I went there after reading the Google reviews. Daniel has a really great interpersonal skills. He made me feel that as if he was my hair-dresser from many years. He knows what he was doing. He takes time and he does not rush. Overall: Great hair-dresser. Now I think I found my permanent hair dresser :) .

Just don't go to this salon I have lost my crown hairs I am literally in trauma, they ruined my hairs I am disappointed and broken I swear I am so so mad. I never had this hair fall issue ever in my life and now I am almost bald from crown.

I live in Abu Dhabi, but I only go to Danell for hair cuts. He can answer any hair-related question and keeps himself up-to-date with new hair styling techniques. He's busy these days, but the wait is never boring. Free WiFi, music, and a chill vibe.

Daniel and Ivy are both AMAZING!!! I went in because I tried to go from brown hair to blonde hair on my own and it turned out very orange and yellow. It was a disaster! I showed it to Daniel and he knew exactly what to do. When he was was finished it was a beautiful pearl blonde. I love it!!! Not to mention, they closed at 7pm and Daniel stayed until 9pm to finish my hair!! He was so patient and kind. Exceptional customer service! Thank you so much and I will surely be back!

I have been Ray’s customer for the past 4 years! I am very satisfied with How Ray cut my hair. Before I met him I have went to a lot of hair salon and they are not up to my standard. Ray charges me a reasonable price and I can tell he is willing with spend time and listen to customer in order to meet their needs. I know first hand while I was waiting for my turn i observed how Ray deal with his customer. I highly recommend Ray for anyone who is looking for a hair stylist.

I've been going to Danell's for three years now and every single time I came out very satisfied. Danell is professional, friendly, and knows his stuff. During my last visit, he talked to me about hair care and was very good at explaining what I should or shouldn't do for my specific hair type. I also get my hair highlighted and each time I come out looking great! I've been to other places and they never take the time to explain things like Danell does. The only advice I would give is to make an appointment. He generally has an assistant, but Danell's the only one doing the styling so if you just walk in, be prepared to wait. He does his best, but he's only one person. If you do make an appointment, don't be late.

I don't recommend to do a japanese hair straightening here although the staffs are good. My hair got damage after they straighten my hair. I went back and give me a free hair treatment but after that its still dry.

He fixed my hair nightmare! I am so thankful to Danell! I went to a place downtown originally and they bleached my hair, but did a terrible job. They even admited that they screwed up and let me come back to try and fix it for free. It was still blotchy and horrid. My hair was virgin before that. I went to Danell to save me and boy did he ever! He dyed my hair back to its original colour and matched it so well even my own mother couldn't tell that it wasnt my own virgin hair when he was done. He honestly saved me and my hair and turned my nightmare into a dream. I highly recommend him for all your hair care needs. From simple trims, to full out colour correction and everything in between. Never been happier than after a trip to Danells!

I went to him because I saw on yelp he had 11 reviews which were all perfect. I called and didnt realize he wasnt opened but he went out of his way to open for me because I wasnt available on the weekend. I have never had such a great experience at a hair salon! He was very friendly and made conversations so you weren't bored staring at yourself. He also took his to me working on my hair and you felt comfortable trusting he will do a great job on your hair. I loved my hair!!! The price was also priced amazingly! If you don't believe me please go try him out! He is officially my new hair guy!

Really nice owner! We were visiting from the US and were looking for someone who knows how to take care of Asian hair. He was so accommodating to work with our schedule and opened the store for us on his off day. Note that he takes cash only. We were so lucky to have some cash on us while we normally don't carry them. He did an amazing job on layering really long hair! Very patience and detail orientated.

After reading all the reviews on Yelp and carefully taking the time to do my research on other places, I settled with Danell's Hair Design and couldn't be happier. I think I just found my new hair guru! Upon arrival, it wasn't busy at all and Daniel welcomed me with a warm and friendly attitude. He's very talkative (not in an annoying way, he just means well and wants to get to know his clients). There's music playing in the background of oldies music but nonetheless the atmosphere is laid back and seemed peaceful today since there was only one other person. After taking a seat, his female assistant came up to me with a robe to wash my hair and gave me an epic head massage that I wish I could relive at this very second. Daniel has been in the hair game for over 15 years and had this location open for about 4 years or so, so he definitely knows what he's doing and you can trust him with your hair (if you're a female) even though he's a guy. He also specializes in up-do's. I told Daniel what I was looking into getting and he was realistic, telling me how much he was going to cut off from my hair which was about 5 inches, and when I came out of that chair I couldn't stop smiling I was so ecstatic! Thank You, Daniel & staff, I will definitely be coming back and letting others know of your wonderful services! I wish you nothing but good business and continued success! =)

For people like me who really don't know what hair style to go with, Daniel has great knowledge and I decided to trust him to whip something up. As he was cutting my hair he gave great detail about my hair and which styles would work best with the thickness of my hair. Haven't look back since. Each visit I ask him to cut it short and he always make the style a little bit different but refreshing.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. I had to fix up a bad haircut I got a few days prior and called Danell to get any appointment I could and he was always very patient despite my repeated calls. He then took me at 7pm yesterday even tho he usually closes around that time because he said he could tell I really needed to see him. And even with working late, he didn't rush. His prices are also amazing for the service you get. 10/10 recommend.

I am very happy with result of my daughter’s hair cut. Darnell has very busy schedule, our appointment should be in 3more days. When I explained tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday, he managed to give us an appointment today. One month ago my daughter had hair cut which ended up with a messy work. Her shoulder length hair had two layers only , and with two inches gap between layers! Her slightly curly hair looked ridiculous. Danell was very patient to fix the problem, and created new style. Now my daughter has a perfect haircut. If someone just needs a straight cut, you might be ok to go for those $10/ 15mins cut places. If a hair dresser spends 45 mins to work on your hair, you will definitely see the huge difference. Experience and sense of beauty are also important. Looks like Danell has all of them.

Danell is always friendly and welcoming. When I first arrived I was worried on how it would go. Everything went smoothly and I’ve been going to him ever since. He always picks up the phone during his hours and always tries to accommodate to your schedule! His cuts are fast, yet to what I desire. Would recommend to anyone!
