I am very blessed to have this where I live now a days. It sometimes can be slow but be thankful something like this is near by and can help you the best they can. The last time I was here I was not my self nor was I ever feeling good. But thanks to good Doctors and nurses I got the help I seek and regain my strength and my health. So I'm thankful for the staff and the doctors that are there to serve and to help those who need medical attention and help those who are needed. The plus side about this place, it offers a place for safety incase of any major storms that comes into town each year that summer comes. So don't be shy of coming here incase you need help or a place to be safe from any major storm events

Excellent hospital. With excellent patient care and diagnosis. This is my first choice for a local hospital. Understanding of first nations. And overall care.

I know its severly ill, but the color of our skin should not keep us non caucasin people waiting to be last. There is africans, indigenous, asian descents that get helped last even if they are in severe pain.

My friend went in for stitches and they refused, so she had to go to lacombe and they gave her the proper treatment thankfully. Ponoka did nothing.

First time I cam I was dismissed with a prescription had to return the next morning in severe distress. I had been fighting pneumonia & had complications. I am better now but apparently pneumonia means you need to be herded n forced into Centennial Center against your will and against any solid sense. Dr. Gilbert is the worst if she looks after you watch out for her railroading bullying tactics. Uncalled for and disrespectful. Nurses were good on the units though thanks to them

The nurse (Lauren, working 07/08/21) was rude and extremely unprofessional.

Simple hospital, very simple layout, and friendly staff overall it's a pretty decent place always kept very clean and well maintained.

I waited 2+ hours and I got prescription and they did nothing for my injures

My kids were showing their horses in Ponoka today when I began having immense unbearable cramping due to miscarriage. I was emotional and experiencing debilitating pain so bad I could hardly breath or move. I reluctantly agreed to go to the hospital with my husband and they would not let him come in because our two toddlers were with us. I decided to go in alone because the pain was unbearable, although sitting alone in a waiting room was the last thing I wanted to do. The security guard directed me to go around the corner to register, where I stood bawling my eyes out due to pain only to have the nurse look up and tell me I needed to go wait to register. Did not even ask if I was ok. After sitting there alone for 15 minutes I asked them how long it was going to be (there was only one other person in waiting room) and if I’d be better to go somewhere else, and their tone was rude and again did not ask about my condition when I stated I was in unbearable pain. After half an hour of having no one ask me anything I finally left. I was in terrible pain for almost 2 hours as I eventually ended up going to Rimbey hospital where they immediately offered me a wheel chair and I saw a doctor within 15 minutes. Highly recommend driving the bit of extra distance to lacombe or Rimbey.

Thank you to all the staff and paramedics last night for helping me. You are all overworked and underpaid, and COVID has worsened everything. Yes, things took a while, but I completely understand and so should others. You are NOT machines!! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for helping me!! ❤️

The best of staff, caring, diligent staff

We waited 6 hours for nothing. They said I’m we’re next but they kept treating other people after me.
