You will be able to see all the feddbacks of real people like you who are consuming the products and services of Hospital Charles-Le Moyne (Hospital) in the area close to Beloeil (Canada).
To this day this firm receives a score of 2.4 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is very low, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we may say that the score is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to give their review when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Hospital is included in the category of General hospital.
(Translated) An elderly person with lung cancer who has so much pain in his arms that he has to call the ambulance to get help getting up from the toilet seat, is treated like a beggar in the emergency room after having spend 12 hours lying in a bed without a doctor coming in and being insulted by the attendants when she asks for help to get up so that she can get to the bathroom. This is a scenario that is repeated all too often at this hospital. Leaders should be ashamed of the treatment that some patients receive. And believe me, this lady is one of the kindest and sweetest people I know. She does not deserve what she has experienced. Shame on you.
The worst hospital I ever being in . Most of the stuff racist as well
Not a good hospital... had a car accident and when they fix my leg they didn't put the bone together and I had a bar and pins in it. They only found out after a few weeks, because I couldn't walk in it still. Then I had to get one side of pins taking out, to put the bone together. Now it's been 18 years and just found out why my leg still hurts!!! After x rays and ultrasounds, I have a staff infection on the dam bar they put in my leg!! Years of pain. Now I need to get another surgery. To get the bar and last pin out. Glad I'm never going here again gone to a better cleaner hospital. For my surgery !
Good service and friendly staff, for the most part. Obviously in such a large establishment you'll get a few bad apples, but you can't judge the place based on just those people or one bad experience. There are some very talented doctors and nurses, particularly in the cardiology section. Unless you're going to Montréal, this is where you should be on the South Shore.
(Translated) My friend suffered a serious concussion and the paramedics brought him to this hospital. When he got there, he was largely neglected and placed in the waiting room despite the fact that his condition worsened more and more. He was completely confused, didn't know where he was, the month, what had happened during the day, etc. After he was forcibly released (because security agents refused to allow his family to visit him despite his serious condition), he was taken to another hospital. After giving him an initial magnetic scan, the doctor, at the second hospital, realized he had a major brain injury and considered emergency surgery. Fortunately, after a second scan, the blood stain on the scan diminished and the doctor ruled that surgery was no longer necessary. All this could not have been done without the forcible entry into this hospital and the personal decision of his relatives to transfer him to another hospital due to the negligence of Charles-Le-Moyne Hospital. Avoid these emergencies at all costs!
(Translated) This is the second time I have been to the emergency room, the first time being for a stray cat bite. My hand was enormously swollen, all we did in 12 hours was smear my hand to see if the swelling was getting worse. The doctor was astonished to see that we waited so long to give me a vaccine against tetanus, result I had to go to do a treatment in antibacteriology which could have been avoided if taken care of when arriving. Second triage experience, my 1 year old son has episodes where he becomes blue-mauve lips, difficulty breathing, fever, unable to sleep, irritable, in short, we evaluate it for fever .... When I was called back triage, the nurse tells me to go home since the fever is falling and she doesn't understand what I'm talking about her lips bluish because it has never been marked on the record !!!! I even called a pediatrician before moving and they told me to go to the emergency room quickly, something I also mentioned at triage. Anyway, I went to the ER last night for nothing because pediatrics takes care of it. Thank you emergencies ....
(Translated) Impeccable service from the whole team for the new section. Very well received by all the employees, always smiling and polite, the next child will be in the same place assured. Thank you again to the whole team for your support and your professionalism!
(Translated) Terrible. Patients are treated like animals. I waited 12 hours with a very, very painful and serious kidney infection for nothing. I left because I could do more. The triage nurse had hit my kidneys too hard, and when she saw me cry she said to me, "Don't you want me to help you then?". So disrespectful. When the tylenols worked more for the intense pain, I went to the McGill hospital near the Vendôme metro. In less than 4 hours they had given me all the examinations and necessary care. (Original) Terrible.
Been here multiple times, consistently proves to be the worst hospital in Quebec. Avoid at all costs. My girlfriend waited for 12 hours with a concussion after a car crash, we ended up leaving after I spoke with the nurse and she said my girlfriend was not a priority, she was bottom of the list. Went somewhere else and saw a doctor within an hour. This hospital is absolutely disgraceful. Negative 5 stars.
(Translated) They are barbarians !! Okay, not all of them, but the nurse who dressed my wounds did anything: apply an adhesive bandage to only half of the wound, with the adhesive stuck directly in the middle of the wound, and l '' other half of the wound not healed In addition they gave me audible instructions, I do not know when or how to redo the dressings Certainly Quebec hospitals are full of "surprises" ... Quelle tristesse
Head downtown instead.
(Translated) The employees in the delivery section were amazing. My spouse was there for several days, regardless of the employees who were there, (change of number) the nurses and doctors were very professional, smiling, reassuring. A nurse even stretched her figure to stay with my girlfriend to complete the delivery. My girlfriend had asked him because she liked him a lot! ❤️
This hospital has its issues but the personnel is really considerate and devoted. They saved my father's life on two occasions. The nurses and doctors were very professional and caring. He stayed in the cardiology section and in the observation section.
(Translated) 2 stars because after getting out of the wait, the doctors and nurses who were not in the emergency triage did their job well. On the other hand, no more, because after having been 4 times at the triage, they did not do their jobs decently for example: not to note in my file important information like my pregnancies, not to do ECG while came in with heart discomfort and so on. I understand that in emergencies there are many things to do and even very rude patients dear nurses, but you never have the right to neglect the patients, especially when they are honest and respectful with you. You could have put my health and that of my unborn baby at risk and I find it unforgivable.
I've had both good and bad experiences with the staff. The layout of the hospital is a little weird
There is no Wi-Fi in this hospital? Where am I the 1980's. The color in these room is awful.
there is always a big wait line, for kids a dvise to bring thrmr to children hospital at montreal
Was operated on Thursday that went fine. The staff was great then I get put in a room and at first everything is fine then when I'm finally able to sleep 12:30 they wake me up to take vitals, cool, then at 1:30 am they come in to get my roommate for an operation, but not delicate about it at all. Then they come back at 4:00 again same thing as loud as possible. The next night again at 12:30 then at 3:30 they need to give my semi private room that my insurance is paying for to someone else and stuck me in a ward. The overnight staff here have absolutely no sympathy. On top of all that the women's gyno section is with children who are crying and screaming day and night. How the hell are you supposed to sleep or get any kind of rest, I'm better off at home where it's quiet and my family can watch over me.
(Translated) They do their best ... ridiculously too busy ... minimum 12 hours on each visit. (Original) Elles font leur possible...ridiculement trop achalandé...minimum 12 heures à chaque visite.
I waited over 7 hours for a X-ray
Some of their staff is very rude to you if you do not speak French. I have a high risk pregnancy and I am unable to even speak to the staff of the high risk gynocologyst because they hear me speaking English and tell me to speak French and when I can't they hang up the phone. I'm already 27 weeks pregnant with no gynocologyst even though my doctor faxed them the requisition they haven't made me an appointment. Quite a few nurses will ignore you or degrade you if you speak to them in English. This is a disgusting behaviour. They work in the HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. Put your pejudices aside and provide medical care like you're supposed to.
Took good care of me when needed ⭐️
Waited for 6 hours with possible broken ankle. Gave up after that as was told it could be another 4 hours easily. I'm from the UK on holiday and this is my last day here. I will wait until I get home..... I would rather endure the pain. The staff are rude. The car park machines are rubbish and the vending machine didn't work. I'm sore and hungry and now have to take my broken ankle on a plane. AVOID.
(Translated) The worst experience. My 5 month pregnant wife went to the ER for pain in her stomach. She waited 9 hours and they never picked her up, the workers are inhumane and rude. Where have human values remained? Going home with the same pain without knowing if the baby is healthy.
(Translated) You are losers. Not professionals, for an urgent case an operation for a double fracture, the patient has to wait more than 12 hours, on the third day he also enters the operating room after a 12-hour wait. It's like it's free, shame on you, you don't even deserve 1 (Original) Vous êtes nuls.
Brought in for what I believed to be high blood pressure but discovered the problem was my heart. Amazing staff who quickly assessed the situation and arranged for my operation within 2 weeks of being admitted.
(Translated) Tiny pediatric outpatient clinic waiting room where parents have to leave their strollers outside and pile up like sardines with their children coughing, sniffing and screaming at them and others. The waiting chairs are so crowded that contagion is almost inevitable. How is this acceptable? Is there an infection prevention department in this hospital that seems to have emerged from medieval times? The service was still acceptable without more, with little waiting and by appointment, so I add a star for that.
(Translated) Ten stars in the Department of Oncology, who took care of my husband very quickly and efficiently, whose blood tests that morning indicated acute leukemia. Immediate hospitalization and start of chemotherapy treatments within 24 hours. We were warmly welcomed by all the staff members, oncologists and nurses, all of whom demonstrated great compassion and unimaginable professionalism; Despite this terrible news, we were able to reassure ourselves. Oncologists have taken the time to explain this type of cancer in detail, to answer questions, to sympathize, to offer different services. For parking, it is possible for relatives of long-term inpatient oncology patients to obtain a monthly vignette at a reduced price. It helped me a lot. Cela m'a beaucoup aidé.
Pathetic wait times. 15+ hours, even with serious symptoms.
(Translated) I have just taken exams in cardiology and nuclear medicine, and I have only good comments: warm, respectful, empathetic and attentive staff, both in cardiology and nuclear medicine. I was treated very carefully. Thank you for your dedication.
(Translated) I like talking about the building, it is easy to orient yourself there. In terms of staff or waiting time, well they must be at the end of the line with traffic. The poor climate in dedicated medical care services is more a government issue than the poor service provided to patients. In short, they do their best!
(Translated) nurses in emergency triage are doing their job well, they are fast, efficient, and fine. what is flat is that it looks like there is only one doctor: waiting time between 12h and 16h. In 16h, we receive 10patients. I left with my daughter of 14 months to 40.2 of fever, after 3 days of fever and recent infections. she had three such episodes of fever during the wait where she moaned and shivered, was given tylenol and waited for 16h. it's a real torture.
Very bad hospital...my husband almost died twice here...once they gave him 3 time the dose of cortisone and the second time they kept him without food or water for 5 days awaiting an operation....I had to bring him to the Jewish General where they rehydrated him and told us that he would not survive an operation as weak as he was.....that means they would have surely killed him...
(Translated) I was 8 hours on standby and they never treated me with very bad service (Original) Estuve 8 hrs en espera y jamás me atendieron muy mal servicio
Very good care
I don't have the luxury of going to any other hospital in the event of an emergency as I live in the South Shore...but to anyone that can avoid this hospital GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Pretty dirty, extremely long wait times and unprofessional staff. After waiting 11.5 hours in ER...you heard right 11 hours, they misdiagnosed my tendon injury and I ended up injuring 2 tendons as a result. I had to come back again...and schedule a surgery 3 months later. Total recovery time was 4 months + physio...all for something that could've initially been dealt with. I understand that people make mistakes, but they dismissed any and all of my concerns and incessantly repeated "Are you the doctor or am I?". I will say that half the staff is very professional...the other half not so much. There is no excuse for such behavior.
RUN! WORSE STAFF, WORSE HOSPITAL EVER!!!
(Translated) Excellent doctors and nurses, this hospital must provide the same services as Montreal, which is not accessible because of parking lots, demonstrations, blocked bridges, traffic ect. Not easy when you are sick. Then the south shore must provide the same services because Montreal is an INACCESSIBLE ISLAND ???????? CONGRATULATIONS all the employees who have to provide medical and health care during the virus crisis that we are experiencing for many more years. Hospitals ???? are full of protocol and waste ’of public money so there is no lesson to be learned from people.
Update: still here and still nobody called me. Been here since 11 am and it’s 8:24 PM. Mind you there aren’t a lot of people in the waiting room. The nurse in REEVALUATION (short with red hair and a mark on her face) very rude as if she is the one waiting for nearly 12 hours. May have to leave uncalled. We came in because I had a stroke. This hospital is very slow beyond belief. They need to fix their system because people have been here longer than me (still here). The doctors take their sweet time as if we don’t need their help. QUEBEC FIX YOUR HEALTH SYSTEM !!!!!!!!!
very bad i would give a -100 if I could because the staff were lazy worked at a speed that would kill a patient.NEVER EVER GO TO THAT HOSPITAL.
I came here midnight i waited very long like 20 hours till they diagnose appendicitis. After that i stayed two nights nurses were friendly, good food, good doctor for free. That why i put 5 stars.
DO NOT GO THERE! After my experience i'd rather pass away at my own home with dignity and respect than be humiliated like this..... Iv seen animals treated better.
You're better off going to a Veterinarian or a Witch Doctor.
Amazing hospital! The best one I've ever been! Thank you to the staff on 3rd floor wing south for treating my father with such care and attention. Xo
(Translated) Dumb and cold triage nurses I was diagnosed with a severe ear infection that could have made my right ear deaf if not diagnosed within two weeks and she didn't care to see me a doctor even though I did. was willing to wait all night, plus they give you arbitrary appointments to see a doctor at the clinic without asking for your opinion. If you want to die or lose a limb, you've come to the right school.
Absolutely terrible service at the emergency room. Not only was the curly red head nurse in a bad mood but she was extremely rude to me and another patient right in front of me and then had the nerve to look at me and ask "is it just me or are people stupid tonight?" I said "excuse me?" And she said "nevermind". Super rude and impatient woman. And I thought pierre boucher was bad...
(Translated) Please avoid this hospital at all cost. Avoid this hospital at all costs. (Original) Please avoid this hospital at all cost. Éviter cet hôpital à tout prix.
They need to be kind and understanding.. Had kind of a bad experience....
(Translated) No empathy, lack of skill, endless waiting, forced to leave and go to private to see a doctor. We are told that the concussion is serious but in the hospital it is not the same story, it is not taken seriously by the nurses. Vomiting after a concussion they say it's a gastro, anything!
(Translated) Bad experience lived in this hospital (Original) Mauvaise experience vécu dans cet hôpital
Worst service the nurses are unprofessional and it's not just by one experience I am talking it happened on more than 5 occasions. If you have an real emergency I'm telling you don't make the mistake of going to Charles lemoyne hospital especially if it's concerning you child. I went there more than once for my daughter because she was born there but it's the same disappointment I've seen nurses shout at patients. Unprofessional worst health service. Choose to take my advice or not what's in the dark will be in the light and that hospital is not the best of quality service
I would give 0 star if I could. This is the worst hospital beyond your imagination. One male nurse in ER is horrible. I saw him kick the bed of one unconscious girl to make it move. When I ask him for a blanket, he was saying what does cold in English mean, then never come back. After 12hrs waiting with no exam, the doctor told me that he GUESS that my problem was something. Ridiculous!!!
(Translated) Very disastrous psychological experience in motherhood. A very ... nurse to us.
very good hospital and has very good care
Being waited for 9 hrs....
(Translated) A big zero (Original) Un gros zéro
Worst hospital experience I've had. Took my wife here because of a suspected broken foot while on holiday from the UK. We waited for 6 hours, when I asked about the wait I was then told the average wait was 12 hours on a good day. We then walked out and decided to wait for treatment in the UK (probs quicker). I'll remember this experience before saying anything bad about our NHS service in the UK. Never before have I encountered such rude staff who care so little for the patients and their situation. Avoid this place at all costs unless you have a death wish.
AVOID THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BUTCHERED OR DEAD . They almost killed me and my baby. To many stories of mal practice. They need to be sued and stopped as they are a poor excuse of the hospital and they dont take patients seriously. Terrible absolutely terrible. If i could rate zero stars i will. ***Edit :On side note they do have wonderful clinics . I am truly blessed with an amazing gynecologist. ????***
If I could give this place a negative I would. I checked in at 6pm on the dot. I came with my 11 month old who had been vomiting and diarrhea for the past two days and i just couldn’t take seeing her like that anymore and this is the closest hospital to me. 1. The French staff is extremely rude. They don’t even try to speak English. And I speak French but not fluently so to get the right information to them I need to speak in English. 2. I spent 6 hours waiting to see a doctor that I never saw for my infant .I asked multiple times why my daughter hadn’t been seen and that she was flush red... she said “ your daughter is not priority” I saw people come in three hours after me go home before me.. until finally the lady who was with her teen daughter sitting next to me who got there almost three hours after me got called before my infant baby.. to see a doctor I just had enough and I packed up and left. And I will not be coming back to this hospital. Worst hospital I’ve ever been to . And I’ve been to quite a few. And this by far takes the win for worst hospital in history and this isn’t the first time I’ve waited hours to not be seen. How dare they make me spend the night in a waiting room with my sick infant and no follow up information. On top of alll of this. The security guard was going around waking people out their sleep in the waiting for for laying down.. just right down awful experience. And never again.
(Translated) The worst hospital I have ever visited. By accompanying my daughter to the emergency room in a state where she cannot even sit up, the person who distributes the bracelets gives her the color green without even asking her about her state of health. Inside it is even worse, a tensed security officer in a military tone (I think in uniform), orders patients to sit down. Finally, sorting, ah sorting the nurses decide your fate as they please, my daughter cannot even sit down and the nurse tells her "you are going to wait for several hours", when the little one asks her innocently for how much of time. I don't know if it's Quebec or it's this hospital, but the medical staff has become inhuman, full of contempt for Quebecers or perhaps because we are Arabs? I cannot confirm, but seeing the behavior of these same people with the other (whiter) patients, one wonders if it was right to settle here.

My family has had good experiences here. Well, good in terms of service. Bad in terms of one of us was sick.
Avoid at all costs, the nurses in the emergency are incredibly rude and show absolutely no compassion when you ask them how long the wait is, they act like you’re bothering them. I’ve never received such bad service and I can’t believe I’m saying that at a hospital Edit: Once you pass emergency, nurses and doctors are incredible. I changed my rating from 1 to 3 because the difference was like night and day. I still waited 15 hours to see a doctor (and I was a second degree emergency, after people with heart attacks) but thats Quebec medical system for you. we’re still blessed to be here, but the system is broken and this province needs to put its priorities in check
I had surgery on December 27, 2017, a complete hip replacement. I cannot thank enough all the personnel who took care of me during my stay on the 2nd floor, this includes nurses, physio therapist and nurses aid and of course my orthopedist surgeon and his team. I followed all recommendations during my recuperation away from home and am finally home now to continue with physio therapy and am aiming to getting back to normal as quickly as I can. Thank you for your efforts and words of comfort and those warm blankets the day of the surgery!
(Translated) The pediatrics team are doing a great job.
Worst hospital of life. They let a child with appendicitis wait 18 hours. Ridiculous. Horribly managed.
(Translated) I am flabbergasted by the lack of humanity. Why cannot a person presenting to the hospital, therefore ill, be accompanied !! It is a total aberration. I understand the health context but the fact remains that if the person who accompanies is positive for Covid, the patient is probably also ... When we are sick, we need someone to help us, if only to get a coffee or something to eat considering the MANY hours spent in the emergency room. In addition, a sick person is vulnerable and is not necessarily able to express his needs, and without considering the medical errors that arise ... If a person is there, he can at least ensure that he receives care. and that she is treated well.
Very poor service and lack of competent in the Neurology office on the 3rd floor, the woman at the reception is called Diane had very bad bad attitude !! I walked in and she was asking me questions and I answered all her questions and she asked me for my ID and I thought she was asking for my hospital and health cards so I took out my two cards and dropped one. She started to roll her eyes and said I tossed my card to her !!!! Seriously?!?! ????????????
The service is horrible, waited for 6hours and no one cares about you, I was suffering from great pain in stomach and they still put people that they think is more "Urgent " in front of you no matter how much earlier you came before them, felt like never gonna be my turn because they kept squeezing people in front of you, I waited 6 hours and my place got even more behind than where I was, are you freaking kidding me? They don't care if you are in pain because they can't feel it and can't see it!
Emergency services r treated well and may take long depending on the emergency.
Very very poor service I waited one day at the emergency room none of the doctors see me
Professional, polite and helpful staff from the receptionist to blood test, heart and MRI. Merci beaucoup
Well organized considering covid. Polite staff. Visiting family member.
Still here since 9 hours and I can’t meet a doctor all people came after me finished already and I am still here didn’t eat anything and very sick very tired and I went to talk with inspection guy he spoke with me very bad. I don’t know what can I do I am very sick and tired and nobody listen More than very bad
(Translated) I am driving my husband, 87, to the Emergency at CLM, at 4 p.m. on February 3, 2020; he has been treated without success since the beginning of January for pneumonia; his condition deteriorated; At 8 p.m., as we call a person on time at the Emergency, we decide to come home to go to an emergency clinic the next day; while he goes to get his hospital card. I'm going to get the car; he then tells me that he is asked to stay, we will call him shortly and keep him under observation for the night. I'm coming back home. The morning of Feb. 4. he calls me at 8am; we just called him to see a doctor. We left him on a chair in a room of people coughing, etc. He didn't call me to go get him, thinking that they were going to call him any minute and for don't wake me up. What is the use of an Emergency which is not one? What is the point of a health system that mistreats us in this way? They do not refuse people to the emergency (fear of being prosecuted) but the result is the same ... There is a shortage of emergency clinics, especially in the evenings and weekends.
Would give zero stars if I could. This hospital emergency seems more like its handling out cruel and unusual punishment for God knows what crime. Majority of the staff seem to have no capacity for empathy and only care about liability. I have been to hospitals in 2 different provinces and 3 'developing' countries and never seen this kind of service in my life. Well done Quebec.
(Translated) I took my boyfriend to the emergency room on a Friday night. They let me stay with him the whole time. Very little wait and all the nurses and doctors we saw were great! Very compassionate team. We were able to return home after ~ 2 hours of intervention, well equipped and with the necessary information. Thank you for everything ! Lab lost blood work for my daughter. An analysis for her but allergy. It took a year before they figured out what happened! Start away if you want to live.
(Translated) Very limited parking. The noise may have ended in an emergency because of the work. It's not human to keep people waiting in this environment. (Original) Stationnement très limité. Worst hospital.
After spending two very very painful and long days, I was sent back home without diagnosis nor treatment. Although they were telling me about finding bacteria in my tests, they said maybe it’s a virus that will go away? ????????♀️ Now I am home on a 6th day of fever (that is rising). What a waste of time and money this place. Avoid at all costs.
(Translated) A greeting of appreciation to the employees on the third floor for the attention and good service of the patients and the warmth of the treatment. very good care in Dialysis nures stuff
Great service, people are courteous and professional.
I was hospitalized for a CVA, and now in outpatient care. My words are just to thank the HCLM: Doctors, nurses, technical staff, auxiliaries, even service personnel. Thanks so much to all of them for their excellent attention.
Worst hospital I been to. They will make you wait until you die.
Thanks to the staff that cared for me, and tried to take 2 second to talk to me even if busy. Merci au personel davoir prit quelque seconde pour me jaser malgres tres occuper
(Translated) I waited 14 hours before seeing a doctor and at each call I stay 30 minutes in the diagnostic rooms before the doctor shows up. On June 28th, I arrive at 23:30 in the emergency room I have the next day, which is June 29 at 13:30 and I receive the final diagnosis at 16:00. I had extremely bad shoulder after an aggression. First I am waited 4 hours before even seeing a nurse and every 3 hours a new nurse gives me a new evaluation and gives me different code 2 to 4 (the 3 nurses who treat me are not even able to have a similar evaluation), make me swallow 12 "painkiller" pills in 8 hours. I complained several times because I was extremely hurt and I absolutely wanted to see a doctor, the nurse was passing people whose condition was much less urgent, even the other patients when discussed said that they find his abnormal. The behavior of a particular nurse was pure racism, it was clearly ethnicity discrimination. When I speak politely to the nurse she answers me here it's like her if you're not happy complain to the government. It is a catastrophic experience, my last visit to public hospitals in Quebec !!!

(Translated) It is not possible that we have been in the hospital since 3 pm and now the doctor calls us until 11 pm to tell us to go home my mother-in-law, her state of health is serious then it has nothing to do with covid 19 It's totally other symptoms but it's disappointing to know how a hospital can play with the lives of people like this. You want your loved ones to be treated with compassion and respect? You want them to heal and live? Find another hospital. This one is a waiting room. It's been terrible since before COVID and it's terrible after.
(Translated) If I could put 0 stars I would. My family doctor sent me to the emergency room for a kidney problem that I have had for over a month. Super important to take urgent tests. Well I was seated on a chair for 16 1/2 hours and saw NO doctor. I returned home I was no longer able to stay there, too tired and in pain. The nurses did not prioritize me even though it was my doctor who told me to go. I calculated the number of people who passed in front of me 81, they could not all be in worse condition than me certain etk very very bad experience for me !!
The worst hospital in South shore Montreal. I brough my mother in law with a terrible back pain. Very bad experience. Staff in emergency room don't care about people suffering. They Were laughing and telling jokes each other meanwhile people are having a awful moment. Waiting time was 15 hours. We left after 6 hours waiting for a doctor.

(Translated) Parking difficult. Upon arrival you must find a parking which is difficult because there is little. The service is according to traffic at the Emergency, but normally there is a lot of waiting. For other departments, the service is good. The staff is dedicated to the patients' cause, but lacks staff and space. (Original) Stationnement difficile.
I went on monday evening with a kidney infection and after waiting for about 8-9 hours I was sent back home without seeing a doctor. They just gave me an appointment for their clinic. Went to the clinic, they were behind on their appointments so i had to wait an extra 3h, saw a doctor for 2 minutes who just gave me antibiotics with no tests or mri and told me to go back in 2-3 days if i don't get better. Now im at a different hospital waiting to get antibiotics trough an IV. Unless you get there by ambulance I would not recommend it.
After 10h of waiting with status "urgent" did not see a doctor. Bad place, do not recommend!
(Translated) Infernal waiting for emergencies. It's been years I did not go but last week I was surprised they did not show the evolution of the queue nor tell you your priority. You have to wait patiently without any indication of when your turn will be. I waited from 8:00 to 16:00, when I was called at 16:00, the nurse said 'I called you two hours ago and you did not answer, ... . The problem is that I was only 20min away between 12:30 and 13:00 to buy food at the restaurant in the basement of the hospital. When I returned, there was no hint that I had been called or that my turn was over. Very disappointing and enraging to learn that we waited for 3 hours more just for that. I give two stars because the staff do their best with the means of board.
An example for care, work to be done. But great psych staff.
Great place to spend 18hs waiting
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors of this hospital, honorable and good-natured people who helped us in our illness. Thank you all.
(Translated) if you are in pain or have doubts about your state of health this is not the place to go, I almost died paralyzed there and it could have been avoided. Good service, staff highly qualified. I recommend it.
Being from Ontario and needing some assistance on August 7, 2019 around 9:30 a.m. I just wanted to say THANK YOU (Merci) to the Emergency department, especially a male nurse (Jean) and lady at Security for their professionalism and their assistance.
super
Stop abusing your nurses get it together ????
May god bless all of your little soul here. Im praying you get better.
If i could give a zero star, i would give but this hospital doesn’t deserve a zero star. My mom she even can’t move her legs because of her back and the receptionist is telling me she is not in priority. The stuffs are super rude, they have no sense of talking, they don’t even know how to talk with the patients.
Security agent : "Madame you are not in your salon, you can not lay down on 2 chairs"; Me: what!!???? " Yes , I Know , I'm in a hospital. Usually I set in my salon and lay down in my bedroom"????. Could just ask am I feeling well.
A very close relative of mine was very well treated here. Thank you to all the stuff.
(Translated) I was in the HBU unit, I spent a night there. I would like to acknowledge the work and the exceptional patience of nurses Jennifer, Erika and Mélodies, as well as attendants Abdel, Jasmin and Laurie. Despite the crazy schedules, the complicated patients, they were impeccable. I am extremely happy to have been in their hands.
I hate this hospital because the people who work there are often without any humanity... the process for admittance is slow and I have been witness to many injustices as well. A pregnant lady who would have to wait 14 hours to see a doctor doesn't make sense to me. They don't even offer an alternative. It's about making sure they don't take any responsibility so that they don't get sued. And doctors don't wait until you can speak to ask you questions. If you don't respond they simply make a decision for you. Tell me that's not criminal!
Came in with my 11 month old baby for a swollen neck. The wait wasnt too bad (5.5). When we finally saw the doctor they decided to keep her and put her on antibiotics (mind you it was about 4am). Well guess what? They forget to communicate within each other and they forgot about us in the exam room! When we finally got up to the pediatric floor they didnt offer anything for my baby, they showed us the room, asked me a bunch of irrelevant questions like "whats your religion?" and left. So now im sitting here with no clue of when we will get to go home or even a clue of whats going on. Oh and theres no installations for the parents to get at least a decent level of comfiness, i had to sit on the floor. That was one thing. Second thing, while we were waiting at the emergency room, a little girl threw up, poor her.. well 3 hours after it happened the puddle was still on the floor! Next to a spilled beverage of some sort. Gross. And in the exam room there was a bloody bandage on the floor. Gross. In the room theres trash from previous patients. Gross. And finally, i dont not generalize here because some of the staff members i encountered were really nice BUT most of them are just rude and unprofessional. Last time i come here. The end
I went here for a lump on my throat. Terrified the living hell out of me ... I was told i am not a priority and was given an appointment the next day. No big deal. Was told my appointment was at 2 and i got taken in at 6.. For an appointment!! Was told i had an infected tooth and i should get it fixed asap since its dangerous . got antibiotics. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, and shoo'd me out as soon as he could. Went to a different hospital in Montreal and within 4 hours i was being sent to a nearby dentist for a wisdom tooth removal because it was at a dangerous phase. If you have the resources to- go to CHUM in Montreal instead. This place is horrid. Id give a zero if i could.

It was horrid the nurses on 3rd floor north treated me like a leper because I did not speak French I was there everyday to be with my husband who had a stroke never did see a nurse check on him when I was there I am happy now he has been transferred to a rehab pitcher next english person who ends up there
1 star is more than enough. This hospital is worst hospital in greater Montreal. I want to give 0 star.
Only reason I gave one star is because there's no zero star. Staff rude, widespread apathy through all departments.

(Translated) If I could give this establishment negative zero I would. If you are in pain, your condition may get worse when you go to this hospital. I was hospitalized in an emergency and stayed for a few days before having an urgent operation, I left this hospital traumatized. What about nurses without any skills, no level, no sense of humanity ... they think they are doctors while I must admit that the doctors who operated on me were excellent, even nicer and more humble than all the nurses their only hobbies are chatting with each other. I felt like I was in a chicken coop.
(Translated) The pinnacle of medical mediocrity. I go to the emergency room with complaints of abdominal pain, vomiting and significant weight loss. After hours of waiting where they ignore my complaints, my symptoms give me a false diagnosis of gastroenteritis. After a month of back and forth, I finally have an attack of abdominal pain so severe that I can no longer walk. After hours my mother was forced to intervene and asks for an ultrasound. Which shows an abdominal tumor 13cm wide. After several blundering treatments and negligence by the staff, I was fortunately transferred to the CHUM to consult with a specialist surgeon. I still pass but understand one thing of this matter, if you want to heal or even live ... go elsewhere.
Very bad experience. After 19 hours in the ER with my 4 years old daughter we left without results. We going to try a clinique.

Was admited to the covid center with pneumonia.the staff was very caring and humain. Thank you so much .i appreciate all youre great work.
(Translated) We had been on an emergency since 6pm. And we had yet to meet the doctor at 6am in the morning. So long to wait. There were very few people in the emergency room and we would have to wait at least 12 hours. It doesn't make sense. Worst hospital (Original) Nous étions en urgence depuis 6pm. (Translated) When calling the outpatient clinic, there is no answer choice to talk to the gynecology department. I'm having as good an experience as can be expected in an emergency . The doctors and nurses are very nice, and do a great job. Hopefully I won't be back. I'd also like to say thank you to all the staff.
Worst Hospital Some sweet and kind employees, but a lot have a lack empathy and patience. Lots of incompetence. Traumatizing experience when you go there for suicide prevention at the emergency, freezing and waiting for 16 hours.
i can speak a little english, the information's service of people very nice.
In extreme pain, unable to walk, sit or stand. Called an ambulance to bring me to this hospital. I am waiting since 12 hours now, but didn't get to see the doctor yet. The staff don't care if you're hungry or thirsty or in pain! Free healthcare? At what price? I would rather pay for my health to receive a better treatment!
(Translated) The worst hospital I have seen in my life !! You come home sick .. you go out even sicker (Original) Le pire hopital que j'ai vu dans ma vie!! Tu rentres malade.. tu sors encore plus malade
(Translated) I think this Hospital should be simply closed. He's not in patient care, how can anyone wait a whole day in the emergency room? With a disorganized functioning system. I am really sorry. I think going to this hospital is killing yourself in the emergency room.
Every time i come there its always min 4h.They have 1 orthopedic specialist per day who receives patients and doing operations! What's wrong with this system?! Last time I came with my daughter with a broken leg to remove the cast, he even didn't check the leg of my daughter. Didn't give any reabilitation recommendations, nothing. Now she can't walk and the knee is enlarged. She is crying as she is in pain when she is trying to walk.
(Translated) Never seen such incompetence on the part of the staff of a hospital. No but seriously is this a joke? Do not go there your condition is not going to get worse it will get worse. (Translated) (TO BE CONTINUED ....) I am currently in the hospital awaiting news of my mother who had surgery for kidney cancer. We were informed that the operation would last approximately 2 hours and an additional hour for the resuscitation room. So she entered the operating room around 10:15 a.m. We expected to see her around 1:30 pm / 2 pm at her living room. Noticing what still did not arrive around 3:20 pm, we went to find out what is happening because we are starting to be worried. The answer was that they were waiting for a medicine that the hospital did not have in their possession and that they were waiting for this medicine on order. It's quite special to hear a response like this. You don't expect that especially from a place where they are supposed to treat you. I tried to find out more but it is impossible. So now we have lots of scenarios and it's a very unpleasant context. I wonder why a manager or the doctor does not come and tell us what is happening. It seems to me that c the minimum. It is now 4:27 pm and we still have no news. I find it irresponsible and unprofessional. We will see the rest and follow a new comment to complete a final opinion on this hospital. 5:05 p.m .: We went back to the desk to ask them to speak to the doctor and the receptionist was subsequently welcoming and noticed our concerns. She called to ask to tell the doctor to come see us. 5:30 p.m .: we are informed that my mother is in intensive care without more. Not very reassuring. 6:09 p.m .: The doctor meets us to give us an overview of the situation. Good news, my mother had a hemorrhage and in the end everything was fine. Phew! A second breath brings us back to life. My final opinion: 4 stars for the explanation and the late kindness of the doctor. 5 star for the understanding secretary. Now it's up to you to judge. June 13, 2018 .... The operation had gone badly and the consequences .......... (to be continued for the rest of the events soon) (Original) ( A SUIVRE....)
Had to wait 45 minutes for a tyleneol when i broke my ankle. The nurses are nice but the orthopedic doctors are useless and give you attitude as if they were better than you
(Translated) The specialists are very competent. Emergency room nurse yelled at me, how much you weigh????♀️. It's not my weight that bothers but ayoye. During an exam which lasted about thirty minutes, the secretary came to talk about her weekend with the technicians. She has no business in the examination room. It's not chic chic.
Horrible hospital. Spent 12 hours there without seeing a doctor!
For pregnant women that has fever and should wait for 15 hours which is really not easy. this is the worst hospital in montreal.
(Translated) My father was recently hospitalized and the nursing staff took good care of him. For my part, all the people I came into contact with were very warm; whether it is security, administrative or nursing staff. Same story with my mother. We are very satisfied with the care and service obtained.

(Translated) Limited access during the night: doors in front of the locked parking lot between 12:30 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. and also alongside Taschereau Boulevard. This information is only given to you when you arrive at the door. You have to go to the emergency room, but you are not told anywhere that it is THE ONLY OPEN DOOR to enter. So go around the hospital overnight with a baby in your arms during a snowstorm = really very unpleasant. It is a hospital, not a bank. Also, like 99% of all Quebec hospitals, the wait varies between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. (no joke).
0 star is more than enough for you people! The staff works on a robotic scheme, no updates, no respect for visitors, and most importantly RACIST! This hospital should change every single staff in here!
The nurses are terrible with a horrible attitude they really don’t care about you. The hospital’s system is beyond awful. No one should be waiting 8 hours. The external clinic is also the most dysfunctional place i’ve been at.
Sat there for 12 hrs just to be told they lost my info and that I had to start all over again, worst experience of my life, somebody should honestly sue these people... AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
Waited 20 minutes on hold just to make an appointment, that's fine. Someone answers, asks me the name the of the doctor, says something incomprehensible and hangs up.

Bad in bones fixing almost lost my left foot
Fast, and we'll organized
Nop!!
(Translated) My mother had the operation there and the nurses neglected her she suffered martyrdom even after the operation and we let go even if she was not in a state to come back and that prescription for painkillers was very weak I was honestly angry and saddened for my mother (Original) Ma mère c'est fait opérer la bas et les infirmières la négligeait elle a soufere le martyre même après l'opération et l'on laisser partir même si elle n'était pas en état de revenir et ça prescription pour les anti douleur était très faible j'ai été honnêtement fâcher et attristé pour ma mère
(Translated) If I could not put any star I would I have never seen a hospital so bad ... my boyfriend waited 13 hours of time. When there was a change in number, the nurse changed his category and told him that it was nothing 1pm and that the average is 24 hours. In short, she told him that he had come here for nothing and that he had nothing. ANYTHING!! AVOID GOING THERE !!!!!! N'IMPORTE QUOI!! ÉVITEZ D'Y ALLER!!!!!!
Honestly you'd be better to self diagnose and self medicate. Adult with 4 day high fever brought in by ambulance and presently at 14 hours. Inept, inefficient, indifferent and ignorant
This is a terrible place. The doctors do not care what happens to the patients. Please, if you have a love one here - make sure to move them. The patients basically have to watch out for each other.
There is no response or respect about your time
In my visit the triage nurse hardly understood english, and wrote false report which was also falsely understood by the doctor who did not clear it up with me. On a high blood pressure visit, they forced a covid 19 test on me, gave me wrong medication, made me strip in front of group of people and kept me overnight all against my will and the medical examiner regarding my complaint wrote a false report to justify the action. Too bad for such upfront clean hospital to have some incompetent staff to my surprise even more incompetent medical examiner .
(Translated) I was hospitalized on August 13, 2021 in the observation service and I was poorly received particularly by a PAB with the first name of Céline, she refused to give me her last name. A very rude, abrupt and directive person who does not know how to talk to patients. She enters the room in the morning without greeting me, I greet her twice without getting an answer, she opens the neon lights without worrying about my presence, as if I was not there. When I left I asked that they lead me to the exit, she asks me why, I answer that I do not have the strength nor the breath to walk all the way and she answered I have my trip and take me back anyway. received very good care from the doctors, PAD team and night nurses, but I cannot say the same for the day team.

(Translated) I had my first childbirth at this hospital a month ago. Before that, I was desperately looking for reviews of hospitals in the area specifically relating to childbirth. So I wanted to share my experience if it can help other women! The support by the nurse throughout the labor was more than perfect, I would have thought I was with a member of my family because she was so kind, caring, giving good advice ... she was just amazing! The doctor who delivered my birth was awesome too! Nurses after childbirth the same, gentle, kind, helpful, smiling ... we had a private room which was great! A small chair-bed is in the room so that dad can also rest. Access to a bath during work, showers are also nearby for the following days. We live in Sorel and went to Charles Lemoyne for the delivery and we will do the same thing again if we have a next child (Original) J’ai vécu mon premier accouchement à cet hôpital il y a un mois.
They have good Advil
Get prepared to wait 5+ hours at the emergency (unless you're dying), but once they take you in, you're in good hands. I was hospitalized for two weeks and was taken care by the most highly qualified specialists.
slow slow
My health must not matter. If you actually need any kind of help, avoid this hospital like it's the plague or Covid-19.
It's the worse. Go somewhere else
(Translated) We were not told anything from triage until observation. They take a patient who is struggling to walk to the toilet and don't check when he comes out.
Terrible customer service. A few months ago I had a big problem with my eyes. They couldn't help me. They sent me to a clinic. Bad customer service. Then I called my doctor to help me, Dr irith lebovitch and she refused to send me to an eye doctor. The Charles le Moyne hospital doesn't care about patients. Very bad customer service. Don't go there!

Wow I am really impressed. I walked in with extreme back pain from sciatica and although there is a long wait they decide to put me on a stretcher in a little room while I wait so I am more comfortable . I've been here many times before and never really received bad service but this time was awesome. Thank you

I came in with the mumps 2hours ago and I have been seen by the triage nurse whom was very kind and professional, the inscription whom took my information and rechecked with me after each bit to make sure it was correct, and I've been to the doctor where they have taken my blood and scheduled me for a scan. All staff is kind and considerate and I feel completely at ease and cared for as a patient here.
Full of ladybugs in the room
Over 8hrs wait time zéro idea what is happening in pain and nobody is seeing me
to slow
Horrible experience. We were waiting for 6 hours to meet with a doctor and left the emergency room after we have been told that we have to wait at least 3 more hours. Worst experience in my life.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!! My 82 yr old mother and I waited 11 hours to see a doctor. Her leg was very swollen and her foot was turning black. Turns out she had a large blood clot, and inflamed kidney and had blood and puss in her urine. They didn't bother to take a culture from the urine to see what the infection was until I insisted they do so. She was there for a week and her leg was now cracked and bleeding and seeping mass amounts of puss, but because she had no fever or pain they discharged her. The Dr. was supposed to call me yesterday with the results of the culture so I can get antibiotics and it turns out the hospital doesn't have her file and he's gone on vacation for two weeks. This is what her leg looked like when she was discharged. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! Click on my name to see photos of her leg.
This hospital should get negative Stars
Worse hospital, avoid it if you can. They say there are two doctors during the night hours, but the line doesn't move at all for 5 hours, there were some movements from 11pm to 12am and after it's just stopped (and I am monitoring not only my number but the whole line). It's my third time here and after each time I tell myself not to come here in the future, but the ambulance doesn't ask what hospital to go, and I am too sick and stressed in the beginning to tell them...
came here 2 time and each time i had to wait 18 hours. first time i came with my dad he broke his neck and he was screaming in the hall ways he was becoming paralyzed and loosing sensation from his hand. i ask tye nurse that he needs help after 2 hours she came and said " he is not gonna die just wait " and left. do not go to this hospital i made a same mistake 2 times. most of the day they dont even have a doctor in emergency.
Worst hospital we left after 11 hours of waiting... and we didn't even see a doctor there was only 1. I am VERY disappointed
1 star is too much for that place. They dont deserve the 1 star. This could be the worst hospital that i visited in my life. Impolite And unprofessional.
(Translated) I gave birth at Charles-Lemoyne Hospital and I can tell you that I want to go back there for my second childbirth. My overall experience there was amazing. The nurses were amazing. During the "peak" of the pain, there is one of them who pushed back her break to stay by my side, hug me to her and stay present. Another came back to me to give my little boy a hug just because she was happy to see the end product of my work :). They were all wonderful. I had Dr. Sophie Carrière for the delivery and her energy was contagious. I have absolutely nothing negative to say to the staff at this hospital. I had a private room, dedicated and caring employees ... They deserve all the gold in the world. Thank you so much. Merci infiniment.
Organized stuff
They had no number system for wait times/order, you have to wait for your name to be called. had to stay in the waiting room for 9 hours without being able to leave for fear of missing my name.
I was reading the comments and I'm amazed at the stupidity of most. Don't go to an hospital emergency room with small illness and expect to wait less than 10 or 12 hours. Had an operation without any trouble very good service compared to a certain confessional hospital in Cote des neiges, where they made me wait in an empty emergency room for 12 hours with a burst apendix ( I could have died).
The worst place I ever been. Waited 16 hours in pain, nobody even tolk to me. They don't speak English. In the end, they say, the system is to blame, end there are 60 more people before me.In the waiting room there are no more than 20,and during this 16 hours, was almost empty. I left in tears. SHAME!!!
The emergency room is a joke, no doctors or nurses around. Had to leave after 5 hours because a doctor was not available.
Waiting 20h for absolutely nothing is fun
I arrived here by ambulance at around 12 noon on le jour de la st.Jean Baptiste it was very busy , I was having extreme pain from the left hip to the knee and after waiting 14 hours to b finally seen by a DR. who looked at the computer and said to me YOUR FULL OF OSTEOARTHRITIS ( I am 77 yrs old) I tried to tell him I knew that this extremely pain was new and that I already was on PRESCRIBED PAIN MEDICATION ,he totally did not listen to me and said I will prescribe you stronger pain medication and left that was it. I left in tears took a Taxi ( I usually get a Transport Adapter)but at 4 am that is not possible. In so much pain that morning went to another hospital in Emergency and within 1 hr.was seen by a woman Doctor I told her all that happened and she immediately sent me to Xray+ Scan and results were FRACTURED SPINE. L2 and L3. can you imagine the pain I was suffering,,,,,,, NEVER want to step into Charle LeMoyne. really its NOT THE HOSPITAL its the Doctors &staff that I blame .

Worst hospital for emergencies ! Nurses rate your level of emergency on a scale from one to five once you arrive, one being the most urgent. They are the worst judges. They gave me a 4 when both my eyes were infected and I could barely see and my situation was getting worse the longer I waited. Basically I waited 16 hours to have the doctor look at my eyes and write me a prescription for antibiotics. Worst place ever, especially the nurses who claim to be professionals but are not and have terrible judgement when it comes to emergency level rating. Would Definitely NOT recommend this hospital to anyone, they don’t even deserve 1 star.
Horrible place, as all health system in Quebec. What is not horrible is my money when they take from me to pay their salaries.
Shittiest staff specially surgery department.
Very bad experience in this hospital. My daughter was hurt in school, the wound is deep and bleed a lot, so we wen to the emergency. The nurse is incredible cold and impatient, she even did not carefully clean my daughter's wound even if we told them she was hurt by a metal stick and we did not know whether it is rusty.. She put a band it on the wound and asked us to come back the next day morning. we found the band-it is not put on the wound part. Incredible service never seen.
very good. doctors are very nice, also they are very busy, everyday work very hard, also ,need to take care of a lot of paticents , not easy, hope to understand them . 万分感谢????????????……thanks doctor loriot (Clinique exerterne )

Horrible birthing experience. Super stressful experience for a super easy birth. Will not repeat for baby 2!
The only reason I gave one star is because without a star you can't write a review. I hated this hospital when my mother died here in 1997 and I hated even more now that my brother is being treated here for cancer. This is the worse hospital ever. There is one in one hundred nurse that shows compassion. It is dirty and finding someone to help is a joke. His sheets haven't been changed in over a week....the floor was covered with water and is so dirty...you ask a nurse for something and you get the feeling you are bothering them.....if I had money I would transfer him to cancer for America in the USA. This is unacceptable and I will take his story and how poorly he is cared for to all the media's available.
One of the worst hospitals I've ever experienced ! Would not recommend! If you want to be treated friendly and in a desent time, go somewhere else. Had an accident about 3 years ago and needed some scans. "Leave your papers with us, we'll call you", they said. Same thing when I called for a follow up. STILL nothing. Finally, after I couldn't move my arms properly, and they got nump and painful, I went to an other hospital, and look at that, within a month, all done. My spine is demaged, could have had it fixed before it got that bad.

Please read. After 12 hours of waiting, I got admitted into an observation room as I had shortness of breath, taquicardia, bloating, and severe fatigue. They did blood tests, X-ray, MRI, ultrasounds, and the cardiologist (Dr Boileau) discharged me next day saying everything was ok, that it may be stress! I kept feeling bad so I got an appointment with my family Doctor. Turns out I have hepatic steatosis and bibasilar atelectasis in my lungs. They saw that in the x-ray at the hospital and I can't believe they didn't tell me anything! Also, my ALP and AST levels (liver), my white blood cell count, and the D-dimers test was really elevated. All these tests were done at the hospital, and because they ruled out a blood clot, they told me to go home without explanation. I wish the Director of that hospital is aware of what happens there. I wish everybody who reads this think twice before going to that hospital which is the mother of negligence. This should be illegal!
Myself , my husband and 2 friends were is a car accident and taken to Hospital Charles-le Moyne by ambulance . We were all treated with kindness and respect despite our language barrier . We quickly were x-rayed for neck and back injuries and left feeling we have received excellent care.
mockery of people, no professionalism and poorly educated staff ????????
BEWARE, this is the equivalent of a kill shelter for animals! They threaten to take people off life support, without any consent from the family. A special place in Hell is saved for the people running this place, and many of the poor excuses for "doctors" working here. Dr. Nguyen, specifically, is quite incompetent and useless, how he ever became a doctor is a mistery.

It is very bad service hospital I seen in my life. I don't suggest this place for anyone.
This hospital is so dirty you might actually get sicker by waiting around. The service was on par with the cleanliness, my little girl nearly died, the overflow of smelly patients caused them to botch her consultation. This hospital should issue a directive asking patient to bather prior to visiting. The place smelled like the Middle Ages in Europe. Stay far far far away. If you can't, bring a mop, some burning sage and a witch doctor. I assure you, you'll get better service from this get up than from Charles Lemoyne.

More than 13 hours to be seen by a doctor in the ER, if you can’t handle public health properly, make it private, I wouldn’t bother having other choices
I was treated there a year ago. They did numerous tests. I met a rheumatologist the very next day after being in the emergency. I had all the tests necessary and then some. I was sent to see the pulmonologist within 2 hours of seeing the rheumatologist, no appointment ! Ever saw two specialists within one day? I was told I needed a biopsy...they called an hour later to schedule me 3 days later. At one point, I was thinking ''Am I the only patient in this hospital?" They were AMAZING and having a bad experience with ONE doctor is not a reflection of what this hospital is all about. No hospital is perfect and I'm sure they've had bad cases like anywhere else. In my case, I was lucky to be treated there and would recommend it in a snap.
I was very angry today at the emergency room in Charles Lemoynes hospital. Most of the staff were excellent, there were wait times but that is expected. I was there because my husband and sister convinced me to go on Monday evening because I was having trouble breathing, that was fine, diagnosed with hyperventilating, apparently you can hyperventilate while sleeping because I woke up that way. But some of my blood work was high so they wanted to do some more tests, I didn't think they were necessary but they wanted it and my husband wanted to be safe. The Dr. wanted to keep me overnight because I couldn't talk, this is due to a brain issue and I didn't feel I would get a good sleep there so we came home, I am on a wait list for brain surgery. So we went back when they called, I did the test and as expected it was okay, so I wanted to go home. But the Dr. who talked to me said that they see patients that exaggerate their symptoms to get surgery faster and that "language doesn't work like that". It was suggested that I go back to the waiting room to wait to see neurologists, the neurologists told me 2 weeks ago that there was no more that they could do. And I was not waiting hours to hear that again. I was there for my breathing, not my brain. So I signed myself out and left. That Dr. was in my opinion basically calling me a liar and that I was making up symptoms. My trust with that hospital is shaky now. The nurses and the technicians have been very good to me, as well as some Dr.'s. I don't know what his name was and I doubt it matters, but I hope that he never talks to a patient that way again. I still can't talk by the way, and if I were to make up symptoms, my voice is the very last thing I would fake. I was a music teacher, involved in choirs that I loved. For now that is gone, I don't know if I will get it back. I would never fake that. I am very upset, hurt, and angry over this experience.

I've been here for 14 hours ????, came in with chess pain, dizziness and very high pressure. Been to triage 4 time's and this morning the nurse told me that they don't treat for high blood pressure here and that I should go see my family doctor..IT'S MY FAMILY DOCTOR THAT SENT ME HERE. I'm still waiting
Very bad, absolutely bad. I don’t like this hospital. Especially ‘la Clinique extrene de pediatrie ‘ whenever I call for taking an appointment. They aren’t not taking my calls after half an hour when they pick up my calls, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and after they says that have no places.and this happens with me several time. This is horrible. I experienced the personals who are taking care of calls, they don’t do their job well, they are always talking with each other and walking around. I saw them, when I was present there.

This hospital has its issues but the personnel is really considerate and devoted. They saved my father's life on two occasions. The nurses and doctors were very professional and caring. He stayed in the cardiology section and in the observation section.
Was coughing up blood but apparently that must be very low priority, after a full day of waiting I decided to go back home :( Shows you just how bad the public system is, go by ambulance or dont go at all
Mama scared and crying when they used to lockdown us and beat the shitout of people at visiting hours.

(Translated) To tell the truth it is a beautiful Hospital in general, the employees are often very friendly and the medical follow-up of the patients is excellent. But all this is especially after going through the triage phase (I would like to specify that the nurses in the triage are competent and they are much more often nice (them) and nice than nonchalant). However, you should know that going to the emergency room here is not the best idea. If unfortunately the triage nurse had to place you in priority 4 or 5, then get ready to wait in the waiting room for several hours. I am not talking here of 4 or 5 hours, but rather from 7 hours to 2 hours approximately. Not to mention that occasionally certain employee (s) can afford to speak to you with what I deem to be disrespectful. My 72 year old father was placed in priority 4 unfortunately, I went to see him in the waiting room of the hospital. He had already been there for almost 7 hours and hadn't eaten anything since. So I wanted to go ask at registration if it was possible to go with my father to eat something without taking the risk of losing our place. (So just a very broad approximate time of the time left). The employee answered me that she did not have this information in a tone rather irrelevant and that it is necessary to go to ask the nurses of the triage (Knowing that in the past in this same hospital I had made this request at the registration desk and that they had been able to answer me) So I asked him the question, telling him that even if the answer was very approximate it will help me make a decision. She answered me in a rather high and dry tone. "As I already told you, it's at the triage that you have to go and ask." The majority of the bad experiences I had at Charle le Moyne hospital were related to the unreasonable waiting time that I was forced to wait for me and my loved ones.
They hung up on me 3 times. I don't understand
If only you can rate this hospital "ZERO" stars,by far the worst if you have someone dying "DO NOT" bring them here!! People that work there have no capacity or compassion!! "RATCHET SERVICE" MAKE YOU WAIT OUTSIDE WON'T LET YOU IN WITH YOUR LOVE ONES!!! IF YOU WANT TO BE WITH YOUR LOVEONE'S IN THEIR FINAL MOMENTS THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! NOBODY DESERVES THAT!!!
Good service received from the staff i recommend this place
Emergency it's not better for sure than in other hospitals. Was there with a horrible eye pain because of an accident, I couldn't literally keep the eye neither open nor close, it was a HORRIBLE pain. And with that pain I was waiting HOURS in the line and another hour and a half in the actual room (((( At the end the doctor was not able to give me the right medication as I returned at least 3 times after that visit and every time was the same story
Probably one of the worst hospitals I have ever come across. Villages in Saudi Arabia have better hospitals and nicer staff than this sorry excuse for a place. We have been there a few times and generally prefer to go to the island even for emergencies. The overall feeling of ickiness permeates the air at this hospital.
Was over at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital this morning ....to visit three persons ....and ended up meeting 8 added persons whom I know. Each had high praise for the staff and services. A first hand account that our Anglophone Community is becoming much more comfortable and feeling welcomed at the CLH.....so a big ???? up...now if they can only do something about that horrible piece of public art on st charles all would be well posted same message on my facebook page Todate I have had over 100 likes and some very positive feedback
arrived in ambulance and 9.5 hours later did not see a doctor. as per staff ambulance is just an expensive yellow cab. so why does the ambulance service take you there in the first place? despicable.in the end walked out at 5:30am they should close this place and turn it into a zoo!
Broke my hand in 5 places and was told to wait 2 weeks to see the surgeon!!!!????????????????
