DESCRIPTION

You will be able to see all the reviews of people who buy the services of Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre (Hospital) in the territory of Alberta (Canada).

As of day the business gets a score of 2.9 stars out of 5 and the score has been based on 22 reviews.

As you can see the average score it has is average, neither too high nor too low, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we may say that the evaluation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are satisfied with the business, it works.

As you know, we don't usually bother to place tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

This Hospital belongs to the category of General hospital.

REVIEWS OF Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre IN Alberta

Stacie McBride (Staci)

I saw all of these reviews and worried about going in. I went to the Lab with an appointment and was in and out in 10min. I have terrible veins the tech who worked with me was fantastic, as was the woman who was at the registration desk. All together a great experience. An understanding of the current situation in the medical system and world at large will go a long way in your experience. Remember these people are just doing their jobs and following the rules given to them for YOUR safety.

Having my father in palliative care there. The staff were great. He was treated with respect and made comfortable. The nurses deserve a raise

I went in there with chest pain. I've been ignoring it for a while now, but after about a month it got worse and started to spread. Told them about it, and they started doing a lot of checking in my stomach area. I asked why they were checking my stomach when I have chest pain, and was met with "we were told you were having abdominal pain"..nice...anyway after about three hours I gave up but they sent me home with a prescription for something to control my stomach acid that is not an issue. Still have the chest pain, but I had to leave so I could get enough sleep to go to work the next morning, so I was done screwing around.

Chris Dubois

How come its closed at 4pm on the button when we arrive at 357 on the nose were locked out. If you want to be hard on the rules, be hard on the rules both ways. I love Canadian healthcare but let's be better as a team

michael folkerts

worst hospital ever. I'd give 0 stars if i could butt i can't

After spending 1 hr and 45 minutes sitting in waiting room to see about stitches or the glue stuff they use to seal my finger. I gave up and asked for a fresh bandage to get me home. The Dr was too busy sitting at the Computer playing catch up instead of seeing any patients. Not one person was seen the whole time I was there. I won't need a reminder to not go there again.

Braeden Dempster

Absolutely the most ignorant staff who are heartless. Wouldn't even let me in to be with my wife because of "covid" when I have no symptoms of any kind. I seriously wish we had another hospital. If you can, avoid this place like the plague.

The staff from reception, to the triage nurse & doctor was exceptional. They got more done in a hour than the medical system has done in a year back home ( BC) they treated me with dignity and respect. I am grateful.

Val Hunt

Of some of the smaller hospitals I found the care from the staff was first rate and the er staff the same. When I was having heart issues they were professional and attentive and I have never notice that anyone was waiting to be seen

Wendy DePies

This hospital is the worst I have ever seen. My sister and I came from the US to see our mother and her last few days. We were told by the palliative nurse that if she was in her last hours we would be allowed to come in and see her with proper PPE. We went through two flight cancellations and applied for our citizenship. We finally were successful in getting over there and getting our citizenship. Our mother had a stroke third day we got there. The hospital would not let us in to see her. We had to watch her die on FaceTime. It was devastating. At the time there was no Covid cases in the hospital. I will never forget this.

Listened to two nurses for a minute talk about a turkey sandwich rather than help the elderly lady who had sent an alert requesting aid from her emergency bed.
