Let me first say that the staff at Perms & Cuts are very nice, and the salon had a warm and inviting vibe and seemed to be clean enough. Unfortunately that's where my good opinion of it ends. For about a year now I've been wanting a perm, so I did my due diligence and read reviews of all the different places that do them (a very limited selection I can tell you), and this place had mostly great reviews on Google. I took the plunge and made an appointment. I told them ahead of time that my hair is long and asked if they could do it and the answer was yes they could. The whole process took about 3 hours (I was warned it would). My stylist was really nice and down to earth, but when she started working on my hair she was eating something, and throughout the styling process she kept getting calls on her cell phone (which she answered). These distractions I believe are what contributed to the tragedy that is now my hair. I think she missed putting the perming solution on some bits and too much on others. When it was all rinsed out the curls were pretty loose, not what I wanted or expected. She put me under the dryer to see if that would perk them up a bit. Then she put tons of mousse in, which I think weighed down the curls even more, and said not to wash my hair for a week. After paying a pretty hefty price (time and money) as well as a decent tip, I walked out of there feeling ripped off. But I thought, OK I'll follow her instructions and not wash it for a week and see if after that time getting all the gunk out of it will make it curlier. By the time the week was up my hair felt and looked like a straw broom it was so dry. Washing it helped somewhat but then what I ended up with was a very loose wave at the back, tight curls on the top of my head, and absolutely straight hair at the front on either side. I looked like a deranged poodle. Now, every time I wash my hair (only a couple of times a week and using only sulfate-free conditioner), the curls fall a bit more. I predict that in a months' time it will look like I never got a perm to begin with. My hair looks terrible and I can't wait for it to grow out. I wish I could turn back time so that this never happened.

Friendly and honest staff but for all it’s worth you better take your money and go elsewhere to get your haircut. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness. Coffee and tea are available to you but be prepared because they charge you for a smile. Don’t forget to have 20 dollars extra in your pocket because they do what they have to do in order to get a tip. The unpleasantness was so obvious. I got charged 180.00 for a hair colour!! I wasn’t satisfied with it. They do charge an arm and a leg here. Don’t be fooled by the appearance because they appear to be a small, tiny hair salon in buried in a deep corner. Thick hair, thin hair. They will charge you the same. I have been to it so. Be careful. I have been to planet Jupiter in terms of hair salons in this earth and I would never, ever want to get a haircut from anybody at this place. They suck here and it’s a dirty place. Kind of smelly too.

NOT HAPPY with the perm or the price. They do not honor the special that is on their website (50% off Hilights/perms/color for new clients on Monday or Tuesday). My stylist was very unprofessional and charged $135 for perming my shoulder length hair. I asked for a loose barrel curl perm, and got a tight spiral curl. Staff was friendly enough, but the place wasn't very clean. Will not be returning.

Liz is my go to hair stylist. She's extremely friendly and works magic with color. I've changed my hair from black to a strawberry blonde and then into an ash blonde. My hair always comes out exactly as I imagined with little to no damage. I am always getting compliments on my hair, and I always recommend Liz. I recently went in to have a perm done. Liz listened to all my wants and gave me the most perfect curls, like a Pantene commercial curls. No frizz, shiny and soft curls. Service is excellent here Liz is fantastic and professional but a great conversationalist. I am never bored when I come in. The salon is clean and maintaining all covid regulations. All the stylist are friendly here, it's like a mini family. I always look forward to my next visit. Liz you are the best !

First time going after looking at the reviews. I enjoyed my perm and haircut at this location! Very friendly staff and knowledgeable especially LITA. LITA was the one who permed my hair, and I wanna come back here again for my reperm because she pays such close attention to detail, the results are great. Lita is a very nice woman who knows how to treat her customers. She will style your hair as precise as she can be. She is a perfectionist and you can go to her without a doubt. And she never rushes, even when business is jammed. She styles it perfectly, and obviously I recommend her 100% if you try this place out.

The perming service is at a good price and comes out well, for guys I suggest getting ur perm and going to a another barber for a fade or beard line up cause it's not there specialty but great service recommend it

Poor communication to the point that making an appointment was impossible. I sent an email with some basic questions about perms and costs and received an email back with no info telling me to call in, which I did, the person who answered the call had no idea what I was talking about and after a frustrating call she said she would answer my original email questions and send it back to me. That was 2, almost 3 days ago and there has been no reply even after I sent 2 follow up emails. Ridiculous, unprofessional and I really do not appreciate being jerked around
