the Nurse says in here we are in Quebec you should learn French or leave Quebec. When I asked her Quebec or Ontario are we still in Canada or not she replied this is Quebec not Canada. I don't know why she is being so racist to us is it because we are immigrants or my wife does not speak French or immigrants needs a special permit to have a child in Quebec. I am very sorry and saddened to see people like her and her mentally still exist in Canada that thinks they are superior to all other nationalities (14-Aug-2018)
All nurses and doctors really human and professional. Excellent. Remember all of them with thankfulness.

Worst hospital experience of my life i entered the hospital through the emergency @20:09 after I saw the nurse as usual I kept waiting till 01:15 after that they called my name I went to the exam room and kept waiting to see the doctor from 01:15 till 03:40 and when I asked the nurse when I will see the doctor she said in a very rude way he is busy I asked her so why you called my name o have been here for 3 hours then she said in the same way and wait for 5 and 6 hours also go inside or wait outside till we call you again . imagine after waiting all this time to be treated this way at the end I asked her to bring me back my hospital card she said ok good and she brought it to me and left it on the doctor's desk . very bad experience very bad way of communication with patients who supposed to come to get a well Treatment from the stuff in order even to forget all the time they spent to see s doctor . very disappointed . if there is someone who is looking on this reviews and do really care about this hospital and patients he should take an action specially during the night shift were anyone can do everything he want to humiliate a patient . I really felt tonight that I have been treated as a slave .

VERY VERY VERY LONG WAITING HOURS We were waiting from 12:15 PM until 10 PM, our waiting number kept going from 9 to 15 and kept moving up and down. At 6PM the number got stuck at 9 and didn’t move, we went to get an appointment for another day the nurse told us she couldn’t do anything for us in a very rudely manner, she didn’t want to help us at all. If i could take this one star away, I would.
