Went unexpectedly to this salon, surprised my mother-in-law to a hair cut, perm and blow dry and she was so pleased with the service provided by Pina. Everyone at the salon was so nice and professional. Pina made us feel so special and she was amazing at providing exactly what she wanted. We will definitely be returning to see her again. The experience at Milan mirrors the lyrics from the theme song to "Cheers"... "where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came"....that's the vibe there. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 30 years ...Bernie is like family. He takes the time to work with whatever styling queue or desire you want to explore .... everyone is friendly, there's ample parking and subway access ... prices are reasonable....and it's impeccably clean. I can't imagine going elsewhere.

Didn’t like this palce at all. The front desk lady was horrible. Said my hair wasn’t worth any hairstyle so it was best if I just let it grow. Didn’t even hear me out. The salon upstairs of this one in St. Lawrence market is way better. Went there after the horrible experience at this place. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

1st of all I'd like to say that I completely understand if anyone thinks this review is biased. I've been coming to Milan hair studios for my whole life and I mean MY WHOLE LIFE... Bernie is my father and I see the work he does regularly and the quality of it. There is not one stylist in there who does not give it their 100% best in making sure that every single customer that walks through our doors leaves satisfied. I've also been to other salons in the past. Even if I was not related to any of the stylists at Milan hair studios, I would still say that it is the best salon that anyone can go to get anything done to their hair. I've also had friends who have gone to my father Bernie for a haircut and they left saying that it was the best salon they've ever been to. When my Grandfather Domenico opened up Milan hair studios back in 1989, he didn't just open a salon just for the sake of opening one up. He found the Passion that has always been inside him. Had it not been for Domenico, none of us would be where we are today. Keep up the great work everyone. ♥️♥️♥️???????????????????????????? Rob Carinci.

This salon is lovely. Been going here since I was a little girl. All of the staff are very nice and super friendly. The prices are well set and the stylists are talented at what they do. There is a person here for all of your hair needs, whether that be styling, cutting of colouring. 10/10!

I went to get my hair permed for my 50th birthday. Light wave perm please, with Pina. I went on a Tuesday (this salon was near my work, across the street from CIBC) and my birthday was the next Sunday. In all my life I've never seen a worse result. My hair was ruined beyond belief. It would need to be seen to be truly be understood what I'm saying here. I had called to , speak with the manager. I was given a refund, but was told that my hair looked fine. Every single person that saw my hair, was shocked with the way my hair looked. (5 minutes earlier, I was told that the manager was on vacation). This business has shown no accountability OR RESPONSBILITY . My hair was long , healthy, pretty and it was burned at the roots. I have patches were my hair is now < 1 inch long, I have a pixie cut, my hair is frizzy , brittle, and will not hold colour. ( it looks like pubic hair to be truthful.) All I wanted was a human response , I'm sorry and even just to say , we both would have wanted a better result. I don't expect to look like a movie star; but, this is a whole new level of bad hair. I've bought a wig.

As a customer coming to Milan Hair for over 15 years I always appreciated professional service and accomodating business hours. This place has no frills, which allows it to keep prices affordable. I always go for a simple men's haircut and still a lot of others places left me dissatisfied. Not this one. From the very first cut my hairdresser knew what would look better on me and has been doing a great job ever since.

How to compliment a place where you go for 20+ years to get a hearcut. This is my place. I get a professional haircut for the best price in town. Nice , friendly people, just feel-good place. This short review was long time coming. But You deserve it, and I am sorry for not doing this waaaaay sooooner. And not to forget to mention place is international, multicultural, Italian, Korean, they have it all. You learn about cultures, places to see and visit. Thank you for 20 years, and some more.

This place is very hit and miss. The best barbers provide an decent haircut. There are some good barbers such as Peter, Steve and Pina but others who just rush the haircut and just do a horrible job, such as Bernie or Sonia. In conclusion, if you are wanting to get a haircut here make sure you choose the right barber, as some are good and take time to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. And other barbers at Milan just rush their haircuts to fit in as many customers as possible to make more money. Also, a plus side is they do not charge tax here.

I thought of it as a professional salon only to notice that it is the worst hair salon you can go in. I just wanted a normal mid-fade haircut and even that he couldn’t do it perfectly. The fade was so poor that you can clearly see the spots of different level of hairs. When i told the barber to fade it correctly he started saying that fade depends on the skin and hair, but i do have a dense hair! It was awful, a total waste of money!????????????

I went online to book an appointment and find that you are asking for a deposit for an appointment. I have been a customer of yours for several years but not any more. I find asking for a deposit to be very cheesy and not professional. Not only that you are saying you will accept cash only The last time you opened you had raised prices a lot. I will find someone who appreciate their last standing customers not someone who is not only trying to rip off their customers but the Government also.

Meh... u wanna live life looking like you dont care about your looks.. then go here. My husband got a "fade" here.. and theres was defined lines all over his head from the cut.. as well as a weird triangle patch of hair at the back of his head. obviously they didnt even look at what they're doing when they finished... u fortunately my husband couldn't see the results until the end, and the hairdresser already took another client and sent us to pay. At that point my husband was too frustrated to go back and complain.. I mean I really dont think I should be doing quality control of their work. It wasn't a style mistake. It was a cut mistake. PS. I love how the owner has something backhanded to say for everyone who is dissatisfied with their experience :)) I guess its hitting a nerve.

I don't often do reviews but this is worth mentioning. I went in for a haircut, i was nervous, as I have never been here before. I was greeted with a smile and immediately felt like I belonged here! The buzz of the salon is fun and happy family feeling, not stuck up and snobby like some salons. I want to go back as they made me feel like family and not just like a customer. A pleasant salon close to subway access and great parking. They have been in business for many years. The staff are friendly. Always willing to share and chat and have a few good laughs. My hairdresser in particular Peter is excellent. He has given me a signature hair colour that many people have stopped to ask me where I had it done. I always refer them to this salon. I have been coming to this salon for at least 7 years and I would not consider changing. All the hairdressers in this establishment are seasoned and know what they are doing. I am a little bias to my own hairdresser as he is the only one I use and he is truly amazing.

Thankfully the salon is open again and I felt very safe in the premises. Bernie took my temperature, I signed in and everyone was in masks. The salon still had its friendly feel and all precautions were carefully met. I have been going to Lina for years and also to Mai. If you are looking for a salon that is doing their best to keep customers safe, Milan is your place. Lastly, it is great to have new colour and cut after so many months! Thanks again!
