Took the wife here for her birthday before the pandemic; staff brought out a nice dessert with sparklers. Nobody sang happy birthday to embarrass her, was disappointed about that - and the fact the waitress looked like she had a long night and wasn't happy she had to be there. Otherwise, the visit was pleasant and food tasted good. Would appreciate more enthusiasm in the service, but I understand not everyone loves this line of work.

Have had more misses than hits. Even got $50 for getting raw chicken in a burger when I was 8 months pregnant but our waitress left our table for her friends at the next table. Having a 7 month old baby with us, I was pretty sure the teenager and his parents could have waited the few minutes while our food order was taken. They got their drinks and food before us, even though we were sat 10 minutes before them. Not high on my list to go back. Ever.

I wish when they built this plaza that someone would have taken the time to level out the parking lot as there's a lot of little hills and dips. It doesn't impact walking however people tend to leave their carts all over the lot. They can start rolling with little effort resulting in dented cars. I end up returning abandoned carts in an effort to stop this which shouldn't really be my concern. While abandoned carts is no fault of Smartcentres, a level parking lot is.

Pros: Great variety of big box stores (Can Tire, Walmart, Staples), smaller retailers like Marks and Carters Oshkosh, plus restaurants like McDs and Mr Sub. Gas station too. Handy one stop shopping! Cons: Some chronic eyesore-inducing sloppy property neglect around CanTire (weeds, overgrown grass, litter) makes a big part of the development look sloppy ...SmartCentres should put its foot down.

One of the larger stores I have ever been to. Staff seems nice, but perhaps some more experienced staff on evenings and weekends would be helpful. Their student part timers lack product knowledge, but are always willing to help, which is great and helpful. The store also has a sense of being perpetually unfinished, there are usually muliptipe isles crammed with unpacked stock waiting to be put away and many unfinished planograms in several departments. I do like this store overall.
