He is great at his job and has always done what he knows is best for my hair and my routine and will always have a quick consultation and give recommendations. He really cares about his clients and getting my hair cut feels like hanging out with a friend - I highly recommend him. His colleagues are always friendly as well and the service there is top notch!

I Went in yesterday to get my hair trimmed and conditioned. I have mild alopecia (temporary bald spots) which i am very self conscious and sensitive about. I had my appointment with Kyle, who was so nice about everything and made me feel very comfortable which I appreciate so much!! My hair looks and feels amazing, and he even took pictures which made me so happy. Definitely will recommend to all my friends ????

Took my kid here for a haircut as he has thick straight hair. He received an amazing haircut by Sae. The salon itself is beautiful, all the staff there were very friendly and Sae was super sweet with my 8 year old. It was the best haircut he has ever had. Would happily come back here.

Lots of my students who are new to vancouver ask me if there are any good hairdressers here. I always tell them there is only one and this is it. These are real hairdressers who have finished their years of official schooling and training and the quality is far beyond any other salon you could find around here. Also, compared to the amateurs who just did a one month course and got a certification, they aren't even more expensive.

They are just money-oriented - they don't really serve unless you have other hair treatment and not just a simple haircut. You can get real service with the same skills but with a lower price at other Japanese hair salons.

I called to book an appointment for haircut and they advised me that there is $15 covid fee on the top of already expensive haircut. I’ve been getting haircut here last 2 years but I feel its time to find a place without covid fee or at least reasonable fee.

I've been going here for several years to have my haircut, and highly recommend Akane. For years she has taken my requests, such as, "I'd like to look professional for an upcoming presentation/interview/event" or "I'd like a haircut that will make me go faster in my next bike/running race", and making me look way more handsome than I'd thought possible, given the canvas that she's working with. The rest of the staff are always hyper polite and helpful, and just a generally great place.
