Went for a haircut and wash with Henry this afternoon through online booking and asked for a fade. First impressions is that the place looks super clean and has a nice layout. Henry is a super chill guy and I was more than satisfied with the fade I asked for. The place is very new, wish the place had more exposure to let others know around the area that the prices for this place is reasonable. 5/5 Will definitely go back to this place for a haircut in the future. Glad I found a new haircut spot after moving to morningside/meadowvale area a month later.

My first time in this salon. Staffs were nice. It was just hard to explain something you want for your hair if the one whom you are talking with doesn’t get it. I can’t even understand what the lady was saying but she’s nice. It turned my highlights into bluish which I did not ask for. Hair color (base) was not even too. For the price I paid, I can go to a better salon.

Booked my appointment after seeing good reviews. It was my first time at this hair studio. My experience was amazing! Overall the place is very clean and has a nice vibe to it. The staff is very welcoming. I booked my haircut with William who was amazing! He took his time with my haircut and it turned out exactly how I wanted. He was very knowledgeable and gave me his in input when I asked. During the cut he made conversation which is always a plus. This was the first hair cut I had in 2 years (covid) and I’m glad I chose this studio! I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Highly recommend ????????????

Made a walk-in appointment for a women's haircut based off someone's recommendation that knew a stylist there. I initially had long hair and was going shorter, and just wanted a long bob straight cut. I came out with a cut shorter than I wanted because the stylist didn't take into consideration that my hair would dry shorter since I have wavy hair - even though I mentioned it - and my hair was layered unevenly since he didn't cut along my natural part. I was so disappointed with how it turned out, I had to go to another salon to get my hair corrected. Would not recommend and will never go back.

Edited: The owner reached out to me after this incident, giving 5 stars now as I greatly appreciate businesses that actually care. This place is advertising the wrong hours and also does not pay attention to online bookings as mentioned on their website. Made a booking for Sunday today @6 pm but turns out they are closed, however their online site and google hours advertise the opposite. It’s unprofessional to advertise inaccurate information, please fix... because travelling an hour commute to find it closed just creates frustrated customers. Young trend right ...? should know how to use online business tools properly. Not hard to update hours and block reservation slots on website.

Professional services, flexible schedule, nice environment. You can now book through their website, or if you prefer a specific hairstylist you can add their social media. The waiting time usually very short if you have an appointment; for walk-in customers might wait a bit longer. They also offer free water and board games. They recently opened a new store at midland/finch, make sure you booked for the right location.

I went in on a Sunday. They were not busy and took me in right away. I told my stylist that my hair was falling out and that it was already thin, so I wanted to thicken it by cutting the thin ends. He cut it at a good length, but he kept on thinning it with the thinning scissors. I tried to ask for him to simply make the sharp cuts look more natural, and he kept thinning. I'm not a picky person, so I didn't complain. I thanked them, paid and left, but I'm not sure I would go back as it was hard for him to understand my explanations. Still, they are nice stylists and the salon is new and well-kept.

I was in there for the first time last friday, March 06/2020. For a man's trim and wash. The lady who cut my hair was a young Asian lady named Carol, (think that's her name). She did an amazing job, washed my hair twice, made me feel welcome, truely went out of her way to make my first experience there as nice as possible, which she certainly did. I'm looking forward to my next visit there.

Great atmosphere, the barbers are very nice, and my cut is always good. Henry (the owner) is usually the one to do my hair and I've never left dissatisfied. I think the price are fair. I tend to pay $30 every visit for a pre-wash, cut, and post-wash/style. (and a tip). I definitely recommend this place especially if you are a student at UTSC and/or would prefer to speak mandarin, as they can do that too.

I knew I had to write review. This lady cut my hair and she was so professional. I showed her 2 pictures and she recommended me the one that fit my head structure. She was amazing and worked around things I asked if could make this part shorter and etc. She did high fade and the detail is really amazing around my head. Give her chance 5/5 for haircut.

Went to this place for my gf seeing good reviews but she was really disappointed never been to a place that first straightens the hair and then cuts it knowing that her hair is curly, he did not even put any heat protection serum before using the straightner..the ends are uneven. However the place is neat and the staff is friendly but poor service.

I came to this salon because it has 5 stars. I asked the hair dresser "Henry" to give me a chocolate brown balyage like the one in the photo.I got a copper mess and he damaged my curl patterns. They have no knowledge with textured hair at all and even asked me why I don't have a Japanese hair perm done ?? Me and my mom came here together for a haircut and colour and he completely forgot my mom wanted a haircut, he was very hesitant to cut her hair the way she wanted it, I basically had to force him to give her bangs and layers that she wanted. I am feeling terrible and I hate my hair so much. They say they have experience with textured hair but they don't, my hair isn't even the curliest but it was way too difficult for them to handle. Me and my mom were there from 11am to 5pm and it was horrible. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. 420$ down the drain ????

It's me and my friend's first time here. We saw all the good reviews and decide to try it. I have a major trauma going to hair salons cause i just never get the haircut i like. No one can cut my hair but Henry now! We're so lucky to have found this place! 2nd visit: I had such a good haircut here during my first visit i was really excited to come back and get the same haircut i got last time (layered with bangs) after the lockdown. I told my stylist that I will get the japanese perm soon but for now i just want the haircut but he didnt want to give it to me since he said he'll just give me that haircut when i get the perm because my hair is curly and it wont work (btw, my hair is curly the first time i came, i didnt really care if my hair is curly cause i usually style it anyway) so he just cut my hair the way he wanted, turned on the flat iron, it didnt look like it was hot enough because it wasnt straightening my hair. i left the salon wanting to cry! i had a bad haircut and frizzy hair since it wasnt really styled with a hot tool. a group of guys walked in the salon so that's probably why he rushed to send me away 3rd visit: I finally got a perm. I did notify them that i want the haircut that i couldnt get before because they said my hair isnt straight. Since im getting the Japanese sraight perm from them might as well get the haircut i want. the perm was really good! no complains and it's cheap so even better but when i was finally asking for my haircut the stylist said he couldnt do it because of my part. Like seriously I just want the haircut I got the 1st time. they were able to do it before why cant they do it now I just keep hearing excuses. my friend that i came here with the first time is so scared to come back because i was telling her about what happened to me here I will visit again one more time, Im really hoping that this could be the salon that will always go to, but honestly if I get a bad experience with them again I will start looking for a new one

My friend and I walked in to ask for a price, but the way we got treated was uninviting. Their customer service was very poor. They told us to take a seat, but still didn't come to address our question. We walked over to the desk, but they were not even communicating with us properly. It seemed like they didn't want to take us & they acted like we were bothering them. They had a promotion, but told us a different price that was double. We wanted to support the business because they are in our neighborhood. It seems like they are biased towards other background.

I've been getting a hair cut in here for over a year and I'm always pleased with the results. I see there are few negative reviews in here, which I don't agree with. There are only few stylists in there, so you can end up waiting over an hour if its too busy or only one of them works. So make an appointment before you come; and once inside, let them know you've made reservations. Don't just wait, expecting them to call your name. This is especially important on weekday afternoons and on weekends.

The owner and his team provide professional and nice services , They really know what you need, and select different haircut / perm/colouring/ hair treatment to meet your requirements according to your hairstyle, face, and skin. First off, as soon as you enter the salon, you are impressed by the cleanliness and ambiance of the place. The music and aura was ???????????? Immediately after that, you receive the warmth and welcoming atmosphere from staff. So far, so good. When it came to the haircut and style, Henry was attentive and knowledgeable. He knew what I wanted and inputted what he knew would make the cut even better. I trusted his skills and it totally paid off. He styled it off in the end, and I just felt and looked great. During the cut, he didn’t just make it about the cut. He also conversed with myself and my friend which made our visit here tonight that much more enjoyable - you can always tell when a business cares about their customers. Happily and definitely worth travelling two hours just to get here. I highly recommend ????????

I had my hair done by Henry and he did an amazing job! Usually my hair feels extra dry and brittle after getting it done but he managed to keep it fairly soft and very shiny! I went from a big transformation of having blonde hair to brown. I was worried about this transition but he helped me choose a colour perfect for my skin tone and cut my hair very well! 10/10 would recommend! Below I have pictures of a before and after!
