Have yet to find a place that offers a good haircut by a professional hairdresser. I was fortunate to have the same professional cutting my hair over twenty years who took the time and care, over 30 to 45 minutes, to ensure the cut was done carefully and completely. That was not offered on this particular visit ... I smiled, paid the bill, and will not return.

Until I found this gem while traveling for work I used to go get my hair done whenever I could find time and this was one of those places I stopped in on one morning between work appointments to see if I could get done in the evening, and I was lucky to be squeezed in. You're greeted immediately, they give you a robe to prevent colour transfer to your clothes, they offer coffee or tea or water as refreshment and have snacks on hand too. I love my colourist, she does a fantastic job and the one time I had an issue with my colour, she made sure to fix it & that has won my loyalty! They also have a nail salon right next door so it is your one stop beauty shop!! Love it!

Sometimes good service but just not consistent. Also recently learned via staff that the salon owner does not treat Aestheticians very well, and sees them as being less important than the hair stylists - one wanted one evening a week off to pick her three year old up from daycare, but she was not permitted to do so, and so I will probably take my business elsewhere from now one.

Not sure how to say this but I didn’t think the customer service was great enough. The girl who did my nails was not engaging enough in conversations and the customer service personnel at the point of payment was not friendly. The height was when I asked to leave with the nail file that was used to do my gel nails and the lady responded that it was company policy to keep the nail files which will be used when next I show up????and I am thinking even if it’s after one year?????by and large I wasn’t impressed tbh. Bdw it was my first time going there

I had an amazing haircut here in May, was very pleased.... that stylist was busy so I took an open slot but then had the worst haircut ever. No understanding of shape at all. Pick your stylists carefully!

The hair stylist was very nice, but gave me a men's hair cut which would look fine if I were a man, but I'm not, and then proceeded to charge me the women's haircut price. A) Why have 2 separate prices based on gender. B) Now I look like a dude.

As soon as you walk in your greeted with a smile from the staff at the desk. The atmosphere there is awesome. My hairstylist was wonderful, none of the usual gabbing to the hairstylist next to her etc like I have experienced alot of in other salons. She really understood what I wanted in my cut and color, she offered me something to drink or a snack and I was able to use wifi while my hair color was on. I have bounced around from salon to salon for YEARS never completely happy with the service I had recieved. I will keep going back to the signature salon definitely, I couldnt ask for better!.

This is my usual salon and i normally get great service, but after my most recent visit I wont be returning. My hair turned out nothing like my reference photo and is completely uneven (at least half an inch longer on the left side) and my bangs are too short and also uneven. When i asked my stylist to make some changes so it would at least be closer to the hair length i had requested, she became visibly frustrated. I requested wash, cut, and style, and there wasnt even enough time for the stylist to style my hair as i had booked. After this awful experience i still had to pay $40 (without tip) just to leave the salon looking like an egg. Never letting them touch my hair again and i recommend nobody else does either. To add to this, i had recently recommended the salon to a friend and his hair also came out nothing like his request/reference photo. AVOID THIS SALON!

As a newer resident to St. John's, I was hesitant about getting my hair done somewhere away from my normal hairdresser. The ladies at Hair Solutions were very sweet and accommodating. They made sure to ask exactly what I wanted and offered professional service. I was VERY satisfied with the results and the prices! I will definitely be going back there for my next appointment!

Today I went to Signature Salon for the first time. I have an asymmetrical short hair cut that has been growing out because I no longer want to go to my current hair dresser because I pay an outrageous amount for such a small cut. I had a consultation with a hair dresser who cut my bang and trimmed parts of the front of my hair at no cost to me. With that simple trim to the front of my hair, it looked like a completely new style. I will be making my next appointment there to get a new, up to date short hair style in the near future. The staff was phenomenal and really listened to my concerns. I would recommend anyone to try out Signature Salon.

My fiance got some work done there she did not like the work but she did like how it was done she didn't like the treatment she got but she liked it at the same time she gave me mixed messages I paid for it I also went and told her that the experience when I never been for her she probably just one so I do recommend it to support a small business or if you don't want to do it for yourself bring your daughter if granddaughters your aunts kids your uncle's kids anybody's kids that will help a nice piece of art done on a fingernails or just want a nice time out with their girls

My last experience with this salon(November 2021)left me disappointed. I went in to get hair color and cut, the cut was good, the color wasn't what I wanted. I wanted blonde(or even just a dark blonde) with shadow root . And it looked okay after especially with the bright lights and the way she had it styled. After I left the salon I noticed how unhappy I was. I definitely take responsibility for not saying anything at the time I really should have. It's just looks like poorly done highlight there's three or four different colors going on , dark brown, blonde, orange and white almost silver in some spots.. also she was extremely rough with my hair she wasn't gentle I could feel my hair being ripped out during brushing styling and washing. i was also told in consultation it would be 200 and it actually came to $300 .. I definitely could have done a better job at home for $300. I sincerely regret going there and was the biggest waste of 300 .. be careful when you go here make sure you expect the price to be much higher then your initially told and be extremely specific about what you want, if you don't like it tell them right away! Don't make the same mistakes I did... I'll never be returning to this salon for color ???? I'm also purposely not saying stylists name because like I said I should have said something at the time or went back the next day to explain and I didn't so that's on me .

I had perms at Signature salon, unfortunately I’m not satisfied, my hair burnt! Then 2 hours later, the bottom of my hair became straight specially at the back! I went back after 5 days to get fix but yes... they can’t do anything! The girl trimmed, cut all the burnt and cut all the straight hair!!! Hahaha for $230.00, I don’t think you did a great job girl! No discount for ruining my hair... perms but lotssss or straight hair! I don’t recommend this place for perm!
