I went to DC Krew just to check if someone could handle my thick, straight, hip-length, abundant hair for a trim. Megan was able to accommodate me without an appointment due to a cancelation and...was I lucky to have found her!! I wanted a layered haircut without losing much of the length (just one or two inches to keep the hair looking healthy). She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She stopped in between the trim to show me the progress and reassure me that everything was going as per my wishes. She was super respectful (of my hair) which I really, really appreciate because many hair dressers when they see SO much hair, they feel like they want to experiment or feel overwhelmed and just try their best. I know my hair can be a challenge... I recently moved to White Rock and I'm glad I've already found my go-to girl. It's hard for me to trust someone with my hair, but Megan was amazing! DC Krew even called me to follow up to see if I was happy with the service and my new haircut. Yes, I am! The cut is really good. My hair looks good and weighs a lot less :) Thank you, Megan!

We brought our two daughters for a haircut. We struggle to find a hair salon that knows how to work with African curly hair. Gillian did an amazing job been super patient with us and while providing tips and explaining how to treat the hair at home. Me and my wife were very happy with the results. DC Krew is the best! I have wavy/curly hair and it requires special attention, as not many hairstylists know what to do with it! I see Madi (and she's amazing!) but there are other amazing stylists there as well. It's really nice not to have to drive out to Vancouver to find a curl specialist. Highly recommend! Also a fantastic selection of curl-friendly hair products!!

Fantastic experience from start to finish! I booked an appointment last minute and unfortunately the stylist I had booked it with had an emergency and couldn’t cut my hair. The lovely lady who works at the front desk went over and above to book me in with another stylist the next day. She noted that I have curly hair and would benefit from a stylist who has expertise with curly hair. I saw Megan the next day and she gave me a fantastic curly hair cut while explaining what she was doing along the way. Probably one of the best hair cuts/styling I’ve ever had.
