Kristina is very professional, and she works with love, she takes care of all the details. Personally she was very kind to me. I went to her after two months of having my baby. I was starting to lose my hair, lot of it ???? so I was planning to cut my hair short, no styling, no coloring, nothing just short! Anyway, I arrived the day of appointment on time, had to wait outside with my 9 years old daughter coz of COVID-19 measurements. 10 min later my daughter wanted a drink from the store beside the salon, I told the receptionist that I am grabbing a drink. 5 min later came back and Kristina was waiting for me thinking that I was late for my appointment. After a short argument " due to missunderstanding of what really happened" I agreed to come the next day. Next day, Kristina gave me a true makeover ( for free) as an apology for the missunderstanding, after she knew that I wasn't really late. I am writing this long detailed review so I express my appreciation to her and to her kindness of dealing with my messy depressed situation I was feeling that time ( I think it was a Postpartum depression). thank you and you're definitely my Salon for ever :)

I have been here two times for highlights and a cut. And I'm so so happy and satisfied with the service and the work done. My hair looks beautiful. I came here with damaged hair and I had a horrible hair color but Heather worked on my hair and gave an excellent solution. I am so pleased. Amazing customer service. And while you are in there you get a complementary hand massage and make-up touch up. Go and ask for Heather trust me!

Such an amazing experience! I have really curly hair so I was hesitant to get my hair cut, but Edie was so great and listened to exactly what I wanted. She cut and shaped my hair dry first and then went in while it was wet to make sure everything was perfect. If you have curly hair I recommend her 100%!! And the price wasn't too high for excellent service.

I got a trim from Claudine and she exceeded my expectations! She is friendly, extremely knowledgable/experienced, oh and gives beautiful haircuts! As someone who has attachment issues to the length of my hair, Claudine did a wonderful job of getting rid of my all of my split ends but kept the length. I highly recommend Claudine if you want a quality cut and experience, 5/5!!

I have never left this salon happy I always show a reference image and get the opposite of what I asked for. My most recent visit was the most disappointing I showed the stylist an image and she said she would be able to do it and my hair looked oranger then when I came In and nothing like the reference image and she charged me over $200 for it and when I tried to ask for a refund or for the manger to do something she said all I could do is come back to the salon and she will fix it however the ruin my hair every time so I had to go to a different salon and pay even more money to get it fixed because I refuse to go back. I have been trying to get in contact with the manger but there’s been no communication it’s very unprofessional.I truly have never been so disappointed with a business in my entire life they are not qualified stylist if your looking to get your hair balayaged I 10/10 recommend you go anywhere but here.

I went here to have a perm done . I showed a picture of my hair with curls very retro look and said this is what I want. The hairstylist did a summer perm without asking confirming what I wanted; and she said this was the only perm for hair she knew of . . I visited 3 other salons who said yes they could have done what i asked for as they do them quite frequently . If she didn't understand what I wanted she should have said so . The top of my hair was flat no curls. I thought the perm solution was bad. They charged me over $200 to ruin my hair. They said they would make it right but still waiting on that to happen . This morning after waiting 4 days I washed my hair the so called perm disappeared.. Extremely upset.

I have been accessing Voila services since I was a little girl. I remember visiting the Northfield location as a child with my mom when owner Frank cut my hair making me feel like a princess. In recent years I have exclusively booked with Voila Sportsworld run by the talented Christina (the only other franchise owner)!!! My mom has very curly hair and snow white hair is in her genes. Everywhere we go my mom gets complimented on her hair. She's even been called Carole King! All credit to Christina and her dedicated staff. For myself, I have come to Christina with true hair emergencies and she has turned my trump like locks into beautiful bouncing curls, spending hours colouring strand by strand (Lynn). Amazing experience! My first time here and I was referred by a friend. Upon arrival I was offered a "virgin mojito" which was yummy. I saw Leah for a cut and colour - she is absolutely fantastic!! I never know what to do about my hair, she helped with the colour, the style, everything and got it right! And while my colour was processing I was offered a complimentary hand service. All in all, it was such a good experience and I am happy to say I have finally found a salon to stick with!

Fell in love with this salon and my stylist Shannon 2 years ago! By random chance I was paired up with her for an updo, and it has been one amazing hair experience after another ever since! The salon has a fantastic vibe, great services, but Shannon specifically has been outstanding! I always feel comfortable when I'm there. Not to mention the scalp massages are amazing! I'm going to save up so she can do my colour some time. Her portfolio is very diverse and talented. I definitely would recommend Voila to my friends and family that ask where I get my hair cut :)

I went to the salon a few weeks ago to have several things done to my hair. Not one thing was done correctly and my hair looks worse than when I first went in. First, I asked for blonde highlights. Although I am naturally a brunette, I have been getting blonde highlights for almost 10 years and have never had a stylist have a problem with highlighting my hair blonde sufficiently to cover any blonde. The stylist who worked on my hair seemed to be adding chunks of blonde highlights instead of taking sufficient time to slowly and properly separating strands of hair to highlight. So after the work was done, you could very much see my roots and see lots of brown under the blonde. Further, the blonde highlights are not blonde - there are streaks of yellow and orange throughout my hair. It is extremely embarrassing to walk around with yellow and orange hair when it should look natural blonde. Never has this happened to my hair before. Further, I asked for chunks of Elumen colour in my hair. The stylist didn't even seem to know all of the steps for applying and locking in the Elumen colour. After only 3 times washing my hair since having the colour applied, the colour is already fading. I have been getting Elumen applied to my hair for almost 9 years and not once has it ever faded this quickly. Further, I asked for my hair to be cut in long layers and for the bottom layers to form a v-shape at the end. Instead, the stylist cut my hair bluntly and straight across the bottom. It looks absolutely hideous so blunt across the bottom. I spent almost $500.00 on my hair and now, thanks to this botched job, I have to spend just as much to get my hair fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. The whole time I was at the salon, it seemed like the stylist was rushing to get things done and get me out of the salon quickly and ended up ruining my hair because she didn't want to take the proper time required to do my hair. I am embarrassed walking about in public with yellow- and orange-tinged hair. It doesn't look blonde at all. It is equally embarrassing to say I had my hair done by a professional and it turned out looking cheap and unprofessional. I do not recommend going to this salon.

Love this salon! I have gotten my hair done by Jaide for the past 3 years and still can’t come up with a single complaint. She has always exceeded my expectations and knows exactly how to make my hair look the way I want it to. If you are looking for an excellent and consistent hairdresser, Jaide is your girl! Also, the salon is very professional and respectful. Especially during Covid-19, the salon has put in great safety precautions and all staff members have done an excellent job with following through! Overall a great and reliable salon to go to!!

I honestly don't ever do reviews on google, but im so frustrated I had to. I had an appointment to get my hair coloured at 12:45 last week. I got in , sat down and started to tell the lady what I wanted . I was told that going from blonde highlighted hair to dark , I would see SOME blonde shine through, I was fine with that as this isn't my first time going from blonde to dark again, but I have never had a hair dresser that has covered my hair from blonde to brown and still pretty much see the ENTIRE blonde hair coming through. I have had so many comments that my hair looks red (that's what it looks like in certain places) and that's not what I asked for, its supposed to be BROWN. Not to mention, I am almost a week from my appointment and every time I wash my hair, colour is STILL coming out . it looks like I haven't coloured my hair in months. I would also like to note that the timing this salon takes for only one solid colour, is absurd. it took two and a half hours for a solid colour, and eye brow wax- no cut, no style, nothing, when I've had my hair cut, styled, and coloured at other salons in the same amount of time. such a waste of 180$ to now have to pay someone else to colour it again. my first experience there two years ago was great, but last week was horrible. I absolutely hate my hair and i'll never return.

I had an appointment a couple of weeks ago and they were lovely over the phone and in person. They were able to accommodate a same way appointment which was very much appreciated. The hair stylist was also lovely and recognized my comfort levels --she wasn't overly chatty like most people are and I was fine with being quiet. What disappointed me the most was the quality. I asked for a Bob cut which she had done. However it was quite uneven, visibly on the mirror. She blow dried my hair and my hair likes to flip in and out when it's dried like that, but she didn't even try to brush them in the same direction or consider straightening it to determine if they were the same length. As a result, they were clearly not even. As she was finishing up, she already had another customer waiting and so seemed hurried to finish my cut. After I left the salon, I noticed after taking my mask off that I had a bunch of hair trapped in the mask and immediately returned. She was kind enough to fix it but obviously also noticed how uneven the rest of the Bob cut was and pretty much had to fix the entire head. I appreciated that she was able to fix it right away and the mask thing is no issue (I understand these are new barriers) but at the same time, dismayed that the entire Bob was just so uneven that she had to fix it anyway. I didn't want to give a review, but even today I'm straightening my hair for a holiday get together and still am finding my hair in uneven lengths and having to fix it myself. Would not come back here again.

Oh gosh I really wanted to like it here because I liked how open, clean and airy everything was! but it was my first and last time getting anything done, at this location anyways :( When I booked I asked for an "expert colourist" and the person who did my hair, while super nice and friendly, didn't understand what I needed. That's totally ok, but instead of asking for help which would have saved SO much time, gave me what I said several times I really didn't want. I went in a few days after to have the highlights toned down, and ended up somehow with a burgundy/reddish colour just at the roots, and different colours at the middle and top, which was really strange. After the *second* toner went on I overheard their coworker say they put "the wrong combination" on, and someone else then tried to correct it. I got tired after being there so long the second time and having lost confidence, I just left. I understand these things happen so I don't want to come on here for any negative vibes, but I sort of hope maybe this encourages anyone in the future to please just ask for help *before* work gets done.

I went to your Sportsworld location on Monday for a haircut and was very disappointed with the lack of accommodation when I had clearly called in TWICE if I can be accommodated because of my religious needs since I'm a Muslim woman and I cannot have any random man see my hair. Needless to say, the accommodation was a REAL flop as no preparation was done since the person who did the booking did not even mention my accommodations on a note (which is what was supposed to be done). As for the service, well, it felt like the lady was in a hurry to leave. A very, very uncomfortable experience.

My appointment was for 2:15, I wasn’t helped until maybe closer to 3. I went in for hair dye, cut and style. They closed at 4:30 and I felt like I was being rushed. I asked for my hair to be thinned and I don’t think she did. I wanted wavy hair, curls. But I think from rushing, she grabbed chunks of hair and curled them instead of smaller chunks of hair but legit like two hours later, all the curls went flat. When I left the salon, the stylist left like a minute later which made me think more that it was rushed. My original appointment was for 12:45 and they called to push it to 2:15, and then didn’t get served until close to 3. Seems unprofessional to me :(

Cosmo cut both my Wife's and my hair. Not only did he do a fantastic job for both of us but the experience was most pleasant and his attention to detail was impeccable. Myself having shorter hair, typically most stylists opt for a what I call a 'clipper cut'. Not Cosmo, he cut my hair the way it should be, by hand and with care. Watching him work through my wife's cut was an eye opener for me (never really seen all the steps that goes into a Ladies colour and cut). Cosmo took the time to explain to me what the steps were and how he has kept his schooling/training ongoing to ensure he is in the know for all the new techniques and looks. Cosmo was a true pleasure and we need not look any further for a professional, courteous and excellent stylist. Thank you Cosmo, a job very very well done!
