Even in high emergency to save our 3 month baby they didn’t done nothing. After 8 hrs of waiting a general medicine doctor consulted her by the time her bleeding went high and we lost our baby. In my life I never ever step in to the hospital again.

Non responsive and total lack of care. I spent 5 hours waiting with fever and cough. Decided to leave and went to the Jewish Hospital emergency unit where I was immediately diagonsed with pneumonia, hospitalized immediately and within 45 minutes already had blood tests and chest X-Ray. I wonder why their their triage system is so slow.

The working system and staffs quality was not good. I was waiting for 9 hours(7pm-4am) in ER for a serious infection and high fever 38.6. but It was getting worst because I couldn’t sleep at the night for waiting. finally I decided to move to another ER at 4am. I could meet a doctor in 1hour in another hospital ER.

(Translated) Inhuman. The energy in this hospital is really miserable. The experience itself is almost a joke! The security guard on TikTok who totally ignores you (I even thought he fell asleep on his phone so long he ignored me), then no one to guide you or tell you what to do and where to go. The very condescending triage nurse even criticized the work of the nurses at 811 who told me to go to the emergency room when I told her what was happening to me. No empathy, a lot of judgment, and even invalidation of your symptoms ("uh that's totally normal" when several doctors have told me to worry if this symptom appears). I have also seen nurses infantilize and ridicule lonely and vulnerable elderly people in the hallways. IT'S NOT NORMAL !! I left after 2h because I heard people say that it was 4h (4h ?????) that they were waiting. I was taken care of directly from the emergency room at Jean Talon Hospital. Ridiculous... (Original) Inhumain. L'énergie dans cet hôpital est vraiment misérable. L'expérience en elle même est presque une blague ! Le gardien de sécurité sur TikTok qui vous ignore totalement (je croyais même qu'il s'était endormi sur son téléphone tellement il m'a ignoré longtemps), ensuite personne pour vous orienter ou vous dire quoi faire, et où aller. L’infirmière au triage très condescendante, a même critiqué le travail des infirmières du 811 qui m'ont dit d'aller aux urgences quand je lui ai exposé ce qui m'arrivait. Aucune empathie, beaucoup de jugement, et même invalidation de vos symptômes ("euh ça c'est totalement normal" alors que plusieurs médecins m'ont dit de m'inquiéter si ce symptôme apparaissait). J'ai également vu des infirmière infantiliser et ridiculiser des personnes âgées seules et vulnérables dans les couloirs. CE N'EST PAS NORMAL !! Je suis partie après 2h car j'ai entendu des gens dire que ca faisait 16h (16h ?????) qu'ils attendaient. J'ai été prise en charge directement aux urgences de l’hôpital Jean Talon. Ridicule...

If you decide to go for emergency, prepared your self 20 hours to 24 hours non stop waiting. Worst emergency medical care service ever! Unexperienced nurse with careless atitude for your life. DON’T GO THERE!

Worst emergency experience of my life. Waited 15 hours then was told might be another 10 hours, carless staff no hope in here if your in need of real emergency care don’t go here drive to the jewish general.

I have no words to describe this place (Emergency), but I'll try. Lack of care, rude personnel, horrific wait time (more so than other places), etc. I felt degraded and ridiculed. I plan to file a complaint with the Ombudsman.

This is about adult Emergency Department.I am still waiting from past 15 hours and did not see a doctor yet. They are so slow and no body will reply to your questions. Terrible experience waiting in pain and no one cares. Lack of staff

Worst emergency room ever! My 3 yo daughter waited 7 hours in pain, then we left and decided to go somewhere else. No one feels responsible and no one gives answers about how many will be treated before you. If you are in urgent need of medical advice/treatment go somewhere else.
