I have been a client of Grotto's for many, many years, and have yet to have a disappointing experience there. The staff are super friendly, professional, and great at what they do! The space is bright, clean, and inviting. I don't have a lot of hair (seems to be less and more gray every year!), but every experience I have with Grotto is a great one and leaves my hair looking as great as possible! When I first moved to Stratford I was looking for haircut and I decided to give Grotto a try. I loved the atmosphere and the knowledgeable staff and welcoming spirit of the salon. I was so appreciative of their suggestions and grateful that they were not pushy on making the sale of their outstanding products. Grotto is truly one of the best salons Stratford, Ontario has to offer. It is home to the most dreamy spaces with bright windows, a modern feel while still maintaining the buildings overall charm. The level of training and expertise the stylists have and maintain is exceptional and they go above and beyond. Your overall experience at Grotto whether you are going for a service or simply shopping for products online or in their boutique store you will be treated wonderfully. The bonus samples and treats aren’t so bad as well!

Grotto carries the Kerastase line & since trying these products I will never go back to the drugstore brands. Some of my favourite products include the scrub apaisant, Cicanuit overnight serum, fresh affair dry shampoo & Blond Absolu. I have been using the Genesis shampoo and conditioner for the past 6 months and I have noticed a huge difference in my hair. They know their product inside and out because they have tested it and and only carry the best that has passed their standards. Their packages are so tastefully put together with a personalized note, chocolate and some sample products which I adore. It is such a treat opening up their packages. I started coming to Grotto about 12 years ago. I was in search of a salon in Stratford that I could use for myself, my mother, my grandmother, and my wedding party the morning of my wedding. These wonderful ladies (Leah Anne & Jessica in particular) took such great care of us all and made us feel at home. Their inviting nature and their talent for hair has brought me back over the years. I do not live close to Stratford, but I will still make the 40min drive just to come and be pampered and get that professional look that I love. It doesn’t matter if there are weeks or months between visits, the atmosphere is always the same and it feels just like a friendship that picks up where it last left off.
