Great Salon and Spa but very costly

Beautiful place but honestly I had a bit of a bad experience... I bite my nails and had made an Appt for fake nails. The woman said she couldnt put them on because they were too short (never had an issue anywhere else) and I was told 60 dollars for the fake nails. So she just trimmed and painted them but I was STILL charged the 60 dollars.. And it's great that it's a vegan company but honestly the. Nail polish lasted a few days..... Came off in one big chunk off each nail like 3 to 5 days after and normal nail polish lasts much longer. I won't be back for nails but I will be going back to try other therapies.

I very recently had my hair done by Emma at Palazzo and I just absolutely had to post a review. Emma spent hours planning for my visit - which was for a cut and a challenging colour treatment. She consulted with me prior to my appointment to be sure of what my dream was for my hair. She went above and beyond my expectations- and once I arrived that continued. She was exceptionally personable and made me feel relaxed and confident. I could tell by her professional and skilled approach that I was going to be thrilled when she was done - and I certainly was! Amazing from the moment I entered the front door. Incredible reception from all the staff, truly made me feel welcomed. The decor is simple and tasteful, the atmosphere is bustling but not noisy, and most importantly the place was presentable, and clean. My hairstylist, Hilary, was with a client but still acknowledged me and hustled up a fresh brewed coffee while I waited. Although just a wash and cut, I was treated with care and attentiveness. I received the best head massage EVER! The shampoo treatment was phantasmagorical! My only trouble (not really) is the only magazine, with haircut ideas for males, was preferential to hipsters. The hairdos in it will soon be remembered like 80's hairband mullets . Thank goodness for Hilary. Her sharp eye and sorcery with scissors laid my mind at ease. She gave me a fashionable but not over the top cut I was proud to wear. All in all I walked out of Palazzo feeling confident, and a little spoiled...amazing staff, I will be back again!

Tiffany rocks! It was my first time in a long time going to a salon for a haircut. It's a nerve wracking experience for me because I've had some pretty bad salon experiences in the past. Being a guy, sometimes a salon is an intimidating place, but not here! The atmosphere at Palazzo is relaxing and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I have Tiffany a rough idea what I was looking to get done. She asked lots of questions to make sure I was cool with what she was doing and we had some great small talk. I left feeling and looking great (and a whole lot lighter lol)! I definitely would recommend Palazzo to anyone looking for an upscale salon with reasonable prices, especially in Downtown Welland! I was looking for a hair stylist to do an up do for my elopement wedding. I was not familiar with any salons as I had recently moved to Niagara. My colleague suggested i visit Palazzo Salon. I had my consultation with Sam. During my consultation, she did a sample of what it would look like and i absolutely loved it. Ok y’all need to check this place out, seriously. Everyone is so kind, it’s got a wonderful vibe when you walk in, clean, spacious, and I had no problem finding parking. The cost of my appointment was extremely fair and all the costs were laid out before we even started - my quote was accurate and reflected on all the hard work my stylist went through to transform my hair. I had the pleasure of having Sam do my hair, and it was more than a pleasure. She is amazing, personable and extremely realistic and down to earth. You can talk to her about anything and it’s a complete judge free zone. I changed my mind a few times and she was easy to work with when it came to my hair goals and her comfort level of not completely destroying my hair. She’s patient, takes her time and is very gentle! Also Jay who works at the front desk has awesome brows and is super gorgeous! ???????????? I have already booked my next appointment.

I had my cut and colour done, had to go back and have it re cut because it was awful, and let's just say I went to my regular hair dresser 3 days ago and she couldn't believe how bad the colour was, she said I barely got half a head of foils and it was blotchy. She had to fix and redo it, and Now I get compliments on my hair.... The girl 2 doors down just went to the same girl and her hair looks just as bad as mine, she left grey in her hair and did pretty bad foils.... Will not recommend this place, I have been recommending people don't go here..... I've never had to tell a hair dress to get a brush away from my head before, I left with extreme anxiety!!!!

I'm curious as to where my original review went as to why I decided to leave my scheduled booked appointment? Thank you for the offer to be there for my future beauty needs, but unfortunately I can not justify paying more than my car payment for your services. I booked services according your your online price list, assuming the prices would be at the high end of your price estimates since my hair was long. My quote from your stylist was double what your prices were online at their highest price point and did not include tax or tip after. So yes, I felt your salon misrepresented itself. Had I known upfront my hair would have cost more than my mortgage payment, I wouldn't have booked an appointment, gotten a babysitter and drove to your salon in the first place .

They do a great job at what they do!! Its not overly priced like a few of the other places I looked at before finding this spa. I love that they are a vegan company with plant based products!! Had been going here for almost 10 years. Most of the staff are great. Kristen and previously Megan would cut and color my hair and ALWAYS did a great job. The products on display are great and they will always help recommending something. I gave it only four stars because a few of the staff members decided to gossip about something personal that I had opened up about and shared with my regular sugaring girl, with whom I had been going to for many years. Not cool.

For the last 6 years I have been going to Palazzo, every time I leave I am extremely satisfied. Laurie consistently delivers the best blonde colour. Not only does she make sure I have the best colour for me but she always recommends styles that suit me. She listens to what my concerns are and tells me what is and what is not achievable. I have also been to the spa under Laurie's recommendation and the aestheticians (Jaelle or Stefanie) have been amazing. My hair and skin has never been better!
