I have been going to Tangles for years. They do excellent work! I recommend all of the hair stylists, they know and love their job. I have had hair highlights, full colour, hair cuts and styles and several different waxing procedures. I have been happy with my experiences here and I find them very affordable! For the last number of years, the stylists at Tangles have helped to keep my hair looking lovely as a light blonde, which can be a challenge. I will also say that I am quite impressed with the level of professionalism this particular hair salon has taken with their Covid protocol. I highly recommend Tangles to all my friends and family who live in the area. I know there are a lot of good hair salons around, but there is something special about the team at Tangles that really helps them stand out as extraordinary.

I decided it was time for a haircut so made an appt . When I sat in the chair the lady asked me if I wanted it washed and i said no it was ok , so she wet my hair and started cutting , now I don't have a lot of hair so it didn't take very long not even 10 min. When I went to pay they charged me $29.00 !! The last time I went there they only charged me $16.00 for the same haircut . I guess they didn't have many customers today and they needed the money . NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL

Seriously love this place! Just moved here, looking for a reliable salon. These girls are awesome! Patient, attentive, very precise in their work. I got an apprentice and she did a fantastic job with my hair. Best hair wash/massage I've ever had at a salon. I really appreciated when she asked the veteran stylist for help with part of the cut - shows a lot of willingness to learn. Inside is fun and bright, chill music, super kind staff from start to finish. Will definitely be going back for any hair/makeup/nails etc!

This was my first experience at Tangles where I recently had my hair coloured and cut by Krystal. I was puzzled as to why the colour was in my hair for 50 minutes with no timer set. Hair colour processing time is usually 30 minutes. Even high end salons use a timer so I don't know why my colour wasn't being monitored. I should have said something, but lost track of time while browsing my phone and realized afterwards how much time had passed. I was concerned for my hair being damaged, as well as chemicals in the colour soaking into my scalp for almost an hour. Then, the cut. It lasted approximately 2-3 minutes. The back was cut literally in a straight line right across. No thinning out the ends, no technique used, just a heavy blunt cut. I couldn't stay for a blow dry, so couldn't tell what the cut looked like til I got home and dried it myself. I need another haircut to correct this one, not to mention I paid 150$ for colour, a 2 minute cut, and no blow dry. When I asked at the cash if I was charged for a blow dry, she said, well I charged you for the cut and the blow dry is part of that. Then she gave me a voucher for a free blow dry next time. I definitely won't be going back, but would have appreciated a discount at that moment. If I didnt get a blow dry, I shouldn't be charged for one.

BTW, they also now sell WOW hair care. The WOW root touch up is the best out there and saved me during the COVID months. Well worth the price.

Unless your going with a darker color and dont want to be Blonde I would recommend. Blondes NOT so much. I paid $190 for my hair to be completely destroyed and not anything CLOSE to being platinum blonde. I went in originally with my hair already pre lightened I really only needed a toner. I showed them how blonde I wanted to be which I've been doing my entire life then she told me she was going to brush a root color I said I didn't want to be copper she said it won't be I said okay if you think so. (Trusting they know more about hair)First girl ruined my hair then I had to go back to get it fixed the roots looked a little bit better. Upon coming home and trying to wash my hair a few times my hair is completely orange and copper not blonde not Platinum it's gray and silver and blue in some very random spots literally all my life my hair has never been this bad nor have I ever paid $190 to have my hair destroyed and to be told that I can't go any lighter when I've been going platinum blonde my entire life of colouring my hair. I asked for half my money back witch they wont return only in a salon credit witch I'll never be back to have them fix my hair. I don't want to go somewhere for them to tell me that they know what they're doing and tell me that I can't go any lighter than I am when I know that I can. It's kind of annoying to have somebody tell you what your hair should look like when you know what it will look like done properly. So $240 in that Salon Spent on my hair and now I have to go and pay somebody who specializes in blonde to fix my hair.

Too many to put an exact number of years to, but it has to be over 28 years. 90% of the time Sharon, the salon owner has done my hair, and I have never come away not loving what she has done with my hair. She has seen my two girls and my husband as well. When Sharon is not available I will see one of the other stylists and have always been more than please with their service also. I have told many people about Tangles over the years and they have also been very happy with the services they received.
