I had an appointment with Julie and she came earlier than the official business hour so that I can get perm before I leave. She was super sweet and professional. I also liked how she made me feel comfortable to work on my stuff while getting my hair done (we also had fun chatting). I really enjoyed the entire process and really liked how she was so caring. She also provided me with lots of good tips for taking care of my hair and scalp. Would definitely recommend her!

I just started going to Forme this month, but I have been seeing Kei for a few months at a different salon. It's a bit of a trek for me, but I followed him here because his talent understanding of Asian hair is worth it! I am happy with everything he's done; he's fixed my hair on so many levels. I've worked with yen for almost 10 years and he's never let me down. 100/10 would recommend! He also does amazing things with color with a lot less product that I expect with the colors I usually do. If you need a color done. He can achieve it.

First off I'd like to mention how amazing Wil is. If you need a haircut, colour, or whatever service, he is definitely the guy to go to. With his amazing personality, not only will you have some gooood hair, you'll also have a fantastic experience. The salon space is spacious, modern and has a minimalistic style to it. As well, they offer high end Korean and Italian brands which is a plus!

She doesn’t only apply the color on you - she considers the maintenance (how fast will the color fade + what you need to do), sustainability of the color (how will the color fade into), how would the color look like indoor/outdoor, how much damage will the color do to your hair... she’s there to find the best option for you!

I’ve followed Wil through two salons at three locations now, and he is genuinely one of the best stylists! He is extremely knowledgeable, and can answer any question you have on hair care and styling. He thinks longterm for your hair — no sacrifices to the integrity of hair for achieving a short-time style, and caters his cuts based on your hair care habits (I am horribly lazy with styling and he helps tailor my cuts knowing this). Wil is also such a joy to chat with! FORME is also a very responsible salon. They take their cleaning protocols very seriously, and ensure the customer is comfortable. I will be coming back!

I've gone to Julie for a hair cut, treatment, full colour, & ombre/balayage and I intend on continuing to see her for my hair needs. I even followed Julie from a different salon to Forme just because I've found her to be very knowledgeable and genuinely kind. I'm one of those clients who has a rough idea with what they'd like done, but lacks the imagination to determine whether a haircut/colour that I see in a picture is one that will suit me. I also show up with 5 different photos of hair cuts/colours that are all slightly (and sometimes wildly) different with the hopes that someone with vision can put something together that looks good with my hair type, complexion, face shape, etc. Julie is great at listening to what you want and will always ask questions to get a better sense of what you'd like to see now and how you'd prefer your hair cut/colour to grow out. Needless to say, I'm a fan and always leave super happy, excited, and informed on how to best maintain and care for my hair & new 'do. I think she really knows her stuff, is an excellent communicator, and I have no reservations wholeheartedly recommending her to friends and family alike. I suppose the only (selfish) hesitation I have in doing so, is my fear that she'll be too booked up to schedule me in for my next appointment, haha.

I want to share some of my feeling abt this salon and their barber, my barber was fine, and his skill are fine, while there was 2 Janpanese besides me, the barber and costomer, they had talked in Janpanese very loudly and laughed noisy for almost 3 hours, the topic was about being Janpanese can be easily recognised, their passport so good, their children are so cute...blah,,,,I dont want join in but I cannot avoid it,,,, espeicaly the barber voice seems louder,,,,I thought it might be his way of treat costomer, so I decide in patient. However, when the next one is foreighner, he changed, and no chat at all, very quite..idk wheteher he used different way to treat foreigners customers,,,,,...but imo, if you are foreigner, you'd better think twice abt this salon :(....

My mom and I went to Harry for haircut. He is amazing! We have been following him from Richmond to Yaletown. The salon is clean, roomy andfull of sunshine even in the cloudy fall weather. I find the products they carry are also high quality. The washroom and hand soap are all great quality products , thanks for that! The hair cut is very good with Harry as always. He listens to you with full attention and understand what the customer wants before beginning the process. My mom did a hair treatment with him and it feels amazing. Her hair is shiny and volumized. Even though now we need to travel longer distance to see Harry, we think it's still worth it. Parking is convenient , with 1 dollar/ hour , very affordable in Yaletown. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and good to hang around. Overall, 5/5, thank you Forme and Harry for your expertise and service!!!!

Kei is a very experienced hairstylist!! I found him on IG and I definitely recommend!!!???????? I have only gotten 2 haircuts from him but wow did both times amaze me. Booked an appointment with Julie after looking through her IG account and I’m so glad I did. I had been colouring my own hair at home using box dyes for many years and was finally ready to get it done professionally. Julie was so sweet and patient from beginning to end (it was a 6hr long appointment!) You can tell that she definitely knows what she’s doing. She was very thorough and clear, from the initial consultation to the end when I had many questions about how to take care of my hair and scalp. She genuinely tried to understand what i was hoping to achieve and took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns. Not only is she very knowledgeable but she is very polite and genuine as well. Most importantly, my hair looks amazing, from cut to colour! Also, it’s worth mentioning that the price was actually lower than what I’ve spent in the past, and with much better results!
