I went and saw Neda a year ago for microblading and she was amazing. Neda is very kind, precise and will not let you leave unless you like what you see when it comes to your brows! She explains everything and even tells you at the moment when she's about to start something. She makes sure your comfortable at all times and will make sure you don't feel a thing during the microblading process. I recently went and got my one year touch up and same experience all over. It's always welcoming to go to Michael's. If you want amazing microbladed, combination or powder brows go to Michael's and see Neda!!
I highly recomend Gracies gentle touch with her magical fingers when she does a shampoo or rinse. Very relaxing. Staff is very excellent halpful and polite. They are very good at accommodating my busy schedule. Pina is my go to gal for cuts and color. She has done amazing things with my hair as I have transitioned from short to long hair. The spa has been a good experience as well I love the parfin manicures :)

I've had manucures and pedi's, cuts and colours, and even massages. I have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. I love the staff and have always had great service. I recieve many compliments on my hair due to the fabulous cuts and colours from Pina. Betty is great too. I recommend Michaels to all my friends when they ask where I get my hair done. I have been having my hair coloured here for 6 years, always professional, and although sometimes they are running later I find the customer service quite good. Recently I have been treating myself to facials and back scrubs with Stephanie and those have been truly amazing, although the only thing is I wish they had a chair to sit in to do the facial rather than lying down...people with back issues should have a choice.

It really is terrible service and if I didn't have a gift card I wouldn't be going back. My first experience I got my underarms waxed & the woman doesn't know what the heck she's doing. Her name is Riley & she waxed the same underarm, in the same spot 5x. My underarms burned & I had several painful, ingrown hairs. I've been waxed before & never had a problem. The second time I requested someone else . She was much better & took much better care, my underarms were great, I believe her name was Nada. However, the second time I waited a half an hour for my appointment, & I got there 10 minutes early, I didn't get in until 9:30 when my appointment was at 9. No big deal, but they didn't even apologize to me for making me wait, or at least even let me know, they just made me sit there without a word. Customer service = sub par. The pedicure I got there was also sub par - they hardly scrub the feet at all & the pedicure French tips looked like a kid did them.

Very professional, very friendly and well educated staff. It also has one of the best colourists ever (shout out to Michelle). It smells amazing, always clean, even in the winter months. Everyone is extremely kind and welcoming and it honestly just feels like a second home. I suffer from a very bad anxiety disorder, and social anxiety, and not once have I felt overwhelmed.

I went for a 45 min massage which could have been better. Had to keep redirecting her to my issue spots. I am totally going to try again when I dont have issue spots and repost how it was

I had my first experience with a hair stylist over the weekend, and I will not be returning. Not because of her work, but the organization of whoever schedules appointments. I originally called a month and a half prior and made an appointment with a specific stylist that I wanted to start going to, so was willing to wait. A week before my appointment Michael’s called me and said they had to switch me to a different hair dresser because the one I wanted to see was out of town. They assured me the other stylist did similar work as the girl I wanted to see. I showed up for my appointment and was informed I was switched to a different hair dresser, again. If I had known I would have cancelled my appointment but felt pressured as no one told me until I showed up. My appointment ended up being over 4 hours long for something that typically takes only 2 hours, I didn’t get what I wanted, and the girl I originally wanted the appointment with was THERE working. Overall it put a very sour taste in my mouth and I will not be returning.

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. They keep up to date with all the latest trends and techniques. Michael always comes up with something fresh and interesting to do with my hair. Color and style, he's rates high marks on both.
Went to the shop on my lunch to buy a gift card. Person at the counter said I would have to come back in 30 minutes! Went to PURE spa where they sold me a card for mani/pedi & massage no problem. Sorry Michael's, why not invest in training your staff so they have the ability to serve customers?

I had a perm on January 20th the next day there was barely a wave I called and told them on January 23rd they told me that the hairdresser would call me back waited until February 7th and called back again and was told the same thing still never heard from anyone If there was nothing they were going to do they could have at least had the courtesy to return my calls and let me know I had taken a floater came from out of town and spent $140 and no one could tell I had anything done Not impressed
so i got my hair coloured and my hair is now falling out from the roots! it’s coming out in small chunks and this never happened until i got my hair dyed here. my hair is much thinner and damaged. only good thing i’m to say is that the workers are nice
I had a mothers package, pedicure, massage, and shampoo/style, I added colour and highlights. I've never had a massage but she ended up doing a deep tissue massage I guess, I was bruised and sore for days. The pedicure was good, but the hair was bad. I wanted to go light blond with a few highlights but all she did was add colour that didn't lighten my hair very much at all and she tried to do ambre look that just looked like roots growing out. I called the owner who said he would fix it but couldn't do it for many days, I wanted it done for the weekend. He wouldn't give me any refund back at all, "that's not how he does business." I went somewhere else that fixed it right away and charged me only for the product not labour.

Going to Michaels was a very good experience. The level of professionalism is excellent as well as the high standards for covid protection. I have been going to Betty at Michaels for eight years and have never been disappointed.
I had the misfortune to have my hair done by a "stylist" named Mandy. Worst ever. She butchered my hair beyond repair. When I asked that she try to redo certain areas to try and make it look better she was extremely rude. I will never, never, never set foot in this place again. I don't care if the next closest place is Toronto I would rather go there than visit this place again. Maybe they should be more careful about who they hire. Rude hairdressers who don't care about customer satisfaction, are more worried about socializing between themselves and this Mandy actually stopped TWICE during my appointment to text. I had to give one star to review really they deserve less than none.
I work in healthcare, needless to say stressful times. Thought I would use some of that very hard earned money for some self are. I was also looking for a new spa to go to, a lot of estheticians I used to go to have moved or gone back to school. I called to book the appointment a little while ago. When I called (10 minutes before closing) the woman said she already shut everything down and so she would have to call me the next morning. No problem. She called the next morning advised that The Temptation package which came with a lunch would have to be a take away meal as they can't serve food during COVID. No problem. The day before my almost full day spa package I receive a call asking if I can come in an hour earlier (so 9:30 am instead of 10:30 am on my day off) as another customer wants to get in to see one of the women who is doing my treatment. No problem. I arrive 10 minutes early. Chilly reception by front desk woman whose voice I recognize as the person I called who said they couldn't book my appointment and they would have to call me back. I had the message...fantastic. The facial...left under steamer for 7 and then laid with mask for 20 minutes. Other spas while you are laying there all that time give you a foot, hand, and/or scalp massage. This was not the fault of the esthetician...it appeared how they do the service. Had different woman for the mani/pedi. Very friendly. Both of the esthticians were lovely and good at what they did. I asked about the lunch and they came back and said no lunch but they would remove cost from bill. Came back to front desk woman to settle up. Even though the facial wasn't the best I had everything else was lovely and thought I would book again in 6 weeks. I was given the total of $327. So not only was lunch not taken off it appeared I was charged more for something. I wasn't told what that was. No problem. I was surprised when it didn't take tip...I said "oh no place for tip"? A harsh reply "no it doesn't take tips we only take cash...there is a bank machine right there". Heavy sigh...no problem. I take out $60 for tip (bank machine at the entrance charged $1.82 for me to tip)...her abruptness should not impact the estheticians. I come back with the tip and she asks if I "want it split between the 2 women". I say "yes" and I that "I have two questions for her". (I'm now starting to think if I really want to come back because of her attitude.) She clearly has not heard me or wants me gone. She starts moving papers around and I'm just standing there. You know when it's obvious someone is trying to ignore you...this was that moment...she finally looks up with the 'what do you want now look' and says "Yes?" Okay now we have a problem. My sweet voice and calm manner are gone with...my tone moves to boss mode and I say "I said I have 2 questions". I ended up only asking one (it was a gift certificate someone was to have left for me there...they forgot...told them please for somewhere else. She was rude from the very first phone call. I spent $400 today and was ready to rebook. She didn't even ask me if I wanted to reschedule. Fortunately Michael has an excellent reputation so she won't single handedly ruin his business but unfortunately I will definitely not be going back. It totally ruined the $400 de-stressing experience I wanted from these busy, challenging times ????.
