We have all the reviews of real people like you who purchase the services of Jean Talon Hospital (Hospital) in the territory of Beloeil (Canada).
Now the business receives a rating of 2.5 stars over 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is really weak, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we can think that the evaluation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put reviews when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Hospital is included in the category of General hospital.
Terrible, been to many hospitals and this place is the worst by far
(Translated) Arriving by ambulance at 3am .. The emergencies are empty we are 4 people to wait. 30 min after my arrival I finally meet a person from the hospital ... a nurse who seemed very indifferent to my situation ... In short thereafter no one left ... from 3h to 7h we felt like we were in a ghost hospital ... No one was called to meet a doctor ... No follow-up on the part nurses .. that they weren't even present at their posts and no way to call them we could hear them laughing and singing in a room far away .. blocking by a magnetic door ... a person could have felt unwell and nobody would have noticed very bad service (Original) Arriver en ambulance à 3ham ..Les urgence sont vides nous somme 4 personne à attendre ..30 min après mon arriver j'ai finalement rencontrer une personne de l'hôpital ... une infirmière qui avais l'air très indifférent à ma situation ...
(Translated) My mother was treated very well there. Both in the emergency room initially, then in surgery afterwards. Health professionals work with the means at their disposal and do an excellent job despite some obvious shortages of personnel.
Took my partner here about 10 months ago because his appendix had burst. they saw us quickly because of the urgency, but the real problem is the post op care at this hospital. they are short staffed and no one checks in on the patients, and their handling of a patient post surgery was very rough, to the point that my partner was yelling for them to stop cause it hurt so much when they moved him. we stayed 5 days, and then were sent home with no antibiotics even though his APPENDIX BURST. low and behold, surgical site gets infected with an abscess and we have to go back to have it drained. while we were there a second time, the other gentleman in the room with us told us that it was his 3rd time being back because his surgical site kept getting infected, and also one of the nurses mentioned to us that the doctor we saw has an incredibly high percentage of post op infections. Go to Jewish General instead. They have better staff, resources, and are bilingual.
(Translated) Employees are correct the doctor very well but the time we have to wait makes no sense even with an appointment you must wait at least 4-6 hours .. they told me max 1-1:30 you will have your results then 3 hours later i am still unanswered (Original) Employés sont correct le docteur très bien mais le temps qu'on doit attendre ne fait aucun sens même avec rendez vous tu dois attendre au moins 4-6 heures.. ils m'ont dit max 1-1h30 tu auras tes résultats puis 3 heures plus tard je suis toujours sans réponse
(Translated) Fast and efficient! Thank you ! (Original) Rapides et efficaces! Merci !
Absolutely disgusting staffs. Been to that hospital a couple of times and I’m always discriminated only because I’m a cannabis user. They talk to you sarcastically and they make fun of your conditions. If I could rate a zero star I would. …
(Translated) I felt like a human and not a number. Super nice staff. They took care of everyone in the emergency room, informed us of the wait and reviewed our symptoms.
(Translated) The worst service, I really do not recommend you !!! Very incompetent nurses, doctors almost absent and the worst thing was that I had a very stupid answer especially in an emergency room, when I asked after 25h in the room, and my wife was suffering as not possible, we tells me it's a holiday today (Friday April 14, 2017) !!!!!! It's nonsense, I heard about medicine in Quebec, but this is worse than what I have been told! My wife is taking care of myself and I'm going back to my country! Again don't go there if you want to be treated like a human (Original) Le pire service , je ne vous conseille vraiment pas !!!

It's a hospital. Long waits, sick people, grumpy staff.
(Translated) Very bad experience. Arrived at 5 p.m. in the emergency room with a note from my doctor (for a 2nd diagnosis because he could not know what I have), the triage is done quickly, I am told that with the word I have for 3h max. Registration arrives after an hour of waiting, then nothing. I left at 9 p.m. without knowing what I could possibly have.
Pathetic service, even one star is more. Waited for 6 hours and still couldn’t see the doctor.

(Translated) I have heard a lot of negative things about Jean-Talon Hospital but I have had a good experience each time I have been there. Fast service, competent and kind nurses ... The only problem is rather that the hospital is old and run down.
(Translated) Endless wait! The doctor consults you 10 mins and loses 50 mins of the hour chatting and of course not for medical reasons. So basically he is paid by the hour but for only 1/6 of that hour. Absurd (Original) Attente interminable ! Absurde

(Translated) Only the nurses do their job well. The night doctor only examined me for one minute, gave me a cocktail of medicine, had to come back to assess me two hours later, but never returned. The nurse came the next morning to tell me that the morning doctor was giving me time off without seeing me. I finally learned the diagnosis from the first doctor, because the nurse told me that what I had was going to heal over time! What did I ask? This is how I learned about his diagnosis! Hospital to avoid !!!
(Translated) Of course the waiting time can be long, we are in Quebec. On the other hand, I met several competent, welcoming and attentive professionals. To respond to comments that complain about workers chatting on the floor, I would say that I prefer that these take care of their mental health in their workplace, especially that they work in unenviable conditions! Finally, I would add that my meeting with the general practitioner and the psychiatrist was complete, I felt taken care of and heard. Thank you for your great work.
Honestly one of the worst services ever.

At the emergency when you arrived by ambulance its fast service. I went thursday night around 20:30 its was empty in the waiting room but inside full.... I pass a scan for my head it was fine good staff. After that I back again but for my mom, they was fast again at the emergency but once they transfer her up, it something else... at night the staffs are not that happy to work, in the day better but still, during the week end dead service.... when Monday arrived more staffs and helpfull. Be careful be sur that if you go there you must be with some one can help.you.because its can take time before some.one help you.... Other wise the place is clean and big.
If you are an English speaker only , DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL. The doctor straight out told me she doesn't speak english ( wasn't even going to try) said all of this in french then proceed to tell me that she'll get someone who does . She never did. Had to ring by bell an hour late for help.None of the staff speak english , the ones that do barely understand/speak it. I'm the one in the hospital in severe pain and i still try to understand what they say in french. First and last time in this hospital.
(Translated) I would have liked Google to give us the means to give no stars. Or even just for this place. 1 star is too much. I waited 10 hours without any feedback, the nurses are totally abandoned. There were 5 of us in the waiting room for just 1 doctor. A lady had been waiting since 3pm for a sprain when I left at 7am. No one apart from the Dalai Lama could stand such an aberration.
(Translated) Very long (Original) Tres long
Horrible wait times and unfriendly service. Some of the staff aren't bilingual so communication is very limited, as well. Outlasting your injury would be less painful than coming here to wait hours on end for a quick appointment. For your health and your safety, choose another hospital.
(Translated) From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. waiting to see a doctor. Then he comes up saying "your situation is not an emergency." My brother came her with a work injury. Bleeding from the leg and the hand. Part of his thumb is cutoff. It took 2 hours to see a nurse. I actually had to go to the pharmacy to buy badagesb to patch up my brother. After seeing the nurse we discovered that there's only one doctor for the whole hospital. Some patients got fed up and left. 3 hours after seeing the nurse only one patient got to see a doctor. This hospital is understaffed. Instead of increasing the salary of doctors with their new budget. Why not work on getting more doctors?
I went here on a Monday morning at 10am and I didn't have to wait at all. I immediately met a doctor and all the staff and nurses were lovely and caring. Everybody I talked to was fluent in French and English. There was a slight miscommunication with the radiologist in that she thought I injured my right foot instead of my left but we quickly cleared that up.

Avoid this hospital like the plague. The staff treat their patients like they're not human, and the wait times are absurd. There is nowhere to park and nobody is willing to answer any questions. I've had the worst experience in all my life at this hospital, waited 8 hours and still never got to see the doctor. The staff seem to be more interested in joking with each other and having fun at work than taking care of people like they're supposed to.
we had an appointment for a scan at 1:40, now’s 3 still waiting, everybody is like in a hurry had no time to answer any questions, but im the only patient still waiting, I’m cold I’m frustrated, I don’t even know if I’m actually on the list, and nobody cares, Worst experience ever

Not only you're being treated like a worthless animal with no rights, you will wait more than 12 hours at the emergency room just to see a doctor, and then they will make you make you wait a few more hours alone in the doctor's room. I have overheard that they had litteraly no doctors at some point for a few hours, and they have been forgetting about patients. When they got called out for it, they said that it is what it is and deal with it... disgusting...
Last night I was sick and went to the hospital Nurse in triage I dnt know her name but her iq was very good Thanks to her Then I was feeling sick like close to death But Dr.Anthony Rizzotu and Male Nurse Sylvia Was amazing they save my life For the care diagnose and treatment what I got next day I was at home with my kids God bless you Dr Anthony and nurse Sylvia And thanks to management of hospital for good services
This place is Hell! They pass one patient every hour! I've never seen anything like it before. Horrible, even by Quebec's low low low low standards! Do yourself a favor and stay away.
(Translated) I know that criticizing the public service is of little use. But there anyway, my girlfriend arrived at 3:40 p.m., she has difficulty breathing and coughs a lot, After 7 hours of waiting and seeing people arriving after we walk past without a serious condition. We decide to explain our situation and that his case worsens. They decide to give him an evaluation again after 7 hours of waiting, only to realize that they still have to activate a little. Result, taken care of after 7:30 and the doctor as nice as he is, discovers fluid in his lungs and says to him, it is you that we have been waiting for hours to cough in the room. waiting... Thanks no one for worried. Left after 8 hours including exams. In short, an experience that I do not wish you.
(Translated) I went for the blood tests. It was so uncomfortable, I felt like a laboratory rat doing the musical chair with the other patients, while we saw too close the previous patient being bitten !! They did not have any more garreau and searched everywhere. The only 2 nurses were to supervise students. It was very chaotic, poorly organized and lacking in professionalism, IMHO. There were promotional posters and paperwork to file complaints everywhere. It says a lot about the reputation of the establishment.

Dr. Dejoie is one of the worst doctor in this hospital
One of the worst experience of my life. Entered at 4 pm and came out at 8.30 am next morning. It took around 16.30 hours to get the treatment.
Went with my 12 year old son, very respectful people, didn't need to speak French, triage called us in after 3 hours to see how he feels, waiting room wasn't crowded, was out after 5 hours, yes it's a long wait but not more then any other hospital. Would give it another try if needed.

In addition, the staff have both arms folded while the patients need them. A big cleaning is required fans this establishment. Unbelievable . Avoid at all costs! Incroyable . À éviter à tout prix !
I would give this hospital a zero, not even a star. I've been waiting for over 12 hrs. Crappy services. Nurses are mean and dismissive. They laugh at your face when you're asking for the patient per hour ratio or when asking for medicine to at least reduce the pain. Very incompetent doctors. From 7pm to 7am in emergency, there was only one doctor. We were 45 patients waiting for over 12 hours. Not professional at all.
Good experience in the Emergency, staff was really professional and caring. Wait time was quite long, like you would expect in Quebec (~5 hours) but not much when you have a good tv show to watch. Doctor was quit to help and make appointment with a specialist. Thanks :)
(Translated) Me it was the first time that I went there accompanied my sister ... the care ... the speed ... the professional conscience ... the kindness as much to the patients as to the attendants easily deserves this 5 stars. It was a long time since I saw this in a hospital .... thank you thank you !!!!
was pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficient the staff were, they saved my life! doctors and nurses were amazing and made me comfortable
Had 9:30am appointment for a hand surgery to fix 2 fractured metacarpals and place back a bone that was 4mm off. They told me to stop eating at midnight the night before so that id be ready to operate at 9:30. Waited 9 hours until i was brought downstairs. Phone was ringing in background all day no one ever answered. The floor i was on was near-empty. They gave me a hard time wanting to be put to sleep as opposed to them freezing my hand. I did NOT want to be awake during the operation. I told the plastic surgeon the day before “ill do the surgery IF i can be put to sleep” she said no problem. I also told all staff i talked to on the day of the surgery that i needed to be put to sleep and it was all fine. After a 9 hour wait, 10min before my surgery, the man who transported my bed told me i could not be put to sleep, and that they will freeze me instead. That was a NIGHTMARE. My stress and anxiety spiked through the roof. I told him if im not being put to sleep that im going home. He said that there was no more gas to put me to sleep (no more sleeping gas at the hospital??). When i was brought downstairs i explained to a nurse what just happened, she said to never-mind that guy because he’s just the bed-transportation guy; he’s not a doctor or nurse or anyone to do with the surgery. The anesthesiologist arrives. She also gives me a hard time. HIGHLY insistent on freezing me as opposed to putting me to sleep and expressively getting upset with me. When i asked why, she said my hand will hurt when i wake up if she puts me to sleep. I asked why she cant freeze my hand after im asleep, she said she’d need to know if i felt a nerve shock. She kept dropping her shoulders and lowering her head during conversation as if she was losing patience with me when I should be the one losing patience. She said my options were to do the surgery frozen, or to be asleep but wake up with pain. After 4min of arguing she brings up a 3rd option; to put me asleep and THEN freeze my hand. I ASKED FOR THAT SINCE THE BEGINNING!!! Ridiculous. Dr. Matei did a great job. I did not wake up with pain in my hand. Nurse tried to rush us out of the hospital but i took my time since i wasnt ready to get up (anesthesia makes you feel fuzzy-minded when you wake up) Great surgeon, everyone else was terrible.
About as positive an experience you could ever ask for from an ER. Every nurse and doctor we encountered were extremely compassionate and patient, and we were seen within a very reasonable timeframe.

(Translated) We are in full COVID, and my boyfriend broke his wrist, we arrived at 11 pm and came out in the early morning, yes it was long but all the staff were really great, they did not kick the job , I'm really happy with our experience there, they did well. Anyone who says it's the worst hospital, I've really seen worse elsewhere (example: a member of my family who injures his back and we send him home and we call him back the next day because ... "Ha well we didn't look well we think you have a fracture after all" and it was.) So yes I recommend. It's long everywhere and there are exceptional cases everywhere, they do their best and are kind and attentive.
Worst hospital ever been. I broke my collarbone and they made me wait for 2 hours without giving me a mask and anesthesia (only tylenol could've been good). They gave me a appointment but no one told I had to register even though I talked to someone who work there when I got in, he just told me to wait at the door #8. Worst hospital, worst staff.

Please don't bring your loved ones to this place. I wish the last voices my father heard before he dies were not the paramedics who yelled at him because he was not able to follow their guidelines.

If you are in pain and need to help I beg you Pliz don’t go to this hospital...rudest staffs I have Eva met...and they are professional in making you wait for hours and hours while the nurses are chit chatting and laughing in emergency.
(Translated) Quick emergency care (20 waiting times with triage), the gentleman was very patient and understanding and then I had to wait 1h15 to see the doctor who was very understanding, patient, attentive and helpful to me. explained all the medical procedures well before doing them, as did the nurse who took the blood test. Really top-notch service and calm that night. Me who was stressed to come and well that was very reassuring. Thank you to everyone for your help and good luck for the future ????????
Long wait time. A developing country has better treatments and less delays. Don't go here. Go to other hospitals than this crappy place. Even if I was to visit Mexico get treatment and return would have been faster than waiting here. Let's drive them out of business.
(Translated) Despite the reputation of this Hospital, the staff are impeccable, human, with great empathy for the patients and their families. My father was hospitalized at this Hospital. Thanks to the staff on the 5th floor for palliative care, you are peerless beings (with the exception of one or two). The nurses, the auxiliaries, the attendants, you deserve more salary and more recognition because without you this "sick" health system would be even more a disaster. The social worker is always on hand to help find solutions for the patients' families. Thank you from the botton of my heart. Thank-you from the botton of my heart.
(Translated) I went for the first time to this hospital with the positive Covid for a prevention appointment because I really did not feel. Great service, fast, professional. In 3 hours I was in and out. An X-ray, a cardio-electrogram, blood tests and results. Wow, thank you that reassured me greatly. Super service, rapide, professionnel. En 3h j'étais in and out. I walked into that hospital dying, an infection spreading through me as wildfire. The personnel took care of me like champs, within an hour I was upstairs in a room receiving a massive amount of antibiotics. They saved my life. Following that I had appointments with five specialists and let me tell you, when it's a rush, appointments became available like magic and I got all the services that I needed. I can't thank them enough and I raise my hat to the nurses, the doctors and as well to all the support staff. Lotsa people know me (NOT WITH THIS PICTURE) in the hospital and they all know that I try to make my visits as fun as circumstances allow. GREAT JOB JEAN-TALON.
(Translated) Thank you ???? (Original) Merci ????
I was in the hospital for the first time for surgery on March 8th. The nurse came to see me on the 5th floor and because I don't speak French, she had the nerve to ask me why didn't I speak French and how long I had been in this country. Her name is Doris Renaud and she was ignorant, she should not be allowed to speak to people like that and it is not her business why. There was another lady waiting for surgery and she told her ,it was not the time for things like that.As for the nurses on the 6th floor, they were very nice, some of them didn't speak English very well, but at least they were nice. Like I said it was my first time in the ospital and I hope to God I never have to go again. Its true what they say about this hospital ,that it is one of the worst.
Horrendous hospital. Believe all the reviews here, and go somewhere else very quickly. The only reason for the star is that one in 10 staff members are decent.
(Translated) Arrival around 10 am and exit around noon, how fast! All of the employees that I have met have been very friendly and efficient. A feat considering their hard work in recent months. I went there for an eye infection and was given a follow-up appointment as well. I am very grateful for the attention I was given and for being in the ER for only two hours.
My boyfriend was involved in a car accident and he is still waiting in the emergency room as of 3am on June 5, 2021. I’m his emergency contact, so when presented myself at the emergency, they wouldn’t let me in. The nurse or PAB told me that the waiting room was crowded, which it wasn’t, and I was not allowed to stay with him. Priority is nowhere to be found at this place. He has currently been waiting for 7 hours to see a doctor and run tests. Absolutely disgusting service for a hospital.
If I can give 0/5; I will do it. If you speak other languages than French. Pls avoid this hospial.

Worst place honestly if your in a pickle go anywhere else the nurses are not understanding of autistic people only talk french also there this doctor that does ultrasounds and just leaves you cover in goop all over your clothes you better be be prepared for pain there no delicate there

I would give this hospital a zero if I could. Not only are the emergency room staff so dismissive that you might die before they pay you the slightest mind but most of the staff actively scowl at patients and generally act unfriendly. And if you have an appointment with their doctors bear in mind that they double triple and quadruple book individual doctors so that you are guaranteed a 2-3+ hour wait simply for a 10 min. meeting. Avoid this place at all costs.

Horrible
This is a hospital. I had an emergency, an injury. I recieved professional medical help in a timely manner. That's all. Simple. Professional. Everything that a hospital should be.
(Translated) I had to wait from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm to be treated. Normally when we talk about emergencies it's really an emergency, if not I would have made an appointment with a doctor. I was in unbearable pain, the painkillers stopped working, the infection got worse while I waited. But I find it serious for emergencies. For a consultation that lasted 15 minutes. The doctor was nice but the time to get to this doctor is hellish.
Can't be all that bad... I was born there... 56 years ago. :)
They gave me the wrong medicine and I fell into a coma for 3 days and they cleaned the body, stomach, etc. through two tubes through my mouth after this medicine. When I woke up, the tubes were very painful because they gave me medicine for epilepsy and I don't have epilepsy or something. Is this a hospital or a field of experiments?
The doctor I saw was very nice but the admin staff leave a great deal to be desired! Abrupt to the point of rudeness and I'm sure that if I was French this would have been less the case. I've been doing my best to meet them halfway but they really don't seem to give much of a damn. Pretty shoddy for people in the healthcare profession.

(Translated) I arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon with a big chest pain making it difficult to breathe. The triage was done quickly and the very nice nurse told me it was probably a muscle tear (which made sense). It is now 9am and I still have not been able to meet a doctor !!! Pretty regular hospital. Service at the emergency was pretty quick in my case and the nurses are very nice. As soon as you are admitted in a room though, service considerably goes down slow and you are left in the dark not knowing anything... As I said, pretty regular hospital; nothing out of ordinary...
The lousiest hospital that ever existed on the island of Montreal if not the world .The patients are neglected , medical papers and prescriptions for Xrays and other tests are lost , medical staff and nurses are ignorant , they take patient's status , complaints and conditions lightly , they almost called my death by neglecting symptoms that were shown to them , I was carried back to this lousy hospital again by ambulance with a blood pressure of 80/50 and a hemoglobele count of 60 all caused by serious internal hemoragy generated by contradicting prescriptions . I would advise everybody to stay away from this hospital .
(Translated) Second experience in the emergency department. An interminable wait, catastrophic night service, not to say incompetent. Arrival at 10 p.m. in the emergency room for chest pain. 1 hour later still no nurse at triage. I decide to go home but the pain does not go away. So I come back the next day at 9 am and I decide to stay there. I end up seeing the doctor at 11 p.m. More than 12 hours of waiting. Advice in an emergency go elsewhere.

I was given a phone number to call to make an appointment for my mother. The hours to call are between 8:30-3:30. I literally tried calling at least 20 times in one day, AND NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. When I called the general number and pressed '0', the person I spoke to transferred my call to the same phone line where I had tried calling all day. I had to call back and ask her NOT to transfer me as no one was answering that line. Her only advise was to keep calling the number until someone answered, or I could call another number to make a complaint. She was no only RUDE, but pretty nonchalant about me making a complaint, as if it was a daily thing and not a big deal! She was so rude and not helpful AT ALL, and still, I haven't been able to make an appointment! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY UNFRIENDLY STAFF!
(Translated) I would like to say a thank you to Dr. Geneviève Leduc and her evening team in the emergency department on Friday February 26 who took very good care of my 80-year-old mother, Ms. Gagnon, with a broken wrist and in great pain. 15 hrs waiting at the ER, if you have to go at night don’t even consider this place as they have 1 doctor and 1 nurse, not that having more during day time did any difference. They are loud and unprofessional, they play favourites “urgencies” we passed so long people with mental conditions were off meds and acting up. Really just go to a better place. This one is dirty, unprofessional and understaffed or uncapable.

The worst hospital ever..like the other hospitals in Quebec the doctors don't care about the patients they work to earn money. but this hospital still the worse..you can spend easily 10 hours to see a stupid doctor who doesn't care about you. This review will change nothing; all the health system need review by the government.it is wasting time for people and many time useless..government should do something people are suffering.
staff are rude, no empathy for patients who are hurting. obviously there is a wait but there is a better way to respond to patients with a calm demeanor. Happened twice now. Some doctors rush and give wrong information & are very rude unless they are specialists.

My Grand mother who is independent and young went thete to have a tumor removed in her intestine. The first day she aasked for help to get off the bed. Not to be lifted but help because she was in excruciating pain and the staff refuses to help her under the excuse that their back hurt. I know for a fact these guys went to school and learned methods and techniques to help patient out their bed without forcing. I've had bad experiences at this hospital over and over. They need new management because they are the worse hospital in Montreal. Please i beg you not to bring your loved ones here. They make many mistakes and don't care about patients.

(Translated) I am followed by a specialist in this hospital. The doctor is quite cold. I had an operation not only did the surgeon more or less do his job well, but most of the employees were disinterested and incompetent. Please if you want to work with people, in the health field with sick and vulnerable people; have a little empathy!
Although the nurses are fine, most of the doctors and specialists are really bad. Waiting 8 hours just to see the doctor and then he/she tells you that you're fine without making a proper examination of the problem is just insulting. This hospital has a long way to go in terms of improvments.
(Translated) THE BEST (Original) LA MEILLEURE
Horrible mismanaged hospital. 1 doctor and 1 nurse for a room full of 15-20 patients in emergency overnight. Have heard horror stories about patients being mistreated or having botched surgeries. Stay away!
Very bad service. I have been calling for 4 hours, and keep trying to explain that one of their very important lines are down, and to NOT transfer me to it. What do they keep doing ? You guessed it, transferring me to a bad line. Eventually weeks later, the line seems to work once again (been trying for weeks, since I need surgery). Now, they keep throwing me around, and no one is helping. VERY BAD HOSPITAL.
Tonight I am on the 7th floor in the rehab center for my five heart bypass surgery I had at the Jewish General hospital about a week ago. I will be writing to the Jewish as soon as I can but I REALLY want to write about the treatment I will be receiving here. You are giving me back my health and my life. You are giving me an EXCELLENT life expectancy. You are helping my French. You are drawing me closer to my son. You are giving me back my wife. I can't possibly say enough good things about you. From the bottom of my heart (literally) thank you!

(Translated) I had to go to the emergency room for a dislocation of the knee. I was taken care of very quickly and had excellent service. Despite my extreme pain condition, the staff was super courteous, kind and attentive to me. Yes, I stayed for several hours but they acted very quickly to relieve me of my acute pain, ensure my comfort and replace my joint amoeic. Thanks to all the team for your good care, you made all the difference. A patient in recovery VERY satisfied :) PS: Advice to emergency patients; if you are respectful with the staff and show them that despite your discomfort, you appreciate what they do for you, they will give you back to the cent, believe me! Be kind to those people who work in conditions that are not always easy. ;)
When to the emergency twice. Both times the wrong diagnosis by 3 different doctors. Its a real cold environment. Theyve gotten use to the cries of patients. Some good nurses and some bad. They just want you out asap.
(Translated) Bad service, I arrived at 10:15 and it is 13:30 and I have not even gone to registration, they put so much money to renovate it but the service remains as null as before. (Translated) Waste of time ! Incompetent doctors. If it's like that, anyone can be a doctor! You can WAIT FOR DAYS, in a gown, in the hallway, without knowing whether the doctor (who actually gave you an appointment time) is EVEN IN THE BUILDING or will see you at all that day. The nurses don't have the schedules of the doctors. Come back tomorrow and wait some more, maybe you will get get better on your own in the mean time... Waiting endlessly in a hospital is not good for the health of the patient and really takes its toll on their support network too. You might be better off staying at home. Unfortunately in Quebec this is often the only way to see a specialist such as a psychiatrist, because they are buried in the emergency section of the hospital. This is a really a poor use of tax dollars and precious space, when scheduling could be managed so much better.
(Translated) Worst hospital I have ever seen, we arrived at 10pm and are still waiting our tour at 10am that is unacceptable. The nurses informed us this morning that there was no doctor for 3 hours that night without anyone notifying us. Animals might have been better treated. The wait is normal, but to be ignored no. Horrible. Horrible.
The worst hospital ever. Waiting for hours, the place is understaffed and apparently no one cares. Is ridiculous how they leave you alone for hours waiting for a doctor. Avoid this place, is a complete joke.
(Translated) The radiology department is poor! I left the x-ray request in the box in the evening. After a week they called to give me an appointment.

(Translated) I went to the emergency room for abdominal pain. Sorting is very fast (10min). I was given a blood test and urine test within 30min. Small hospital and few people in the waiting room. The nurses are very nice. On the other hand very long wait to see the doctor (8h !!!). Who finally just saw if there was a medical emergency. I had to come back the next morning to do a full ultrasound and see the doctor. Quick treatment in radiology, then return to the emergency room. I saw the doctor on duty quickly, who was very attentive and then the very long wait to get my documents and be able to leave. Frankly all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I put 3 * for the endless waiting time.

(Translated) Worst hospital ever! I strongly advise against it! Doctors are incompetent and give wrong diagnosis. I was told by a Dr.Amar that I had to live and endure my pain. He practically did not examine me, he just took a blood test and the results were his diagnosis for swelling and foot pain. I left the hospital offended. He does not listen to the patients and he is always in a hurry. In short, Jean-Talon find you good doctors. It's discouraging (Original) Pire hôpital Ever! Je le deconseille fortement! Possibly the very worst hospital in Montreal!!! My mother spent 5 days there to apparently receive physiotherapy treatment after a 2 week stay at Sacré-Coeur hospital. Well... the physiotherapy was not happening... they just let her stay there in her bed with minimum care. I had to bring her a warm meal daily because what they served was beyond unacceptable. The staff was not professional, even rude at times, and the place was definitely not clean. I often had to run down the hall to find someone from maintenance and remind them to come clean up her room. Night and day compared to Sacré-Coeur. That stay at Jean-Talon hospital was like a bad dream. Those 5 days felt like 5 long months for me. This all happened just before the Covid-19 outbreak. Thank god we got her out of there on time!!! A place to avoid at all cost if you want to get well. I would give it a zero star rating if I could!
Worst experience ever. Currently at the Jean Talon hospital with my 14 month old with a massive open wound on the forehead. Waiting for 7 hours now since 5pm. We have been told at least 2 more hours to wait. Only one doctor In this entire service. How can we make a poor 14 months old baby waiting for so long? It’s crual.
(Translated) Horrible hospital, my epileptic seizures were worse after I left Jean-Talon Hospital after a 3-day hospitalization. The resident doctor told me that I had something abnormal in my blood but that he would give me leave if I met my neurologist and my nephrologist. It was wrong that I had something abnormal in the blood since 2 days later I returned by ambulance to Sacred Heart Hospital which incidentally offers an outstanding service to patients especially in neurology where my neurologist My staff even took care of my case in the emergency department and he is really an excellent neurologist specializing in Epilepsy. Back to Jean-Talon Hospital, the worst was to be sent to a room in the 6th without air conditioning or even fan while it was 35 degrees Celsius outside, I shared the room with an elderly lady. But let's face it, having elderly people sleep in a room during a heat wave without air conditioning or even a fan is dangerous or even negligent. It has no blood, it was almost a sauna, it can cause death!

(Translated) I spent last night at Jean-Talon Hospital. Finally, thanks to a CT scan, they found the sore (kidney stone). I found the ENTIRE staff to be kind, courteous, attentive and professional. I absolutely did not want to end up in the emergency room at midnight on a weekday, they still managed to make my night more comfortable (intravenous pain reliever contributed to the effort). Bonus point, passed and negative Covid-19 test ... which adds to the positive;). Thank you to everyone (security, reception, nurses, doctors, CT scan technician, nurse on the phone for the follow-up this afternoon, etc.), you have been wonderful.
(Translated) More interested in money than in the patient's health. Following a heart problem my spouse was taken quite quickly. Subsequently we had to do an ultrasound he had to stay 20 min with gel on the torax, before someone brings him a wipe. While nurses walk in front of us without doing anything. After a radio and back and forth between the waiting room and the consultation room we have to consult a cardialogue. The first question asked was how are you going to pay me? Several times during the consultation she told us again about her payment without giving us any diagnosis. We left with no ordonances and my boyfriend in the same state as his arrival. Incompetent, absolutely avoid this hospital!

I went to the hospital for whiplash from a car accident. After 5 hours of waiting I went to reception to get an idea for wait times. They apparently called my name 3 1/2 hours earlier and insisted I left or had headphones on, which I didn't. No one came on my side to call me. There was a woman yelling and security got involved and I was probably called during that time and I didn't hear. They never tried to call my name again. I had someone with me who was listening for my name when I went to the bathroom, so we wouldn't miss it. When I explained the situation with proof of my first triage and they did not want to help me. They wanted me to go through triage and restart the line even though I had been waiting for 5 hours.i left because I had to work the next morning. I went back the next day to see a doctor and the nurse was extremely helpful. Scheduled a tele-interview with a clinic. Later that afternoon when I didn't hear from the clinic I reached out. The clinic never received a fax from the hospital. I went back to the hospital a third time and luckily the triage nurse was the one who saw my partner and remembered us and the woman who was screaming the night before. She was able to have me seen by a doctor in about an hour and I received a physio prescription. Only putting 2 stars because I saw a doctor and got what I needed, but it was a terrible experience.
Terrible hospital. No parking, have to go around neighbouring streets to look for street parking. The hospital is very filthy.

No bedside manner. Poor organization
Wow, Incredible peoples work there! Thank you.
(Translated) My name is Roger Landry, I recommend hospital Jean Talon for emergency, for the department 5c, for the kindness of the proposed, nurse, nurse, doctors. I was treated at this hospital everything is perfect except the panic that has destabilized the doctors that my sun card is invalid. A doctor and accountant are transformed into robocop of the collection and worry about not being paid. What does not change is that all of them are good people, people with humanity, all these people are from Jean-Baptiste Hospital. Only 2 people to do blood test, signage unclear as the clinic and blood work area are the same. Staff very unkind, I asked for information and the person was trying to shut the door on me.

Avoid bringing your family here.
If there was a way to give this hospital 0 stars I would. Avoid this hospital at any costs.
(Translated) I had the operation on September 30, 2021 ... Thank you to all the medical staff and mainly to the nurses for the follow-up after the operation; there was a slight complication due to my physical condition and i went out 3 hours later than expected ... the staff were very nice, attentive to my needs and very patient. thank you for everything Mr. Desmarais (Original) J'ai été opéré le 30 septembre 2021...Merci à tout le personnel médical et principalement aux infirmières pour le suivi après l’opération; il y a eu une légère complication dû à ma condition physique et je suis sorti 3 heures plus tard que prévu...Le personnel a été très gentil, à l’écoute de mes besoins et d'une très grande patience. (Translated) Disgusting schedule at the cafeteria. (Original) Horaire dégueuelasse à la cafétéria.
It is presently 4:45am as I write this review. I came in at 7:30 pm the previous evening. I was told are 5 hours wait time which even in my condition(fever for 5 days, and wondering if I might have meningitis). I have seen patients that came in AFTER me, and have already left! I feel like I my head wants to explode along with my back and neck, but the only time I have seen a nurse other than triage, was to ask me on three separate occasions if I felt better since my triage. Really?!? 1st off if I felt better do you rhink I would still be here??? 2nd, this place has made me feel more sick than when I came in(and I already felt like I could put my head through a window to releave the pain). So now, I wonder if I should go die comfortably at home instead of in this waiting room, 8n this deserted hospital. If you plan on coming to this hospital, fight the urge like you have never fought in your life, cause chances are, you might not make it out alive!
Horrible treatment , horrible waiting , the staff AND the doctor treated me worse than a criminal , they had inmates from jail with chackles and their guards wainting in the main lobby with everybody else , i do not recommend this place to my worst ennemi , boycott this hospital !!!!
(Translated) I had to be operated on urgently and I must say that all the employees treated the situation with professionalism and speed. The nurse in the recovery room (Victoria) was extremely kind and was a real comfort buoy. Both the doctors and the nurses were all kind and supportive from start to finish despite the urgency of the situation. I recommend this hospital for the quality of their front line employees, they all comforted me and this is the thing that I appreciated the most, there was a desire to help.
(Translated) I have been waiting for 50 minutes on the phone to make an appointment at the outpatient clinic. I hung up to try another number with the reception: I am told that it is a normal waiting time (!?!) As the RV pickup hours are at the same time as the normal business hours work, good luck to match work and RV taking with this hospital, I should have taken leave to call I think well.
We've gone to put tubes in both of my 3 year old's ears today. We came in and the nurses in the day surgeries floor were great. Then when we went to the OR floor the anesthesiologist and the nurses were great, then nurses in the 'recuperating room' were also awesome. All the staff took special care and really catered to his age. (entertaining him, making sure HE was ok, etc) He like the anesthesiologist so much he just left with him to go the OR. No tears, no fuss. I saw the rating of this hospital and was worried a bit, but honestly, I was incredibly impressed! (minus the parking situation, but what can you do?)
(Translated) Emergency on November 14, 2018, here is my experience, arrived at 9:00 am - we are big max 20 people waiting in the room - I go to sorting to explain my reason for my visit, then I, wait for my name in order to proceed to registration ... wait of about 15 min ... return to the waiting room to be called by the nurse - wait of about 45 min - she gives me a drink in order to get a urine sample, I give the little jar to registration ... back to the waiting room to wait for my name for a visit to a doctor ... my turn arrives, I surrender at the said room, the nurse invites me to put on the blue jacket and tells me to wait ... 30 minutes later the doctor enters the small room (I want to clarify that we hear all the discussions that are happening outside of small rooms ... and I realize that these are not professional discussions (related to work) but very personal sooner. type ts: rain and shine ... basically a waste of time ... because I realize that the voices are those of doctors and nurses ... clear enough to realize that we are waiting for nothing in our rooms ... the doctors should be more in their business and take care of the patients ...) in short, he didn't finish coming to see me ... quick check up and tell me that a blood test will be done and he will sending to radiology ... what I do (in total will have taken a big max 30 minutes ... everything done very quickly ... it is around 12:30 p.m. when I return to the waiting room ... therefore waiting until 3:30 p.m. ... they call me again ... back to the small room and I wait for the doctor ... another 30 min ... he shows up, gives me his verdict ... he leaves and said to come back with prescription ... another wait 10 min ... another person comes back with the paper ... I finally leave the Emergency at 4:15 p.m. ... basically I spent 7 hours ... at this place ... and I didn't come out very impressed with the meds cins .. (nothing to say about the nurses, they are very efficient) but the doctors there ... sorry but a lot of time wasted behind closed doors ...! A chance that I went on a weekday ... I dare not imagine the waiting time on the WEEKEND!
I was a patient in mid January of this year. The triage nurse was amazing but once I was admitted it all went downhill. The nurses and physicians never asked how I was doing and I had to ask multiple times to get things done. They didn't tell me what was going on even if I asked and when they finally gave me my diagnosis, they didn't give me it in writing and they gave me the wrong information. A nurse came to put me in a temporary cast and had to have me standing to do so; I got super nauseous, dizzy and overwhelmed with so much pain and the nurse just left. No one was around to help me and even other patients were calling out to get help for me and still no one came. I know they're busy but it would've been nice to see some compassion and understanding. I swear only the triage nurse looked me in the eyes my whole time there. Three months later and still having issues with this hospital.
My wife arrived there 5:40 am with really strong pain in her ears and by 10:40 am (5 hours later) the doctor had not seen her.

Never been treated so humanely in a hospital before. The staff talks you, actually talks to you, and they care. Felt nice to be heard. Some were a bit rude, but I understood that they were overworked at 4am. Wait time is long, but that's a given at the hospital.
(Translated) To the directors of the hospital, a 2nd night emergency physician would not be too much! Delays of 18 hours is inhuman. My dog is treated faster. Later modification: After treatment, competent personnel. The nurses are really kind and caring. The rooms are fairly clean (flat: there is no one who does the cleaning on weekends) (Original) Aux directeurs de l'hôpital, un 2e urgentologue de nuit ne serait pas de trop!

Perfect hospital/ Love it
Very bad hospital. They never answer the phone and if they do they are very rude an/or hang up on you. I tried for a full week to book an appointment for a test (with a prescription) without any success.
Very friendly staff. Was treated by 7 nurses, 1 doc and 1 surgeon. All extremely attentive. The missing star was the lack of communication between dept. I went thru emergency, xray, CHOC& osteo dept. Diligent cleansing, careful proximity spacing and all staff I encountered, observed the mandatory mask and PPE when necessary. They outdo the Jewish and Demaisoneuve by 3 stats!!
(Translated) I was lucky enough to come across Dr. Amar, very attentive, and who did his best and who did not neglect any track, in addition to this doctor I had a really attentive team, full of sweetness. I thank them very much (Original) J'ai eu la chance de tomber sur le docteur Amar, très à l'écoute, et qui a fait son maximum et qui n'a negligé aucune piste, en plus de ce medecin j'ai eu une équipe vraiment attentive, pleine de douceur. Je les remercie infiniment
This is not a hospital..It is a joke... I waited 9 hours in the emergency and than they told us (me with around 20 other people) that they do not have staff (no doctors) and we have to wait until the next morning...They are terrible at French and also terrible at English. You can't even talk to them...I can't believe that such a hospital exist in a country like Canada.. So unprofessional. Now I understand the high number of COVID-19 cases in Montreal...
(Translated) The geriatric ward is catastrophic. Mr. Norman New returned to this hospital and lost a lot of weight came out completely dehydrated. Despite the advice to nurses, no one to take care of it to feed or hydrate it. When he got home, he had to be taken back to another hospital for the letter under fluids to hydrate. How her doctor didn't do anything. It is very disappointing (Original) Le service de gériatrie est catastrophique.

(Translated) When you are admitted to the hospital, you are classified as a "patient" whereas this term should apply to nurses, at least in the case of my mother. Very dedicated, attentive, smiling ... except a black sheep that has tarnished the reputation of his companions, workmates by his sudden gestures, his absent smile, his slowness to come to the bedside of my mother. She even had the nerve to take off her lunch tray while she was eating. Neither drinking coffee nor tea, my mother asked him to have milk. After three requests, she finally brought her "diluted" milk. Yes, in the glass, there was milk but mixed with water. I find the actions of this degrading nurse who do harm to the good reputation of others who act with professionalism.
Went there for an internship and there was almost no material to be found even the nurses working there at to look for a good 10 minutes to find things that should always be at a hands reach.

Wait to long
Only one star cause I can't give less! Staff is overwhelmed, ER only has one doctor on staff intermittently (also attending to longterm patients), everything is dirty, old and broken, misdiagnosed by young, inexperienced resident doctor who lacked basic knowledge of the common flu. This place should be shut down for malpractice!

Obviously they don't know how to respect a reservation.. such bs. I hope these doctors have to wait when they go see somebody.
(Translated) When I hurt myself I go to consult and pass his radios in clinic. Radios have indicated that my ankle is fractured. I went to the emergency room at 10:30am. I went to the yard at 13h. The nurses present told me that since it was fractured and that I had already consulted in clinic I would be in the priorities and pass quickly. At 7pm they sent me to do radios when I had already done so. To tell me again that my ankle was fractured. I was put back in the waiting room for 3 hours before seeing a doctor who was not answering my questions. How long without walking? Work stop ticket? Plaster or boot? Etc. In short, I spent more than 12 hours on the spot without conclusive result.

This hospital remains to be desired at times. Depending what you're there for! Some doctors are competent and some doctors should not be doctors! I have an 84 year old mother who has congestive heart failure and every problem that comes with it. If your hospitalized in the cardiology department the cardiologists are rather good. If you're hospitalized in general medicine you might as well be on your death bed! The nurses and nurses assistance are over worked so it seems! There's a shortage of staff! With that said if they were more organized, compassionate and on the ball patients would not lack medical attention and/or be neglected. Half of the time they have no clue what's going on! They don't take the time to listen or read the patient files....doctors alike!! If you are unfortunate to be hospitalized in this hospital particularly I recommend that a family member be present as much as possible! You need be stern and be a pain in the neck....they tend to take it more seriously when a family member is present and even then it is nerve wrecking to get any answers and/or decent service. They are always quick to discharge patients and send them home only to return a week later because they don't follow proper protocol. I understand that the government has cut back in the last 15 years but after what I witnessed I would do the same. It is unacceptable that any hospital not just Jean Talon Hospital that it should be unorganized and treat patients (especially elderly people) with lack of respect and very little dignity! Not to say that it should be a 5* spa but it is a hospital after all!! The maintenance of the hospital is not the greatest even though they are always emptying garbage cans, cleaning the floor and cleaning the public bathrooms. The stinge is overwhelming. The 5th floor always has a fowl smell. A clean organized and well ran hospital should not smell like a sewage system!!! On a positive note the social workers in this hospital are excellent! They assist you in every way until the end!
(Translated) This morning I was at the hospital for my appointment, I was very disappointed with the behavior of two nurses, being deaf I asked the nurses to write me on a piece of paper the information they wanted to give me succeed because of course I hear them very little, they refused, they did not know the sign languages either, how me and several people like me can have good services if we still suffer from discrimination like that which I suffered today, I hope that the management of the hospital will remedy this situation because it is simply intolerable.
Doctor arrives 1h30 late. So it took over 4h for the exam even if we had an appointment
If you get dropped at this hospital , do yourself a favor and ask the ambulance to drive you back home or somewhere else. Nurses dont care ,on duty security guard sleeping on his chair , takes for ever to see a nurse that could care less about your situation overall I feel sad we have such excrement service in a 1st world country
(Translated) I came at 12 noon and left the hospital at 5 am I had to wait 5 hours for a medical consultation. For a small paper it was worth a day without Paiye. You were really incompetent.
(Translated) I arrived at 7:40 p.m. and currently it is 8:00 a.m. and I haven't even seen the doctor yet, since there are only 6 in the emergency room. In short, we hear them laughing and making really incompetent jokes.
seriously, go to another hospital because the more i visit this hospital, the worse my experience gets. I was never satisfied. Some staffs are not bilingual and punctual, and simply do not care about their customers/patients. this hospital in general is frustrating and time wasting, would never come back.
The wait time is terrible and the inscription don’t even know what they are doing there . I wonder how many doctors they have or if they just make us wait till the doctors start their shift . I waited a whole 15 hours to see a doctor in the emergency ward something that suppose to be quick . I have no idea how long it takes them to answer a patient when a doctor comes to speak to me they do not spend more than 3 minutes so I wonder what’s making them take time. Also the nurses there are not helpful at all . One was suppose to take my blood for testing and I didn’t know she was suppose to do that I waited for 1 hours I saw here discussing with her colleague and laughing I came out several times to ask them wants the next step . And then she finally said she will be taking my blood . That’s inhuman of them . I know it’s COVID but does making appointments matters Any more . Now I came here for just sinus and cough I have I just need a medication prescription and have waited 14 hours already without even a word from the doctor. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WORKERS . I understand it’s stressful but they should put themselves in our shoes . Sick and looking for assistance and this is how they treated .
Just got home from two—yes, two—visits to the ER in 24 hours, due to a very painful throat infection. First of all, there was hardly anyone there both nights—more the second time, but they prioritized me and I got a bed in a private room quickly. Second, nurses and the doctor (Dr. Hubert, who happened to be there both nights) were SO kind and lovely. And I even got breakfast (which was not their high point, but my mouth tasted like a drug cocktail anyway, and I was grateful for the powdered eggs, which were easy to swallow). Grateful to this hospital.
(Translated) I arrived at 5:00 p.m. and left at 2:00 a.m. without diagnosis ... 9 hours of waiting in total! I left because I heard two women discussing the time they had spent waiting and they were in the 10 am-10.30am time ... absurd! Leaving I asked the average temp to the people at the reception for stitches and knowing that I had been throwing it since 9 am, they answered me from 10 am to 11 am to 12 pm waiting could be necessary ...
(Translated) Okay, COVID sure requires that we all be on our 'a-game', but I'm still very happy with my hospital experience following my outpatient surgery. The admission service was more than efficient and friendly. At the exact time of my appointment I was admitted to the operating room. The medical staff were very warm and heartwarming! I am very pleasantly surprised by the service received!
(Translated) The urgency of this hospital is horrible. After having waited 12 hours in the emergency room, I couldn't make a doctor's appointment. In addition the nurses were irresponsible and very rough.
I went there because I got into a severe accident, falling off of a cliff. I couldn't walk because i had a leg fracture(amongst other fractures and other injuries) and was having trouble pushing the wheelchair with my hands due to having cuts all over my hands. I asked for a bed so i could properly rest my fractured leg and the nurse just laughed at me and told me off and looked at me as if my request was absolutely preposterous.
very Professional and very very nice stuff, highly experienced Doctors and very relaxed atmosphere.
(Translated) I had to go to the emergency room for a mega ankle injury. In 15 minutes I was already in the shock room with a doctor who explained to me what was going to be done. All very professional and attentive, I spent the night in the hospital (my partner was able to stay with me as much as he wanted even if I was in the corridor). The next day they moved me to a room to prepare for surgery and until my leave I had good service and excellent support! Thank you! Merci!
(Translated) I had a very good service be it nurses or doctor, well done (Original) J'ai eu un très bon service que ce soit des infirmières ou du médecin, Bravo
Got even more Epilepsy seizures after I left this hospital than before. They changed my medication and the pills were just making me even sicker. There is no air clim and fan in the room thus making it unbearable at 35 Celsius, I mean come on! Woese hospital in Montreal.
(Translated) Pathetic. Day surgery, no staff support. Nurses very busy laughing and talking about their weekend, and the patients are left to fend for themselves. (Original) Minable.
(Translated) The worst of all Montreal hospitals. Bad attention. Emergency attendants null. No one to help. The doctor sees you Just if you look for him. In the rooms you are a woman and a man. If you want to pee or the help of an attendant you must wait 60 minutes for it to arrive. At that time pee on the ground and you all dirty. No toilet for showering. The nurriture is repeated after two days.
(Translated) After 8 hours of waiting, the doctor didn't give me my papers, didn't say goodbye and let me open the door to his office (heavy enough) to go out, IN A WHEELCHAIR. No respect. UPDATE: I still haven't received my x-ray report, so very late for physio and ortho. UPDATE 2: I had two fractures which were not noticed by the medics, so I spent months walking on them.
(Translated) I would like to thank one nurse in particular, the one who was in charge with the doctor on September 12th am at the outpatient clinic for minor surgery. She was super nice, sourinate and above all reassuring. Many thanks. You are doing a wonderful job, all of you who are at the front line from reception to sorting ...
(Translated) Arrived at 17:00 and out at 21:45 with radiography and diagnostic. Only downside ... I waited 45 minutes for the X-ray, when I was the only one in the corridor. Very good service and the staff is very friendly and attentive to the patients (Original) Arrivé à 17h00 et sortir à 21h45 avec radiographie et diagnostique. The wait is endless and the situation is getting worse with the years ... no matter which government is elected, it will never change except to get worse. (Original) Ca merite absolument aucune etoile.

And they there. Will have prosecutions. Broke my collarbone while biking. The health care professional healed me. They helped me to get back on my feet.
(Translated) Impeccable radiology service, the whole team was very attentive and kind.
(Translated) No one is indicating where to go clearly. Lots of waiting and chatting between employees (Original) Personne n’indique où aller clairement.
(Translated) (Experience from 1 year ago) I arrived in the emergency room with my son in respiratory crisis. It was super effective. I went straight to the yard when I told the security guard that my son was having trouble breathing. My only negative is this triage nurse. She didn't speak to me, didn't answer my questions and acted super slowly. She seemed not to know what to do. The only thing she said to me was something like, "Wait here (bringing me into the consultation room), the doctor will come to see you." And I stayed there with my son who was still breathing badly (I had seen on the sorting machine that his oxygen level varied between 75 and 85%.), Without any word to, at least, reassure me. Super nice doctor (which I had never seen in an emergency) who managed to lighten the mood. Often came back to see us during the administration of treatments to stop the crisis. Something badly done, on the other hand, there was no oxygen mask child size ... We had a radio, and finally diagnosed with pneumonia. And since my son was still oxygenating badly and needed hospitalization, they called an ambuland to transfer us to Sainte-Justine.
Been waiting 9 hours in emergency and haven't even seen a Doctor yet! They forgot another patient in the emergency room for 16 hours and I heard the nurse laugh about it. Terrible really
(Translated) This hospital is now inspired by the Ontario system by taking tests at the early stages of triage. This way when you meet the doctor you already have relevant information about your health. This reduces waiting time and improves the efficiency of the system.

(Translated) On May 21, we called an ambulance because my legs no longer followed me, bcp of difficulty walking. They transported me to the Jean Talon hospital and I was 2 minutes from the Cité de la Santé, the paramedics put me on a wheelchair because there was no stretcher. The chair was braided with a thick rope with a small piece of leatherette on top, a lot of discomfort given my situation. The nurse never came to see me and the patients who were there had a 9-hour wait. So if you go to Jean Talon if you don't do your 9-hour wait or more, you won't pass even before the emergency of your condition. We left before because the guard after 4 hours of waiting he came to tell my husband to go away he could not stay. Service pourri

(Translated) When you go to the emergency room, you are in a hospital in an underdeveloped country. It is very surprising because we are in Canada, in Montreal and yet the sanitary conditions are deplorable. I have had many infusions, and blood tests in my life in many countries less developed than Canada.
How can this hospital still be opened? Why is there no one looking into this horrible place and services... Is there any management within this hospital. Waiting is waiting,, but to be a total B$#$@% and RUDE is not acceptable. And yes, the staff is RACIST..
Like others say, this is probably the worst hospital in the city. The staff lacks knowledge and training... the few doctors that work here are over-scheduled and it often takes a very long time to see one in emergency. They also lose files and records. The one specialist I saw with an appointment was rude and totally disengaged... impatiently asked me 1 question, wrote a prescription and brushed me off in 2 minutes. I am DONE with this hospital. Jean-Talon is aptly named "The Butcher Hospital" for a reason. Avoid it if you can.
(Translated) We will sue them (Original) Nous allons les poursuivres en justice
(Translated) the time is always too long, more than 7h easily, but the staff is quite competent (nurses, doctors ..), I went with my son of 3 years, he had a fever of 40 (pneumonia) l Yard nurse checked every hour, the truth was that we spent all day (13h to 20h) but the doctor was super nice, patient, the radiology also super rapide.bref if we are a little patient and understanding can see that they are doing their best. Le seul hic c'est qu'il n'y a pas de stationnement
(Translated) No humanity. The staff are completely out of touch that they would be capable of committing murder. A nurse came saying to take a blood test, after the third blood test in a row she told me that she had just injected me with something harmful, a strain ... then she left and a doctor came in and wonder, you are not wondering why have you injected something bad? He answers me because you left with a wheelchair and you did not put it back. And it all happened in Quebec in a hospital ... I don't know who to complain to about this situation. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced something like this thank you.
(Translated) For small pathologies only, or if you already know what you are suffering from. I have been suffering from bloody diarrhea with mucus for 10 days with stools 10 to 15 times a day. Frequent night awakenings, fatigue, abdominal cramps. Missed work for 7 days. Life interrupted to follow the rhythms of diarrhea! : not serious if you are not dehydrated, not serious if your life is stopped. You are not offered any solution if you do not ask what you can do to calm or reduce the problem! Are you prescribed any culture to do at home for analysis? Check with the nursing staff if you should keep the vials in the fridge or not, because the doctor is misleading you! Discovery of ovarian cysts during ultrasound: negligent attitude on the part of the doctor and no follow-up proposed in the face of this diagnosis. I had to get angry to have an appointment with a gynecologist !!! Saw two doctors in two days in the emergency room: "soft" and not proactive. Blatant lack of communication between the various departments of the hospital: we are supposed to call you for an appointment for an X-ray? Call yourself because they won't or the doctor forgot to say it was for the next day. Learn about the procedure before an x-ray or ultrasound because you will not be told anything. Nurses and secretaries are more welcoming and knowledgeable than doctors! It is they who will take the trouble to inquire to give you the right information. We feel more CUSTOMERS than PATIENTS! I now understand why this hospital is still among the least busy in Montreal ...
