They cut my girlfriends hair here, butchered it, she layered it completely stepped. She's going to have to grow it out and have 6-7 inches chopped off to even it out. I had an appointment that I had to cancel for work, thank God is all I have say.

James is hands down the best hair dresser I have ever been to ( I have lived in 5 different cities and been to a ton of hair salons). My hair is thick and long and takes him 2-2.5 hours every time. Every visit, He never rushes and takes his time. I leave loving my hair every single time!

This was my first time getting my hair done and for my first experience it wasn't the best. He rushed me out of the door after paying $170 for a trim & dye. I was very disappointed because he was 1.5 hours behind and before me was this girl getting exactly what I asked for. He styled her hair & took an after picture so I was very excited to have a good first experience after waiting 2 years to get my hair dyed professionally.

Carlos always pleases with my hair - No complaints. I've went from dark to light and back several times now and have never had an issue. He is fairly busy so booking ahead of time is always recommended.

I have gone to this salon and tried 2 different stylists. Both couldn't do as I asked. The first one coloured my hair nice but too light. She did more what she wanted instead of what I wanted. The 2nd one really messed up. She touched up my roots only way to dark when I wanted my colour to be to my natural colour. I had to back that day to get toned as I had 2 different colours in my hair. Now my hair is so much darker than my natural colour. Both stylists didn't do what I asked. The worst is now I have to pay someone else now to fix my hair again. Sorry but dont go here!!

Worst experience. I wanted to color my hair professionally only once so that i don't have to bleach it later. They colored my hair which is not even visible and asked me get my hair bleached if i needed a lighter shade. Now I'm stuck with this color which i cannot even reverse or go lighter without bleach.

Batzy is my stylist and I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. I've never left her chair feeling anything other than entirely happy and satisfied with my services. She takes the time to walk me through what my service is going to include and a rough cost. I've approached her with many different hair ideas and she always highlights possible pain points with the particular style or colour before we even book the appointment (things like: it will fade very fast, expensive to maintain, constant upkeep, etc). I don't trust anyone else with my hair.

I was pretty hesitant with trying a new stylist because I've had so many shoddy experiences with hair salons in Windsor, but my experience at Cabello's was, by far, the best I've ever had! My stylist was so peppy and kind and was totally on board with a new cut I'd never tried. The atmosphere is trendy and welcoming, and the prices are affordable. My stylist even gave me a discount. All in all, I had a lovely time when I was there and they definitely gained a new regular.

I have been a loyal customer of the same stylist who currently works at Cabello for some 30 years. As a courtesy to him, and because I thought we were friends, I shall not post his name. However, I was truly disappointed, when after having made an appointment 3 months in advance to have my hair done on the morning of my daughter's wedding, to get a phone call at 8:30 a.m. saying he was ill. This has not been a rare occurrence - but this was not just a cut that could be rescheduled. I asked for someone else at Cabello to help me out that morning and nobody stepped up to the plate. I guess, as a customer, I didn't matter enough and I will not be returning.

I love this salon! When I arrive someone is always offering me a refreshment. The place is lively and the music is great. I have been going to James for years as he's amazing with giving me a great, funky short cut and fantastic colour. I get compliments on my hair constantly and I have James to thank for this. When people ask me what I pay, some find it a bit pricey but I think it's totally worth it and I have found that you really do get what you pay for. If you are looking for funky and fun, this is the place!

I lived in Windsor for almost a full year before finally visiting Cabello for a men's haircut, and in retrospect I have no idea why the hell I would do wait for so long; maybe I was looking for a place that was a bit less expensive and/or with a bit more availability. That was silly of me, and I should have gone to them from day one! Yes it is a bit pricier, but sometimes you get what you pay for -- and maybe the difficulty with booking an appointment speaks to how in-demand these professionals are. Batzy took care of my hair, and I felt I could trust her before even meeting her, since other Google reviewers pointed to her Instagram profile where I could see her past work: @thegreatbatzy. She did an amazing job and I will definitely stick with her for however much longer I'm in Windsor! Many of the stylists here are very passionate about their craft and share their work on social media -- check it out and decide for yourself.

Scheduling at this place is a nightmare. Every single time I arrive on time for the appointment, they made me wait 20-25 minutes. I was late for the first time by 10 minutes and stylist had left the salon. I had specifically booked an appointment with the stylist a week in advance just to have my time wasted. Some of the stylists are talented but my time is too valuable to wait around their schedule.

I normally never post reviews however, in this case it is necessary. I had the pleasure of Jocelyn being my hair dresser for my first perm and actually my first time ever going to a salon and allowing someone to manipulate my hair. I had a wonderful experience, Jocelyn was quiet *which personally is something i enjoy* and kind yet funny and attentive. She is extremely proffesional and my hair turned out exactly as I imagined in my head. Not only that but just the atmosphere and all the staff is positive and upbeat when dealing with clients. I would definitely recommend to anyone who asks and I will be returning.

I made an appointment request via their website and was given a message that I would receive an email with a confirmation of the time and day. I heard nothing. I attempted to call repeatedly and noone would answer the phone. I attempted to reach out via Facebook and received no response. Very poor customer service and I will be taking my business elsewhere. They don't seem to respect customer's time. Very disappointed.

In love with this place!! I got my hair done by Chloe and what an incredible job she did. We went from dark brunette to bright raspberry red/orange/yellow. What an amazing job! The whole staff were happy and kind. All employees were helping each other and the shop ran so smoothly. Highly recommend!!

I had hoped that going to a salon recognized as one of the best in Windsor would mean something.. it didn't. I was greeted by my "experienced" stylist who wore her hair in a greasy, half-wet, bobbed bun (it made me think of post-swim practice in high school). I should have walked away, then. My requested "full head of natural highlights" came out as a dozen or so brassy 2cm streaks. So disappointed. ... and to add insult to terrible colour service, I had to pay $150+! The salon itself is supposed to have a metro-loft sort of vibe but the layer of hair on the baseboard and the film on the show cabinets at the front had me wondering at the last time the tiny space had been properly cleaned and not just swept. Grunge is fine as a look but then how does Cabello justify their high-end prices?

I had a horrible first and second experience at this salon. The owner ended up doing a quick fix the third time I went in and just threw on a very deep purple which obviously wasn’t what I originally had and neither him or Batzy apologized to me. I did request a colour correction or my money back but I still left unsatisfied because of the lies and my hair was overpriced. I’m starting to question if one of the products I purchased for $30 is actually Olaplex or just a regular colour preserving conditioner. Batzy also posted a picture of me on Instagram and edited my purple hair pink! My eyes are edited baby blue too but I have green eyes. Very disappointing and frustrated at these mistakes and overall lack of accountability for someone in the service industry where costumers are the key to business. The emails are attached explaining what happened in detail along with photos of my botched hair.

I get mad to this place with the hairdresser Jocelyn. The website mark women's hair cut 32 dollars, I paid $30 for a 2 minitues consulation, if you don't go back, you paid $30 for 2 mins talk. Fine, I went back for a haircut to use this 30 bucks. I asked before getting started to make sure if I can use the credit They said yes, so I did haircut. Just a standard haircut, wash, blowout, within 30 mins they charge me $50! Probably other hairdressers were not that bad, but I had a horrible experience with them.I will never go back.

Would not recommend this salon. I went to this salon in December 2017, and Hannah charged me $35.00 for a layers haircut, she did an average job. In July 2018, Cindy charged me $50 for a layers haircut. Cindy didn't even blow dry my hair how I wanted, and when I asked if there were layers in the back she said "yes." But when I got home I realized that was not true. There were only layers at the front and are not symmetrical to the left side of my hair.

Alana did an amazing job! She is super sweet and definitely knows what she is doing. She gave me exactly what I asked for and at a reasonable price. The balayage turned out beautifully and she fixed my previous terrible layers. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for blonde hair. Never going back to this salon!!! I don’t even want to give one star to this place. Had the worst experience ever!! I went to get my hair dyed and showed a picture of how I wanted my hair to look. A girl named Betzy did such a poor job, I had to pay $130 for nothing. The colour was not even noticeable and she was saying me to stand in the sunlight to see the colour change. And I was like are you kidding me?? Do I have to stand in the sunlight everytime to show everyone that I got my hair dyed for $130 from a salon. Such a pathetic job. Will never recommend anyone to her.

Total waste of your time and money! My sister in law was getting her hair colored professionally for her first time and she wanted to go lighter. The stylist bleached her hair but did not get the colour that she had asked for. End results didn't look like she got her hair coloured or got anything done to it and got charged so much too. This happened and she was not willing to fix it either. When my sister went back to speak to the manager, he said that they would charge extra to fix it with bleach otherwise they can bring the colour that barely shows to the roots! She is a new mom and took time off to go get something done for herself first time and they turned that experience into a nightmare! Cabello just lost a whole lot of clients by doing that! I would not recommend this place to anyone and don't want to give it a single star

It was fine, the atmosphere is cool and my hair looks and feels nice but they charged me over $20 more than what I booked online (women's haircut $35). I was charged $55 plus tip. Also the chairs are not very comfortable.
