Horrible hospital. Long wait times when people are in serious pain and don't care just because they're not screaming out in agony. Then nurse Melanie proceeded to get into a verbal agruement with me over if I should really be there over chronic pain from a broken vertabre or not.

This hospital has the best care for people who need medical attention. The staff genuinely care not only for their patients but also for patients families. They keep the families well informed of the care and procedures they do to help your loved one every step of the way. Great place to be if you become ill

Went to the lab to get blood work done. Had a sweet young lady take my blood. Staff were friendly and helpful, and better yet bubbly. I am from Calgary and don't receive that kind of care in the city. Nice to see people smiling *behind masks mind you* and taking care of each other.

Went to the ER 3 times this week they told me on monday it was pneumonia . Sent me home with antibiotics that never worked . I went back on Thursday ( yesterday) the doctor looked me in the eyes and said that don't know what's wrong with you here's a bunch of medications if you don't feel better by tomorrow come back . I went back this morning for them to tell me they " think " it's a viral infection and to stop all medications and only drink water and take advil . They don't care about you . They don't care about how much you've been suffering . They don't care period . Go elsewhere. So you don't have to spend a week in the ER to be told it can be fixed with advil and water. They shouldn't even be in health care. Took 3 nurses , 2 doctors and a medical student to tell me it's just a cold. They should be ashamed of themselves .

I went to Rocky Mountain House Health Centre emergency service to get treatment for flue. They made me wait for 4 hours even though there were only few patients. They did not care or show any kind of care for my pain. The doctor show up after 4 hours of waiting, without examination or test he prescribed me medications for asthma and gingivitis...It was very disappointing experience.

Once I arrived at hospital, was signed in and assigned a room very quickly for the symptoms I had. All I have to say is a big "thank you" for the Doctor, nurse & staff. Ambulance drivers for transfer to Red Deer hospital for test were polite and incredible. Again a big Thank You to all and all the best!

Pretty sure i dislocated my knee and i waited about 3 hours with a somewhat painful and very uncomfortable knee injury and pretty much left me unattended so i left and im going to be going to Rimby hospital from now on, on multiple occasions they also left y 60 year old father waiting and twice they forgot he was even there the one time he broke his foot and was waiting for about 2 and a half hours and no one came to even see how bad his foot was, another time he had broken a vein in his nose and the bleeding wouldnt stop and they actually left him in a room from 6pm to 11pm and the doctor had gone home during that time.

Went in with pain so bad in my legs I could barely walk. A kind stranger also getting checked out helped me in. From there, minus one nurse, I was treated with complete disrespect and disregarded. Got a shot of Toridol and left on a bed. A doctor finally came in and asked what I was wanting from them. Left in just as much pain. Never go to Rocky Hospital if you want care, especially December 23. Watched a First Nation family leave after being ignored, yet a Caucasian family with a feverish baby were cared for well. So wrong! And yes, I am Caucasian. Hope the Christmas party they were all busy discussing at the nurses station went well.

My partner and I went up to Nordegg to go camping. He started feeling like it was very painful for him to breathe. We get him to the ER at 1am where we waited 3 hours to see a doctor despite there being very few patients there. They took an x ray and then said he had a collapsed lung. They said he needed a tube inserted into his chest. We find out later, at a different hospital that they inserted the wrong size of tube, possibly causing nerve damage. He was in immense amounts of pain, they did not seem to care. They approved for him to be discharged when he could barely move, could barely stand and no nurses helped. Very disappointed with the care he received. Would never come here again.

Doctor and nurses were very good with my daughter. The doctor that was on call last night took the time to explain everything in details to us as to what was going on with her. thank you so much !

We had an emergencywhile travelling and needed a hospital. Wow - the staff were really good. When it looked like we'd be there a while, they set up a cot for me so i could stay with my husband. I will never forget the kindness of the staff, and I'm happy to say they got my husband back on the road.

This man saved my life when I came in with a severe headache ...he sent me for tests & found out I had venous sinous thrombosis. ...I was treated & recovered under his watchfull &dilligent care ....I have the utmost respect for this very capable & diligent Dr.

Do not go to this hospital they will make you wait for hours without even getting noticed. its best to go to a different hospital entirely.

Theres no Doctor on call at night they told me the Doctor wont come to the Hospital for my Niece shes 6 so now im heading to red deer. Go to Sundre or Red deer ROCKY SUCKS. lazy

I have never had a problem or long waits to see a doctor. I have been hospitalized several times and have never been neglected while in their care. I feel for front line workers as they not only are dealing with physically sick patients but a number of dementia residents as well. Watching the care each and every worker gave to patients impressed me, not once did I see anyone neglect or treat anyone with less than .the utmost respect. They could not leave patients vulnerable without someone being with them to chase after wandering dementia patients bothering other patients. I know first hand and saw the difficulties they had dealing with them. Perhaps those that gave poor reviews have never been to a city hospital, I have to many and will take Rocky any day.

Its the most raciest hospital. If your native or of color your screwed. All doctors dont give a. . Ive been going there 18yrs n not once have they done anything. And i go to a diff doctor in the city or anywere else they find i do have a problem.

Went there for a CoVID test. Forgot if it was at 9 or 930, the nurse came out and said she would grab her stuff even though I was a half hour early. Very nice lady, who explained anything. Shocked at reviews prior to mine.

Not much sense goin there unless your dead, they just seem to want to have you sit there for hrs an hrs, not a single other person come in but u still see no doc, I did see them chatting up the nurses at the station the whole time I guess Alberta health must like paying for nothin cause I bet they are footing the bill for us all to sit in the lobby, good scam for them I guess but if you need help go elsewhere, especially if it’s an emergency , I would hate to see the wait time for that. Who is in charge of these people and why are they not doing their jobs

Was passing thru Rocky Mountain House and unfortunately needed ER services. I must say the ER was great. Dr Naude was the Dr in ER that day. She is a very nice Dr explained everything very well and was very thorough The staff and Dr where all very efficient. The wait was not too long overall experience was great! Wish we had more Dr.s like that:)
