I must say, attending this school was the most pleasant experience I have had for a long time. From beginning to end I was impressed with the politeness and professionalism of each and every staff member at the Toronto campus. I took the 3 month long make up artistry diploma course and loved every moment of it. For anyone complaining of driving times... I drove from Kitchener to Toronto every day to make it to class and still have nothing bad to say about my experience. The class instructor was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful in every sense. If we missed a day, we were able to make it up another day. The atmosphere of the class was Kaye's back yet professional. If you were late there was no penalty. I too was In the basement class and have to say first of all it was due to the renovations in the class room up stairs. The basement class room was kept spotless, lights were not flickering and not was there spider webs hanging from the roof like s dungon. This room was very well kept and large enough to move around in without bumping each other. The 3 months I spent at this school I learned all I needed to know to get out there in the field. I fact my, the last day of class the school set a group of us up to work in "FAT" fashion art Toronto, which opend a ton of doors for my future. I am now free lancing and working with a national dance group as their key artist and I have only been out of school for about a week. This school is rated top 3 in Canada, if your serious about a career in makeup this is the school you want to choose! Thank you CBC!!

i had laser treatment from them for my back they burned my skin i have scars all over my back apperently what they told me is the scars will dissapear but it hasnt its been months ! i cannot belive i trusted this people and i wish i can post a picture of my back here please people for your own good do not do any laser treatments and at dixie and dundas location.

The microblading class is not good i am not satisfy. in first day she read just from book with any explanstion and after that she practice on her client for show how doing that and finish every thing in one day scond and thired class you practice on your model she is with 4and 5model and she didn’t have time to see all you doing with your modle .after that classes i do with my client and not ink stay and all of my modle ink not stay i call to them ask help and thay say to me you have bring your modle and 200$for learning Gain that is not fer becouse for 3days i gave them$2500 for bad teaching she read notebook and we read from that with out any explantion about lesson becouse in one day it is not possible to learn very good i wish my mony must spend in good college with free support classes ang good trainer learn from her skills not from reading ....????????????????????????

Here at CBC Toronto Campus Triana is always looking out for her students, even from my first inquiry she had a speedy response and is nothing but pleasant to work with on a daily basis - she’s sat down with me and helped me guide my education in the right direction to get my business going and really get my self on a good track. My teacher Chiara is selfless and sweet - she makes learning so fun and always has amazing things to add to lessons that you won’t find in the books. The affordable - no pressure atmosphere and the amazing service I find at school will keep me coming back for as much education here as I can. Love this place

DO NOT GO HERE! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! AWFUL PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH! From start to finish my experience with the Canadian beauty college was negative and I feel was a money grab. I chose the week long program because I was hoping to do it while visiting my parents in Bolton, Ontario from where I live in British Columbia. Unfortunately the Bolton location did not offer the week long program but the one on Eglinton Ave East, Toronto was. After being pressured to pay the $500 deposit a day or two later I was contacted by the school in Bolton, ON, who notified me they had decided to hold the week long program after all, and it happened to be the same week in mid December. I did not expect there to be any trouble changing locations, seeing as they share a company name and website, yet the Toronto location refused. The owners of the Toronto location expressed they did not do refunds and would not refund me my enrollment fee even though I did not want to be refunded I just wanted it transferred to the other location. They refused, and since I obviously did not want to be out the $500 I decided to try to make the most of it and take the class. Rather then being able to take the class 5 minutes from my parents home I was spending over 2 hours commuting each direction in and out of the city. This added up to over 20 hours spent traveling! On the first day I paid the remaining 500somethingdollars of the course fees before getting brought to our classroom. We were taken downstairs from the building, back outside and into another storefront then into a basement. Because I am from out of province I had not toured the facilities, so maybe it is my fault for assuming I was taking the course in one of the classes pictured on the website, not in a basement with NO WINDOWS and flickering florescent lighting.When we did eventually start the class and our instructor began telling us what we would be learning throughout the week she pretty much told us we would not be learning anything useful and that a certificate class is pretty much useless in the industry. She told us this certificate would not be good enough to get a job at a make-up store or counter, basically just shoppers drug mart. I'm not sure if she was supposed to be trying to get people to upgrade to the full program or what but by the end of the first day I felt like this was going to be a complete waste of money and that I was being scammed just as I had feared. I don't feel like I was taught any new techniques, anything special or anything I didn't already know. There were a few students who were barely present during the week, one in particular only came in for maybe 3 hours the entire week and when she did she came with her husband, brother and sister-in-law. She would be in and out of the classroom taking phone calls and was very distracting, I felt as if she should have been asked not to return. My experience after the course was not the best either, I asked that the certificate which was not ready for us on the last day could be mailed. When It did not come by mid January I called to make sure they had the correct address on file, which they did. When it had not arrived again 3 weeks later I called and this time they told be they needed me to pay a $5 mailing fee, because for some reason after spending $1000+ they could not spare $5 to mail out a piece of paper.. which I doubt costs that amount to mail anyways. After two weeks it still did not arrive. I had to call another time, where they told me it had been sent.. and by the end of the week it had finally arrived. All-in-All I find it really hard to find anything good to say about my experience with taking this course and the Canadian Beauty College, I feel like it was a total money grab and I feel very cheated by the entire experience. I really do hope that there are people who had much more positive experiences then I did. I am feeling it is necessary to express my feelings and experiences in case it helps deter other people from taking this program and from having a similar experience in dealing with this company.

The facilities are clean and organized and the educational program is amazing. Highly recommend!

I had a really good experience at this college, I took the makeup diploma course which I completed in 3 months. My instructor was fantastic extremely knowledgeable and spent so much time helping us individually. We had a small class of 7 and it was so nice and intimate. I would highly recommend Canadian Beauty College.

Actual product used for shellac nails is inadequate. The students also need more training as they forgot important steps that I had to remind them about. My shellac mani still only lasted for a day before chipping. You pay for what you get, poor quality nail service.

Starting with Beverly which was incredibly helpful when I needed to choose the right course for me as well as making the right financial plan for my budget. When the classes started I got to meet my great class mates and teacher Sonam which goes way off her way to help the interested students. I'm learning so much about everything that involves makeup. All I can say is that I wish the course was longer. Keep up the good work!

Being an almost graduate student for Medical Aesthetics at CBC Toronto Campus, I would have to say that it was a life changing experience. I had such amazing people that surrounded this wonderful journey of mine, from my classmates to the staff members who were so thoughtful and motivating. Challenging at times, but by the end of the program you will feel prepared to go out into the world as a medical aesthetician. Seven months later, I have multiple current and pending IMDB-credits for several short- and feature films, in both black & white, and colour. Additionally, I’ve had my special FX work published internationally, and have just landed a full-time account management job at a reputable private label cosmetics brand. Perhaps the best thing is showing up to a job or a set, and finding I am not the only CBC graduate there, we are often the model/producer’s first choice, and our quality of work is well-recognized. Thea at CBC completely changed my perspective of makeup, and her knowledge is invaluable. She is open with her own experiences, tips and tricks. A year ago, when I applied to CBC, I was a 30 yr old broke big baby, not knowing how the rent was going to get paid. This school, and the immeasurable support of its instructors, director, dean, and other staff, changed my life.

I truly had such a great experience at this school. I initially started with the skin care certificate and laser tech certificate and changed to the full Medical Aesthetics diploma. Every experience you have is what you make of it. If you show up everyday, try and work hard this will be such a fulfilling experience! The teachers were all helpful with questions and I’ve even been able to email them or call after being done for help and questions. As much as I liked all the teachers and administrators at the school I’d have to say Christina is just above and beyond. She’s so smart, so helpful, kind and beautiful and will teach for every learning type. I’m so happy I went back to school for a career change and I’m very pleased with the experience and knowledge I gained. There was a change in ownership while I was attending which made a few days a little unorganized but, that’s life. There will be days in home life, work life and personal life that don’t go as planed, we’re all human and if a few bad days ruin an experience, you’re not going to like working with the public anyway. The Canadian beauty college was one of the best schooling experiences that I have had to date. I had always been interested in learning more about makeup but wasn't sure what to do as I would consider myself a beginner student and was intimidated with starting at the level I was at. My teacher was very helpful and knowledgeable, made things that looked complicated into something easy to understand. I was a bit discouraged with the first few looks that I did, but my teacher was so encouraging and would always say that we are here to learn, practice and you will get better. I ended up finishing the program with a 94% and enjoyed every second of the learning process. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly that ive been debating going back to school to learn a different skill. thanks Canadian Beauty College for everything you've done for me!!!

I recently completed the laser certification course at Canadian Beauty College. We learned both theory and practical applications of the laser. The classes were small and we received personal attention from our teacher, Amanda. Amanda made the course work easy to understand and fun to learn. I enjoyed working in the clinic with actual clients and look forward to putting my skills to work in the near future with my own laser. The school is centrally located, clean, modern with up to date technology and I would recommend this program to anyone interested in laser technology.
