Love love love. Cannot say enough to express how truly awesome Deanna is at color. I’m from Los Angeles, temporarily living in Vancouver, and was due for my base, highlights and lowlights and found Hairology on line. Picked them because they use the same color brand that my stylist in LA uses. Went to my first visit with Deanna and was given the best color/highlights that I have ever had. Six weeks later for a partial and roots, walked away again thrilled. Don’t waste your time going to any other salon. Hairology is it!

After a 12 year search and trying many different salons I was so fortunate to be referred to Diana at Hairlogy. My highlights are the best I have ever had! Diana also did a beautiful updo for a wedding I attended. I showed her a pic in a magazine and voila.... Diana perfected it and it was even better than the picture. The Salon is lovely with very friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the salon. I couldn’t be happier and my search is over. Diana and the Hairology team are the best!

I got a Cezanne treatment from Susan during the first week they were open after the pandemic shut downs. The place was sparkling clean, all staff were sanitizing all surfaces and wearing masks, and Susan was friendly and professional. She gave me good hair care advice and fully explained to me the treatment I was getting, and what to expect for results. I can go back for an express touch up anytime I need to. Great salon, high quality products, and stylists who really know what they’re doing!

Sad story... happy ending: I loved my hairstylist of the last 3 years but he abruptly left the city, leaving former clients like me scrambling to find another good hair person. I literally Google-searched “best hair salon north shore” and Hairology was the top return based on numerous 5-star reviews. I booked an appointment for a root touch-up with Susan (again, based on the strong reviews naming her/Diana specifically) and am very happy to add my own 5-star review to crowd! Susan was warm, easy-going and didn’t making me feel rushed even after I was late to my appointment (address mix-up). In just over an hour, Susan had completely addressed my horrendous root situation, toned down my brassy highlights and even gave me a proper blow-out/flat iron curl! The salon itself is a chic yet comfortable space, they use quality products and tools (Aveda, Goldwell, Matrix, Dyson etc) and are surprisingly well-priced given the calibre and West Van address. All-in-all, I am almost glad that my old hairstylist left because I think I have traded up now! Thank you Hairology!

They're miracle workers! When I arrived my hair had been badly abused by a couple of hairdressers who clearly didn't understand my hair. The colour was waaaay off & the health & texture was a mess! I absolutely love this Salon!! My hair was so damaged from heat and dyeing in the past and Suzi has made it so healthy and silky smooth while also giving me the exact colours I’ve asked for. Aside from the amazing colour correction and technique she also always offers up her knowledge about the newest research on hair treatments and really teaches you how to best treat your hair at home. It’s really just a great overall experience and the staff is just so sweet and caring. I HIGHLLLYY recommend this place (I commute about an hour just to go here!! yes, it’s THAT good).

I went in with very high hopes because of all of the positive reviews. I was very clear about what I wanted and that was dismissed and ignored. I was also expecting them to use Aveda products (which is why I chose this salon) but they used very perfumey, generic products instead. I was charged 330 for "almost full highlights" and a haircut. The haircut was very fast, extremely unflattering, not at all what I wanted. Long pieces were missed in the back, it has no shape and I wanted it much shorter, but she wouldn't take off more than one inch. The highlights are also not what I asked for and there are only a few, very poorly placed highlights. Many are underneath my very thick hair where no-one will see them. There is one random highlight on the back of my head that starts half way down and the rest of the entire back has none. The toner didn't even make it onto a lot of the highlights. This took 4 hours. I found her rude and very rough. A large amount of toner was spilled on the armrest and got under the cape and onto my arm. She seemed very inconvenienced to clean it up and get me a new cape. I got a rash on my neck because after she cleaned it up she didn't replace the towel so the wet toner hair was resting on my neck. I asked her politely to wash it off and she said she couldn't until later so it stayed on my neck burning. A few minutes later she rubbed it with a dry towel. Overall it was the worst experience I've had at a salon and the most expensive. I got my hair done for an event and I will be wearing a ponytail for the next six months to hide this overpriced fail. In response to the owner: Come back for more of this treatment? No thanks!

I got my hair done here a couple of days ago and I am super happy with it. I was super nervous as it was the first time I was colouring my hair. I wanted something really natural which is kind of more challenging to achieve. Susan did balayage and a haircut (her recommendation) on my hair. She is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about her clients which is evident in her amazing work and recommendations. I really feel sad when I remember the day I decided to highlight my hair in this salon. At first, she just told me she had to test my hair type so by any chance it did not get damaged. But finally, she bleached my hair and damaged it in a way that she had to cut my hair for 10 cm even though I had told her that I don't like short hair. The day after when I went to take a shower I realized my hair was stretching and crushing when I was trying to touch it. So I contacted her and explained everything but she told me your hair was fine whenever you were leaving the salon and she did not accept that she damaged my hair. So after this disaster in the hair salon, I had to deal with lots of treatments and repairs to recover my hair and I went through several hair cuts again and this cost me lots of money and the worse part was my bad morale during this period. I am really sad about her behaviour and the way she talked to me. I was really expecting a simple apology...
