I dont recommend this place. I went there to get my hair dyed. There were three ladies who just sat there and didn't even get up until we walked all the way in. When I told the girl at the desk what I wanted she asked the other two lady's sitting down if they wanted to and they said no then I was told they couldn't do it because they've never done it before. That is their job as a hair stylist. It just showed how lazy they were.

I went in on New Year's Eve (12/31/18) because I REALLY needed my hair cut and thinned. I got there around 5:15pm. They closed at 6. I've never had a good experience at a Cost Cutters before (I've been to the Grand Island and Hastings location in the past). I have long (to the middle of my back), thick, blonde hair. All I wanted was .5 to 1 inch cut off. I also had them shampoo my hair, because when it's cut dry it ends up uneven. *Side note: It usually takes about an hour, typically, to get my hair cut. Since my hair is so long and thick (normally need 3 ponytails to keep it in a bun). Anyway, I was only there for about 25 minutes. I can't remember the stylist's name (I'll edit this post once I do). She took 1.5 inches off (not a big deal, my hair grows fast) and then barely thinned my hair. Plus, she partially dried it. I paid, then left. When I got into my car, my hair was frozen (didn't park too far away from the entrance). *Side note (again): Some guy was bleaching his hair or dying it extremely blonde and his stylist wasn't even sure how long the product needed to stay on. My stylist had to give her the correct time. All in all, I appreciated that I was able to get in without a long wait. However, I felt like the stylist was rushing to get me out of there.

My stylist was great! Her name was Alyshia. She listened to me and I got the hair style I've wanted for years. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I hope she's there when I need a touch up. This salon was at the Walmart in York, Ne.

My girlfriend went in there wanting some kind of platinum blonde highlights and an ash undertone and came home crying with some kind of red hair with yellow highlights. She spent five hours there. Do not recommend!
