Worst hospital ever!
(Translated) On Monday October 18th, I waited from 1:50 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with a sprained, swollen and very painful ankle. A nurse was kind enough to relieve me after 4 hours of suffering by bandaging me, giving me a sedative and applying ice. But 4 hours later, the pain was unbearable again and the attendants and a nurse spoke curtly to me without any compassion. We were about twenty people waiting for a long time without any explanation. I preferred to go home, I was not held back, on the contrary, almost thrown out in my wheelchair by a very rude attendant. Having some knowledge, I was able to do my first aid while waiting to see my family doctor today. It's serious anyway!
(Translated) to be avoided at all costs. if you need to be treated don't go to this place. No follow-up was done. I suddenly lost my sight and had to have an emergency brain check. The first time they never called me to give me an appointment date ... and then told me that they had simply lost my file, so they started the procedure over with another ophthalmologist ... once again I had to wait for someone to call me to give me an appointment date ... I see a specialist again to be told that all of my ERM requests are canceled because the ophthalmologist n did not complete the form well ... then the request remains simply canceled without the patient or doctor being aware ... it is an irm test for the urgent brain which had to be done within 3 -4 days ... a month later still no test ... later ... I repeat another test ... the ophthalmologist does not understand why I still have not had an ERM .. ... then he makes a request ... request which will be canceled again by this doctor did not sign the request ... urgently I have to have an ultrasound of the head. I show up at the waiting room .. but they don't call me .. I ask the receptionist why they don't call me ... they tell me to go back home and they will call me back to call me give another date .... which they never did. I had to change hospitals to be treated ... this place is dangerous for you .. do not go there .... if you are forced to go to this place present yourself in person to confirm that the request of the doctor was accepted .. and not canceled ... these people are not trusted .. go anywhere but not to this place .... you have time to die ... passing 6 months later ... I still have no follow-up ... and still no diagnosis ... I have passed several tests without ever having a return from the hospital ... I always my vision problem ... vomiting and acute headache ... still no response from the hospital ... The experience I've had at this hospital is nothing less than stellar. My Mother has been seeing various doctors for all of her serious medical needs here since the beginning of 2019. She was operated on twice and had a long hospital stay of 5 weeks. Her doctors (Dr. Ghali, Dr. Gertin, Dr. Montreuil, the resident doctors) the nurses (Pamela, Karine, Naima, Djian, Sebastien) and the orderlies (Edeline, Myriam and many more!) were very attentive and professional and caring. What more can one ask of in a system that is short-staffed and overworked? I feel very grateful as my Mother does. Nothing is perfect, however, I would highly recommend this hospital. My only grievance is for all the times I've been to the hospital, the parking rates really added up.
(Translated) If you want to risk your life and have a really bad experience .... go for it.
Bad experience... Bad service...
(Translated) The employees are friendly but even if you have a medical appointment they make you wait minimum 2 hours no common sense. They tell you to put your file in X place then other people come to put them on top so those who arrive after you go before you. I wonder if they go by priority appointments. No sense in addition to any parking in the surrounding area and expensive parking inside plus they make you wait for hours.

(Translated) Very disappointed. I have been going to this hospital for years. My 65 year old mother has triple swelling in her knee. Is monitored in a research clinic for lung cancer. We ask questions nicely after waiting 4h30, girl sorting stupid without professionalism. We will go back to common sense in this health system where people are far from being human. If you don't like your job and you're not able to keep a minimum of joie de vivre, please change your job (Original) Très déçu. I just came back after waiting almost 5 hours -didn’t see a doctor was in so much pain and had my newborn at home. I had one kind nurse but tjs other two I saw treated me like filth - they are rude , disrespectful and basically do not Want to help You if you speak English/ no matter how gentle and kind I was they spoke to Me Loud Rude and just disgusting for not Speaking French. The security guard sent me On a goose chase looking for the triage room when he knew exactly where it was because I spoke English. I left bawling in tears, in pain and In sadness. Although I can manage day to day in French certain medical Terms I do not Know and would feel Much better If I can express my pain in English. This is devastating.
(Translated) ZERO stars !!! I rushed in because my 4-year-old daughter was in anaphylactic shock and we were "lucky" that this hospital was close. There was a 2 hour wait for triage. While waiting for triage my daughter began to vomit very intensely in addition to being swollen in the mouth, throat and eyes and having plaques all over her body. it has NEVER been taken care of by ANY staff. When she began to de-swelling we left without ever having seen the shadow of a nursing staff. I'm still terrified of it.

The ophthalmology clininc lacks respect for its patiants letting people waiting for hours and hours! They are for sure understaff in terms of doctors. Appointment at 1:30pm an at 4pm i was call for the triagging! I am not sure what time they the doctor will call me. The issue is that they forget people have other appointments to go, like picking up the kids at the daycare! This was not the first time here! Every time is the same. First time i came i arrived at 10am and i was called at 3pm! It a lack of respect with people.
(Translated) The service was poor. Mix the cases of covid with children who have gastroenteritis in an icy room called the lukewarm zone, forbidden to go out. I’m talking about the gynaecology and obstetricians here, 10/10. Everyone is super nice and professional! I’m talking about the doctors, nurses and even receptionists! I’ve had a great experience with their team and the hospital itself is nice and clean. I would recommend this hospital over others
Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. Came in an ambulance because I had an asthma attack, they had a nurse do a test on me then sent me to the waiting room. Waited to see a doctor for hours. I came in around 9pm left the hospital at 5am without seeing a nurse or a doctor
OK not sure about the Emergancy area but i had the best experience you could wish for. I had Mohs sergery done and reading reviews, on top of being an anglophone, i was ready for a bit of a struggle. I experienced the nicest staff that where very helpful Especially when the heard me struggle in french. So don't listen to the media and complaints about language issues. At least in the section i was it was excellent.

I went back today, around 5.30 pm for a following up, after I got a little intervention to remove a cyst which has been done 3 days before. The health worker who was after me, today, for curing the wound and changing the gaze, was came in and out to the room, couple of times, with the same par of gloves. Unbelievable! If I would've said something about it, as a remark, I probably would got a fightback, and put on hold for hours for complaining and for being a trouble maker. Physicians in particular and health care personnel in general in Canada are so pretentious, affected and arrogants, they probably believe about themselves, they are the Oracle of Delphi of modern times, or at least, part of the staff of the School of Athens.

(Translated) I do not recommend the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in any way. Seeing her friend make herself laugh in the face, say that she makes up stories and that she is a liar by a secretary who did not want to say her name today at 1:19 pm is stupid. All this because they are not able to note in their file the appointments and the operations that people give. I respect the people who work in the hospitals but when they have come to disrespect people, it doesn't work. I have made a complaint already and I will not be embarrassed to make another one if it happens again.

The worst service possible. What I saw there is that even if you're dying, you need to convince them that you're dying. You'll meet there people waiting for 10, 12, 15 hours (!!!), others fainting and still are not taken seriously. It's actually revolting, they are even disrespectful and rude. They will even insult you if you try to communicate in English. They know most of people are starving there and will end up leaving the waiting room, but... they simply don't care.

(Translated) Worst hospital in the region. I had an accident several years ago [a car picked me up on a bicycle] which resulted in head trauma / concussion [I was unconscious for 3 ~ 4 hours]. Well, as soon as I woke up, I was sent home without any long-term medical follow-up [which they would have expected to do according to what my psychiatrist & other medical specialists have told me recently]. My symptoms did not appear until much later without my having the support requested and required. Without support, follow-up or medical support, I continued my life [studies & work] until my symptoms took a huge gain last year which forced me to stop work. I even have a friend whose sick father was operated on and barely finished and still comatose under general anesthesia and in a hospital gown, he was seated in the hallway on the chairs [there or people can wait for taxis and so on.] and then called my friend to pick him up. Cane manure this hospital there. At 4:50 p.m. I had a piece of paper so that when it was drawn up he would call the HRM ENT staff as soon as I arrived. Depending on my condition .. I arrived at HMR at 5:45 p.m. I presented my paper to the triage and the nurse directly contacted the ENT specialists after my evaluation. The nurse was really incredibly kind I must admit. At 9:15 p.m. ... I had done the triage, I was seen by the doctor, I had a consultation with the ENT the next day, I was on intravenous fluid and I had done a radio. I did the night at the hospital and I am seriously dragged to the small care, after 3 days of agony, I really feel revived. Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of my heart.

Blue wing. went there for an emergency detached retina. appointment at 11:50 got there at 10:50 and registered and was all set by 11. waited till 2:30 to see a nurse who put drops in my eye. then waited till 4:30 and was told there was a possible 2-2 1/2 hour wait as by 4 pm they had only seen the 10 am appointments. the only reason I am giving this place two stars is the young woman at reception was efficient and cordial..it was downhill from there. horrible experience, so old and dated and totally incapable of managing their appointments. avoid at all costs. ps. if you are an English only speaker you will have a difficult time here. I speak both so it was not an issue.
I'm here as I'm writting this review. I've been sitting in the ER with a broken ankle for 11 & a half hours now. This shouldn't be the norm at all.

(Translated) Breathing difficulties, pneumonia which gets worse despite the antibiotics, tension of 162/100 while I am 7 months pregnant, I spit bloody mucus ... I am put in last priority, and next to that guys who cough a little and wear like charms with their little pharyngitis pass before me, it makes no sense of squeak! After 7 hours without being taken care of, I ended up going home because if I have to die I like it as much in my bed surrounded by my husband and my daughter as alone on an uncomfortable seat d urgency in the most total indifference. It is the last time that I set foot there because it is the same every time. When we came with our daughter who had 1 month 39.5 of fever, completely lethargic and who refused to drink we had waited 11h they had also put us in last priority ... Frankly it is better to spend the night in the comfort of your home with just as much risk of not surviving the night since anyway you are not taken care of in this emergency. We are left to die in the waiting room. It is better to wait until morning and go see your family doctor who then refers us to the hospital and there, weirdly, we are taken right away ...
Waited at the hospital for several hours due to terrible abdominal pain. I have a medical condition which is has a risk of torsion. Apparently, it was not urgent enough; there was an estimate of 10 hrs to see a doctor even after the wait. Had difficulty at the hospital as everything was in French, could not properly talk about my symptoms and conditions due to communication.

Don't expect too much from the system......if you want speed, go to the USA and pay a fortune, or sit and wait .......it's free!!!
(Translated) I have ten bad experiences at this hospital! -10000 stars would not even be enough. Abdominal pain, I bleed, I cry. The doctor analyzes and weighs me incredibly hard on the abdomen and sticks his fingers into the opening without saying anything. Far from being sweet !!! A story among so many others. Been 3x in a month for the same problem, the doctor confirmed to me that I had a urinary tract infection and put me on antibiotic. I had cramps in my arms all day long, it even woke me up at night. Dizziness, nausea. Finally, I went to the children's pavilion since the incompetent had made it clear to me that he could do nothing for me. Not even 5mins in the office of the other doctor, and hop in hospitalization. I should have sued this doctor. Place to be avoided at all costs if you do not have a specialist. It is absurd to have such a decreasing system. Last thing, more than 3 times they lost my urine samples. And when I asked why I had been waiting for hours for a urinalysis, they would ask me to go sit down. No need to say that I waited tens of hours several times.

I would tell you once. Please avoid going to this hospital I would have serious allegations with this doctors. We hospitalized one of my loved ones because of cancer. We would wait hours for the doctor to come and we would wait days for simple treatments. Our loved one died in front of our eyes and we are marked for life. So please if you want to save the ones you love avoid this hospital. Go to the juif hospital at least.

A massive hospital but well organized. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, even some of them don't speak English well but they still try their best to help. There are many aged people who help you with the directions, locations, and informations. That's great!
I think they are looking for patients with private insurance to treat and rip off the private insurance company of these patients, plus I think they are pumping oxygen or something into the patients waiting area to make you feel better so you would leave and they don’t have to treat you at all. Be very careful when you go to Maisonneuve Rosemount Hospital, your parents can go in with a simple fluid build up and leave in a body bag.

one of the worst hospitals i have ever been to.My small baby had a fever of 38.9℃ we rushed to this hospital at 1.30 am as it was close to where we live. The worst mistake I ever did! First of all the triage nurse was acting as if she doesnt care and we were more embarrassed as she didn't talk to us in English knowing that we dont understand french. She checked my baby's temperature, it was 102.4°F. We were asked to wait in the waiting hall. My baby was getting restless. It was even cold there. We waited for like 3 hrs. After that, i went and asked the nurse to give a small blanket for my baby as he was shivering. She DENIED! NO WE CANT GIVE YOU ANY BLANKET UNLESS HE IS ADMITTED!! was her reply. I wonder how can hospital staff be so heartless. I felt so mad at her, i took my baby back home..and I am never going back to that hospital again!
Multiple times I've had an appointment with a rheumatologist, after they have confirmed on phone. I go there and my name isn't on the list. My rheumy is Dr Zummer, which I wont be going back to see. Rude, interrupts and very pro pills. Can't give a single advice for natural remedies or ways to help reduce inflammations or pain. touched my back for 5 seconds and came up with assumptions that don't match the Xrays. Very confusing I'd say time wasting. he even gave me a new chronic illness but never mentioned it again... neither did my doc... VERY confusing, rude, untrustworthy. If you don't give the answer he expects to hear, he won't listen to you. he'll interrupt, write the papers, and you're out after 10 min.

One of the largest Hospitals in the island of Montreal and possibly Quebec. Worked there shortly as a security guard and saw very well and clearly there level of professionalism and excellence. The staff are knowledgable and friendly and mean this in a civic sense. Do not listen to the negative reviews as these are just low ballers who complain all the time. They have lots of expertise worth considering for medical purposes.

Actually my best ENT experience in Quebec. Doctor Louis Péloquin and all technicians and the reception ladies are at their best doing everything they can to help patients. Very clean department as well. I speak only English and had no issues at all communicating with everyone there. I went there twice once for my ear deep checking for two hours and the nurse was so helpful, polite and professional to make such a difficult and inconvenience test to be so easy and even enjoyable! The second time I went there to check my throat “ Throatoscopy “ of course I was feeling uncomfortable and scared from the Cortisone injection straight in my neck but again it was easier than expected and done very fast by a very young and professional doctor who was introduced by doctor Louis to do the test before doctor Louis gave me the good result with charming smile and funny way just as usual :) Thanks Doctor Louis for being so professional and helpful every time we need your help.

We waited 7 hrs with our 2 year old who needed stitches. 7 HRS and then another hour in the doctors office before a dr came to see us. According to them every other person that was there before AND AFTER us had priority over a 2 yr old. On top of it all I'm pregnant and I was in pain. Most of the staff showed that they didn't care and that made me really angry. DO NOT go to this hospital!!!
Worst hospital emergency I have ever been and I travelled a lot around the world in hospitals!! Arrived with my sick child of 3,5 years old with bleeding eye , swollen tonsils 39C fever and ear infection and waited to be seen from 5.30pm and left at 3am as my daughter was getting worse without any estimate or hope that we will ever be seeing by a doctor . There was apparently only one doctor on duty with tons of ambulances coming in! Why not call for extra doctor to come?the receptionist didn’t care at all or tried to be helpful even when I asked if she knows another hospital I could take my daughter to. UNACCEPTABLE in this big city of Montreal in 2019!!! I felt like I was in some 3rd world country in the jungle. Disgraceful! And I pay so much tax for this . Shame on you hospital health care ! Shame on you. I am writing this as my husband is driving around to find another hospital at 3am Thursday morning ! 10 hours waiting for nothing

(Translated) We waited for 2 nights without any result the person we accompanied definitely needed surgery by a doctor. Despite all no results and the staff keep telling us that its will not be long except that the staff had said during the 5th hour spent in this mediocre hospital. Finally switching to a private clinic was the best thing we thought of in this poor environment. They tell us to wait and at the end tell us it was not an emergency. I made this comment throughout my two nights and ultimately no serious concerns. HAVE THE PHYSICIANS I TELL YOU THAT COMMUNICATION EXISTS AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR PATIENTS !!!!!!
(Translated) Do not go to the emergency room unless you are about to die, even if 811 is sending you. Better to wait in the comfort of your own home than in the cold, ugly waiting room with no wifi. I still want to recognize the work of the staff who worked overtime to serve us. The pandemic really affected the already fragile system. Good luck to you! Hands down the best hospital in Montreal. Drs Latulippe, Letendre, and Picard are absolutely awesome in their care. I must also mention that the nurses are also outstanding. The staff of this hospital are kind and forthcoming in whatever questions you ask, professional, and knowledgeable. Contrary to other hospitals the specialists call you to make appointments. No chasing them down for care. Excellent service.
(Translated) My wife was at another hospital for blood loss during pregnancy she was hospitalized for ca. And she continued to have a big loss at 29 weeks. If I can give this place 0 stars I would. My 1 year old daughter had a seizure and 911 automatically brought her to Maisonneuve because it was the closest available hospital. Once we were dropped off I was automatically put into COVID section, about 2 mins after being in a general waiting room a nurse told me to follow them to a room. I had my daughters diaper bag, my bag and her car seat and her in my arms. It was the biggest hassle asking that nurse to help me carry the car seat to the room. Once put into this room, I was left there for 4 hours without anyone coming to see me. Mind you, my daughter just turned 1 years old, had a seizure for the first time ever and we were brought there by ambulance because there was a doctor on call. After over 3hrs of waiting, I tried looking for someone to speak to and when I did i was told so rudely to ONLY speak in French. When I asked how long the wait would be due to the circumstance's they told me their are wayyy more important people before my daughter. That's an amazing way to support a first time mom of a baby that just had a seizure. When exampling to them we were brought here by 911 - they told me YOU can go find the nurse and maybe be bumped up... as if I didn't have a baby in my arms and a room waiting with all our things. After 4 hours, no one helped out. No one came to see us. The place was dirty and it honestly looked like a prison... stay away! Go anywhere else.
(Translated) good service and attentive staff despite the many patients and it is clean and the new parts are well appointed (Original) bon service et personnel attentionné malgré les nombreux patients et c est propre et les nouvelles parties sont bien aménagés
Horrible service. I tried to make an appointment for blood test and first waited for 50mins and no one picked up. At the second or third try a woman picked up the phone and made a bad attitude to people who don't speak French when I explained what was the exam/test about. She asked me to say it when I already told her I can't speak French, and she transferred my phone to someone else without a "sorry" when I told her I could spell the words if that helps. I don't think people who can't speak decent English and French should even pick up the phone call in this kind of places. If she has problem with her life deal with it, don't act like not knowing French is something unforgivable, especially when it's a country having both English and French as first language! --- Of course I still didn't get to make my appointment on schedule. Really, can't believe it.
(Translated) I am satisfied with the service again because the emergencies received me well? And in the intensive care too, I have no words to say thank you to the whole team of the center, I am leaving the hospital because my baby was fine I am not the name of all but of in my memory their face and gesture. ???? ????

I delivered my first child here. Great staff, very friendly, helpful, patient, and knowledgable. 25% of the staff I dealt with don't speak English, FYI.
I had to almost die in the waiting room before anyone would help me. Thankfully a passing paramedic had enough sense to rescue me. I'm not sure what's wrong with the staff here, but they are not happy. The nurse at the triage was the worst. She brushed me off as if nothing was wrong with me.

(Translated) Thursday, September 15, we went to see my brother-in-law who is hospitalizing on the sixth. We have seen several hospitals, but Maisonneuve Rosemont is where the employees did not impress me! We do not know if they were attendants or nurses! But it was EXTREMELY loud in the hallway. One was looking for a Michel (according to us an employee) she said well no I do not believe or believe Michel is not gone he is still there. She had to do this for a good 3-4min but she was loud, very loud! Two others argued to say: no it is not me who will give care to such patient, it is you and always so loud! Another was going back in the hallway telling her colleagues (always to be sure that all "users" hear) she was talking about her online purchase, which she had to PAY BY INTERNET! And when the delivery man arrived, ben the delivery man wanted his tip! I have never seen a hospital where employees are REALLY PROFESSIONALISM! I hope I never have to be hospitable at this hospital.

If I could give zero stars I would. We arrived at around 11pm with an ambulance. Passed triage and here we are 12 hours later without a doctor. In the meantime, a man that clearly had cardiac issues waited for ten hours before passing away of a heart attack right in front of us. Add to that the extremely stressed out, over worked and rude staff, you have the perfect example of why our healthcare system is garbage. Also want to add that after 17 hours, a doctor told my wife that her dizziness and nausea was just anxiety. My wife insisted to get scanned and an hour later the apologetic doctor came back to tell us it was a brain stroke and said we were right to insist. After 6 hours they sent her home with aspirin. The very next day, she had a second stroke. They kept her under observation for 48 hours and let her go with no advice as to what to expect in terms of therapy and stress management due to shock. They told us that they will call us back for a follow up in one month. One month later I called to be told that her follow up will be in 4 months. We insisted for the follow-up immediately in order to get the Ok to fly her back home to Italy where she immediately got all the care and advice she needed.

Patient requires a translator at all times to understand the care that is being provided and to give proper consent to care. The translator went home for the day and came back the next but was refused at the door. He's not a visitor. He's a translator. A basic right to consent violated because they do not allow "visitors" during COVID.
I was treated for Acute Myeloid Leukemia at this hospital (AML). They had an experimental program (haploidentical transplant) that allowed me to receive stem cells from my 70 year old mother. I had no other donner available to me including my brother. The transplant was successful as I am writing this note 6 years post transplant. All the staff was exceedingly professional, attentive and knowledgeable about their functions. The hospital is clean, they respect their standards and are forthcoming with their procedures. A stark contrast with the Jewish General as I spent time there as well. Dr. Denis Claude Roy was my phyisican and the director of research. He was with me every step of the way and expedited my every need, test and examination. This hospital is world class.

First of all i respect everyone who works in healthcare and for all the hard work they do. Went there for surgery. Took all my info, changed into gown, stuck a needle in me, and waited for hours to have surgery get cancelled last minute. When i hit the emergency button to get a nurses attention it took 15 min got a response. Imagine if it was a real emergency. Unfortunately my doctor only works from there so have no choice but to deal with these ppl again.
Terrible hospital, avoid at all costs.
The worst experience in the emergency room. The receptionist was so rude when found out we can't speak French. You go to McDonald and they are bilingual. But in a hospital they refuse to speak in English. It is same with the nurses. Their behavior is indecorous!

Nice staff but no english spoken at all. Services and instructions all in french, to the point we missed an appointment, could not understand instructions of when, what time, and ended taking a medication by mistake. Too bad and too sad. (Translated) I waited 23 hours with an open fracture before seeing a doctor this winter. My daughter had an appointment at 8ham for his frature of the arm, at 14h the doctor swayed my daughter, and it is necessary to repeat the operation. My 5 year old daughter has not eaten since 6ham. It is fantastic to have access to a hospital service and a service charge covered by our government, but the organization resembles an old raft with no sail in the middle of the Pacific. (Translated) Good (Original) Bien
I had an absolutely horrible experience here. Blue section, orthopedics. I don't really know French and they were truly horrible about it. An intake clerk who spoke English fine enough made me wait an hour for someone English to come speak to me. In that time, he was speaking English on the phone with someone. I told him I'd be happy to speak with him and that his English is fine for me to understand him but he refused. The other issue was the appointment bookings. First time, the doctor cancelled that morning and no one called me - I my appointment was for 3pm that day so there had been ample time to call. They didn't bat an eyelash. Didn't care at all. No apologies. Nothing. It took two hours to get another appointment (see above), and then I called the day before that new appointment two weeks later just to confirm. They cancelled it again with no intention of calling me. Unbelievable.
After waiting for hours in the waiting room, I had to wait again for an hour in the consultation room. She left after 3mins telling me she will give me tylenol for constant repeating headaches.
(Translated) Pleasantly surprised at the welcome and eagerness of the staff to help me having difficulty walking. The technician (Mr. Blier) who gave me the first part of the exam was really nice and afterwards, Dr. Khairallah, neurologist, followed me after the tests. A warm, professional and emphatic doctor who took the time to listen to me. A big thank you to all of you.
(Translated) I prefer this hospital than the one in front each time I went there I was well taken care of it is sure that if we go there at the end of the evening we must expect to wait a long time because as in any hospital it falls has a doctor for the hospital so yes we will wait for hours and hours except that at least the nurses are kind even when they are overflowing and for the reassessment its quick we can whine as we want but their job is not easy and in lack of staff thank you for all the good service received (Original) je préfère cette hopital que celle de legardeur chaque fois j'y suis aller j'ai bien été prise en charge il est sur que si on y va en fin de soirée il faut s'attendre a attendre longtemps car comme dans toute hôpital il tombe a un médecin pour l'hôpital alors ouiiii on va attendre des heures et des heures sauf que au moins les infirmières sont gentille même quand déborder et pour les réévaluation son rapide nous pouvons chialer comme on veut mais leur job n'ai pas facile et en manque d'effectif je vous remercie pour tous les bon service reçu
(Translated) 10 hours of waiting overnight. Had to come back for testing the next day waiting to see the doc for my results and after that wait hours to see a specialist. (Translated) Can we tell the emergency warden on the evening of Dec 20, 2018 that he was really nice?
Terrible organization, no functional bathroom. Nobody can give you a time frame at the emergency section for the wait. Doc is calling one name every 2 hours. Many many left since it's do long, been here 14 hours so far and still didn't get call the guy next to me has been here 20 hours and the woman next to him 16 hours! What a terrible hospital. If your dying, gamble and go elsewhere it's a sure bet.
Imagine this, 9 month old baby crying none stop for not being able to pee from 5pm till next morning. Sitting here at the emergency and no one seemed to care. When questioned, there is only one DR. Seriously one Dr.? Why so many nurses sitting and chatting with cold booded hearts and 1 Dr.? This is where my tax money is going? Quebec is a tax vacuum sucker. Ive spoken to elderly people who have been sitting there for 16hrs. Really? Shame on you. I am left speechless. Even I'm paying for it and you call it free health care well i dont want it. Give me my money back.
Addendum a year later: Something bad seems to have happened at the emergency department, I don't know what. Maybe the effect of the pandemic. Only go there if you have no other choice. Anyway the quality of care has plummeted. Last year: There are some very negative comments here but I have to say I had exemplary care at this hospital recently. It was a long wait in emerg, that's for sure, but once you're with a doctor and then on your floor it's great. Doctors and all staff were thorough and empathic, the semi private room was decent, they made efforts to cater to my vegetarianism. The whole experience was responsive and surprisingly humane. If you can't speak a word of French this may not be the place for you.
(Translated) It is the worst hospital I have ever seen in my life. My wife is pregnant and been there since 11:30 AM, she spent 12 hours of time in the ER without any doctor visit. And Now arrived the next day which will be 24 hours in the hospital, still no visit from a doctor, despite her suffering from a strong pain in her stomach. So if my wife was going to lose the baby, it would happen and also might even die. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????
(Translated) The triage nurse provides a service that leaves much to be desired. Lack of compassion, rude, impatient and arrogant are quite the words that come to mind to describe it. A slim woman with dark hair and small lips with red lipstick. If you come across it, I wish you luck. Otherwise, the rest were poor to excellent in quality of service. Honestly, my first visit to the hospital left me with a bitter taste ... only time will tell if it is the hospital that offers poor service or the Quebec health system in general.
(Translated) I am fully in the service of the hospital. As for the wait, we should think of going elsewhere than the emergency for small sores. To think about: No problem waiting for endless hours for boxing day, sleeping outside to get show tickets, ... $$$ !!! dong dong.

This place suffers all the issues of the health system in Quebec. The list of ridiculous actions, behaviours, wait times, and protocols remind one of a third world nation. Imagine being prescribed a CT scan but you have to wait 6-8 hrs for it to be read because they don't have radiologists available? How is that possible? We'll, it happened to me. When confronted with the problem, it's always the "excuse du jour"...Pitiful!

(Translated) A disgusting hospital, poor in care. Doctors just as incompetent of each other. Inhumane nurses, who do not care about the general condition of the patient. Medical errors, infernal blood tests (due to lack of skills), noise on the floors (from midnight to 6am) leaving no one to sleep, laughs and high voice between colleagues. Prescription anti-pain (derived from morphine) to calm patients who require medical help. Nice way to stop hearing them! "Do we take it?" Wow, I do not even have the words. Do not even know your name. They sigh when we call them. If only they were competent. BUT they are void. Scientifically and humanly speaking. Here, they kill patients on low heat.

Finally the nurses of the 4th floor sandrine manon ginette and monique to the maintenance. A big thank you for your humanity and your understanding. On the other hand the other nurses that I had will have to go back because it was not worth much especially the last of the evening which was preparing to inject me a thing and when I asked him it was what she answered me "nothing "I told her" you're going to inject me and you say it's nothing ... well done, "she realized how she had to go and explain to me what it was. Very bad service and slow
(Translated) This hospital has a major problem. (Listening and leadership) - some doctors do not listen to anything, when we explain our problem and symptoms. They already have an idea without even listening. - In the emergency room, there is sometimes a pre-sorting done by a nurse. No listening. Example: Pain of 10/10 since 12h. I was already in the emergency room yesterday for the same problem. They had to give a very high dose of Dilodine. He (she) simply noted, foot pain. It took an hour to re-train and re-explain the problem. In the meantime my pain was very strong 10/10. - There is a flagrant lack of leadership. For files that require interaction between various services, no one will follow the requests and needs, in order to move the file forward to find a solution. The doctor of the specialty x, just said, for me everything is good, but after no directive, or track to guide the file to a solution. The patient's file will only be treated point by point and not in an overall view. - An obvious overload of effects. But it is also important to mention that there are also some great nurses and doctors (it's even the vast majority), who listen and do their best to relieve the patients, but unfortunately the negative points mentioned above. strongly impacts the whole work. MAJ: a year later I'm still in the same situation. I come to the emergency room for pain, I am taken 4 hours after minimum. I stay one night and despite the pains that are still there they give me leave and I have to do the same thing again 1 week later. If I can afford and I will allow myself after 3 years of this treatment you are really fat dummies. Pitiful service and we make fun of some developing countries ah ah ah.

Dumbest hospital ever go they're on Wednesday at the ER with my right hand and wrist swollen to a whole different level nurse doesn't even bother to look touch it or ask me any specific questions at all,it tells me to come back Thursday at 9:40AM at their clinic. I go there on Thursday they've lost electricity which I don't blame them they tell me to give them my cell number and say they will call me I waited till 2 pm nothing I go back there,Their electricity is back and the secretary is sitting there doing nothing saying there no place for today anymore yet the waiting room was empty didn't even bother calling me to let me know and tells me only place she has is Monday I just said forget it! I ended up going to St Mary hospital I have broken wrist and thumb bone and needed a cast but according to rosemont fine nurse Ice and Tylenol would of worked complete morons!

(Translated) Horible !!! Emergency services 9:30 am date for 2 benadryl and a cortisone cream the major problem is still not resolved (dizziness and blurred vision) but the symptoms are not related to the wasp sting that the doctor says ! So we will have to go back to the hospital (surely not the HMR) tomorrow so as not to find my sister unconscious because of the mediocrity of the service provided by a staff who does not listen to the patients and who tries to do everything so that the patients leave before seeing the doctor !!! (Original) Horible!!!

Do not blame the government only. When you do not know how to take a blood test, when you're going to see a patient, that's not what you're doing for this job. I'm crazy about your professional situation or whatever, you signed to be a nurse, there is no reason. Medicine is not what it was. Worst hospital, Ark.

0 stars wasn't an option. Within 1 hour, I couldn't reach anyone within the ER with regards to a patient transfer.
(Translated) Very poor service received this evening for my 3 month old baby who has a nasty cough and all congestion with a fever of 39.7deg, the first sorting closet sends us to the registration without even checking the state of the baby. It is after 3 hours of waiting in the room, he calls us for a 2nd triage and he realizes that it is a priority but the doctor took 1h30 before he examines him and who decides to have him hospitalized. It’s the last time in this place.
In ER I did blood test and waiting for 2.5 hours for the result. No one can imagine what happened, the nurse told me that something was wrong and they lost my blood! I have to take another blood test and wait again. It is 2:59 am. I came in at 15:15 yesterday, until now I only did 2 urine tests and 2 blood tests. I don’t when I can see the doctor with my tests results.
Wasted 9 hours and a half of my life because the hospital doesn't have the balls to tell you they don't have enough doctors. They'd rather keep quiet and make you waste a whole day. Had to go cuz I need to eat and sleep too, you know? Never saw a doctor. From 11h30 to 21h00. The nurse told me I was ranked "somewhat urgent" and it shouldn't take too much time. I did the math during my wait. There was only 1 doctor, yet 4 nurses for triage. What's the point? Unless you are about to die yourself, you won't see a doctor, because everyone in a wheelchair, every old person, every woman with a kid, everyone in a stretcher will pass before you, even the one with a police officer following because he's the one that started a criminal fight. And even all those above I saw waiting for 6 hours + during my stay. Takes between 20 - 40 minutes for the doctor to meet a person, and there's always at least 1 guy of the list above that enters the room every 30 minutes. Welcome to Quebec healthcare, folk. We've been having a shortage of doctors since 15 years prior and the government still applies the "strategy" of pretending everything's still ok. Why can't I just buy common antibiotics over the counter? Do we all need to be treated like babies? Why can cows, porks and chickens get antibiotics more easily than us humans? Tired of being treated like a dumb kid.
An excellent hospital ... I gave birth to both my babies there and the staff was excellent ... had to got to emergency for my 3 yr old who had a hard time breathing and within minutes he was taken charge of ... very efficient. The pediatric ward is pretty amazing, taking the time to talk to the parents and explaining everything. My whole family is being followed at the hospital. My husband who have a blood disorder has been taken charge of and is being followed and my dad with colon cancer is being followed with a battery of test etc. To the ones who complain about the the long wait at the ER all I can tell you is that you don’t see what goes on behind the emergency room .. they get many ambulances that show up with more urgent patients that need a while team of ppl to help save the patient.
(Translated) For me it is very far, parking costs a fortune if I had a doctor in Longueuil what happiness! There I am not treated but I have a small follow minimum, minimum when I arrive there needless to say my pressure is more often 200 past and therefore too far. So you understand the urgency to find a very good general practitioner in Longueuil is rare as the sea "" of Pope. problems not treated for 2 years it's serious not being able to get treatment !!!! ????I made a discovery while talking with my pharmacist and c is probably an esophagitis which makes me suffer this hard for a very long time I can not see a doctor and even less appointments I do not have a doctor I'm on the list for only 3 years ago an urgent need to find a doctor in Longueuil (Original) Pour moi c'est très loin ,le stationnement coûte une fortune si j'avais un médecin à Longueuil quel bonnheur ! Terrible hospital. I only came here because it’s the closest from my place. I personally think they need to improve the way they proceed with different cases. They take too much time for a simple consultation. The approximate time you wait for a consultation is between 1h to 7h. I’ve waited over 4h without any help and direction of an amount of time I would be still waiting. I came because of my wrist, extreme fatigue, my back that was hurting me and the fact that I was vomiting a lot after getting hit by a car door. They did not take me seriously and put me in P4. I’ve stand in the waiting room with a headache, extreme fatigue and for 4h now and still didn’t see a nurse.
(Translated) I have had multiple surgeries at this hospital and they are super knowledgeable, patient doctors making sure I get it right. This is the best place to get eye care. The worst hospital in Montreal. Secretary for Rheumatology absolutely horrible. Has no idea how to treat people.
(Translated) I have never seen a place like this, we spent 2 days 1 night in the hospital urgently .... the nurse and attendant have foul language. My husband just got hospitalized for appendicitis at HMR. I don’t have enough words to say how empathic, sweet, knowledgeable, nice, patient and accommodating all the staff was, from nurses to surgeons. Knowing how hard these people work and how long their hours are, I would give 10 stars on 5 if I could. Many thanks to the HMR team.
The nurse was completely cold and unsympathetic, she was not willing to attend to me because I spoke only English, and she told me in English that she does not speak English only French, she understood me and responded to me yet she says she could not speak english,my son who had a temperature over 103 was sent back out to wait for another nurse
Verry slow wait time too long

(Translated) Zero stars. Run away from this hospital. No Awareness of the cause of patients and their families. After a long period of reflection during still unfinished mourning, I finally have the courage to write down what I felt during the last moments of my late mother's life. During my mother's hospitalization from January 20 to 30, 2018 and to this day, long periods of questioning have passed through my mind without an answer as to the exact causes of my mother's hospitalization and death, because I did not have the explanations that I considered legitimate. Yet my husband and I were present every day for several hours throughout the hospitalization until the death of the patient in question. Healthcare professionals have taken blood several times and still have no response. The cause of her hospitalization was never mentioned and yet the day after her death, suddenly, a doctor briefly gave me a cause of my mother's death. On the day of her death, the nursing staff never contacted me to advise me to arrive earlier, as my mother's condition worsened. It is when I arrive at the hospital that I realize what is happening. When I ask questions, I am ignored. Moved I start to cry and no empathy from the nurse. The day after my mother passed away, I met the cardiologist who had no empathy and presented himself without my consent with a team of interns at a time when I needed intimacy to try to understand this. unexpected death. Some employees (nurses, orderlies, doctors, etc.) care about their profession and others do not. Certain qualities are essential in the field of health and yet on January 30, 2018 at the coronary heart unit, I have no empathy, sensitivity, understanding, supervision ... I felt vulnerable and helpless ... I am disappointed with the Quebec health system, with the attitude and behavior of certain health professionals (Original) Zéro étoile.

(Translated) Hospitalization: lack of follow-up, turnover among doctors in charge of the case with ultimately inconsistencies between what you are told and what is done. Normal, they only read the last notes in the otherwise incomplete file, which you realize when talking to them since they lack important elements. Professionals who work "in silos", without overall assessment. We had a false diagnosis of stage 4 cancer with orientation in palliative care: never had an apology from the resident who made the diagnostic error or from his supervisor, I also deduce that the other doctors preferred to "look elsewhere" rather than to handle the situation. On weekends, the nursing staff lack professionalism, listening skills and vocabulary. They look quite helpless.

Probably the worst experience of my life at the emergency room. First of all, the conditions are terrible. The nurses/staff members are super unkind and rude. They REFUSE to speak ENGLISH and the wait time is ridiculously long (over 12hours). I honestly feel bad for anyone currently hospitalized there. I sincerely feel for you all and hope you get out of there ASAP. Please do yourself a favour, if you need to go the emergencies GO TO THE GLENN or if you're privileged enough consider going to a private clinic.
(Translated) I go to Maisonneuve-Rosemont with a CD containing the x-rays of the fracture of my foot (which were done in an outpatient clinic.). The doctor had referred me to the emergency department of Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital, which is 2 minutes from my home. I go there hoping to have an appointment with an orthopedist the next day instead of clogging the emergency for a non-urgent case !! I am told that I must wait in the emergency anyway ... The next day, I decided instead to go directly to the orthopedic department of the hospital (which should have been advised instead of going to the emergency !!). What a lack of communication and judgment between the departments of the hospital. All this to say that the secretary of the orthopedic department took my cd containing the x-rays and informed me that the doctor was going to look at this and that she was going to call me to make an appointment (probably the next day) . The next day, no call and no way to reach them other than by email (which in my case remained unanswered ...). I am very frustrated because I pay my taxes, I go to the doctor about once every 5 years but when I need basic treatment, no service for at least 3 days !! I can't wait to see more !!

My wife gave birth to our son at HMR. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable, polite, humane. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all couples.
Consistently 1 to 3 hours wait on appointments (ophthalmology). Unfortunately some rude staff members too. It baffles me how they can be so consistently late all the time on appointments.

(Translated) The horror. After my left wrist was half cut in 2008, I had an excellent operation at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Seven years later, Dr. Jenny Lin of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Plastic Surgery Department convinced me against all negative prognosis, to do a major 8-hour operation to try to restore my sensitivity. His operation was a bitter failure: not only did my hand not regain its sensitivity at all, but its operation left me severely handicapped for the rest of my life on three different levels. This hospital seems to be led by sorcerer-apprentices who are ready to handicap you for life for the sole pleasure of operating to operate. (Original) L'horreur.

(Translated) I was this morning with my sick little girl, very quick reception, as well as triage, the professional nurse did a nasal cleansing to my little tylenol, 40 minutes later, we saw the doctor very nice, prescription and return at home 1h30 after our arrival. (Translated) Very long wait. Staff not very welcoming. (Original) Tres longue attente. Personnel pas très accueillant.
(Translated) It's worth paying $ 20 for a consultation trust me. The urgency is not worth the detour and it leaves something to be desired. The nurses at the yards are cruelly lacking empathy - beast - never smiling, even if it would be 18h that it is there, this job should be entrusted to women who have heart. Then the HMR emergency physician is mistaken for diagnosis, you are just a number and the next one. I prefer to pay for a consultation or to take another 30 min drive even in pain to go to another hospital rather than go there. So that means everything ..
(Translated) Unbelievable ! March 20 3:00 am ... 7 patients in the waiting room and now 5 hours that NO patients in the waiting room have been received! Really the best way to discourage patients !!! Probably one of the worst hospital in Montreal went there a few times and everytime I was either for to wait for hours even though there was little patients waiting at the ER or sent back home cause they had to many people. The staff doesn't care about helping you and the service given is horrible they are so rude and unorganised.

I went to the emergency unit of this hospital and it was the most horrible experience. Not only were the workers/nurses extremely rude, but also after waiting 4+ hours in the doctors room to be examined, no doctor ever came. Extremely disappointed with this hospital and would NOT recommend anyone go to it, especially if it's an emergency.
(Translated) Very good experience, prompt, professional and courteous treatment, by both doctors and hospital staff.

we waited for 2 hours for an appointment, and he never arrived at the hospital. I had to wait for for 2 months for the appointment. No respect for patients. The medical staff also seemed to have no idea what was going on
long time to wait. 3 days to get all things done. People never get sick in Montreal.
I have Dr appointment .at 1 .. 3 hr later ...don't want to do an scan ,they said next visit ... wondering for 15 min Dr how much they are charging for doing exactly nothing ????

(Translated) Nephrology and oncology are well represented in this hospital. Attention to detail and listening give the patient the assurance of quality treatment. Don't EVER go there if you are suicidal. DON'T GO THERE. If you finally meet a doctor, they'll send you home and they'll tell you to take a walk. Seriously, I'm curious to see how many people have killed themselves after going to this hospital for a suicidal crisis. Their head psychiatrist is also very judgmental and unprofessional, making judgments about your appeareance. He just wants to give you pills and don't really want you to talk, he seems sooooo annoyed if you don't really know the exact reason for you depression. This is the worst place to go if you're in a crisis.
(Translated) 9ham emergency department very very fast for an extreme sore throat and fever. Quick to sort and quick to consult. By cons very poor communication between secretaries, nurses and doctor.
(Translated) I would have noted 2.5 say. I was followed labas during all my pregnancy. Medical secretary often very audacious! For childbirth ... Exceptional, I loved the service but afterwards ... in the room of rest ... Nurse often very incompetent, not compassionate! Extremely difficult to live. My partner and I hated the service! I find it a shame. The most beautiful moment of our lives is turned into a very frustrating moment to live! We feel judged and poorly surrounded! I have seen exceptions but seriously ... Should see the human side of the nursing profession ... For that anyway! I do not think I will go back there one day, and it is extremely disappointing because I had a great time with the doctors and the midwife during the birth. The whole problem is really after ... Disgrace how we get treated! (Original) J'aurais noter 2.5 disons. Extrèmement difficile a vivre.

(Translated) I did my medical examination there for my Permanent Residence. Besides the long wait and the speed at which one is shipped, I had two big issues with them: 1. The nurse completely missed my blood test, I had a hematoma all over my arm for 2 weeks 2. They got my passport number wrong (they left my old passport number when I presented my new one). Result the immigration asks me for explanations on the difference between the numbers just because the person who fills out the documents to assume that it was the same passport. Result: Non-serious clinic, take your tests elsewhere if possible (Original) J'y ai fait ma visite médicale pour ma Résidence Permanente.
Good service. Don’t know why there are some comments from anglos saying that you won’t be served in English, try going Ontario or any anglo province in Canada and try to be served in French to see if you will find anybody in this “bilingual” country who can served you in french in a hospital out of Quebec. Good service overall.
Service horrible

I’ve been here for more than 15 hours waiting for a diagnosis. I came yesterday afternoon with a terrible lower back pain, I cannot walk but this is not an emergency. I am not dying, it’s true, but it’s not human at all let people waiting so long. Staff is very polite and friendly but they cannot do more than it’s permitted. Go to another hospital if you have an emergency.

Sorry abt my grammar first. I just wanna give them five star cause i had a labor in December, 202. The dr and nurses are so super friendly and helpful, they come right away when i need it and super professional. I don’t understand why people give them 1 star but for me i could give them 6 start if i can. Thank you so much for the best and first labor in my life. ????
(Translated) No! My mother has been waiting in the emergency room for over 11 hours and she still hasn't seen a doctor. She is very weak and severely dehydrated, but nothing ... Finally, she saw the doctor after spending more than 12 hours in the emergency room. Without having even questioned her, he told her that she should not have gone to the emergency room ... What other options did she have? die at home? Calling on a rebrancher? Finally, after examining her, he placed her in solitary confinement, as it might be contagious. I hope it is not, because otherwise it may have contaminated the people who were in the waiting room during the 12 hours she spent there! I have no idea the name of the doctor who saw her, because he didn't bother to introduce himself ... The new emergency building has just been opened (since the day before, May 24, 2017): I don't know what it looks like if there isn't better service. Maybe the employees are more comfortable? I have known the emergency department of Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital for over 40 years, because my mother worked at HMR from 1977 to 2012. The emergency has always been overwhelmed ... Two members of my family died at this hospital and yesterday I thought it could also happen to my mother ... In the future, I will do my best to never set foot in this emergency of hell ! In the brand new emergency room, it is already planned that there will be patients in the corridor, since brand new stretchers are installed there: great comfort for the patients who must stay under the neon lights! It took more than 3 years for the emergency building to be renovated at a price of more than $ 100 million, but the "temporary" entrance, completely worn, is still in use, the toilets in the waiting room were not working (after a day of operation), the seats are still as uncomfortable and the employees as indifferent. A true corporate culture that does not change despite the passing decades ... I would like to believe that in the future, employees receive training to be more attentive to the sick and less indifferent: my mother was on the verge of fainting and anyone who saw her could see that it was not going to be well ... There is nobody from the staff who came to look in the waiting room to try to assess if there were people who needed help: fifteen years ago, one patient died in the HMR waiting room because no one had looked after her. HMR really does not learn lessons from the past and since the methods do not change, it would not surprise me that it happens again. Whoever does not learn lessons from history is condemned to repeat it. And HERE, it applies very well, unfortunately. Lonely people waiting in the emergency room are really to be pitied, because even when they try to get service by talking to an employee, we don't answer them ... The worst case I saw yesterday is a lady in a wheelchair who spoke to the security guard and a maintenance employee to ask them if someone could change his diaper and who was once told "it's not me, I don't know not who can help you "(the employee left) and another time was answered" you would have to go see the nurse "(when she could not move) and then was done say "it's a beneficiary attendant who does that" ... At no time did someone come to see her. Advice: if you are forced to go to this emergency do not go alone and / or prepare to make a big show of screams and tears, because the patients are seen quickly if they “freak out”. My mother was too weak to put on a show, however it would have been useful! 24 hours after entering the emergency room, my mother is now in an isolated room. She would have preferred that young person not speak about her experience, but I am too indignant to be silent ... (Original) Nul!
(Translated) I gave birth to my first child at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in February 2019. I was surprised at the kindness of the nurses and the professionals on site. However, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of support for breastfeeding. It is too easy to supplement the baby, with the bottle, with artificial milk. This is the best way to botch a desired exclusive breastfeeding.

At one point, I felt the symptoms that my blood sugar was low and indeed, after taking my rate, it was low. I do not know how many times (too much in my opinion) I rang the bell to bring me an orange juice and was told that someone is coming! After a dozen times, nobody came and I had to go to the post of nurse to ask for a juice. As I said, this is not the first time I have been hospitalized at this hospital, I did not really have the choice because my endocrinologist was following me at this hospital so I can tell you stories of horror. And what about the blood tests? When we leave work rather to arrive at the sampling center at 16:05, to be closed the curtain in the face at 16:45, because the 3 nurses on duty spend 10 minutes to answer a single patient instead of continuing to call them numbers of people waiting, doing the blood tests and the other that could answer the lady, when we are supposed to give a service until 17h! 40 minutes waiting at the sampling center while there were only maybe 5 people to go before me when I follow arrival !!! Thank God my follow-ups are done elsewhere! My rib is AVOID this hospital at all costs !!
I expected more... had to wait 11 hrs! 11 hours... on a rainy Sunday, and only few people. 11 hours... I couldn't move due to back injury that made me unable to walk on my left leg nor sit bc the sciatica nerve was pinched. A few other people (3-4 of them) had less pain and was sitting comfortably with either eye twitching or brain headache that ran to their foot and only had to wait 4-6 hrs and got in the same time as me. I overheard their diagnosis while I was screaming in pain and couldn't find a comfortable position... I still had mad pain in my left leg when I left. I receive some medicine to reduce the pain and they did an X-ray. My dad had the same medication that didn't help, it burns the stomach. Bc of the long wait my leg pain is even worst, due to the stress put onto it, even with the medication. I'm not mad, I just wish they prioritise better... And, maybe have alternative medicine if it didn't work before...

(Translated) Unfortunately, you cannot put a 0. A service must be given with heart and with professionalism. There, it's as if the doctors and nurses don't give a damn about the world and they have no desire to treat you. Wait 10-12h to be told that you have nothing, but finally we go afterwards to another hospital and we are hospitalized for 2 days.

Awful staff, rude, arrogant and no compassion. Worst hospital ever!!!
One of the worst, if not the worst hospital. Sadly my father was brought to emergency there several times and he died there. We watched over him in emergency and intensive care 24 hours a day. He was allergic to tomatoes, dairy, eggs. He could not chew. What did the give him for breakfast toast, tomatoes juice, scrambled eggs and tomatoes juice. He had a massive allergic reaction, crying in pain. What did they tell me.. Can you keep his voice down!!!! When he died they were rushing to get him out of emergency and he had not passed away two hours and they were asking for his medicare card back. !! My mother was also treated there and it was the worst place for her as well. When visiting hours were over, security told me to leave and I told them I am not leaving my father here. Family is not part of the care in this place. I had a nurses who refused to speak to my father in English. He was paralyzed. and could not longer speak!!! There were two great nurses and an orderly but when they were not around I worried ALOT!!! Be tough and know your rights and patience rights.
(Translated) Very compassionate (Original) Tres compatissant
I don’t understand all the negative reviews, i had an electric saw accident and 2 months worth of followups for my injury and at every step - from reception to emergency to plastic surgeon absolutely everyone i talked to or interacted with was extremely helpful. All seemed up beat and happy to help. Honestly they made a traumatic experience as painless as is humanly possible. A+++

(Translated) Having requested an appointment for the cardiology department (via the Mieux-être medical clinic), I was very pleasantly surprised by the organizational quality and the very professional welcome. The nurse (Marie Hélène Hamelin) who took the samples and coordinated my circuit of the various tests was amazingly pleasant and professionally professional (both by phone and face-to-face). No waiting, everything was done on time. Well done to the whole team and particularly to Marie Hélène.
If I could give this hospital 0 stars, then I would. Went to the emergency part of this hospital. Some of the nurses and nurses aid working there were kind of rude, especially when they found out my French wasn’t good. The hospital isn’t dirty, but it’s not as well maintained and as updated as other hospitals. Update: went back for a check up. The appointment was made and even got a confirmation call the day before as a reminder to go. Went there and was denied at the door by a lady who was very rude and unhelpful. She said there was no appointment and was unwilling to help in any way. When I called later in the day, I was told that there wasn’t even a file there and I wasn’t allowed to make an appointment.

(Translated) I have specialists at this hospital. The majority of the staff are courteous and kind. Being of reduced mobility, the security guards will often see my technical aids or my wheelchair and they will push me in a wheelchair given my state of health. This is the first time that I can say that it makes the many visits a little more pleasant. On the other hand, the people who receive our calls are sometimes rude and dry. I have no words for the experience thus far; my daughter is 11 weeks pregnant and spotting, suffice to say how nerve wracking and distressing the situation is to begin with, it's now 3 hours that we are here and of course I'm not insinuating that this is long, as there are people here who have been waiting for 6 hour plus. The triage was quick as was the blood tests and urine test . I understand the results take time but what just appalled me is what the nurse answered my daughter after she advised her pain has increased. It's already a ridiculous question to ask someone to rate their pain on 1 to ten scale but that's the way it's done. So my daughter said ten , now pregnant and all the nurse answered my daughter " even if I was to stick a knife in your belly your pain wouldn't be ten". How cold and disturbing of a thought or comment. This is obviously an abusive and aggressive person . Unstable in her thoughts . Left me with an eerie feeling. Just sick!! This person does not belong in a health care system.
(Translated) I gave birth in this hospital to my first child and the professionalism and dedication of each professional involved in my stay was only perfect, reassuring. I was able to benefit from many of their very good advice and they knew how to put me at ease in a moment of complete stranger to us. Thank you, 7th floor team :)!
