It was my first time going to this Salon and it was such an amazing experience. When I arrived all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming, I could feel good vibes about this place immediately. While I was waiting for my appointment with Peter, Ted came over and introduced himself and we started chatting. He is such a nice down to earth guy and talking to him made me feel like I've known him forever. I explained to him my past salon nightmares and told him I am looking for a good hair stylist. He told me I am in good hands and that his son Peter will take care of me. Well let's just say he wasn't lying! Peter is amazing!! He's such a nice easy going, straight up super talented guy. It's not hard to tell he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. The entire time he was working on my hair he explained to me what he was doing and why. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. . I had my granddaughter with me the entire time and she loved it there. Everyone was so nice to her and she loved Jackie and kept wanting to dance and talk to her. Lol If you're looking for a professional salon with talented stylists then this is the place!!! No drama or bad vibes. The team work in this place is incredible and they keep the place shiny clean. I was beyond happy with my experience and Peter did an outstanding job on my hair. Thank you so much Ted, Peter and Jackie for taking good care of me. I will definitely be returning. :)

This place is amazing. How nice is it to walk into a salon where there is zero catty behaviour going on where you walk in you feel like your at home. They do amazing work I go there 3 to 4 times a week. They are spacious and clean. As most of you know they used to be En Vogue but have moved to this location. Im so glad they did. JACKIE and TED are amazing owners and you can tell that they care so much about every client I see Jackie speak to everyone say hi to everyone and take such personal time to make sure everyone is well informed about the products as well as getting exactly what they want. Ted always makes the customers feel great its such a great family atmosphere there. My favourite stylist is calyssa i dont know what i would do without her she is amazing at my curls she does them exactly the way I like. I have also seen terri hes amazing ! I will not ever go anywhere else i followed them from En vogue for a reason !! I noticed a review down below that was negative it didnt make sense well im sure its beacsue other salons may be jealous. But There is no number system.. they never make you wait long. SO that review is ENTIRELY FALSE and has to come from someone who is just trying to bring this place down. They go out of my way to assist me and i was with a family member elderly 81 years old in a wheelchair and Calyssa went out of her way to help her up and sit and wash her hair to make her feel special and to be able to give her that type of service which she normally would not be able to get. Trust me guys go here. I am a cancer survivor my hair is very sensitive.. i would never trust anyone else to touch it at any other salon ever. !!

I was given an extremely poor haircut by Mary on August 2nd. She completely ignored what I asked for, then gave me a haircut so terrible I was genuinely surprised when the owners told me she's been in the industry for years. (I went in with questions regarding long vs. short hair, eventually decided & asked to keep the length but got 9+ inches of hair sloppily cut off before checking with me. Mary paraded about lying to me and tried convincing me I would love it anyway. I truly, truly do not.) The owners were able to communicate and said they took all the action they could to rectify the issue. I truly appreciate all the effort Jackie put in to help me feel good about my hair again. Emily did a good job with my boyfriend's haircut. Seeing the reviews here of Mary along with my experience only shows she's extremely inconsistent at best. This salon is worth a shot, but save yourself any potential headache and book with anyone but Mary.

I went there on Valentine's Day and my whole experience was amazing. Will did my hair. I got exactly what I asked for. My hair was a lot to work with since another salon had messed it up and i hated how it looked before. But Will and Ted did magic. It was a bit expensive but it was totally 100% worth it considering how my hair was before and how it is now. I will be coming back here for all my hair needs from now on! Would give 10 stars if I could!

I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment as requested during re-opening of their salon during COVID-19. I had called a week in advance to schedule an appointment for myself and my aunt who both wear hijabs and was told over the phone, TWICE BY TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE, that our request to have our hair cut by a female stylist in a separate room will be accommodated without question. I was so happy to hear this, it's really hard to find salons that cater to Muslim women's needs. Over the phone, I was told a wash and cut treatment would cost anywhere from $45-55 and I reassured them twice that was the treatment I wanted. When arriving, I waited 30 minutes for my stylist and when she came, she seated me in their open stations even though I had called twice about a separate room. I told her what kind of cut I was looking for and that I didn't want my hair styled (it would cost extra) and only wanted a wash and cut. To arrange for a separate room, that took another 10 minutes. When we got to the hair washing station, the stylist blamed me for water falling onto the floor even though I had indicated I am too short for my neck to rest into the bowl and that the chair should be adjusted. I should also mention I saw the stylists bickering with each other and yelling at each other in front of clients and it looks rather unprofessional. After the stylist cut my hair, she asked if she should dry it and I said sure, don't style it though. She proceeded to blow dry on very hot on my scalp so it was actually burning my scalp and ended up charging me an extra $20 without telling me she was going to style it even when I told her I didn't want it styled. When my aunt went, the stylist styled her hair without asking and that similarly cost her an extra $$. Not to mention, especially during COVID-19, the chair she was placed in still had hair from the previous person all over it. My aunt was also told that I apparently never asked for a separate room even though I confirmed twice with 2 different people over the phone. Clearly, someone was not taking notes or there is a significant lack of communication between the staff. Overall, while I did really like the end result of the haircut itself, the service was terrible and very expensive. I'm honestly surprised this salon has such nice reviews. Will not be coming again. I'm giving 2 stars because the quality of the cut was nice but service was absolutely terrible.

Great place, excellent service and staff! My boyfriend recommended this place to me so I called to get some information. First I spoke to Ted over the phone to have an idea as to what they offer . I got my hair cut and coloured (balayage) by Terry . He’s very friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all he listened to what I wanted and transformed my hair effortlessly. With much research and reading reviews, I decided upon Hair and Co. for my quarantine cut. I looked forward to my appointment. Upon arrival, my temperature was taken and signed off a covid waiver. As I walked inside, the esthetics of the salon is eye catching and vibrant. I waited for my stylist to arrive, once he did, I told him that I was there for wash, cut, and partial highlights. The whole process took longer than I anticipated to be there. I was there from 12-5pm. Not impressed. The first time experience was not what I had hoped for. The end result was good. As I prepare to leave and pay, I was faced with an overpriced amount for services in comparison to what I was quoted. Price gouging at best. To add insult to injury, I was asked by the owner to leave a 5 star review and told what to say. That left me raging with unecessary anger. On top of the fake compliments. This took place a month ago, but to be fair, I did not want to leave an angry review, I wanted to leave an honest one. This does not take away from the fantastic stylists like Cheng and Andy who make you look and feel fabulous. We are all going through this pandemic and trying best to get by I noticed the stylist, and owner trying to figure out blindly what I should be charged as no signage is visible. I almost fainted when the receptionist handed me the terminal to pay. Not impressed once again, and very hesitant to return for a follow up appointment, so much for supporting small businesses.

Darrin was my stylist ... What an amazing job he did! I got a cut & Keratin Treatment ... Very friendly demeanor & gentle in regards to the handle of my hair ... Never felt like he was pulling my hair as he washed, combed, blow dryed & cut it. Great at communicating what he was gonna do at each step of the visit ???? Such a fun & genuine person to talk too, he definitely makes u feel at ease. He also adhered to the Covid precautions but what I appreciated the most was how accommodating he was to stay after hours so that I could get my appt in as I couldn't come any earlier due to work. I’ve been working from home during the first four months of COVID-19 and my hair certainly showed like I had been. I had been called back to work from the office and needed to do something with my hair, I certainly wasn’t going to show up in front of my coworkers with with four months of COVID-19 hair, so I went on line and researched the best hair salon in Scarborough and Hair & Co kept coming up 1st on the top ten lists I looked at. I went right away and made an appointment, Ted did a consultation on the spot and made an appointment for me on a Sunday, as I was going to work the next day. Well, highlights, colour, cut, leave in treatment and blow dry, I looked like a million dollars! I was so happy with the whole experience, I made another appointment for the next 5 visits! They will ensure that you are 100% satisfied with their service and if not they work really hard until you are! I got my hair coloured and was not 100% satisfied. My first experience at Hair and Co was wonderful! Andy did an amazing job with my hair! He was attentive and handled my hair with extreme care, as it was fairly damaged. He took his time cutting the damaged ends, foiling, coloring and styling my hair. He made sure every step went smoothly and perfectly! I went in with untamed, damaged and hip length hair and left with a complete transformation! My hair feels so light and healthy. The colour is also gorgeous! Thank you so much, Andy! It was my first time ever.. went there after I saw the reviews. The salon is very neat and clean ????. All the covid 19 precautions are well practiced. I got my keratin treatment as after I came to canada I started to have severe hairfall and my hair got very fizzy. The hair after the treatment looked fabulous but when i washed after 24 hours my hair got back to the same condition before. After spending $700+ to get the treatment then their shampoo and other products I dint see any difference. I highly not recommend this salon if you have the value of money. Only good for people who has extra cash to spend. For me for sure waste of money ????.

When I first came to get my hair cut, I was skeptical but thought, why not, I'll see what they can do. I've had many unsatisfactory haircuts. Ted led me to Emily. After Emily cut my hair, for a whole good half a year I received compliments. Other girls got their hair cut short like mine. I felt confident and beautiful and me with Emily's cut. Yesterday, I got my hair cut somewhere else. I shouldn't have. So today, I asked for Emily, came back, and she fixed my hair. She is amazing. Emily takes her time, and intuitively knows what you will love. Her hands are blessed by the hair gods. Went in for a womens full service cut, which includes a wash, cut and style. It cost me around 70 dollars, 80 something with tips. The service was amazing as they look me with very little notice. I called in last minute to see if they could squeeze me in and they did! I told the stylist I wanted to keep the length but wanted as much layers as possible as I love volume. She did exactly what I asked for and did an amazing job. The style blow dry was amazing as well. Quick service but efficient. I just wish they went in with a heat protectant before blow drying my hair as it was really hot. I also wish they added styling products like serums as other places do it finish it off. Other than that, it was a great experience and I will be back again! I highly recommend this place as it's more affordable than the downtown spots but you get the same or even better service here.

claudia cut my hair and i love it so much! she and everyone there is extremely friendly and made my sister and i feel welcome. they check our temperature before we go in and sanitize the chairs so theres nothing to worry about there. i got a wash+cut+blowdry, i love it. i’ve been getting so many compliments on it and it’s made me feel more confident, i love her work so much! thank you for making my hair cute :) ! will definitely be going back there and i 100% recommend!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A DYE OR BALAYAGE. Was quoted $180, but had to pay $350. I went here to get a balayage done and showed TERRY a picture of what I wanted (picture attached for reference), and he said "no problem". Well, problem is that I left with a much different colour than I had asked for and dark/light streaks in my hair, clearly showing that it hadn't been done properly. I am so upset and people keep pointing out the lines in my hair to me which is very embarrassing. Pictures attached to show what I left with. They also charged to blowdry my hair after we washed the dye out... if I had known that would have been a charge, I would have gladly left with wet hair and done it myself when I got home. Very unprofessional, and now I have to pay someone else to fix this mess for me because I do not trust going to this salon again.

I have been looking for a salon for months and i've finally found the one!! As soon as I entered, the atmosphere and stylists were extremely welcoming. The salon is so cute and modern, and extremely sanitary (stylists made sure to thoroughly clean between clients). I got a haircut and hair treatment done by Terry, I had complete trust during the process as he walked me through each step, providing tips and tricks to style my hair and keep it healthy. The cut he did was absolutely stunning and my hair feels like NEW after the treatment!! 10/10 recommend this salon.

Waste of money!! I wanted a rose brown hair colour which I found on their instagram page. I showed the picture of the colour I wanted from their own page but it seems like they dint know how to do it. They told me one cost for it and after my hair wash while they were selecting the colour they told me it would charge extra to get the exact colour as the picture and convinced me for a shade that would suit me. I also told them length of my hair that I wanted to be coloured however the results were totally different! My scalp was all red/ pink colour when I got home. The length of the hair which I wanted to be coloured was different and the shade of the colour was totally different as the one I wanted. I feel so embarrassed roaming around with this hair. This costed me around 460cad which is so not what I wanted!!. I wish to get rid of this hair colour or at least get my money back!!

I've had two appointments with Terry and I have had nothing but a positive experience! Both times Terry was very detail oriented and took his time to ensure he achieved the look I wanted. Terry did a balayage and trim and I was very happy with the results. The salon is very clean and it is evident they are taking extra precautions to ensure everyone's safety during this time.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED..!!!!!! I called for an appointment and told the lady that I am available whole day so you can give me appointment as per you wish..... she told me for 5Pm..... and late she called me to come 30 minutes early. I was there by 4Pm but still the guy(i dont know the name but was chinese) , who was my hair stylist was in so hurry that he didn’t did anything properly. I have shown him the photo of hair cut and he did something else to me without asking And then i also asked highlights of violet blonde .... but he gave me the color out of world. Now my some of the highlights are red, some are brown and none is same. My hair look like 3-4 different color. Everytime i look into mirror, I want to cry for my 250$ I went for the first time but decided to never return back and in-fact tell everyone to not go here. I have never been so disappointed, these different shades of hair are so embarrassing that i have to take another appointment to fix it. I have lost all self confidence due to that hair dresser.

13 hours worth of a style for me and it came out even more prettier than I imagined. I had Ted as my stylist but every other stylist was just as pleasant and friendly towards me. I love this hair salon because of their delivery, they’ll give you exactly what you want and then some. A little on the pricy side but you get what you pay for, and that is some amazing service and amazing hair styles.

So after lock down today I went for hair cut , normally I do get good service and cut but this time I am not happy , couple of things firstly they are busy after reopen there saloon so didn’t get proper time and attention which cause a bad hair cut . When I explained my hair are not blended properly from the sides the hair dresser start mentioning my fault because I have bump in my head , I have thin hair and I can see only this , she can’t see anyways all this really made me upset and then secondly I use to pay 28$ plus tax total something 32$ but today they charge me 45.20$ total . 12$ increase is not fair specially these days plus they should mention on phone when I was booking appointment that they increased there prices then its up to me I want to go there or not . Anyways it was my last visit at hair and co I am not gunna go back again .

Today I had my second cut at Hair+co with Emily, and she is truly the best. She listened to the concerns I have regarding my hair and is helping me to achieve my hair goals by giving me lots of tips. Not only that, she gave me an amazing hair trim. I let her know I wanted to keep the length, but also needed to trim the many dead/split ends that I have - and she did exactly that! She is also a very sweet person with an amazing personality. Also, the owners are very friendly, which I very much appreciated. They even have their own DJ - TED! I’m a bit annoyed that I mentioned that I only wanted a “wash and cut” twice (on the phone and when I got to the store). I made it clear that I was stepping out shortly to cut my hair since I have a breastfed baby at home - and I wasn’t sure if he’ll reject the bottle. They told me that they will still dry my hair. Which they did with a round brush (I figured that’s how they dried hair). In the end they charged me for a full service cut. Since i was in a rush, and they already performed the service, I didn’t want to make a big deal and still ended up paying and tipping 15%. I would of appreciated it if the receptionist corrected the situation since she knew what I asked for. Overall the staff at the location is very friendly and the store is very clean and modern. I’m just annoyed that I had to pay almost double what I was told over the phone - to only go home and wash and dry my hair anyways because I couldn’t stand the scent.

Then I had Terry cut my hair and he dropped so much knowledge on me to help me with my thinning hair. He is so amazing! He not only gave me an amazing haircut, but left me with proper information on maintenance for it! That is some great service. I got my mothers and my hair done for mother's day last month. The bill ran me about $500 unexpectedly . My hair was okay, definitely did not love it and it took them over three hours to complete the job due to jumping from customers. I am still not satisfied with my hair . Although the staff is friendly , I will not be going back. Not worth the money for the service provided! They told me that they would call the next day to unsure I was satisfied. I've been seeing Ted for almost 10 years now. Before Hair+Co he worked at a couple salons in Scarborough town centre the latest was En Vogue. Hair+Co is a phenomenal salon owned by Ted and his lovely wife Jackie. Walking in there you are welcomed as if you are family and I have never walked out disappointed. Ted is an amazing colour technician, he has proved time over time that he knows his stuff and he also knows what will look good on you and what will be the best for the longevity and health of your hair. I will no longer tell him what I want because a true stylist knows what will look good on you. I mention some suggestions and he does his thing. I always get a mixture of an ombre and balayage style. He is my stylist and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else, the entire team at Hair+Co are knowledgeable, trained and will provide you with the utmost professionalism and care. You will not be disappointed when you leave this salon. I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing. location super easy to get to so much parking How nice is it to walk into a salon where there is zero catty behaviour going on where you walk in you feel like your at home. They do amazing work I go there 3 to 4 times a week. They are spacious and clean. As most of you know they used to be En Vogue but have moved to this location. Im so glad they did. JACKIE and TED are amazing owners and you can tell that they care so much about every client I see Jackie speak to everyone say hi to everyone and take such personal time to make sure everyone is well informed about the products as well as getting exactly what they want. Ted always makes the customers feel great its such a great family atmosphere there. My favourite stylist is calyssa i dont know what i would do without her she is amazing at my curls she does them exactly the way I like. I have also seen terri hes amazing ! I will not ever go anywhere else i followed them from En vogue for a reason !! I noticed a review down below that was negative it didnt make sense well im sure its beacsue other salons may be jealous. But There is no number system.. they never make you wait long. SO that review is ENTIRELY FALSE and has to come from someone who is just trying to bring this place down. They go out of my way to assist me and i was with a family member elderly 81 years old in a wheelchair and Calyssa went out of her way to help her up and sit and wash her hair to make her feel special and to be able to give her that type of service which she normally would not be able to get. Trust me guys go here. I am a cancer survivor my hair is very sensitive.. i would never trust anyone else to touch it at any other salon ever. This salon is very far to my home but still because of good behaviour I was always going there. But last time they burn my face I had 5 big burn patches on my face when I got the face wax and the reason they gave me was the wheather it was terrible. I went there a lots of time ask them to fix I paid all the time I spent money on my doctor’ prescriptions and more creams. But still i have marks on my face. They said we called a doctor for you and we will let you know it’s gonna be four weeks but they even didn’t call me back. This was a service they provided. I cried when a client was asking me on my work what happened to your face? But who cares? If you charging a lot you have to serve better. Never wanna go there.

I went there for a blow dry. Called them up and made an appointment. The guy on the phone was super courteous and friendly. He told me the starting price for the blow dry although he didn't state it like that, made me believe I'd get a blow dry for less. The services aren't overpriced which was great. Like other salons they provide their pricing based on numerous factors and state the starting price over the phone. Emily styled my hair and she did a remarkable job of it ! They didn't frizz at all. Sometimes at other salons when they blow dry my hair, they usually start to frizz after a few hours even with a hair spray sprayed onto it. However with Emily styling my hair, they stayed like that for a full whole day and the next as well ! I received a lot of compliments for my hair ! Absolutely loved the sight curl she added at the ends! The place is also clean and they adhere to covid protocols as well. At the end of the service, the owner I presume whom I talked to over the phone also asked if I was satisfied with everything. It wasn't just me he asked but everyone who visited the salon. The level of concern that is shown towards all of their customers was really nice ! Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back to try out other services.

I came across this place as I live in the area and thought I would give it a try. I checked out the reviews and saw mostly good ones as well. I came in for a cut and style and was seen by Emily. She was SPECTACULAR. She is such a nice woman, so friendly, attentive, and shared so many tips with me about how to take care of my hair. She is gently and you can tell is very passionate about making her client happy. Honestly shes like a butterfly when she cuts haha. The price is very reasonable because you are getting quality. The place is spacious, clean, and has a nice vibe. The only thing I would say is that the washing stations are too high for shorties like me :( it was a bit uncomfortable but honestly not that big of a deal unless you have neck problems. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend Emily for anyone thinking of trying this place out.

Nothing quite as unprofessional as showing up a few minutes after opening hours, and seeing a store that’s yet to open. Finally, in the chair for the cut, I explain that I want a blunt shoulder cut with NO layers. Somehow I end up leaving with a ton of layers that will take MONTHS to grow out and fix. The stylist decided to do whatever she wanted instead of actually listening to what I very clearly asked for. Don’t come here if you want what you asked for.

I visited this location for the first time last week to get highlights. To be honest, i was very nervous about trying a new place because I wasn't sure if I would get the highlights that I wanted since I've been to many other salons in the past and have been disappointed with the results. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist and she told me that she would take my temperature before entering the salon and once that was done, I had to fill out a form. Once the form was filled out, I went up to the receptionist who told me to come in to the back and have a seat and someone would be right with me. After only a couple minutes of waiting, I was greeted by Emily. She was so friendly and so pleasant from the start and she asked me to come by her chair so we can discuss what I wanted. I told her I wanted highlights and the shade I was looking for. She told me that she would do her best and give me the highlights I wanted. The whole process wasn't long at all. Normally, it would take me 4 hours in other salons but I was only in there for 2 1/2 hours. Emily was quick and accurate and did such an amazing job with my hair! After she washed my hair and applied the toner, she blow dried my hair and I was stunned with the results! it was exactly what I had wanted and pictured and she made it happen! Not only did Emily do an amazing job with my hair but she also provided me with tips on how to take care of my hair so I don't get the brassy/copper look. I would highly recommend Emily because she is amazing and I will for sure be back at this salon in the near future :)

First time going here - truth be told they were definitely warm and welcoming (hence giving an extra star), but unfortunately ruined the haircut. I tried to explain to them to not cut the sides too short, but that's what the hairdresser ended up doing n did it badly (exposing my scalp at weird areas). Price may be justified with the service and hair wash, but in the end what I wanted was a good haircut and I didn't get that. There may be others who do a really good job from what I read in other reviews, but honestly I won't be spending my money for another trial.

He did exactly what I asked for and constantly checked in to make sure what he was doing was ok with me. Started off with about 26” of hair and wanted it to be slightly shortened and be layered as much as possible and I couldn’t have been more happier with the way Mary had done my hair. Was there today to get blonde highlights the guy came to me and told me it starts from 350 although on the phone someone told me it starts from 250 and then while almost done the guy came and said it will be 490 it will still be too much but I agreed, I was very shocked when it was time to pay and leave the total was 790 i was in shock because i only colored a few highlights and I asked the receptionist to why this happened she says its taxes and then the old bald man came to me again and tried to convince me as to why it was 790$ honestly super disappointed I called to get the manager's number but the receptionist refused to give it to me and was very rude.

I would not recommend this place as staff here are totally unprofessional. I went in for my hair color and even though I had booked an appointment in advance there was noone available to do my hair color. They got someone to do my hair color and he was working on other customers as well. He left my hair color on for 45 min and didnt return to get a hair wash done. Totally unprofessional staff. Extremely expensive. I got a cut and boleyage and it cost 360. My hair is not even that long and very thin. Hardly any product used. So disappointed. Will not be returning. I can say though that they were very friendly and the place was very clean and they work hard to make sure social distancing rules are followed. The stylist did a good job over all and was very precise. Make sure you get exact cost before you start.

I really do like this salon. Everyone is very warm and welcoming. The stylist does a good job for my hair type and the aesthetician is great (it's lovely to see how she teaches the others the proper techniques). I only docked a star because I think the stylist went a little too close to my scalp with the hot hair dryer and left a slight burn in one spot. I remembered this happened the first time I went, but I forgot to ask the stylist to ease up a bit and it happened a second time. I will have to remember just to ask them not to go so close with the hot hair dryer or maybe try a different stylist. But still definitely like this place so I would try it again.

It was my first time at Hair + Co. The reviews seemed promising, the place is convenient, and it looks professional, so I thought I’d have a good experience. My hair is short and grey. I hate the old lady look that you get when you go to a cheap hair salon. So, it’s super important to me to have a great style and I’m willing to pay a good price for that. My experience with Hair + Co: I couldn’t find the price list on their website, so I asked for a good stylist and how much it would cost to have a haircut and styling. They said $55. I got an appointment with Darren. When I got there, they were very polite, but told me he was busy, and Mary would cut my hair. A young woman that seemed to me to be a beginner hairdresser did the job. When she finished, I found that it was not even Mary. As long as the style was fine, I wouldn’t have minded who did the job, but the cut was less than mediocre (I did a better job during the lock-down cutting my own hair!) And worse, I ended up paying $90! (tax and tip included). In the meantime, while this woman was butchering my hair, 2 or 3 stylists were chatting by the front desk. They didn’t seem to be busy at all. Never again. What a pity!

My wife went through permanent hair straightening and they did poor job and took close to $500 and hair is not even straight after 2 days. Beware of their sweet language and marketing strategies.

This previous salon destroyed my hair from the cut to the colour, I asked for caramel blonde and got copper, fire red. I came off the chair looking like a cross between Ronald McDonald and a pumpkin, it was terrible! In tears, trust broken, after the previous salon owner arrogantly told me "We do not make mistakes here." I was desperate for a colour correction. I reached out to Ted who literally saved the day and my hair! The transformation from what my hair was to what it became after Ted fixed it was no short of astonishing. The man is a lifesaver! Ted is very experienced and knows what he is doing, he will not steer you wrong! They are not trust worthy. I had a consultation prior to my appointment. I was doing the Keratin treatment and was told it would cost $250. I browsed first then agreed to do my hair treatment on a promised price. I was booked with Terry and when I came in, they gave me a different stylist named Ted, because Terry was with another client during my booked time. Ted had his assistant, Hike do the entire job. Once the procedure was finished, the receptionist told me it came to a total of $400. I was in shock because that is $150 over the original price I was told. After telling the receptionist that I was told it would be $250, the most she would do is lower it to $350. These people cheated me and manipulated my hard working money. They are like robbers. First time trying out this salon and definitely my last. They lost one customer that is for sure. They are not to be trusted.

My first impressions on this salon was out of this world! Given the fact that this was my first time doing my hair, they kept their place clean, they made sure to follow procedures in terms of Covid-19 by checking everyone's temperature and asking the necessary questions. At the end of the day, they ensure to do a final clean up before everyone departed home. All the staff members were super friendly to a point where I felt like I can share anything with them. My hair stylist Ted did an AMAZING job on my hair. I can actually say he is a miracle worker given the circumstances of my hair. I made an appointment and had the best experience in any salon I’ve ever been too.Ted and his team were very nice and explained everything they were doing and why they had to do it that way (which I’ve never had a stylist do before) I have a lot of really thick hair and never knew that my previous stylists just werent taking the time to handle it all. I was in the chair for 7 hours had a bunch of foils in my head, but it was definetly worth my time, money, and the effort of Ted and his team.

I Have brown hair which is very difficult to lighten withought looking brassy and Andy did a beautiful job. I was there for 4 hours one hour past closing. Worst place don’t go there They charged me 120 bucks for a hair spa. I don’t even know what they did .they put a cream and made me sit in the steam which wasn’t even working properly for 40 mins. It dint give me any result later on .The lady literally pulled my hair while washing . After that she said it’s extra charge for blow dry. I dint even ask for styling. When I went to owner about the charge he said I charged you extra by mistake and he will give a credit back next time . But today they just gave me 30 dollars back . I dint understand why hair spa was 90 dollars . It was not worth at all. The prices in their website doesn’t match the prices they charge. I m really upset .

Went in to get a blunt cut because I have front layers so I wanted the rest of my hair to match. Pretty simple job since you just have to make everything one length. Based on the whopping price of $73, I'm pretty sure I was given a senior stylist. She cut my hair uneven and made my front bangs look like I cut them myself. And I think she knew she messed up because she blow-dried my hair in a wave as opposed to straight, so I didn't realize how terrible her work was til I got home and straightened it the next day. I'm typing this as I sit and wait at another salon to fix up her absolute trash work.

I came to this salon for the first time 3 weeks ago and had a wonderful visit. My hairstylist was Emily and she did an amazing job. My hair seriously has never looked so good. I got a balayage and cut. I showed her what I wanted and she had great recommendations to get the look I wanted. She was very professional and efficient while working with me. I was so impressed with how organized she was. After she finished, all of the other staff were very complimentary and kept praising her work. I continue to get compliments from others, even from strangers while I'm out. The price was very fair for the work and skill put in. Highly recommend this salon and Emily. Looking forward to my next visit! Also, for their COVID precautions, I made sure to call ahead to book an appointment. They have you fill out a contact tracing form and do a temperature check at the door. All of the staff were wearing masks and the stations were spaced out between clients. Very impressed with this place. I wish I came here sooner.

I went here a few weeks ago and I ask for an ombré colour and cut BUT I got highlight and a very in even cut. She cut my hair on the opposite side that I a wear my hair so now when I wear it on the usual side it look very uneven. Also I asked for a blonde ombré and she gave me highlights which took about 5-6 hours and they told me it would take 3 hours and now my highlights are turning white/ silver which is NOT what I was looking for at all. If you can not do what costumers ask just say that you can’t ... don’t tell me oh no problem we will do that for you and it comes out completely different. I've gone to Jackie & Ted for 6+ years. Had my hair cut a week after salons were allowed to reopen. I knew that when allowed to reopen they would do a thorough job and they did. Screening at the door, everyone in masks, excellent physical distancing and infection control for workspaces. I was also informed that they have an air filtration system that ensures air is not recirculated and is drawn up and out. Felt so safe there, I brought my 87 y/o mother in last Friday. We both got excellent cuts to boot!

I called asking for their prices. Of course go to pay and they are charging $20 extra to blow dry your hair (I also got burned by the hair dryer). They did say yes they would have let me walk out with soaking wet hair if I didn't pay the extra $20. They conceded at the end and charged me the original price. Will never going back there again!

It was the best decision I had ever made! Ted listened to what I wanted and brought my hair back to life with a beautiful treatment and haircut. I had my keratin therapy done 2 weeks ago.I followed the instructions and used prescribed products.Unfortunately,I’m not seeing any change.My hairs are still frizzy.No doubt,staff was friendly.But,I’m not happy with the results.I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit there for keratin treatment.

I usually dont write reviews but this place transformed my hair for the better. I had recently visited this salon to get my hair colour corrected after a very poor job by another place. Hair + Co was able to do a full 180, taking my jet black natural hair with messed up highlights and turning me into a gorgeous blonde. I was so surprised they could get my hair so light! They pay attention to your wants and hair needs, and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Even when all the work turned out to cost more than the initial estimate given during the consultation, they still gave a reduced price anyways and told me as long as I was happy with my results that was all that mattered. The entire time I was there the staff and owners were friendly and created a comfortable environment. Very welcoming and attentive. Some of the best customer service out there for sure. The stylists are meticulous, skilled, and put hair health to the forefront. They treated my hair with some of the best products to use overnight and then even came in early the next day to finish working on me! In the end, I received some miraculous and high quality work. I appreciate how they give their best efforts with every customer. I am extremely happy with my end results and will not hesitate to return.

I heard her in the background oh I just saw your number so I decided to take the call.. I find this a bit rude, if your on the phone with someone don’t go and answer another call or if you do then at least put that person on hold until your finished with the first call... I don’t think I’ll be calling back for an appointment.

I came here when I got my hair ruined from another salon, the first stylist to come up to me was Ted (the owner) he was super friendly and really accommodating to your needs!! When I came back to get my hair done, I was greeted by front desk and she remembered me! And it was a good feeling being a recognized customer! When I came in, it was SUPER busy and many of the staff would come up to me and update me on my appointment! Super friendly team!! When Ted did my hair, it was already so messed up and was difficult to make perfect but Ted did his best! He took lots of time out of his day to perform a huge service on me And it turned out beautiful!! Wish I came here at the start! He turned my ugly highlighted hair to a beautiful ombre and was also so kind enough to give me a treatment on the house which would fix my pH levels since my hair was strongly bleached by my previous salon. Ted really makes ur experience amazing, he gets to really know your customers and makes everyone feel welcomed! Throughout the appointment, I got to meet Claudia and Teds wife - not sure of the name, and they were both really lovely stylists as well. All of the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Very positive energy and environment! Really sweet people there and I definitely recommend going there! And ask for Ted, he’s one of the best stylists there as he trained everyone who worked there!! I’ll definitely be going back!

Came here after a horrible bleach job done at another salon. This salon rescued my hair! Ted & Claudia we’re both amazing, they both put so much time into making sure I was getting what I wanted and was comfortable throughout my 4 hour colour correction session. I was in a huge rush to leave and at one point I had 2 people blow drying my hair at once to get me out of there intime. Salon is very modern and clean, definitely check them out!

I’ve been Ted’s client for the past couple of years and there is honestly no one that I’m more comfortable with. He listens to what I want and will tell me if it’s a good plan or not, and if it isn’t he will suggest something better than my imagination. I went there for getting my hair colour done, my hair length is really small , I was new to them and first they gave trainee to color my hair she did it wrong and they the they did it again. I just got less than half of my hair done and they charge me almost 400 dollars foe this, it was really over priced and my colour started fading very soon If you want any service there ask about the prices before otherwise they ll give you a huge bill Not happy with the service

I am giving two stars just because of Darren (or else it would have been zero), he was amazing with his service, he did my highlights and hair trim exactly how I wanted. Will I go there next time? I don’t think so. There was a new customer who came in between, Darren asked me if he can help me and the other customer simultaneously, I said I am fine with it. But after that, I had conditioner in my hair for almost half an hour and I was just sitting there while the other customer was taken right away for haircut. Darren did come in between but the owner(was on the main desk) asked him to go help the other customer and someone else will take care of me in meantime. After all this, when I was taken back to my seat to get haircut done, Darren helped me with the haircut, I did mention I am in rush, so he did my haircut and styling all in one go, which I am thankful for. During the haircut, the owner came and greeted the other customer and asked would you like to get something? To which the customer replied no and still he insisted saying “nothing at all?” And then the customer said Water will be fine. I was there in the salon from 10am in the morning until 4pm, the owner came to see me twice and gave flattering comments like “oh I love the color of your hair” “ it looks amazing” but not even once he asked me if I needed anything. Maybe the other customer might be a regular, but at least offer the customer sitting right beside them. It might help you getting more regular customers.

I took my girlfriend to this salon for her birthday a while back. Waste of money! Ted oversold himself and just butchered her hair. It was uneven and looked worse than when we came in. He even made her uncomfortable with his jokes. He's lucky I found out after we already paid and left. She was too nice to speak up and we ended up having to scramble to find somewhere else to get it fixed. It seemed like other stylist knew what they were doing but this guy is a sleazy salesman all greed and no business sense or social intelligence. Taking my money elsewhere thank you very much!!

It has been a extremely long time since I got a proper hair cut. When making the appointment the gentleman on the phone was super helpful and friendly. When I arrived at the salon I was greeted in a timely manner. My stylist, Emily is a god sent. I felt ike I've known her my entire life. I originally went in for a wash cut and style, but after talking to Emily and telling her about the damage I did to my hair in the past she was all hand on board to help me fall back in love with my hair. She matched my hair colour and gave me an awesome cut and style. I walked out of there feeling confident with my hair. I cannot thank Emily enough for my transformation from dead hair to lively hair. I was initially booked with another stylist, but she wasn't available, but Claudia certainly made the change worth while. She took her time. She did a good job with my hair. Yesterday was my absolute first time at Hair+Co. and I can honestly say that I have now found my hair salon (after 28 years!). I have dark brown hair (almost black) and requested a subtle ashy baylayage, knowing full well and half expecting the hairdresser to inform me that it would be extremely difficult for my hair to lift. However, Ted worked his magic and achieved EXACTLY what I was looking for, without further harming my hair with his new bleach. He, along with the entire staff (one of my other faves- Jackie) were honest, genuine, kind and hilarious during my stay at the salon. I couldn’t be happier with my new style, after two years of having virgin hair! If you’re reading this, Ted and Jackie, thank you immensely for the 5 hr hospitality and my new makeover- you did a fabulous job and I can’t wait to show it off!
