I have been going to Marsha to do my hair care and maintenance for over two years now and she is the best. She does it all for me color, cut, treatments, and any style that I want! She is reasonably priced, professional and hygienic. When you find someone that is passionate about what they do, you will never leave unsatisfied and that is Marsha.

Gotta give this place some kudos. I booked a last minute appointment to have my "quarantine dreads" re-twisted; they could have easily turned me away or asked me to reschedule upon seeing the work I had cut out for them, but Marsha was very game and painstakingly took on the challenge like an absolute pro. I'll definitely come back when it's time for a touch up (if they'll have me haha)

When she finished dreadlocks for me, I’ve been 6 weeks didn’t wash my hair as Sue requires, so that my scalp is inflamed. I totally paid $450，AND I need to fix my dreadlocks EVERY WEEK, cuz it very messy, $100 for each time, of course I really appreciate Sue gives me 20% off, I just need to pay $80, but it still $400 each month. I don’t think someone gonna pay $400 for fix his/her hair every month. So I removed the dreads, but now I still got her junk mail. Appreciate if you can stop send the junk mail to me, Sue. Thank you so much.

I'd venture to say, as is typical in the Black community, these reviewers either have no respect for their own time or had nothing else to do on the day they booked an appointment at this salon. The website and social media makes it clear that its "BOOKED APPOINTMENTS ONLY" and after reading these reviews I thought "oh finally a professional Black hairstylist" ...boy was I wrong again. As with countless other Black Hair Salon/Stylists I've had the displeasure of dealing with over the years, BeautySue (real name Marsha or Masha) had absolutely zero intention of seeing me on time. I booked an appointment for 12 noon and arrived at 12:00 noon, even a bit concerned that I was late because she has several communications automated to ensure the client confirms the appointment and is reminded of that appointment beforehand. Another amazing tactic that I thought meant this would be a rare professional and enjoyable experience. I'm not sure what "customer service" these other reviewers are talking about because I found that there was none. Not only was she half way in the middle of doing someone else's hair upon my arrival, she didn't say hello or welcome me, she simply said put your contact information in the notebook. 20 minutes later which is honestly when I should have walked out, she finally asks me "are you here for the 12:00 noon appointment", this is after I messaged her at 12:05 to let her know I was there and was extremely disappointed to realize she was the woman doing someone else's hair who did not greet me, I was hoping maybe it was someone in the back of the salon who I missed. While doing the other person's hair she had what I presume to be her friends call her and ask if they could drop in around 4 pm... so I guess its not booked appointments only. After 45 minutes, I got up, crossed my name off the notebook and left...obviously without her even taking so much as a glance at my hair. By the 45 minute mark, I was expecting to be in the chair with my hair at least a third of the way done seeing as the service I booked was only supposed to last 1.5 hours and silly me even budgeted 2 hours of time and thought that was being generous. Another typical Black hairstylist and salon with no decorum or sense of professionalism and even worse ZERO respect for clients time or their own which seems to be endemic to the Black community in general. I can't say I'm surprised because this has been my experience multiple times which is why I usually do my own hair at this juncture in my life but I'm super super disappointed that I wasted time again because I was tricked by sly marketing and what I'd be so bold as to say our reviews from Marsha's personal friends. If you have a job, a life, or anything else to do with your time...AVOID THIS PLACE.
